MARLEY: I love nappin these days... Well of course Ive allus liked it, but I like it even more lately.
BINQ: I actually spent some time sleeping on the watery bed!
I dont usually do that. Lori says the bed is hers. But Marley and Taz ignore that, so I thought I would give it a try.
BINQ: I rest very well. I also play very actively. TBT says I basically have two levels of activity. Full ON and full REST. Today, you see me at rest.
The bed is great, as long as I am alone on it.
TBT: Since Taz wasn't in the previous bed post, I thought I would show a few when he is.
He hopped up to see where it was safe to nap. You can see Lori glaring at him.
The waterbed is sort of neutral territory. Partly because it is warm and comfy, but also because it is my place at night and these 3 want to be close to me at night.
Binq is the odd cat out. I have yet to see her on the bed at night. When I get up in the morning, she rushes in to seek my attention. She rubs around my feet, jumps on the bed to get scritchies and strokes, and meows at me for even more attention.
But among the other Mews, it is "Peace, glorious peace"...
MARLEY: I dont know why, but everycat seems calm around me. I just am who I am, and the other Mews seem peaceful near me. TBT is very grateful about that.
I just like them all. TBT says I dont have a mean bone in my body. Well, why would I want a mean bone?
Lori is allus a bit upset, but she is calm around me.
Binq is a bit odd. She stays by herself mostly. But she is often near me, especially on the bed.

We are Thankful for the warm watery bed. We know we mention it often, but since we (and TBT) like it so much, we decided ta say so again. MOL! 😻
We are done with our several outside times and have had our first dinner, so we are relaxing now.
We are Thankful for the heaty waterybed an the laundry! Socks are best, but any of TBTs clothes in a pile is good. If the bed is our bed, the socks are our head-pillows...
Really, we love the socks pile. TBT hates sorting them out. So he tends to leave them there fer us.
TBT: I bought thick thermal work socks of "heavy" and "medium" to fit some shoes better a year ago. Every pair is slightly different, so sorting them out takes a while. I used to just buy some that were all identical, and I could just stuff them in a drawer all together.
I sort them out, fold pairs together, and fit them into a drawer eventually, but seeing the M-L-L Mews napping so happily on them is so nice, I delay it.
Besides, who cares about cat-fur on the outside of thick socks?
Warm soft bed, getting along as usual, peace and quiet, nappin... What's not ta like?

MARLEY: Laz an I are helping to make the bed today. Well, he likes the sheets to be flat, so we layed on then to do that.
MARLEY: I am thankful fer the waterybed. It is one of the few really SOFT places where I can fully stretch out.
THE MEWS: TBT says today is Thanks Giving Day in our place where we give thanks to the bounty of nature and (for us) mousies. Sometimes a birdie, but that is rare. But on our own, we would be very hungry cats.
So first we want to thank TBT for the food he gives us every day several times. It is GOOD STUFF. We get fishie food and birdie foods every day.
Second, we want to say TBT is a GOOD FRIEND. He scritches us in places that we have trouble getting at, He takes Sticky Seeds out of our furs, He takes loose furs off us. He lets us sit on his LAP and feel loved.
He pays attention when we meow. Sometimes that just means we want attention and sometimes we want to go out, He seems to know. We are thankful for that, He doesn't speak The Language, but he guesses pretty well.
He talks to us all day. We love to hear him talk to us. It means he knows we are there around him. We all talk back.
He stays outside with us ta protect us when we are out, and that makes us feel safe. We love being out. It is very exciting. And so, when he has to go IN to like make his complicated meals, we come back in. Because we know he and we will go out again the next day.
We know we are lucky kitties, TBT says so. And we agree. It is a GOOD PLACE. Marley and Ayla knew from the start (well after a few days). I Laz, had a trouble trusting it at first, but I know now,
We are showing it by getting along. Yeah, we used these pics a few days ago, but it still counts. We are getting along.
We are all thankful and happy here...
