To Kim Murphy...

THE BIG THING:

Re: Bess and a rant

I’ve read your story, Kim Murphy. And you know what? I don’t believe a word of it. Cats are tough, but Bess would not have survived 9 weeks in an enclosed place without food and water. And she would not have stayed silent for so long.

I personally suspect somebody knew Bess was in that enclosed area… I don’t like the implications of that, whether that person was a child or an adult.

And I have to wonder about the previous “bad luck” you had with cats, Kim. One cat off the balcony, yeah. It can be a surprise that they misjudge depth. Twice, no; that was your fault.

You should have been prevented from having control over another cat from that moment on… You should have understood that cats are not mere decorations around you, that they are living creatures deserving care and in the case of odd circumstances (like high balconies) must be protected from them. A cat does not understand being many stories up. It may jump at a bird or a moth. Any person who lets a cat out on a high balcony is (and my apologies to everyone) a “fucking deadshit idiot”.

You failed that simplest care and protection of cats. You still obtained another cat, Bess, and failed the basic requirement of a person to a cat. To know where it is, to search the house when it seems to be lost. To listen in the night for cat cries.

And if you think I am going to believe that Bess made no cry-calls when trapped in an enclosure, you are completely, absolutely, utterly wrong.’
I have one cat who is basically mute. Yet, in duress, she will call out. Was Bess more mute than that?

I call you out as someone who should not be permitted to have any pet again in your life, that Bess should be freed from your stupidity and lack-care. You should not be trusted with a goldfish.

You disgust me…

Another Birdie - Yippee!

LC: It looks like Ayla is following Skeeter's pawsteps. She caught another birdie yesserday! She even managed ta get it inta the house still alive an skwakin.

She chased it aroun in the computer room until The Big Thing got in an grabbed it. He dint care that she got a birdie, he jus dint want fevvers all over the house.

He encouraged her outside wif it. She was fine wif that. As long as he saw she caught one, ya know... She played wif it a while.

Tossed it aroun...

But she just wandered off after a while. No focus.

So ya know who ate it? I did. Heh, heh...

We Don't Know What To Call This...

Twas the day after ChrissyMouse, the place was a mess,
There was paper and mousies and treats we both guess.

The papers were shredded, the the mousies afloor,
We'd eaten our full of the treats; said "no more".

The Big Thing appeared with a smile so bright
Our eyes were detracted to slits from the light.

He sat down beside us, and stroking our furs,
Said "It's all just us now. Your mine, and I'm yours".

A New Year is coming and life goes along.
We honor the old and we sing them a song.

Of the love we have for them and the kitties we miss
But we must move on bravely, no tears and no hiss.

He spoke us a list of the cats came before
And told us "reflect on their lives" and adore.

"Cats come and they go, and the Beings the same"
The years may be difrent, but one thing remains.

The bargain continues from ages of old.
When cats met the Beings who sheltered from cold.

That cats caught the mousies who ate of the grain
And Beings provided the shelter from rain.

That Beins would love us and we would love them
As equals and peers; like diamonds and gems.

Unlike other critters, domestic and prey,
We cats have connections the others can't say.

The others are taken, for food or for work,
But we, the grand cathood, are not of that quirk.

We stay, when we want to, as choices we make
But leave, when we want to, our freedom to take.

The Beins will love us, as always they must,
But time comes upon us to have wanderlust.

Or stay around when times get hard, the choice is up to we
Who bridge the gap twixt house and field, so freely easily.

But let us thank them for their care, because sometimes we gain
The quiet soft release at last, relieving us of pain...

The Rainbow Bridge does call too soon, until we meet again.

Our Secret Paw Stuff!

We got to open our Secret Paw package this morning! It was from PB&J... We dint know we got a package, cause The Big Thing hid it when it arrived. Well, LC let me do all the openin an stuff cause its my first ChrissyMouse here and she enjoys watchin me get itna stuff. Yippee.

I looked ofer the package carefully (which is how I learned it came from PB&J). I hadda get TBT ta open it though cause it was all stuck closed.

The stuff inside was wrapped in pretty paper. I'm gonna play wif the paper later. But I was able to open that.

Look at all the cool stuff. What a great pile!

TBT organized it so we could see what was there. There were Fancy Feasts (toona, salmon, and shrimps). LC and I decided we will have the shrimps for ChrissyMouse Dinner! There were also some salmon treats, a green rattley ball, a soft kitty head that rattles, 2 fevver butt mousies, a big fevvery ball, an some plastic rings. Oh wow, I love all those things. LC grabbed the big fevvery ball and ran unner the guest beds.

There is also somethin called a "laser". We dont know what that is, but TBT smiled. He said we would be playin wif it, but we wouldnt know it. That seems weerd...

I played wif the mousies first. TBT said we could play wif the other stuff later.

Thank you so MUCH PB&J! Merry ChrissyMouse...

Finally Got Outside Again!

AYLA: It feels like I been trapped inside ferever! First I was in Heat, then I hadda stay inside a few days after my operation, then it was SO COLD The Big Thing wouldnt even let LC outside!

So I was REAL glad ta get out today... I went running around a bit, just ta stretch the legs.

Then I went lookin fer mousies. I heard some rustlin sounds in the flowerbed, but it musta gone down its mousie hole.

Then I went an checked around the rockpile. They like that area cause they think the rocks proteck them. But thats where I catch them the most.

Sometimes it is a good idea ta just stand downwind from the garden an sniff the air.

But I didnt have anny luck. So I went an sat down unner the birdie feeder to see if one would just fall over from the cold. Would ya beleef that they were so hungry they just kep arrivin to eat efen though I was sitting there in plain sight? They are really stoopid. On the other paw, I didnt catch anny either.

That Bloo Eyed Thing

LC: I think it was a Bloo Eyed Devil... A peekin in on me... Maybe it was a vishus deer, but I think it was a KITTY-EATER!

Ya know, that One Eyed, One Horned, Flying Bloo-Eyed Kitty Eater! Momma TOLD me about them! I was lucky The Big Thing came out...

Cause if I had turned my back it woold have gotten me. Thank good fer The Big Thing comin out wif a flashy light and scarin it off. Those things don't scare Beins! an scarin it off off. But still, I stayed nose ta nose wif it fer whole minnits wifout runnin!

{Yeah, like a rabbit in the headlights... But its OK LC, I was a bit spookified too. I'll wear my nice sharp Gladius outside next time, cause I think that thing didn't much like me neither! And it sounded large when it ran away. And it wasn't small... TBT}

UPDATE! We asked The Big Thing to find out about the Bloo-eyed monster. He checked all kinna places and the only thing he foun that reflected back blue eyes is a "horse". Now I gotta say that TBT says horses are REAL tall, but they do eat grass and can bend down. An when TBT came out it made a lotta noise when it ran away. So we think mebbe I saw a "horse" through the fence. I sure aint never smelled one of THEM afore...

About Ayla's Operation

THE BIG THING: There have been some questions and surprize about Ayla's 2nd spay operation. Since she is a little uncertain about all this, she asked me to explain a bit...

1. Summary: When I originally arranged to adopt Ayla (nee Isabel), the nice cattery lady (Heather) said she would have that done the day I was to pick Ayla up. I was pleased, because that saved me both the trouble and expense. Ayla was spayed in January 2008.

A few weeks later, Ayla went into heat. My vet and the operating vet both said that can sometimes happen a few times after a spay operation. When the 3rd heat cycle occurred in April, I contacted my vet for an exam to confirm that Ayla was indeed in heat and not suffering some other problem. A test confirmed the hormonal cycles were continuing.

When I contacted the operating vet, he suggested waiting one more time, but did say that if it continued he would do a followup operation at no cost. When she went into heat again in May, the operating vet was off doing international charity vet work.

Ayla was relatively calm during the Summer (one heat cycle in July), so I thought it was fading away finally. Her heat cycles resumed every 3 weeks in early October...

By that time, I was focussed on Skeeter's worsening kidney problem and the behavioral difficulties that followed from that. I should add that both vets had suggested very little possibility of success in a followup spay operation.

The day after Skeeter went over The Bridge, Ayla went into heat again I contemplated the idea of going through that for the next 15 years and started doing some research. To my surprize, reputable websites generally said that a followup spay operation is routiely successful. I contacted the operating vet a few days later (my own vet was reluctant to followup on another vet's surgery).

The original operating vet was surprized to hear that Ayla was still going into heat, but agreed at once to do the followup operation. Though his staff failed to return my calls to arrange a visit, I reached the vet on his cell phone at 6 a.m. the planned operation day and he agreed to see her first thing. His office is an hour's drive away. So I had to grab Ayla and drive off fast.

Ayla had her operation, and the vet, knowing I was just killing time far from home, returned her too me in 3 hours. I drove Ayla home, but she had to stay in the cat carrier until the anasthesia wore off. We will have to wait and see if the followup operation was successful.

The vet did find what he thinks is a tiny amount of ovarian tissue. Interestingly, he also found an undisolved "disolvable" suture from the original operation.

2. About the operating vet... The operating vet seems unusually experienced. He has performed about 75,000 spay/neuter operations nationally and internationally, and mostly for charity and animal shelters. He says there have been 5 times that he knows of where the spay operation didn't work. I googled him and he seems to have a sterling reputation. My own vet said that he himself has performed about 25,000 spay/neuter operations and 3 have not worked. And he says followup operations were not successful.

3. Options... The operating vet is researching pharmacutical solutions in case the followup surgery doesn't work. My vet mentioned to me last Spring that such are available but "dangerous". If it comes to that, it will matter whether "dangerous" means a 5% chance of problems or a 50% chance of problems. But we aren't at that point yet...

Met A Weerd Creature

LC: I was out a long time yesserday, past dark. So, The Big Thing came out lookin for me. Well, I was starin at some creature through the fence. I dont know what it was. But when The Big Thing came out with the flashy light, the thing's eyes glowed BLUE!

Well, that was too strange, so I ran back ta the house with The Big Thing. Wow, was my tail POOFED! An this picture is when my tail was already unfloofing!

Yike, Another Operation!

AYLA: I got operated on again yesserday! Geez, it was the same thing they did ta me when I was 6 months old. I guess they enjoyed it so much the first time they decided ta do it again.

The Big Thing says the first operation was so that I wouldnt go inta heat, but it didnt werk (well duh, I figured THAT out). So they decided to try it again. We'll see.

But Im still kinda disgusted. I mean, I got tossed in the PTU, stuck in the noisey machine fer a hour, drugged, cut open, left alone when I waked up, stuffed back in the PTU, drove a hour back home, and left inthe PTU (in my own house) fer 5 hours, I hurted all day yesserday. Im still not feelin great. But at least I can walk aroun again.

I was so mad, I refused ta talk ta The Big Thing all the way home or anny at all yesserday! I finally relented an talked ta him this morning cause I wanted breakfast.

Purrs For Beau

LC and Ayla:

It Is Time...

LC: The Big Thing says it is time to stop mourning Skeeter and get on with our lives. Easy for him to say when he cries onto his pillow at night, but we unnerstand his point. We all go eventually. And it is my duty to be the adult cat of the fambly now.

I spent yesserday checking through all the rooms of the house as Skeeter taught ME ta do, making sure there were no bugs or mice. I had Ayla following me to see what she needs to learn before I go over myself. She is not my best of friends. Well, she is in heat an all, and that is annoying.

We checked through the upstairs an dint find nothin. But there were 2 moths in the basement and we each got one of those. At least Ayla is good at that stuff. She jumped one really high up...

The only litterboxes are down there too now, so I made sure Ayla unnerstood that. It was a bit weird us usin them side by side litterboxes at the same time. Ayla is not shy about that. I was a little weerded... But it is just us girls.

Skeeter and I would nefer do that! Times change...

We crawled through the deepest parts of the basement and found nothin to worry about. A few spiders, but we dont mind them. They catch bugs too and are welcome to them in the deep corners. I showed Ayla places to check that she has not really paid much attention to before. I told her she better remember these places. Well, I wasn't either when I first arrived, but I learned when Skeeter guided me around a few times.

After we were done, I asked The Big Thing fer some treats. He brought out my favorite dry ones (Science Diet) and we shared them. Well, she IS my little Sister, after all. Ayla enjoyed a couple soft treats. I dont care for those, but she likes them OK.

I let her sit on a chair wif me fer a few minutes, but she is all stretchy an merfing in heat so I left. She stayed there cause The Big Thing was givin her some attenshum. But he gave me lots of stritches too on my favrit ottoman place, so that was OK...

He says we can both have some turkey and shrimps tonight. I'll be happier for the shrimps, but Ayla loves turkey, so that werks out. I might be innerested in the turkey liver though. I don't see that very offen.

Skeeter seems happy ofer the Bridge. He says so annyway. I got to wait a while afore I can join him, so I may as well get used ta bein nice ta Ayla. Yesserday, we aktally slept near each offer on the waterbed. I spose it wouldnt be so bad if we aktally touched.

But she better sneak up against me real slow-like...

Skeeter - In Memorium

First, a poem...

"ODE TO SKEETER", a poor poem from a distraught friend…

O Cat!
Precious Friend, companion, snuggler.

Inquirer of my mood, my thoughts, my worries,
Fingertip-licker, lap-sitter, arm-nuzzler!

Attention-demander, stroke-receiver, lap-treader,
Meower extraordinaire, stretcher, bug-hunter,
Mouser beyond compare…

How did I love you?
I cannot count the ways you gained access to my heart.

Really, everything you did defined graceful motion,
Attention to me, or your pursuits.

You could run through a china shop, and not disturb a thing.
Or destroy everything nearby. Your decision.

The most utterly perfectly suited creature to live in the natural world…
And you chose to stay with me.

Second, a short review of his life...

THE TALE OF SKEETER THE CAT:

I remember the first day I met you, alone and frightened in that little pet store being renovated with great dust and loud noise. How you were terrified by the commotion. I had not come into the store looking for you, but I found you anyway and brought you out with me. Together, we escaped the sounds and dust.

At home, I let you sit in the little cardboard kitty box for an hour to smell the clean air and the quiet of your new forever home.

When I opened the box you fled, and who would blame you, to the nearest hidey hole you found. Under kitchen counters, into the air vent cutout, deep and calm. You stayed in there for 3 days, but when lured out with treats and quiet talk, you discovered warmth and kindness and scritches for the first time. The time of terror was over as you melted into my arms with your first purrs.

You grew to teenage pride, and in the meantime, like a young shining knight of King Arthur’s court, you protected the weak and frightened LC kitty newly arrived on the following Halloween day, from the Great and terrible Grendel Kitty Tinkerbelle. You whapped back at Tinkerbelle for the first time, to protect your young charge where before you would not do so for your own sake.

You grew to be a great mancat, lounging among the flowers in your prime. All the mice and bunnies were yours to command. And control them you did. In your best year, no vole or mouse dared to chance your backyard domain.

But time waits for nocat, eventually the Bridge began to call. You saw that time coming. As you had passed on your hunting knowledge to LC years ago, you did the same for your new sister Ayla. You taught her well, old knight… Instead of a powerful terror-lord of mice, there would be a lethal princess of mousie-doom. Yes, you taught her well.

Passing on the crown, you allowed yourself to finally give in to the call of the Bridge. You spent your last days at the side and feet of the Being you loved so well and so long. When the call became too strong, you asked to visit the Good Vet for assistance. Calmly ensconced in my arms, you smiled and said “See you on the other side, my friend”.

Thank you for your time with me, Skeeter… It may be a few years, but I’ll “see you on the other side, my friend”.

This side of the Bridge is emptier without you, Skeeter, nor will I ever see your like again….

THUS ENDS THE TALE OF SKEETER THE CAT…

Third, Skeeter, 5,884 days were not enough. But they were all that were allowed. I cherished every day from the first to the last. And there will be many more days that I will cherish the memory our all-too-brief time together... Enjoy your health and happiness over The Bridge, dear friend, and know that we will meet again some day.

Packages, Cards, and Names

LC and AYLA: We are all missing Skeeter. But a few kitties mentioned that cards and packages are on their way to us that include Skeeter's name. They felt upset by that.

We say, do not be upset. No one knew at the time that Skeeter would not be here to receive them. We will consider it a personal honor ta receive those cards and packages in his name. It will be good to see his name and accept the cards and such in the meaning they were sent. We will receive them in joy and remembrance of our dear Big Brother.

And by the same token, many kitties have recently or will soon receive cards that Skeeter signed. Grieve not, for he signed them in life and we sent them off not knowing what would occur the next couple of days. Accept the cards without tears, knowing that Skeeter was there at the time to sign them with good holiday wishes and love for you all, as we did ourselfs.

And lastly, we want to let efrykitty know that we both have receives dream messages from Skeeter. We unnerstand he is healthy and happy beyond The Rainbow Bridge, 5 years old, with claws (!), in the prime of his life again. And that he was greeted at the Bridge by Tinkerbelle, Jeremy, and Mischief (who came before) and many of the kitties who passed over the Bridge the past 2 years, and efen kitties he nefer knew before.

He said he is special friends with Cloud Chaser, who crossed the Bridge with him at the same time and that they have great fun wrasslin a bit and running around together. I guess it kind of makes a bond, since they nefer knew each ofer before.

Skeeter also said that he wouldn't be able to contact us this dream way for too long, as he will get pulled into his new life stronger each day.

LC: But he left me a final thought. That he was with me so many years, I could hear him longer. That it wouldn't be so long before he greeted me, mebbe a year, and that I could be 6 months old again and we would nap together as we used ta do. I'll like that.

But, really, don't be upset if Skeeter's name travels around fer a few weeks. He doesn't wantya ta be any upset about that...

Missing Skeeter

THE BIG THING: This is going worse than I feared it would, and I feared it would be bad. I have not eaten in 36 hours, I have not slept in 30 hours, and I have no desire to do either. I know my body will compel me to eat and sleep eventually, but not yet, not now. And I have to bring LC to the vet for her own liver and thyroid exam in 12 hours.

I know Skeeter's spirit is free and healthy and happy over The Bridge. I know he is romping with lost old and new friends in sunny fields. But I miss his happy lap-purring and his sauntering walk through the house. I miss his voracious appetite at dinner and breakfast. I miss tossing him tidbits of meat as I was preparing meals. Or surprising him with a kitty treat I had stashed in my pocket. I miss his WEIGHT on my lap.

I miss the color of orange fur! All over the house. On my clothes. On my chairs.

It has been exactly 12 hours since he left my life. The hole in my heart is as wide a castle gateway and deep as a moat. You don't need to reply, I am just casting this into the ether like a tumbleweed across the desert...

Farewell, Skeeter, Dear Friend...

THE BIG THING: Skeeter went over The Bridge at 3:45 PM EST today. The vet gave him a sedative first, followed by the "final" shot. He passed out of this world easily and painlessly. There was no sign of the least discomfort. Indeed, I think the sedative itself was sufficient. I made sure that he was looking into my eyes as he went.

When we returned home, I took Skeeter out of the cat carrier in the garage and carried him upstairs where I laid him down on the floor. I felt it was important that LC and Ayla come over to sniff him, so that they would realize he was dead and not just "missing". After a short while, I went outside to choose a resting spot for his body.

Skeeter, unlike LC, never had any particular favorite spot. But his final afternoon outside yesterday was spent next to the little pond between two large perennial flowers, so that is where I dug the hole to receive his remains into the Earth.

I covered the spot with a fancy paver block, until I can construct something more personalized and permanent. LC and Ayla were outside with me all that time. It began to rain, so we went back inside.

Over the next couple of days, I will try to construct some sort of eulogy and "in memorium" retrospective of Skeeter's long and wonderful life to post here. I just can't do it right now. It is too painful...

Finally, I want to express my profound and deepest thanks for all the comments we received the past day. The outpouring of purrs, prayers, and hopeful wishes for Skeeter were overwhelming and will be treasured. We have received messages from old friends, longtime readers we never knew of, and first-time visitors. The messages have made this very difficult day a little easier. On behalf of Skeeter, and for LC, Ayla, and myself, I thank each and every one of you.

Skeeter Update...

THE BIG THING: It is with a heavy heart that I most advise every kitty and Bein that Skeeter has taken a dramatic turn for the worse today. He has stopped eating regular canned food (and he never met Stinky Goodness he wouldn't eat) and cannot even be coaxed to eat his favorite soft or crunchy treats.

He actually went outside today and sat by the little pond and lapped some water. But he couldn't get back up the stairs. I carried him up. I fear that was "the last hurrah"! He has been hiding in the bathtub since yesterday night making little calling sounds. I have seen no sign that he has used a litterbox in the past 24 hours.

He doesn't seem to want to be stroked or held. It may be becoming painful. He can't groom himself anymore. I spent some time cleaning the dried rheum from his eyes, cleaning his legs and paws which were becoming stuck with litter bits, and cleaning his tail. I held him on my lap this afternoon, wrapped in a towel. He only wanted to get away and sit in the bathtub.

His fur looks like Grampa's old raccoon coat, he smells bad, and I consider the odor a very serius problem. Not for me of course, but Skeeter has always been a sweet-smelling cat and this sudden change must be a very serious sign of problems.

He is unsteady on his feet for the last couple of days, but it has become markedly worse today. The vet advised me months ago that such unsteadiness would be a "final sign". Yesterday, he walked stiffly; this morning he walked unsteadily, tonight he is walking "almost falling over". The vet promised me he would not be in pain in this end stage of kidney failure, and I will trust him on that.

This morning, Skeeter joined me in my morning shower. He has never done that before. He has been terrified of falling water all his life. He normally won't go out on even wet grass. This is a last sign that his mind is going.

Please keep him in your thoughts this last day or two. The best cat I have ever known is about to go over the Bridge... I will miss him all the remaining days of my life. No cat has been has wonderfully friendly and close to me. For 15 years, anytime I sat down in a chair, Skeeter was there to curl up on my lap. He happily ate any food I offerred. He was a kind Protector and Hunting Teacher to LC and Ayla.

Keep him close in your thoughts this night...

Mancat Monday

Not lookin good!

Those gray spots are when I get my paws wet in the water bowls and then walk though the litterbox...

Holiday Card Makin...

SKEETER: About our determination to make cards to send...

"The Macware for we sent away,
Did not come again today.

And might not ere upon the morrow.
We'll waste no time in petty sorrow...

But haste the old PC to rise,
We'll set it up again, dear guys.

An old familiar keyboard ring
Oh PC, how "of thee" we'll sing.

One last time into the breech,
that Mac,; we one last time will teach.

That there is still a value yet
the PC with good cards shall get...

The holiday in spirit rise,
In one last gasp we must surmise,

When one last greeting we will say
Hurray! PC made cards today.

NEW CCSI IV ! Breaking News Report About Ayla

AYLA: "Oh fluttering birdies in the mouf!" The new CCSI IV (The Momomo Caper) is bein announced. An I (lick, lick, purr) am featured as "EVA MARIA"!

I don't know if I am a "good gurl" or a "villiness" yet (we had LOTS of strange lines ta speak fer the Director, and most could go either way) but I hope that if I AM a villianess, I was a really evil one, ya know? That would be good fer my career. On the other paw, if I am a really "Good Gurl" that might be easier. Villininesseseses can get furcast, ya know...

Ya gotta go check me out as soon as the new CCSI is shown! We can all be amazed at me together...

See my new SIDEBAR! Pictures, promos, Badges about the new CCSI!

Trust me, anything I learn, it will be announced HERE fast.

We Are Annoyed...

Ya see, we ordered a cardmaker program last MONTH fer our young Mac puter, an we were told today it might arrive annywhere from Dec 2 ta Dec 16. So we got 2 choices, either take apart the Mac hardware an put the PC back up or hope Mac's program arrives any particular "tommorrow".

We aint thrilled with either idea. First, we find it real hard ta pull out the plugs on the monitor,(an we can nefer figure out where ta put them back in the other puter).

We mean, ya know, we aint gotten any new thumbs lately... An The Big Thing really doesn't wanna set up the old puter again iffen it would be "just one more day" afore the Mac cardmaker arrives. Partly, the one on the PC wasn't nice ta use anywhosits, he says.

But we has "leverage". He gots ta make a birfday card fer his Mommy by Monday... Heh, heh, heh. So The Big Thing HAS ta set up Mac's software OR the old PC hardware on Sunday. An THAT gives us time ta make an send cards ta our friends one way or tanother on Monday!

Now, if he would just organize our pictures, so we could use them in posts, we would be OK again. We cant figure that part out ourselfs. He says he will haf ta make like 1,000 new folders. That doesn't sound good...

Sorry, we are just real grumpy taday! We DO have cute card stampies though. Toy Soldiers! We were GONNA have ones wif our pictures but SOMEBODY forgot about that until it was too late. We are gonna be bitin some toes tonight and Ayla is gonna "make biscuits" on his tummy while he tries ta sleep!

The Passing of the Crown

SKEETER: In the secret place unner the basement stairs where no Beins go, in the light of bare moonlight, before the least dawn of a new Light, we three assemble here.

I Skeeter, hasve called LC and Ayla here tonight for a solemn ceramony! In all our time, there has always been one Supreme Hunter in the cavehouse. I have held that title for 14 years.

Tonight, I turn that title over to a new Supreme Hunter. In all my time here, The Big Thing has nefer discouraged us from capturing and eating mousies, rabbits, squirrels and birds. Granted, we haf nefer caught a squirrel, but it is allowed.

In the past 2 weeks, Ayla has gotten squirrel fur in her paws after outclimbin it onna tree, which I have nefer done either of. Several days ago, after being inside without practice fer a week, Ayla simply ran out an caught a mole in 5 minutes without effort (hearing it from half the yard away). Yesserday, she caught a dove, the like of which I haf nefer caught. (A tear falls from his stern eye)

It is with profound admiration, deep respect for a real talent, and expectations of a real squirrel to be caught "someday" that I pass my Supreme Hunter crown to Ayla. Swift of claw, fleet of foot, stealthy beyond beleef, profoundly dedicated to catching mousies, an a true prodigee of The Art...

I hereby annoint Ayla Supreme Hunter of the house. All hail Ayla, Huntress Extry Ordinary, skilled an all that; Huntress!

AYLA: I am honored by Skeeter's werds, his confidence in my huntin abilities, and the huntin tradition that goes back through many cats. Skeeter, before him, Tinkerbelle, and before her, Jeremy. I promise to do my best to maintain the tradition. And I especially want to thank Skeeter for teaching me so well since I arrived here in January! Without his example and personal training, I would not have gained this skill!

LC: Ayla, I thought this title would be mine someday through seniority, but you have shown great skill and it is rightfully yours. I hereby make no claim to it. I honor you as official House Supreme Hunter...

I Caught A Chick-Hen!

AYLA: It MUST be! Look how BIG it is... It's almos as big as what The Big Thing took outta the oven yesserday!

I've been tryin ta get one of those chickies for months. They sit unner the finchie feeder onna deck, right at the bottom of the stairs. Efrytime I go out, I sneak ta the edge an peer ofer. They usally fly away. But this time I had been out a bit and came up unner the stairs an hid! Yes I did, I hid an waited real patient like.

So this time I GOTTED one! It was so big it efen pulled me aroun a bit when I grabbed it. Skeeter an The Big Thing efen saw me do it, so I got witnesses! An wif a bell on my collar...

Bast, it almos pulled me up in the air! I twisted it around and sat on it so it couldn't do anny more of that "flying away wif me stuff". Then I grabeed it, bunny-kicked it, and put the bitey on the neck til it stopped strugglin! OH WOW!!!

Skeeter couldnt beleef I done it. He has been trying ta catch one of those chick hens fer years an nefer did.

But I couldn't figure out what ta do wif all the fevvers. I pulled them out in mouffuls til they were all ofer the place and still couldnt get at anny meat. Am I spossed ta eat the fevvers?

I tossed it aroun for a while ta see if the fevvers would fall off, but they dint. And wow, was that birdie HEAVY! I would grab it an toss it in the air, and it just came down "thud"... So I gave up fer a while. When The Big Thing called me inta "Dinnertime", I came right in. He had cooked a chick-hen, (without fevvers) and we all got some, so that was good. I gotta figure out how he gets the fevvers off though...

[Ayla, that was a dove, not a chicken. But a great catch and Skeeter and LC are quite envious]

[Next time, a secret kitty induction ceremony...]

Got Outside Yesserday!

AYLA: I got out of "Heet" Friday, so I was allowed out yesserday. My first time out inna whole WEEK! Hurray!

It was great! I ran all around, climbed a couple trees, chased squirrel, an sat onna fence top. I wassnt out more than 15 minnuts an I caught a mousie, Well, a mole, WHATEVER!. I was so ecited!

I had lots of fun with the mole.

It tried to hide unner the grass, but I kept pullin it back out.

I brought it to the door, but The Big Thing wouldn't let me in with it.

I whapped it good! See the claws?

So I played wif it onna deck an carried it all round the yard later. Skeeter finally came out an ATE it. I jus wanted it as a toy...

Thanksgivin Day Thanks

From yesterday

"We are thankful for our food,
For our shelter,
For our food.

We are thankful for our toys,
Litter boxes,
Treaty joys.

Mousies voles and shrews outside,
Toyful voles
And Shrews inside.

Our Big Thing, good provider,
Opens Stinkey
Goodness, nighter.

In the morn, we always see
Fancy Feast
Most smellery.

In the dark, in noise an thunder,
He's the Thing
we hunker under.

Sleepy time, we sneak and strut,
Tryin ta curl at
The Big Things butt.

Except when he gets up to pee,
But we don't mind,
cause so do we.

We walk the silent rooms at night
As he cannot,
Without a light,

And so when he is up in bright
We know a day
Has started right.

Then breakfast, and some toys he toss
We know this day
Is not a loss,

So round and round the days go by
Forever joy
Until we ..."

-----------

Skeeter, LC, and Ayla: Ok, we wrote yer a poem, NOW can we have somma that chickie ya cooked today?

[YES, dark meat or white?]

Both, all. WITH gravy ...

Nom, Nom, Nom... Lap, Lap, Lap. Purrrrrrrrr

[And HAM?]

Oh Bast... Nom, Nom, Nom...

We forgive you...

Nom, Nom, Nom...

LC's Bouncin Attack

SKEETER: I mentioned that a day or two ago, but I should explain... When LC an I were young adults, we were in an out of the house at the same time. If some strange kitty came over our fence, we would both just run at it and that was enough ta get it ta turn tail and flee.

But when LC started likin being outside longer than I did, she adopted a new trick, and it was SO FUNNY ta watch. She "bounced" at the intruder kitties. Really! Like she had her legs all stiff amd springs unner her paws. Weerdest thing ya efer saw! The Big Thing calls it "The Kangaroo Attack".

Best we can figure it, the intruder kitty sees her bouncing up in the air and realizes that this will be no nose-to-nose hissy/howly face-off, but a pounce of doom from above! And no kitty wins bein pounced from above!

Not that LC is the heaviest of girlcats, but she's had years of esperience knockin me over when I twicet her weight and wasn't lookin, and she bites more than she paws attcha!

Guess Who Is In Heat Again?

LC: After only 18 days? I mean, c'mon, give us a break. Ayla is gone hormonal on us again.

Seriously, she drives me crazy. Annywhere I sit, she jumps up an sticks her butt in my face. Who wants THAT? I hafta keep hoppin from ottoman to chair, to the bedroom, just to get a little lack of attention.

Skeeter hides alla time when Ayla is "this way" cause she insists on wantin attention from him. He even curled up on TOP OF some furniture ta try ta get some nap time an peace. An he REALLY does not like ta climb furniture. I think he got "arthritism" and climbin is not easy fer him. TBT noticed that he has "litterbox issues" while Ayla is all bothered...

The Big Thing let me outside almost all afternoon. He was diggin holes inna ground and putting some "crokases" inna holes. But cause he was there, I got ta go out in the front yard. That was real cool.

Kinna scarey too. A Bein walked a real big woofie by our yard, and I stayed real close ta TBT when it went by. It was scary-lookin. After, I got ta walk through drain tunnels and neat stuff. An I efen "crossed the street" inta the neighbor yards. TBT called me back as soom as he saw me there. An he even stood on the street ta make sure no noisy machines could come by while I returned!

But when TBT finally went back inta the basement, I was relieved ta get inside.

The front yard is ecitin, but a bit scary.

We're changin to "Layouts"

We don't know if that is gonna work real well, but we will try it.

We hope ta get our sidebars back soon...

Mancat Monday

SKEETER:

Always look aroun careful-like for intruder cats. Ya dont wanna be caught by surprise! I know their favrit places, but sometimes they decide onna differnt place. When I do see one, I call LC. Im too tired ta tangle these days, but she bounces at them all weerd an it scares them way better annyway!

Random Thoughts and Observations, Part 2

SKEETER: Continuud from yesserday...

6. Ayla loves ta jump over us when we are walkin down the hallway. We're not getting pounced but it FEELS like we are. Its confoosin!

7. LC is getting a cream cheese treat twicet a day an she hates it. I cant figure that out. LC says its cause she doesnt espect it and it is smeared on her lips when she doesnt know it is comin. [Skeeter, LC is getting her thyroid medicine that way - TBT]

8. LC chases her tail while sittin in chairs. Done that fer years. I tried it a few times an cant figure out the appeal. Whats the big deal of chasing yer tail - its just part of ya. Would she chase her foot? LC jus smiles and says nothing...

9. Ayla chases efrythin BUT her tail. Her favrit toys are plastic milk bottle rings an yellow plastic ties (fer closin up trash bags). I guess her rule is: if it moves, bat it all around the house an down the stairs. I unnerstand the toy mousies and the new toy shrews, an fevers, but plastic? She efen has a golf ball she plays wif. I batted it an it was HARD!

10. LC wont sit on The Big Thing's lap. Proof she is weerd! Its the best spot in the world...

I am, of course, completely normal. But I live with 2 weerd kitties an 1 weerd Bein... Things is sometims very confoosin!

Random Thoughts and Observations, Part 1

SKEETER: I mostly sit and watch and listen ta things these days. So I decided ta write down a few of those things...

1. Has annykitty noticed that the Word Verifications are easier lately? I mean, they used ta use Q, Z, J type letters, but now ya can aktally PRONOUNCE the word (even though it isnt a real werd). Its a lot easier ta type them that way...

2. Ayla is SO weerd! In lotsa ways... But the new one is that she HATES walking on dead dry leefs! She will take big long deetors through the yard ta avoid them, even when rushing in fer dinner when called! She will even make big long jumps of several cat-lengths (yards?) ta avoid them.

3. She is weerd about climbin stuff, too. She likes to climb on the bottoms on the carpeted kitty condo an hang upside down. That makes my head feel funny when I watch her.

4. She sure loves her collars. She aktally "preens" with one on. But she likes ta remove them too. The Big Thing hadda give up on those safety "break-away" ones cause she kept comin home wifout them. Nah, she wasn't getting them caught on stuff, they came off inna house too. But at least TBT could find them there. So he bought the old buckle kind. She popped that one off too. Maybe he should just paint a collar on her. But he says thats not the point of having a collar... Beats me, I nefer had one. Neither has LC.

5. The Big Thing keeps stranger hours than we do. At least we are awake at dawn and dusk. Sometimes he sleeps right through one or the other. An sometimes he will stay awake 2 days! He's weerd. He got up at 3 PM a few days ago (well, he stayed up past dawn). We dont mind sleepin on him all day, but it is heck on our mealtimes!

Gonna go take a nap, more tomorow!

We Gotta Prize!

AYLA: We gotta contest prize from Goldie and Shade. They hadda contest of guessin how many mousies Goldie would catch over the Summer and we guessed right (57)...

The Big Thing opened the box an I jumped right up ta check it out. The First thing I found was some neat crinkly tissue paper. I had fun rippin it wif my teef. When it was all out, it fell ta the floor an LC went skiddin all over the room wif it. TBT couldn't get a picture of that though, cause she moved real fast.

Then I found a note from Goldie an Shade. It was a real nice note - all wrote out an evrything! They said they wanted ta send real ones but were NOT ALLOWED. That's probly cause the shrews might have chewed out of the box. But they said there were play ones inside.

So I quick-looked fer the "Bag O' Shrews" they mentioned. Oh cool! We got 4 of them. They is so cute with a tail, eyes, and all little legs ta grab. They are home-made; we are all real impressed!

I grabbed one right away an started playin wif it. I beat it up real good (an it smells great too). The bag was fun, too, but TBT set that aside ta store the shrews in our toy box.

I also knocked it down onna floor, ta test it out there. That werked real good too! LC grabbed it while TBT wasn't lookin and ran inta the bedroom.

I was still checkin the box. TBT pulled out a pouch of Temptashuns. An then a SECOND pouch! Wow, we're RICH. He said we gotta finish the one we haf opened already afore he opens these, but I recognize the pouches - we LIKE those lots.

Thanks so much, Goldie and Shade.

I Gotta New Collar!

AYLA: I don't think this one is gonna fall off, either. It has a real buckle. I think the other ones came off cause I scratched at them (just in the normal course of scratchin) and busted the "break-away" thingie. I mean, it came loose in the house several times too. I wasnt TRYIN ta get it off.

The Big Thing says he thinks I am safe, cause he made sure I could pull myself offa it. He put it on me, then pulled a bit and it came off over my head. So I cant get trapped onna stick or somethin. So he put it back on me and let me outside.

If I keep it on fer 2 weeks, he will put my microchip tag on it. I LIKE tinkly stuff on a collar, so that is cool. The bell is great' I feel like the rattly mouse toy is around. A little tag will make me feel safer if I get losted.

I hope this collar stays aroun longer! I am SO HAPPY ta have a PRETTY BLOO COLLAR again.

(I think LC is jealous...)

The Three Kitty Cats Gruff

Once upon a time, 3 cats were wanderin the land. They came across a carpeted bridge over a river. Skeeter went ofer it first. A voice from below said he had to offer 3 kitty treats ta cross. Skeeter said the voice should show itself. The voice said "I am bigger an stronger than you an I will rip yer furs up if ya don't give me 3 kitty treats!"

Skeeter was feelin tired, so he reached inta his pack an tossed over the 3 kitty treats.

Then LC went ofer the bridge and the Voice made the same demand, LC decided there wasn't a good place ta go bouncing at the Voice like she likes ta do at intruders, so she tossed 3 kitty treats over the bridge. And went along her way.

Then Ayla came ta the bridge. The voice made the same demand. Ayla jus laffed. She said, "Hey Voice, ya got a carpet covered bridge an I just live on that stuff. I'll be upside down on ya in one mousie heart-beat iffen ya try ta mess with me!" The Voice replied "Pay the toll or be eaten!"

Ayla tossed one treat ofer the side, climbed up the opposite rail, down the other side, around to the unnerside upside down an downside up, and grinned at the Voice from over its head...!

"Yer just a moussie wif a megaphonie", she said, dropping on it. "Eek" was all it said in return...

Nom, Nom, Nom...

And no kitties efer had to toss treats ofer the side of THAT bridge efer again...

Our 30,000th Visitor Contest - Poems

SKEETER: Well, we got a bunch of poems! We narrowed it down to the top 5.

They are:

From One Eyed Jack:

Skeeter, Skeeter, toona eater,
Has the greatest toona feeder.
He had a plate and licked it clean
A cleaner plate you’ve never seen.

and

All around the Cat Blogosphere
LC chased the froggie.
LC thought 'twas all in fun.
Plop! goes the froggie!

and

The Itsy Bitsy Ayla
Climbed up the ladder high;
Down came the rain
And made Ayla slide;
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain;
And the itsy bitsy Ayla
Climbed up the steps again.

From Samantha & Mr Tigger:

Ode to 30,000 Visitors
By Samantha & Mr. Tigger

It started with 1
Then we saw  2
Day after day they grew
Then we had 1000

Oh my we were good to have so many come
And come and come and come
And then there were 20,000
We posted and posted and posted some more
We had pictures and stories and Ayla came, too
We test tasted food and mousies from outside
And had lots of fun
Now we are 30,000 plus
40,000 here we come!!

A poem in honor of Skeeter & LC’z 30,000th Vizytor
By Dr Tweety

Dey are bloggerz extra-or-di-naire:
Skeeter, LC & Ayla da Princess so fair.
Deze kitteez iz pleezed wit dere bloggy
evfun when rainz makes dere pics all foggy.
I sure hopes I yam da big sqwillionth vizytor
(Sure soundz better den da Spainish Inquisitor!)
And I hopes I winz dat big important prize-
If it’s ham it’ll be grand,
If it’s tuna I’ll pick it up soona!
If it’s a mouse, just send it to da house.
So let’s all have a round & raize our glasses to da sky,
Fur da bloggie of Skeeter, LC, & Ayla da Princess on high.
(Oooops… I tinks I haz a (hic!) speck of ham on my thigh!)

----------------

It was a real hard decision. Shadow/Molly/Troo and Samantha/Mr Tigger both mentioned our 30,000 visitors. Goldie and Shade captured our hearts with the individual mentions of things we like best. And One Eyed Jack set his poems to songs. All were so great. Dr Tweety spoke in his unique way that we all love.

We wish we could sent prezzies to all of them!

But, a decision must be made. It was SO close! Skeeter voted fer one, LC fer another! After readin and re-readin the poems, Ayla finally cast the decidin vote. So we are awarding the "Best Poem" ta Samantha and Mr Tigger.

Their poem included our 30,000 visitors, Ayla's arrival, and other parts of our blog. Thank you all for participating!!! We really did love ALL the poems!

We will send The Big Thing out ta get the cool stuff fer the prize tommorrow...

Sunday Canned Food Review

AYLA:

Just wanted to say I havent fergot about doin it, but I keep not gettin aroun ta settin up a new judgin system. Its lots more fun ta just run aroun outside and play wif toys inside. An there is this new weerd red-dot that I cant catch aroun the floor. So I am VERY busy, after all...

Skeeter says I wouldnt be a good judge cause I eat ANNYTHIN inna can. I'll show HIM, but I need ta think about it more... I might ask The Big Thing ta help me.

Maybe... Havent decided yet.

Ways of Giving Me Pills

LC:

Well, we have gotten many good suggestions (on the blog, by email, and offline from friends) on how I might accept my pills most easily (I really do hate those things). I dont like being grabbed or held or my mouf messed with. So iffen I gotta take them, Im sure looking fer the easiest way...

1. Powdered in hamburger ball (or other ground meat or regular canned food)
2. Powdered in Pill-Pockets
3. Powdered mixed wif cream cheese.
4. Powdered inta cream cheese an smeared on my gums/lips (where I will just naturally lick it all off).
5. Pill-Shooter.
6. Rolled in a towel for forcible pill-pushing.
7. Powdered, mixed wif chicken broth, and eye-droppered.
8. Jus shove it down her throught. (ACK!)
9. Buy the med in liquid form.
10. Get the med "compounded" ta rub in my ears.

I hope I dint miss any. Iffen I did, remind me. jkk7u8ghhtnmzs (Oops, an Ayla keyboard walk)... ;)

The forcible and manual pill-inta-the-mouf doesnt work. The Big Thing tried that a few times an I clawwed up his arms pretty bad. Couldnt help it, jus hadda resist the oral attack.

I don't like bein rolled up inna towel. I doubt any kitty does. The 3rd time I saw the towel I ran an hid.

TBT has tried mixing the powdered pill in my canned stinky goodness or even real food like chickey meat, but that hasn't worked well. I like to wait and see what Skeeter an Ayla are eating afore I eat, an they switch bowls a lot. I wont eat mine inna seperate room either.

TBT went ta PetsMart and Petco ta look at pill shooters. I don't like the idea, but it seems the opening is too large ta hold a half the little tiny pill, so that probly wouldnt work annyway. Yay!

So the remainin ideas are mixing the med with food in some way or smearin it in my ears. Those dont seem too bad. Well, I mean they would be seriously less annoyin annyway.

TBT checked out the pill-pockets today too. I dont like standard kitty treats, so he doubts that would work, but that stays on the list of things ta try. I might give the salmon-flavor a shot.

We almost never have hamburger aroun here. TBT doesn't trust it, but I would be willin ta try that. I would try a little cheese ball, too. I sometimes eat a tiny bit of cheese, but I usally lap it ta death and I stopped when I got ta the little bit of powder inside.

TBT really likes the idea of mixin the powdered med wif cream cheese and smearin in on my gums. I suppose a lifetime of a bit of cream cheese twicet a day wouldnt be TOO horrible.

The med in liquid form is like 5 times as espensive, but I HAVE taken meds that way afore an it isnt too bad. I dont like it, but TBT knows he can do that.

In liquid (powdered and mixed with chickey broth or water) might work.

Has annybody tried that "compounded-med-in-the-ear" before? It sounds really weerd! And a bit icky. But mebbe not too annoyin. TBT checks our ears often an it aktally feels kinna good. I bet that costs even extra!

So whattaya think kitties? Whick way would be easiest for you? And anny of you who is already taking meds would be most important ta know...

To Our Friends...

SKEETER AND LC:

To our dear friends...

We are overwhelmed with all the messages of hope and comfort in response to our posts about our blood test results showing kidney, liver, and thyroid problems. We were astonished at all the kitties who left comments or just visited the blog.

We thank you each and efry one. You have made us both feel better more than we can efer express. Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Until we joined the Cat Blog World 2 years ago, we nefer dreamed we could have such friends. We were already kinna old then, an we are amazed an grateful efrytime annykitty visits us. It is a thrill to see each and efry comment.

We are grateful fer each kitty who has expressed hope fer us staying around, fer all those who have talked about the warm welcome we will receive ofer the Bridge from their forecats, and all who have suggested ways ta take medicines that make it all easier.

It all helps, an The Big Thing has been takin notes. He is, for example, going to visitin Petsmart to find a "pillshooter" for me (LC) an he will get some hamburger to wrap aroun the pills too so I don't have the same thing happen with meds efry day.

He is also considerin the Bein help sites that many kitties haf mentioned. He has had no kitties before that lived ta our ages, so this is all a bit new. So he and us are kinna enterin a new time together. We all are thinkin that these times are a special time, where we grow old wif problems and learn how to part eventually (fer a while).

Pax Cattus...

I Hadda A Real Good Week!

SKEETER: Wow, I dint realize it, but I hadda real good week. The Big Thing says I dint pee out of the litterbox ONE SINGLE TIME fer a whole week. I'm proud an he is really happy.

I think I been amembering stuff good lately. Litterbox, sittin onna his lap, LC, Ayla... I efen been goin outside more offen too.

I hadda a real good dinnertime. I got stinkey goodness, an The Big Thin efen gave me peeces of STEAK from his own plate. He almos nefer does that. That was cool an it tasted real good too. I dint beg; he jus offerred it...

Ayla says if I am outside the same time she is, she will climb uppa tree fer me ta watch. That would be cool cause I've neffer seen her do that, I think.

Also, don't forget out poem or picture contest here

We need more entries...

Like:

"Where currently LC resides,
There's a cat name of Skeeter besides.
30,000 have visited
And many have commented
And we smile til we're happy insides!"

Or this:

See, it's easy... :)

Lost Another Collar

AYLA: Oh dang, I lost another pretty bloo collar! The Big Thing an I went out in the yard tryin ta find it, but we couldn't.

We looked everywhere! I don't amember where it came off. We efen went up onna roof looking fer it. It's not like I WANTED to get the collar offs me; I like them. They just seem ta disappear sometimes.

Those "breakaway collars" just don't have much stay-around power wif me...

ADDED: Oh we almos lost track of Veterans Day with all the "troubles". Our bestest purrs to all those who are working ta keep us all safe or did so in the past.

Skeeter Vet Test Results

SKEETER: It seems my blood is even dumber than LC's and gettin dumber fast. Just my luck to discover I have dumb blood! The Big Thing says I should blame my kidneys fer not doin their job, but it was blood what was tested, so Im blamin IT!

The Vet told TBT that my kidneys are gettin worse fast. My blood got tested onna buncha stuff, but I got too much of somethings called "BUN" and "Creatinine". The right numbers are 30 and 2.2. In June, they were 66 and 4.3. This time they were 126 and 5.5. Since the June numbers were "very bad", these new ones must be "really very bad". I dont know how high they can go...

I had 5 trips to the Vet in June an he filled my skin up with water. It dint help anny, so we arent tryin that annymore.

TBT says this kidney problem is why my furs are all rough an messy an why I drink an pee so much. Im actually glad ta know about my furs, cause it was really frustratin tryin to smooth them out right an not bein able to. I thought mebbe Id forgotten how, ya know?

The drinkin an peein thing was trickier. Ive ALWAYS drank a lot of water, so who knew? The peein outside the litterbox is cause my kidneys are affectin my brain an sometimes I dont amember where Im sposed to "go". Im amemberin real good today, which is why this is a good day fer me ta be posting.

Well, some days are better than others fer me. I wasn't feelin good enough ta type yesserday (felt all "fuzzy"), but Im feelin a bit better today. I even went outside fer a whole hour this afternoon. I sat on the grass in a sunny spot, felt the breeze go by, an watched the birdies flyin around. LC an Ayla were out wif me, runnin aroun. It was nice.

TBT talked ta me about all this today. He says Im old (well I KNEW that) and that things sometimes start ta go wrong when yer old (I DINT really know THAT). I thought I was just spossed to go ta sleep one night an wake up at the Bridge. He says that one day I'll start ta feel sicker and confused an mebbe fall down some. When that happens, he will take me to the Vet for a short nappie. THEN I'll wake up at the Bridge...

He says when I cross the Bridge, I will be young again. Ive decided I will be 5 years old wif good kidneys an furs again. I had big rippley muscles then, so that sounds pretty good. I'll meet lots of other kitties an LC will even join me there after a while. An one day, The Big Thing will join us there when HIS kidneys or something go bad. Then I will be able ta sleep on his lap again whenever I want...

I'll like that most of all.

Ooh! TBT jus called "Dinnertime", an I smell TOONA! Gotta go...

.
