Flashback Friday

Today, TBT wants to go back from before our time.  He found this picture and it reminded him of An Event...

Back 60 years...  TBT was like 10 or something, and was his own Dads caddy.  His Dad was an scratch golfer which TBT says meant like "no handicap" of hits or something.    His Dad could hit a golfer ball an it would go low at first  then rise up and settle down in the middle of the playing field.

But TBT had a joke ready.

One day, his Dad hit a ball wrong like way into the woods and asked TBT to toss him another.  That was the moment TBT had been waiting for.  He tossed his Dad a ball and his Dad was so upset, he dint look at it carefully.

When TBTs Dad hit the ball, it exploderated into a cloud of dust.  His Dad just stood there confused.  His golfer buddies looked at TBT and fell on the ground gasping (laughing).  Seriously, they couldnt even talk fer minutes!

It was a golf ball made of chalk.

TBT told us about that today seeing the golf ball picture, so we thought we should share it.

Caturday Saturday

ALYA:  TBT and I had a long discussion last night.  I'm innersested in what he watches, but I dont see golf on the TV annymore since Grampa left.

He said he only watched it cuz Grampa loved it.  Well so did *I*!.

I LIKED watchin that little ball float in the air and get knocked around.  So we hashed it out.

 He said "sure, go ahead and change the channel to The Golf Network"...

Hurray.  Wait, I cant DO that.  Oh BAST!

He KNEW!

He said "That's why I'm in charge here.  Fingers.

Oh man, hes gonna PAY fer THAT!

Oh wait, he changed the TV to the Golf Channel.  But hes still mean...  Ooh, he plays with me sometimes like *I* do with a mousie...

But golf balls... Purrs...

Watchin TV

AYLA:  Some of us love watchin tennis, some like acrobatics; I love watchin golf!  I sit right up close so I can watch the balls move around.

I can see the balls move even at high speed!  TBT says he knows that cuz Im allus lookin at the right place.  (Its hard though)

Its a LOT easier when the balls move slower, like here.

I like seein Beins all tiny-like...

Yes, there is a ball in the air here.  Its hard ta see, so TBT (an Grampa) actally watch where IM lookin.

This is tricksie when there are shadows, but Im lookin right AT the ball.

The waving little flags are fun ta watch too...

Here, Im checking the leader board.  Our favrit, Furyk, was near the top.  Well, I LIKE anny Bein with "fur" in the name.

But he dint win.  We were all sads.  It was still ecitin ta watch though...
