OK, This is highly irregular, but as LC and Skeeter both pointed out to me, they want to know more about me sometimes... I also suspect they both want to just put me "on the spot" so to speak. I considered just thanking them and ignoring the meme, but I can never not indulge them.
Actually, I suspect they won't understand some of the answers, but here goes... LOL!
THE BIG THING (To Skeeter and LC):
A. What were you doing 10 years ago?
Getting up every morning too early while you slept like sweet dears, to leave the cave to make money to keep you in food, shelter, and kitty litter.
Returning to the cave to feed you first, play with you, and make your lives as good as possible.
Building a great big fence to keep you safe from the big wandering woofies.
Building a pond for you to play in and around, and to attract things you would enjoy watching.
Walking around with you outside so you felt safe and could run around and explore all you wanted without fear.
Trying to help you forget the “Scary Weeks” in the pet store kitten cages by oferring you my attention, security, and love.
Thinking about you when I was away from the cave and sometimes calling the cave so you could hear my voice through the answering machine.
Handling you, though it made you unhappy sometimes, so I could make sure no fleas, ticks, and mites were bothering you.
Cleaning up your occassional barf, and missed litter box “stuff”.
Holding you when the horrible loud noises happened outside.
Letting Skeeter sleep on my lap even when my legs went numb. Stretching to scritch LC even though she likes to sit “barely” in reach.
Etc.
B. What were you doing 1 year ago?
Much the same, but I retired and could stay home all the time. You loved that then. Now you can hardly remember when I was NOT always there every day.
Watching you each get older.
Watching Skeeter sleep more and LC no longer able to “jump the fence”.
Thinking about “The Rainbow Bridge”. And remembering “The-Cats-Who-Went-Before” with love and sadness. And knowing you will cross the Bridge some day.
C. Five snacks you enjoy.
1. Slow smoked meats.
2. Raw veggies.
3. Fresh fruit.
4. Tomato juice.
5. Wine and gatorade.
D. Five songs to which you know all the lyrics
1. Inna-Da-Gadda-da-Vida (the instrument parts). ;)

E. Five things you would do if you were a millionaire
1. Buy a large 1 story cave for us.
2. Put it on 5 acres of enclosed 10’ high fence.
3. Have several ponds for LC.
4. Drink better wine and beer.
5. Get them a V-E-T who made house calls.
F. Five bad habits
1. Making Skeeter get off my lap when my legs get numb.
2. Make them wait for 5 pm for dinner every night.
3. Making them come in at night when they want to chase moths.
4. Tossing and turning in bed so much that it disturbs their sleep.
5. Ignoring them when I am on the computer.
G. Five things you like doing
1. Stroking Skeeter while he is on my lap.
2. Giving LC chin scritichies.
3. Watching them eat.
4. Watching them play together.
5. Cleaning the litter boxes. Yes, a deal is a deal. Skeeter and LC agree to use them; I’ll happily clean them. It is the major agreement that allows us to share the cave! And thank goodness for scoopable litter!

1. A suit.

Enjoyin playing with LC, pouncin Tinkerbelle, sleepin under the blankies with The Big Thing, sleepin on his lap, huntin mousies, calling to Tinkerbelle and LC to come back inside the fence, playin tag with Cher, tusslin with Jeremy The Winter Kitty, an waitin for dinner.
B. What were you doing 1 year ago?
Missin Cher and Jeremy and Tinkerbelle (I remember the other kitties much better than LC does – when I mention them, she is sometimes like “who?”). I have always been so grateful to The Big Thing for rescuin me from The Horrible Noisey Dusty Kitty Place, that I never minded a few others kitties around. I always got most of the attention anyway.
Aside from that, playin with LC, sleepin on The Big Thing’s lap, and waitin for dinner…

A. What were you doing 10 years ago?
That’s um, “all my front toes years ago" or a gazillion Big Moons ago. That’s hard to ’member! Well, I hadda be here with The Big Thing, cause I’ve never been anywhere else except inna cage as a kitten and some vague idea of bein with my Momma once.
So, I was an grown-up kitty then. That is about the time The Big Thing built the first pond, and I loved it. I learned to hunt froggies and try to catch the little fishies. Tinkerbelle was still around then, and she taught me how to get over the new fence by sneaking up a small tree way in the backyard that leaned near the top of the fence! We couldn't get back over it though, so we had to go to the scary front yard and wait to get back inside. Tinkerbelle had waited at the front lotsa times before the fence, so she wasn't worried and I allas felt safe with her there.
B. What were you doing 1 year ago?
Same thing I’m doin now! Hating the real hot weather, hunting frogs, sleepin next to Skeeter, gettin chin scritches, and waitin for dinner.
What I WASN’T doing a year ago was BLOGGIN! So my whole world was the cave and the big back yard, Skeeter, and The Big Thing.
