 MARLEY:  Its nice of TBT ta put these scratchin mats out on the deck!

Everytime before I come inside, I have ta stop an visit this one.

Thankful Thursday

Today we are thankful fer the scratching posts around out cat trees and platforms!  As you can see, we like ta use them a lot.  TBT says "better them than him".

This one is from the old platform stand he made hisself.  So. being the oldest one, it has gotten the most use.  Hardly anything to claw on there.

This is from the older of the 2 bought cat trees.  It is rather poofed and used up.  

Another bottom post is getting worn out...

We are working on a higher one now, but it takes a bit more effort to get at.

So, TBT bought a BIG roll of 3/8th" sisal rope and plans to renew them...  The top pic has sisal rope on a board TBT screwed onto the post.   He says he will take the board off and just wrap sisal around the post.  In the 2nd pic, he will remove the post and wrap in all new.  He thinks the posts in the 3rd and 4th pics can be "shaved" with scissors.  

So we are thankful for the pleasure the old ones gave us, but we cant wait to get at the new stuff!

 

Thankful Thursday

 LORI:  

1.  I love Laz!  He plays with me.  He is a great Big Brother.  Marley is good to me too, but not as much fun.  

2.  I love TBT!  He lets me nap on him, gives me fur-strokes and scrtitchies (just discovered the delight of "unner-chin" ones).

3.  I arrived here at 3.2 pounds.  A few weeks later, I was 3.4.  But I eat a lot and run around a lot, so I am making muscles fast.  I weighed 4.0 yesterday!  TBT says I am going to be a strong cat when I grow up.  Like Iza.  Apparently, she was a lot like me.

4.  I'm a bit frustrated.  Marley, ayla and Laz get to go outside.  TBT won't let me.  He says I have to wait for my 1st birthday.  I hope that is just a couple Big Moons from now.  I charge at the open door, but TBT's feet are big and block my way.

5.  I have some great toys here.  I love the Springs that The Lady  delivered with me, but wow are there some great different ones here.  And fresh NIP sometimes.  I didn't react to that at first, but I do now.  We all do.  Mousies that rattle are good.  

6.  I'm REALLY good at Turbotrack!  I can beat the ball over the high spot, and I love moving it around the track.  

7.  TBT says "the tunnel" will come out soon.  I don't know what that is, but he says I might love it.  

8.  I follow TBT around during the daytime (when Laz is tired).  I jump on him with all claws (to climb his clothey-furs).  He isn't so fond of that but holds me when I get up enough.  I like it when he holds me on his shoulder.

9.  I love scratchers.

They are so worn out, they make a good nappy-spot.

Easy Like Sunday

MARLEY:  I'm waitin fer TBT ta open the deck door.  I wanna go out.  It will be soon, as we have all had 1st  breakfast an it isnt raining.  But I have a good sunpuddle to sit in...

An the sunpuddle reaches the scratcher box.  That is a comfy place for my head.  And I sniff it.  I can tell everycat has been using it lately.  What can be better than sniffs&sunpuddles together?  Well, OK, I could make a list, but ya know what I mean.  Those are good.

But it is kinna worn out.  TBT made it years ago.  A box with "co-regated" cardboard strips glued in.  It sat around ignored fer years, but has become popular lately.  A box with pieces of boxes in it, MOL!

I dint notice until seeing this pic of me, but I need some brusies and combies.  Fur looks a bit rough.  But thats fer later...  TBT is openin the deck door.

Time ta find some mousies!

LORI:  I been sneakin up on the TV room scratcher.  I use the Ess in The Mews Room.  But Marley an Laz like this one.  

So I kinna lookin at it to see how it werks.

Well it FLAT which seems weerd.  And the big box next to it seems ta be in the way...

MARLEY:  Sometimes it is fun to sit around on different things.  The curved scratcher is one of those things. 

The hammick is right there next ta me.  I love it very much, but sometimes ya just want a differnt shape...

Its My Birfday!

MARLEY:  Welcome to my 6th Birfday Pawty!  We are all prepared, and I am SO excited.

We have our scratchers all out in one convenient place...

We have a couple ladders fer good climbing and for contests later...

There are boxes of various sizes fer kitties of various sizes (or in the case of the big one, more than one kitty)...

LOTS of nice old-fashioned bags...

 We have games and puzzles...

We have lots of toys all sorted by type so ya can easily find yer favrit kind...

And we have many wand toys that TBT will help with as the pawty goes along!

Please enjoy the cat trees...

And then there are foods and drinks!    Ham...

And Drinks (most of which are Nip or Chickie-Broth, but there are a few surprize flavors ya might like too)...

And, finally, there is a Nip Cake that even looks like ME!

You dont have ta dress up, but ya can iffen ya want!

TBT has promised ta keep the 4 litterboxes impeccably clean, there is the HUGE waterbed ta rest on (should hold at least a eleventy of tired kitties), and there are thick folded towels in lots of corners and shelfs for annykitty who wants ta just sit and watch fer a bit.

AND THE PAWTY IS UNDERWAY!  I WILL TRY TO STAY UP MOST OF THE DAY TO GREET MY GUESTS, BUT YOU KNOW THATS NOT LIKELY.  SO IZA AND AYLA WILL BE TAKING TURNS MANAGING FOOD AND DRINKS AND GAMES WHEN I NEED A NAP.

TBT ON THE OTHER PAW, IS GOING TO HAVE TO STAY UP ALMOST ALL DAY TO KEEP THE LITTERBOXES CLEAN AND SOLVE HISSY-FITS AND STUFF...  ~ MARLEY

I thought about this a lot.  My Birfday Wish is that all Shelter Kitties (and other critters) find good homes, that Beins get along better, and that I get good things to eat the rest of my life.  OK, OK, everyone else too.  I do mostly think about what *I* want sometimes, but on my Birfday, I will be generous..

Good news evrykitty!  Megan has  'ported over and has volunteered to woman a BRUSHIE STATION!   Is that good or what?  And we have all kinds, from wire ones to flea combs to soft  brushies!  Just hop up on the dining room table and request yer favrit!

Ooh, I just got de-matted at Megan's Brushie Station, and I feel so GOOD!  TBT did it last week, but Megan does it better.  So now I'm standing at the top of the cat tree and making sure everykitty is happy and enjoying themselves.  ~ MARLEY

Did I mention that TBT cut down some stalks of NIP and left them available?  Careless of me not to...  They are sitting  piled in the bathtub.  And don't worry, it will stay dry...  Just one of the surprises we have prepared fer the pawty...  Feel free to jump in and roll around!

7:30 AM - Observant kitties may have noticed that Scylla got Ayla and Iza into the computer room to share thoughts.  And I am told no mancats are allowed until they come out..  Girlcats, *sigh*....

But meanwhile,  I am arranging the first game of the day.  All who want to can come stand at the bottom of the stairs for a stair-running contest.  First one to the top gets a nip-treat!  Its a 2-direction stairs, so be careful on the turn...  No claws allowed on other cats! 

 Oh wow, the stair run was crowded.  Socks, Chimera, Yin and Yang from Alasandras place got the front positions, and The Island cats wer crowded right behind.  But it turned out that Princess Leia of The Whiskeratti made a great turn halfway up and snuck through an tapped the top of the stairs first.  She wins 5 treats!  But everykitty gets one treat fer pawticipating and running so fast.  It was a real crowd at the top step!!!     There may have been one first, but it was so close that nokitty was last.  Well done ALL!

 9:00 AM - The Punapipurri have arrived en masse!  Guard your food everykitty, they are hungry!  But don't worry too much; TBT has brought out another ham and is tossing bits to them. an he weilds a knife like we do claws.  Still, ya might want ta protect what ya have unnerpaw...  An they are going after the bags and boxes.  What a group!

I think it is time to have TBT open the deck door.  It is one of the 2 shady times.  So lets all go out there while it is still cool.  See the flowers?  

 Dont eat them, of course.  Some are weerd-tasting.

Hey, my good mancat  Ducky just ported in, and we think the jumping contests might be over before they start.  That mancat can JUMP.  But ya never know, others can jump too.   Ayla might have something ta show about that.  She is suggesting a roof jump and she is the original "levitation girl'...  Uh Oh!

The ladder race will start in an hour...   The roof jump challenge later... 

 Well,  let's start with the "floor to top of cat tree to top of bookcase!  Anyone can try and each gets 3 practice jumps.  This could take a while; evrycat thinks they are jumpers...

*I* think it is time for a nap during the practices....  Iza will take over.


IZA:  1 PM:  Well, we all sure had a good time out on the deck in the shade (and some of the more outdoorsy kittehs a bit off the deck).  A good thing the entire back yard is enclosed with a fence so nokitty got confoosed...  Cause there are sure a few fence-climbers among us!

And some of those jumpers had a good long look at the distance from the deck rail ta the roof.  There were some "no ways" but also some tail-waggles as some gave it some butt-muscle-thought.

But the shade is gone fer a few hours so we are back inside.   TBT brought out a new ham an that went over pretty good.  So did the kibble-toss game.  Who doesn't love chasing something bouncy and skittery that also tastes good?

I see that Marley is up and around again, going among the guests and tapping paws and butting heads.  So its MY turn ta nap fer a while.  Ayla, too, I think.  Back ta YOU Birfday-Boy!!!

MARLEY:  3 PM...  Well, THAT sure was a good nap!  I was nearly covered by friends also napping and who doesnt like THAT?  Then I went around ta see who else had joined the pawty.  Pretinha and Friends, Pipo and Minko, Terri's Crew, the Swiss Cats, Gidget, and a few I haven't sniffed yet...  And a few 'ported in and left while I was napping...

I see some of the jumpers are practicing on the inside ladder.  Its almost the same distance as from the deck rail to the roof.  So far only Ayla has made it to the top in one leap, though some others have gotten REAL close.  We'll see what happens later when the shade comes back to the deck!

For now, its TOY TIME!  Chirpie Chicken and Quacky Duck have been getting a lot of attention.  And the sound of the 3 ping-pong balls being batted around in the new baftub is nearly  constant; theres a line waiting fer turns there!

The line at Megans Brushie Station is constant too.  I think a lot of my guests dont actually Need brushies, but she is very good at it, so everykitty wants a turn annyway.

Im headed for some live dead shrimps myself...   

5 PM - Well, the time fer the roof jump has arrived!  So far, 5 kitties (all of whom have requested their names not be mentioned fer reasons which will shortly be clear) have gotten up on the deck rail fer a final look at the jump.  All waggled their butts good trying ta get a feel fer the leap.  A couple  even stood up on their hind legs trying ta make the distance seem shorter.  None made a leap...

Then out came Ayla.  She made a waggle and hesitated, but I gave her an encouraging "chin up".  She jumped...  AND SHE IS UP!!!

 

The apaws from the other kitties on the deck is deafening.  She did request a ladder from TBT to get back down though.

8 PM - Well, its getting dark, an thats when the Owls come out (mostly), so we are all back inside again,  I smell SHRIMPS inside, so that's a good reason ta come in annyway!  I think it time fer TBT ta bring out the WAND TOYS!  Do I hear "meows of approval"?  (meow, meow, MEOW, meow, , meow, Meow, mew, miow,)

Alright!  First comes the fevvery one.  It loops, it floats, it dodges, but everykitty gets a good whap at it fer about 5 minnits!  And OH, here comes the Weerd White Squid...  Grab those yarny tentacles and bite them!  It jumps up suddenly and flutters down to try to escape along the floor.  Dont let it get unner the table.  It can sneak around the chair legs like ya wouldn't belief!!!  

And OMC, there are rattly mousie running all over the place at the same time.  Quick, grab those an drop them in the baftub so we can play with them later as they run around the ping-pong balls!

Whew, that was exhausting!  Lets go find some foods and drinks an just lay around a while...    I know *I* need a break an I see lots of panting kitties... 

Lets get at those shrimps!  And I think it is time fer Niptinis...

10 PM - It looks like time to cut the Marley Cake...  We kitties are all worn out and some Nip cake would get us all going again.  As none of us can handle a knife (and just shoving our faces into the cake would be unseemly), TBT will do the honors.  

Now I've seen Beins cut cake before but THEIR portions of supersugars (their Nip) are too large for us.  So TBT is cutting it into  little 1" cubes .  Which is a good thing because there are so many of us here.  And we want ta save some for later guests and fer us tomorrow!  MOL!

Let the Nip put the Zip in yer Lip...

Midnight!  Well, this has sure been a great pawty thanks to all my friends!  It is about slowed down now.  We had great fun, played with  toys and wands, ate our fill of great foods and drank some neat drinks (that chickie broth and nip cream smoothie was The BEST)!  

There are still about a dozen friends layin around on the waterybed.  TBT says he will slide carefully in between them, because quite frankly, he is about as worn out as we are.  

Iffen you are missing a cat or two, they are here on the bed.  *I* don't plan ta disturb them.  They will find their way to the teleporting tunnel in the Living Room when they wake up and realize they are not at home.

Thank you all fer the best Birfday pawty I EVER had...  We and TBT will probly sleep eleventy-ten hours, but when we wake up we will thank everyone purrsonally...

MARLEY:

We have ta change our planned posts a bit.  First, we were expecting the "Petcakes" right out of the box, but they need to be prepared and cooked.  Not a problem fer TBT since he seems ta cook a lot of stuffs, but he wasnt ready fer that just before bedtime.  So he will do that in a couple days.

*I* was expecting to review the fish-shaped scratcher, but TBT decided we have some others ta use up first.  So he will set this one aside fer a week.  But dont worry, we use up scratchers pretty fast.  "Iza The Ripper" is best at it by far.  I use them generally.  Ayla likes sisal rope posts.

There are 2 chewy sticks I wanted ta play with (lower right).

But they seem to have disappeared.  At the daily fambly meeting, we all pointed paws at Iza as the likely sneak, but she is acting all innicent (much more beleefable than usual), so Ayla and I are eyeing each other, and I know *I* didnt grab them.  One thing we are pretty sure of is that TBT dint eat them.  He doesnt even like Slim Jims.

He did eat a couple of our kibbles once just to see what they were like...  But we are all sure it was one of us.  We have even gone so far as the sniff each other's butts for clues.  But since only ONE of us knows what they taste like,  the two innicent ones of us arent sure what ta sniff FOR and the guilty party isnt telling.

So we will post a picture of the packing material that we have been scatterring around...

Its really fun.  TBT says we CAN cuz it is really easy ta sweep up.  And then he will compost it.

Tomorrow, we will post about the 2 pouches of treats.  At least we KNOW we will get THOSE and can mention the 3 "T"s (Taste, Texture, and Tquantity)!

AYLA:  There was lots of other good stuff in the box from [Corrected to: Purr*Packs].  Marley and I are very innerested in those "petcakes", but the TBT won't open them til morning to go with breakfast.

Marley says he wants to post about the scratcher Sunday after a good testing.

Apparently, TBT is gonna make us wait so we get one or two new things each day instead of all at once...There isnt annything we can do about THAT cuz he has everything back in the box and set the dreaded suckie machine on it!

PARTY TIME!

This is our 2,500th post!

Well, its the BLOG's 2,500th post, we weren't here at the start of it (OK, TBT was, but its not HIS blog).  So we decided it was a darn good excuse fer a pawty and TBT agreed.  We got lots of fun stuff ta do...

We have SCRATCHERS!

We have LADDERS ta climb!

We have BOXES!

We have BAGS!

We have GAMES!

We have TOYS!  Each sorted out in matching bins by type (are we organized or what).  From back left ta right front, thats rattley mousies, balls, stuffed stuff, non-rattley mousies, milk jug rings an assorted plasticy things, and fevvry/yarny things...

We have WAND TOYS!

There are also the 3 cat trees, stairways and hallways ta run, and the big waterbed fer bouncin on or nappin on.

One of the highlights of the day (to be repeated 3 times) will be the treat toss.  Picture a dozen or so of us kitties in the living room with the bare wood floors.  TBT takes a whole HANDFUL of treats and tosses them into the room ta scatter around.  We all get ta immediately charge around eating as many as we can find!

The TV will have Cat-sitter CDs running continuously, for those times ya want ta rest a few minutes but still see something interestin.  And the birdfeeder has been filled.  Ya can expect ta see cardinals, doves, purple finches, goldfinches, sparrows,  titmouses, wrens, nuthatches, blue jays, and (sometimes) a woodpecker!  Sometimes squirrels too, but ya have ta be able ta jump up to a high windersill ta see them on the ground below the birdfeeder ta see them from inside.

And of course there will be foods (ham, shrimpses, an chick-hen) and drinks (meowgrritas, niptinis, an toonapolitans - plus milk an toona-flavored water fer anny kittens), and NIP (fresh an dried).  We figure ya know what all that stuff looks like, so we didn't put up pictures of them.

There will be a brushie station too, 3 kinds of brushies, you take yer pick.  TBT will manage that up on the dining room table.  You hop up, he'll be there.  Yes, he CAN be it many places at once! As far as WE can tell (an we have some years of esperience).  Not saying annythin, but there MAY actually be 2 or 3 of him.  He/they sure surprises US sometimes.  Mebbe he just walks around fast a lot.  But same thing we guess.

Naturally, there will be plenty of (constantly-cleaned) litter boxes.  And (we think) a BRAND-NEW SERVICE ; a Bomitarium (a fresh unused litter box for those awkward moments when ya have had a bit too much ta eat or gotten over-ecited by all the pawtying).  It will be placed in the Human Litterbox Room and "What happens in Las Bomitorium, stays in Las Bomitorium", as they say.  Its a kindness to TBT who will be far too busy tossing toys, filling food bowls, cleaning litterboxes, helping kitties down from the tops of the bookcases, etc to notice small problems like that.  Plus, we are all gonna be runnin around so much WE might even step in it, an it would take precious pawty time away iffen we had ta stop an lick our paws clean!

We were hopin fer good weather fer an outdoors mousie hunt, but the cold windies arrived last night and seem to be stayin all day.  So this pawty will be strictly indoors as far as PLANNED activities go (iffen ya wanna go outside annyway, its OK an safe cuz of the tall fence that is woofie an vishus deer proof, but even a Scandinavian kitty might not like cold 40 mph/60 kph winds).

Guests can arrive in all the usual ways - through the tunnel, the cube, the TV (yes, we've seen that happen), or anny other way ya are used to [surprise us with a different way YOU teleport...]!

Updates about the guests and activities will be made as the pawty progresses.  

Now, LET THE PAWTY BEGIN!

UPDATE:  Wow, only 7:15 and the place is HOPPIN wif about 20 kitties!  Ayla is facing some stiff climbin competition from the Burmese sisters of Punapipurri, and the Fuzzy Tales (Nicki an Derry) are here too.

Hey Brian is here now...  Yay! 

Hey, Scylla and Socks are here now!  Scylla, just hop up on the table an TBT will start brushing you (brush, brush, brush - we hope he is doing it OK).  And Socks, we have it on the BEST authority (yer Mom) that you have to be VERY careful about what ya eat here.  You KNOW what is allowed, so please stick to that...  And have as MUCH of what is allowed as ya want, of course!

OK, now we are gettin busy.  There is a Queen Of The Hill game goin on at the cat trees AND a THOE game down the hallway...   We are gonna wach the Queen of the Hill game an LISTEN to the THoE race. 

Oh and here comes the "Sometimes Cats Herd You" clowder.    Hey all, try the ham, and then go fer the rattley-mouse toys!

10:30 AM and Milo an Alfie have arrived. Welcome guys!  Get some good foods while ya watch the other kitties run around afore ya decide what ya want ta do first.  An speakin of runnin, Flynn has just challenged the Punipipurri ninjas to a ladder-climbin competition.  We think we have an idea how that will werk out... Flynn has good climbing skills, but young ninjas are tough ta beat...

We'll report on THAT later.  

Meanwhile, the Brushie table is quite popular.  We dint guess at that at first (we dont like brushies all that much, but the line is long.  Some are goin fer the regular brush, but the Zoom Groom seems rather popular.  Mebbe we been missin out on somethin...

11:15 AM  Update:  Oh hey evryone, look who just showed up!  The Manx Mews are here.   Welcomes to Ping, Gracie, Jinx, and Boo, please help yerselfs ta some foods an drinks and get a feel fer how the pawty is goin.  Do ya have a favrite kinna toy (ya saw the selections way up at the start of the post right?), or do ya wanna wait fer the Wand toy event coming up soon?

11:30 AM - Cool, Nerissa says she is "revvin up the eggbeaters" an on her way here.  Um, whats an eggbeater?  Well, as long as she's coming to join us...   And we are thinking it will be time fer some major food presentation by TBT about Noon.

12;15 PM   OK, HERE COMES THE SHRIMPSES!  Gather around, gather round...  Whole PLATES of them, enough fer all!  They is a few chopped up, a few left whole in each little bowl, an nokitty will miss out...  WE LOVE SHRIMPES!!!

OK, jump on them!

1 PM -  First, the results of the ladder climb are official.  FLYNN WON,  By leaps.  Really,  his mighty initial leap left the ninjas a bit flommuxed.  Flynn was on the top step when the Punapipuri twins were on the 3rd.  Flynn gets a fresh NIP leaf!  We KNOW that they will get better at this game.  Meanwhile, dont annyone bother Flynn as he enjoys his Nip Leaf at the top of the ladder.

But we cant ignore the stairway-running contest either.  Nerissa and Ping came to a whisker-finish an we are awarding BOTH a Nip Leaf as prizes.  It COULD have been a photo-finish, but TBT was putting out more food (cant exacly complain about that) and he wasnt camera-ready.

2 PM Update - Hey mancats, better groom yerselfs good, Sparkle has arrived at the pawty!   And ya can bet she is lookin ta see smoothed furs and graceful walks!   So try not ta trip on yer toes, MOL!

Seriously, welcome ta the pawty Sparkle!  There is foods an drinks on the right and games on the left.  We are delighted that you could join us.  Iffen ya want to play in the danger zone, there are ladders and cat trees behind where ya came in.  Watch out fer the THoE in the hallway.  The good news is that ya dont have to pose.  TBTs flashy box is BURIED an we wont tell him WHERE today. An HI Binga!  Say hello to Iza over there, bet you have some things alike.

Marley here:  Flynn, dear friend, the day is overcast and raw.  The mousies won't be expecting us!  Hey evrykitty, annyone who wants ta go outside and hunt the mousies in this blowy weather, collect by the deck door!  TBT says we can go out since it isn't dark yet.

 2:30 PM, WOW the place is jumpin!  An good thing TBT put out that Bomitarium box.  Its been used um, twice.  Not sayin I was involved...  ~ Iza

Ayla ~ Must be 30 kitties here at the moment.  One paw, 2, 3, 4, and a few extras.  Yeah, TBT says thats about 30.  The catsitter CD is a hit.  I'd say about two paws of cats are chillaxin watchin it.  And a few agile ones are up on my high windersill.  Which vaguely bothers me, but I wont worry about THAT today.  It'll be MINE again later.

Which reminds me, TBT said I should invent a game, an I thought of one.   Who can jump to the top shelf of TBT's shoe rack from the floor?  It isnt easy, so dont go bragging about it iffen ya dont.  I mean... I mean Marley can jump there from the bed, but can ya jump up there from the floor?  I wanna meet my kinna jump-mates!

 3 PM An welcome ta the Florida Furkids! Welcome friends and "whats yer pleasure"?   Can we innerest you all in some Nip?  Rattle mousies?  Or just look around an decide what ya like.  TBT is here ta serve ya, or ya can ignore him (we do sometimes).  Either is OK, just enjoy the day...

3:30 PM, Oh hey, welcome Shaggy and Scout  with a little exra Zolie on the side!  Pawshakes to you all fer coming.  Yer just in time fer the treat spread...

Ok here's the deal.  We are all in the big bare wood floor living room.  TBT will have a great  BIG heaping handful of various treats.  He will toss it along the floor ta spread them out all over.  

Go fer them!  Cuz we will. An, jus in case, of course, remember where the Bomitorium is...  First room on the right down the hallway...

 4 PM - Time fer some serious wand toy time!  TBT is holdin 2 in each hand an flippin those rascally fevvers/clothies/ratllers around all around the living room.  

Catch them iffen ya can, he dont make it easy!  (a werd ta the wise though, he doesn't make it impossible either).  An he will switch them around (we have 9).  The last one will be a nekko fly.  Dont tell evryone, its a surprise... 

4:30 PM - Kjelle Bus and Mariodacat have slipped in through the tunnel!  Evryone welcome them.  Kjelle Bus says she is quite a good ladder climber, so mebbe Flynn an the ninjas have some competition here.   And Mariodacat is big on gettin into the paper bags!

Things are gonna get innerestin! 

4:45 PM - Got ta say TBT declared ALL going after the wand toys earlier ta be "expert".  He couldnt darn keep ANNY off the floor with you.  Which he assumes won't surprise anny of you. 

5PM - DINNERTIME!!! Come an get it!  Shrimpses. an Nip!

6 PM - We're havin another  treat toss!  Shaggy got the most on that try, but no one lost cuz evrykitty got SOME!  

8 PM - Oops, did we fail ta post that last update?  We MUST remember ta remind TBT that typing is NOT the same thing as posting.  Annyway, Megan has dropped by and is taking over the brushie table (since that turned into a full-time effort).  Not much liking brushies ourselfs, we had no idea how popular that would be!   TBT seems ta appreciate the help.   Ya should have seen a couple of cats pushin her through our tunnel though...   It might be a bit broked.

 8:30 (yeah still PM, MOL! ) - Derby and Ducky, Redsetter, and the Island Cats have come by an have thown themselfs into the THoE games.  I t does seem they have a talent for it...  The whole crew from Jan's Funny Farm is here too.  They seem ta like the boxes a lot. 

9 PM - Wow, we gotta rethink this "brushies" bizness.  EVRYKITTY is linin up fer brushies at the dining table.  Mebbe we're missin out on somethin.     BTW, Prancer Pie and her group have been really holding the dance floor down all afterlunch.. Or is that "up".  We're not sure...  Oh cool, Derby has velcro pawboots and can walk (sort of ) on our stipple ceiling!  TBT tried ta take a picture, but it made him dizzy.

10 PM - Marley here - TBT has more ham and shrimpses on the way.  We are all pretty pooped after more than 14 hours of partying.

Thats odd, Spitty just walked out of the game room.  I dint know he was here.  Hey Spitty!  And here comes Iza too.  What a coinc, ummm...

11 PM (and we think final) UPDATE!  We were so glad to see the whole Katnip Lounge group show up!  It was SO funny ta see a long line of cats keep comin out of that short tube tunnel.  Like it was some sort of clown car, MOL!  But it sure livened things up again when they arrived; they are a travelling party of their own.  

We had a great time with the wand toys, and some of them are great jumpers and sat up on all the steps of the ladders and the cubbyholes and platforms of our cat trees.   TBT enjoyed carryin around bowls of the table foods ta evrybody...
