He was stuck to the computer, so we made some plans...
I whispered to Skeeter that we should check on the pea gravel paths AND get The Big Thing away from the computer.
I mentioned to Skeeter that the basement door was left a little open and I could just get out through it.
Skeeter whispered back that it was a good plan and said he would bug The Big Thing for some lap time or scratches after I snuck out. Well, some of us are doers and some of us are distractors! Whatever works. We make a good team...
I left fast and quiet...
When I heard The Big Thing babbling away at Skeeter, I slipped outside and checked the new path.
Well, the pea gravel looks deep enough, though not level yet. There sure seems to be plenty of it! He is missing some of those hard steppy-stones. I suppose he will barf up or poop more of them or whatever he does to make them. He better! I like walkin on the hard smooth stepping-stones more than the pea gravel.
The plasticy edging stuff seems straight up and down, an it doesn't "give" any when I'm pushin on it here. I guess he did OK on that part.
It doesn't look like he hurt any of the plantses. The bees are still happy with them. So OK on that part, too. They are smellin kinda dry, though, so he should water them. But everything is dry - it is hardly worth chewin on the rough grass outside!
Hmm, nice tight connections where the plasticy edgings come together. Even the voles cant sneak between where the stuff connects. I approve of that!
I decided to see how the last work compared to the first work. I know how Big Things sometimes start to slack off as projects go along, ya know? Well, I'm pleased to announce that everything at the end is about the same as here where it started.
I guess I'll have to say he did OK...
