AYLA:  Ay where up off the floor or deck us good.  I like this place.

Its te cover on the smelly-good cooker thing.  TBT cooks HUGE hunks of meat in it and it gets real hot.  But when the black cover is on, it is safe.  Safe, flat an warmish but not hot.

One of the places where TBT can call my name an I look at him so he gets a picture of my face in fact...

Notice that my whiskers are all straight.  They are usually twisty.  TBT says it is because I sleep all curled ad they bend.  I say they straighten all normall in the warm of te Summer.

An they are MY whiskers.  So who ya gonna belief?  Him or ME?

AYLA:  I love sitting up on the shelf in front of the smoker.  Well, when it is not being used, of course...

This shows me off better.  Next to bloo, black is a good background color for me.

TBT says he is going to scrape it with an, um, "big wire toothbrush" and paint it with some fireplace paint.  It seems pretty sturdy ta ME, but he says that will make it last longer.  

I've been clawing the corners of the shelf (the other corner is nearly round now) so I expected he would replace it.  But he says that doesn't cause him anny problems so I can just continue.  He says he likes the effect. 

I appreciate not having to start all over again.  Good Old Dad...
