Questins/Comments From Previous Posts...

We decided to catch up on answerin some questions left in the recent comments to our posts.

1. From The Sunday December 30 ‘Cat Food Review’ –

* The Meezers wrote: “HEY! If we send you some wegmans HAM stinky goodness would you review it?”

We would love to review the wegman’s HAM flavor if ya wanna send us a can.

* Scobby, Shaggy, and Scout wrote: “That Fancy Feast is one of our favorites! We thought FF was in all the stores.”

Fancy Feast is available in most stores around here. The Big Thing just doesn’t recall seein ‘Turkey Feast in Gravy’.

* Darling Millie wrote: “Mom is wondering just how you are able to communicate all that information about the stinky goodness to your Big Thing for him to include in your blog.

We do our own typin (an somma our own picture-takin). The Big Thing has better skill with Bein language than we do an wouldn’t type like that. That’s our storey an were stickin to it!

2. From the Saturday December 29 ‘PhotoHunt – Messy’ -

* Daisymae Maus wrote: “Mom is furry jealous of that tool bench. She has a pair of ancient saw horses an' a set of plastic clamps. When she wants to play "tools," she has to put her saw an' stuff back into their plastic crate in the shed. Sigh.”

The Big Thing says he may post better pictures of the tool room. The whole basement is fulla tools stuff. But he wansta clean it up first. An that bench is a old throw-together thing he wants to replace wif a REAL built bench. We haf taught him not ta leave tempting piles of sawdust around though (heh-heh-heh).

* Leah wrote: “That sure is messy. But i'm sure the worker can find excatly what he wants when he want to work on something.”

Better than we would think. But sometimes he has to search a lot or give up an find somethin else ta use. Or jus wait til a picture forms in his mind about where the thingie is.

3. From December 28 ‘Friday’s Feast’

* Daisymae Maus wrote: “I like Bucky, too ... but Satchel is funnier ... or maybe Manx McManx.”

We like Bucky lots. We don’t allus understand Satchel (but think he is a fery nice woofie), and we don’t unnestand Manz McManx AT ALL (but The Big Thing claims to an thinks he is ‘ilarious). He tried to ‘splain McManx to us once an we jus had to stop him!

Cat Food Review

Ladycats and Mancats, we are stunned to say this, but we have a 5 Paws up food AND WE DON'T HAVE A PICTURE OF IT! It is gone into the recycling world and we are gonna bite The Big Thing's toesies for that! It was sent to us by our Secret Paw Merlin and we can't find it here locally. It is:

Fancy Feast - Turkey Feast in Gravy

Top 2 ingredients: Turkey Broth and Turkey
Toothiness: Chunks!!!
Yum: 4 Paws
Oils: Lots - 4 Paws
Premixed: No mixing required - Ready to scoop! 4 Paws
Sauce: Gravy
Smell: Great - 4 Paws
Total Paws Up: 5 Paws

Quotes: LC: "OMG!" and Skeeter: "Lemme have more"

The "chunks" got it "just barely" over the 4 paw measurement (its a rounding thing)! We would have to have a real (perfectly) roasted turkey, IN real gravy, AND with real turkey fat to exceed this... Not that we didn't get that a couple years ago, but we are rating canned food here. We mean, a meal can get to like a possible 8 meaning we both fall over 4 paws up (creamed ham with lobster, treats, and butter with nip sprinkles?), but this is the best canned food we efer got!

An no picture! We're embarrassed! But the review stands.

Us on our Gizzies!

LC: Skeeter remains obsessively camara-shy but we did get 2 pics!

I've been modelling on them before, but here's another picture.

PhotoHunt - Messy

MESSY

Well, we hadda look aroun fer a while to find anything really messy in the cave. Things have been oddly clean an organized lately. But we found a spot! The Big Thing's tool bench is MESSY!

Friday's Feast

Appetizer
Name 2 things you would like to accomplish in 2008.

1. LC: Catch a squirrel.
2. Skeeter: Learn how to open the treat pouches myself.

Soup
With which cartoon character do you share personality traits?

Skeeter: Garfield. He sleeps all day and loves to eat!

Salad
What time of day (or night) were you born?

You’re kidding. We were both born blind (we’re kitties) and didn’t even see a window for weeks.

Main Course
Tell us something special about your hometown.

Small, quiet, safe, enclosed by a tall fence.

Dessert
If you could receive a letter from anyone in the world, who would you want to get one from?

Maybe Bucky the Cat (from the comic strip “Get Fuzzy”). Or maybe the cats from “The Mows. But mostly from Tinkerbelle, The-Cat-Who-Came-Before. We would like to know what happened to her and what it is REALLY like on her side of the Rainbow Bridge.

More Kitty Cards!

We want to show the other cards we got from our friends after the Thurday 13 post. They were lovely cards an we were SO 'xcited to get them!

They were from:

Skeezix, Mao, Rocky, and Trip. And EVEN from the Food Lady and Mr. Tastey Face!

Mouse and Lizard. And Gretchen and Mike. With a real nice poem in the card about "getting along together".

Sanjee, Boni Maroni, Mini, Gree, Pepi, and Mom Robyn

Angus Mhor (and Chrissy)

We loved all the cards so much, an we had them on our VERY OWN CARD TABLE that The Big Thing left fer jus us; here is a picture of them all!

It was so nice to get EACH AND EVERY CARD from our friends. And we know we didn't exchange addresses wit some of our friends. It was a new idea to us this year, so we weren't all organized about it.

All these cards were so THRILLIN to us, and we wanned to thank each an efrey kitty who sent them!

Our Night Before Chrissy Mouse

It was the Night before Christmas, and all through the house not a creature was stirring. We’d eaten the mouse. We’d torn off the wrapping from our prezzies; the ribbons were rare. We’d scattered them to the far corners of the room.. And we hid to see Chrissy Mouse, soon to appear. We were REAL innerested in that. A REAL mouse was a very desirable thing… We looked at a lot of places to hide an wait. Some were innerestin, but, ya know, we weren’t sure just where he would show up, so it was tricky.

The Big Thing was snoring, all snuggled in bed, while visions of sugar plums danced in his head. So we knew that he wouldn’t be wakin up as we lay hid. We finally decided that pertendin to nap on our new Gizzies might be the best trick.

Then on the roof there arose such a clatter that we almost bolted fer unner the bed. That kinna noise is scary. It usually meas big trees branches fallin onna roof, an ya never know if the whole tree is coming down nex, right? But we stayed in place.

The Big Thing got up to see what was the matter. He tore open the shutters an threw up the sash. But he couldn’t see any serious problem a went back to his silly suger-plum dreams…

We looked out the window an the new-fallen snow gave the luster of mid-day to the objects below. We hoped the stupid light wouldn’t give away our hidey spots! Finally, to our wondering eyes, there appeared a miniature sleigh and some 8 tiny reindeer landing on the deck. We were amazed, we hadn’t efen thought about 8 miniature reindeer to add to the loot! We looked at each ofer and had the same thought “What do TINY REINDEER taste like?

And then, in a twinkling, we heard on the deck the the prancing and pawing of each little hoof. LC whispered “Oh this is gonna be SO great! Maybe we can stash the reindeer unner the stairs fer later”. I whispered back “maybe there will be treats in Chrissy Mouses’s bag”.

Then Old Chrissy Mouse appeared in the room, he seemed to have no recognition of doom! But as we tried to set into pounce-mode we found ourselves frozen in place, Chrissy Mouse turned aroun wif a grin on his face. “Do ya think yer the first cats to try this slick trick. Did ya really belief ya could pounce on St Nick? I’ve been doing this longer than ten cats like you, and I’ll do fer 10 kitties later you two”!

Well, we figured our hopes of eatin Chrisy Mouse were doomed, an it didn’t look too good fer our chances at the tiny reindeer either. Still, we hadda laugh at him in spite of ourselfs. He had a broad face and a little round belly, that shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly. He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old mouse, we really did have to smile at him.

We admired the way he did his job. He went straight to his work, He filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk. Laying a finger aside of his nose he went from inna house right out to his sleigh onna deck. Wow, we sure can’t do THAT!

From the front of his sleigh to his team he gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle. It was all quite amazing and remarkable! But we heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Well, the instant he was out of sight, we were immediately free to move again. We were kinna disappointed at not getting him OR those 8 tastey-lookin tiny reindeer, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Ya try ta catch somethin ta eat and ya fail most of the time…

We went an curled up near The Big Thing. LC came runnin in early Chrissy Mouse Morning. She was all ‘xcited. “Skeeter, there are prezzies for us unner the tree. I saw our names on them”. We thought that was kinna strange. They weren’t there las night, an The Big Thing had been zonked all night before Chrissy Mouse arrived. We bof went an looked. Yeah, there was our names alright on some little boxes in strange paper.

We thought about it fer a few minutes an decied maybe we better not mess wif em until The Big Thing woke up. They were addressed “To Skeeter an LC: From Sandy Paws”…

OK, some things ya decide not ta mess wif. Nex year we are puttin out cheese fer Chrissy Mouse and sleepin unner the bed, ya know. We’re not sure what tiny reindeer like as treats, but we’ll ask Mrs. Squirrel. Maybe she knows, an we promised her a no-chase truce fer Winter, so maybe she’ll tell us.

Merry Chrissy Mouse to all an to all, a good nap!

OUR SECRET PAW PACKAGE CAME TODAY!

LC:

Oh we were SO thrilled.

Skeeter checked it out first. He is protective that way. He sniffed the package over carefully. We knew it was fer us cause The Big Thing put it onna floor. Well, OK not efrything on the floor is fer us, like his newspapers, but we know anything put onna floor MIGHT be fer us (especially when it is set carefully inna middle of the floor)

So Skeeter sniffed it all over carefully first. I was sittin inna hallway watchin. I efen do that when food is put down. I watch Skeeter to see if it is OK then I come and eat if he does.

He liked the package, so The Big Thing openened it all up an took the stuff outta it an put it all down onna floor...

He checked all the individual stuff carefully and called to me that it was PREZZIES. Our Secret Paw was MERLIN

So The Big Thing loosened a few of the toys from their holdin boards. Skeeter knocked a couple around an a few toward me, them I came ofer to get a closer look!

Cool! fevvery toys, pompoms. little hard slidey things, a nip mouse, a can of good treatfood, some temptations, and a cool card that opens on the front an back instead of the inside. We thought that was a REALLY neat idea!

I liked the catnip mousie an the strangely colored pompoms, but The Big Thing said we should save those fer next week....

Skeeter was more innerested in the temptations, but he likes the fevvery things too. So we played wif those all eefnin!

Thanks so MUCH Merlin! We are gonna haf the Fancy Feast 'Turkey Feast in Gravy' fer our Chrissy Mouse breakfast! An The Big Thing says he will put onna the fevver-butt toys on a string to make it dance ofer our heads like a birdie! That will be SO COOL! We love pawin at fevvery things jus above our heads!

Opened Our Gizzy Quilt Package!

LC: The Big Thing was gonna make us wait til Chrissy Mouse Day, but he relented. We think he wanned to see them, too. ;)

Well, we were sure 'xcited! First out of the package was Skeeter's. Its a lot of green tomatoes, an they sure show of his orange fur great. The foldover is the back, all tomatoes. The front has neat butterflies and stuff on it.

Isn't this a BOOTIFUL quilt?

And then Skeeter is looking it all ofer so proud! oh, see that litle plant on the side? That's our Nip planty stugglin through the Winter.

Then it was my turn.

Here's the picture of it all in red tomatoes to show me off an all unwalked on.

And then me on it!

We are both jus so discombobly happy wif them! We mean, we could always sit wif The Big Thing before on his stuff anywhere, but now we gots SPECIAL things alla our OWN to sit on. They are gonna be moved to our FAVORITE places wher The Big Thing doesn't sit.

Isn't it just SO lovely?

A "Retirement" List

This isn't our normal stuff, and not pertainin to us (much), but The Big Thing sent this to his Bein friends an it was kinna funny. So we decided yer Beins might find it amuzin too. He made it up hisself. Keep in mind its a "Bein" kinna thing (we dont efen "get" most of it)...

YOU KNOW YOU ARE RETIRED WHEN…

1. You wake up at 8 a.m. and think it’s “early”.

2. You get an HDTV because daytime television is “actually pretty good”.

3. You want to replace the wall clock with something that just says which day it is.

4. You still don’t have enough time to do all the things you want.

5. Weekends are annoying because “there are all these people at the stores”.

6. You spend 2 hours eating lunch while reading the newspaper.

7. You get your mail 1 minute after it is delivered because you recognize the sound of the vehicle’s brakes.

8. You actually know WHO delivers the mail.

9. You are amazed to notice how EARLY kids get out of school!

10. You decide you need to subscribe to more magazines.

11. You look at the laundry hamper and wonder if there is enough for a full load yet.

12. You wash the car once a week.

13. AND vacuum it.

14. You decide that Federal workers “get too many days off”.

15. You won’t drive anyplace that is as far as the commute you used to do every work day.

16. You forget what “work days” are.

17. You wonder what “those poor saps” at the old office are up to.

18. You send them emails asking about that.

19. You actually write “letters to the editor”.

20. You actually plant your garden on time.

21. And if it is raining on the weekend, who cares?

22. You clean the vinyl house siding.

23. Midnight is “too early” to go to bed.

24. You talk to your cats. Often.

25. And they talk back. And you “know” what they are saying. Really.

26. 60 suddenly doesn’t seem “old” at all.

27. You spend 5 minutes deciding on which salad dressing to use. Because it’s IMPORTANT!

28. The first day of each month, you enter the “free money” into your checkbook, do a little dance, and cackle with pure unadulterated GLEE.

29. You give names to all the squirrels.

30. You watch Martha Stewart and say “Hey, I could DO that”.

31. And then you think of “improvements” to her simple projects.

32. You discover you know more about computers than Bill Gates does.

33. You make all your own greeting cards.

34. And you used the computer to make them, address the envelopes, AND mailed them 2 weeks before the holiday.

35. You start a blog! And one for your pet, too.

And finally…

36. You have the time to compose lists like this…

A Chrissy Mouse Carol - Part 3 of 3

Paw 3, in which Skeeter and LC learn that not all mousies are small and pouncable, and they learn the terrible fate that (might) await them!

Well, guess what? After less than a hour, we were awaked AGAIN! There was a mousie there.

We just stared, all-stunned like and froze in place from wakin. Not just a reglar mousie but a big mean nasty-lookin mousie. It was bigger than The Big Thing!

It was the scariest thing we had ever seen, an that included the wolvies from earlier! We poofed as big as we could immediately but it didn’t even blink. It dint efen seem to notice. It didn’t speak at all, but we jus knew it hadda be the Chrissy Mouse of da Future!

Instead, it jus pointed insistently toward our litterboxes and showed huge sharp teef! We dint wanna go there jus then. Well, we really did wanna go there, but not fer the reason it wanned us to. So it shoved us with its nasty snakey tail. We bof landed in the boxes, but we fell right through!

We were inna woods. Not our own safe woods, but someplace strange and far away from Beins. We couldn’t efen SMELL any scent of Beins. The trees were all gnargly an twisted, an the wind was bitter. It was a place we could nefer be found at… It was a place so terrible, we couldn’t efen sense The Bridge! We looked at each ofer and we was so OLD an even starvy-lookin. Our fur was mangey and some was missin...

An we couldn’t move or anything cause we was all wrapped up in leeshes and harnesses!. The Big Nasty Rat (we had figured that from tales we heard from city-kitties) pointed to 2 deep holes inna ground fulla mud. Then he started pushin us slowly toward the holes until we could see down inta them. We started to mewl like kittens…

It was horrible. The Nasty Rat rolled us inna the holes an started jus kickin leafs over us an laffin until we couldn’t see or hear anymore. We couldnt move. I could barely hear Skeeter scream “Take me and let LC go home”. But the Rat spoke only one hissy word, “NOOOO”! Then Skeeter had the wit to ask “Is this our fate or can it be changed?”, and then “Can we change our ways?”

An then, amazingly, The Terrible Rat stopped, cleared the leafs offa Skeeters face and stared at him the longest time. Then he went an cleared offa LC’s leafs an said (in the lowest voice she could hear) “DO YOU CARE ABOUT OTHERS”? LC said “I care”. Then, “WILL YOU BE KINDER TO THE MOUSIES”? We both yowled “YES”!

The Rat stared for a while longer, then then a strange twisty wind anna horrible-bright sparkly bolt came an lifted us up outta the holes an we were suddenly back in the basement. We were sittin in the litterboxes (Yuck!) which we IMMEDIATELY used thoroughly.

We learned our lesson ya betcha! First, we decided that we won’t make the meeses work efen the day BEFORE Chrissy Mouse, we wont make them try to catch up the day after, an we wont chase the squirrelies fer 2 months at least FER SURE. We efen pushed some bits of cheese an extra sunflower seeds to the place where they all hide at night. We realize that we treated them mean. Aktually, they are free to go. But we’re not MAKIN em go; it is too cold out. They can stay til Spring if they are polite an don’t bother The Big Thing.

The nex morning, we also made sure that when the squirrel was up on the deck (an saw us) we pointed at some fancy Bein-type nuts we had snuck out there earlier and made a big deal of turnin away an nappin so she could see we werent innerested in any chasin. She stuffed ALLA them in her mouf and ran off. LC was amazed; “An I thought YOU ate fast”, she said to Skeeter.

Later, we tole The Big Thing all about our weerd night. We made him check us fer unseen harnesses an leeshes, check the basement fer unseen squirrelies, make sure the fence is strong, and guarantee us that The Winter Kitty an Tinkerbelle are still our friends an been stayin ofer the Rainbow Bridge. He checked efrything an said we was “A-OK”. Well, that was sure a relief!

He started ta explain that we had both jus hada bad dream, but we walked away. We know better than that! Like both of us hadda same dream. An we guess we couldn’t describe the wolvies an the Terrible Rat too well, so he dint unnerstand.

So we slept fer 12 hours, no bad dreams. Well, we needed the sleep. An we felt good about ourselfs, givin the mousies an Mrs. Squirrel some food in this cold time.

We slept like happy little kittens…

Of course, The Big Thing might gonna get some visitors tonite. The Winter Kitty SAID so. Heh, heh, heh…

Merry Chrissy-Mouse Efrykitties! Be kindly ta all creatures, great an small, at this time of year…

LIGHT

Since our camera won't take pictures of bright lights (like light bulbs turned on), we decided to re-think "light". Well, we love playin wif fevvers, an they dont weigh anythin at all. So they seemed real "light" to us...

A Chrissy Mouse Carol - Part 2 of 3

By Skeeter an LC

Paw 2, in which Skeeter a LC meet The Squirrelie of Chrissy Mouse Present, an learn that sometimes the paw is onna other foot...

Well, we settled back to nappin an we swear it wasn’t but a minnit an we heard another “POP”. “Oh great” griped Skeeter, “we’re not gonna get any sleep tonight”. LC jus stared at the little squirrelie glarin down at us from up on the fireplace mantle. The squirrelly wasn’t s much glowin as blinkin. It was very disturbin! Neither of us could quite see where she was, like she was hoppin back an forth from one spot to anofer.

“Im up here to be safe wile I talk to ya”, she said in her little squeeky voice. “I’m the one ya been chasin lately. An I don’t appreciate it. I’ve got 3 little ones in the nest an alotta acorns to bury. So I’m here ta make a deal. Stop chasin me an I’ll show ya something useful”.

We agreed easily. The night was pretty weird already, and we wernt getting any sleep. Besides, who cares about promises made to squirrels? Suddenly she tossed a pompom over our heads. When we looked at it, she POUNCED us! Then we were in our backyard…

Only there wasn’t a fence there anymore, and woofies all around. No, not woofies; wolvies! An they chased us all around and then the fence was back up an there was nowhere to go. They could nefer catch us but they wouldn’t stop chasin us and we were getting SO tired. We couldn’t efen climb any trees.

They suddenly stopped chasin us and sat aroun us inna circle. We were pantin SO hard. The squirrelie materialised in fronta us an said “So now ya know what its like. Not much fun, is it? Do ya know what ya spossed to learn from this?” she asked (wif a smirk onner face).

Skeeter tried “Don’t chase squirrels wif wolvie friends?” The wolvies started closin in… LC shouted “dont chase things”! Squirrelie got a big grin onner face and said “Now yer catchin on… Remember that”! The fence went back up, the wolvies disappeart, an we were back inna basement. We were scart mousie-droppingly! It took us 10 WHOLE MINUTES ta get back ta sleep!

Next, Paw 3, The Terrible Mousie of Chrissy Mouse Future

A Chrissy Mouse Carol - In 3 Parts

By Skeeter an LC

Paw 1, in which Skeeter a LC meet The Winter Cat Supreme Mouser of Old again and The Cat of Chrissy Mouse Past, an learn that are ofer concerns of the naptime...

It was a dark an stormy Chrissy Mouse Eve. We had been workin the Living Room, counting our Toys an Temptations, as usual. The Big Thing had sent stuff off to ofer kitties, and we hadnt got anything new. We were feelin grumpy. The Big Thing was all squiggled inta his bed. We decided ta nap out in the big room. He was tossin an turnin a bit, so it was safer elsewhere.

We had the mice werkin in the basement cleanin our litterboxes (as usual) an carryin away all that sawdust The Big Thing makes an other mousey tasks. We keep them stashed unner the stairs where The Big Thing doesn't know. (Hey, they werk fer sunflower nuts we collect spilled from the birdie-feeder barrel). They asked fer Chrissy Mouse Day off. We weren’t thrilled, but it’s a tradition we kinna have to live with. A “cost of business” so to say... We told them they better get back early the day after and make all the same werk… They thanked us with great squeeks.

So, we settled down to a nice long nap together.

Well about the middle of the night, we heard a kinna “POP” sound an found ourselfs lookin at Jeremy, our old Winter Cat friend an meese-huntin partner. “Skeeter and LC”, he intoned, “yer going to be visited by 3 creatures this dark, an ya better pay attention to them. Yer treatin the meeses bad and ya must atone! They're creatures too”. We pointed out that he loved eatin messes an efen squirrels, but then he shook the horible many leashes wrapped aroun him (we hadnt noticed them until he shook em) and shreeched horribly. “I am entangled in a leesh for efry meese an squirrel I efer ate”, he said. “And that will be yer fate fer efry meese ya keep werking fer ya inna basement. But theres a escape claws, of course…” We asked about that of course. Escape claws are useful. “Ya will be visted by 3 creatures ya know (sorta) an they will tell ya important stuff ta save ya from my fate”. Then he teleported out.

We looked at each ofer, eyes wide. We decided it was that weird new food The Big Thing gave us fer dinner. Beef, an we don’t like that much. Perhaps there was too much “meat by-product” init, or it had been spoiled in some way. We went back to our naps.

Then there was Tinkerbelle. Sittin right THERE. Only she looked funny-fadey an there was no scent. She glowed a little bit, too. We went to sniff her, but she whapped us. Both. We tried to whap her back, but our paws went right through. LC whispered to Skeeter “She could nefer do THAT before”. Skeeter jus stared…

“I am The-Cat-Who-Came-Before” she yowled, an her hiss froze our bones. We mean, we jus puffed up more than we efer haf before. Did we mentin she was twice her previous size? It was scarey. She said we were in trubble an she wanned ta show us something. Putting her front paws on our heads, we were suddenly in the old days! We were both watchin ourselves much younger an Tinkerbelle was still twice as big. We were watchin as we played wif meeses as friends. Ah such innocent days! They would run aroun an we would pounce them (gentley) an we would all giggle. Then we would do it again until we all got tired and went to haf some food. The meeses got cheeses an we got crunchy-treats.

“Remember those days kitties?” Tinker said. “Innocent fun, wasn’t it?”"Well, you’ve changed and I can see all the leeshes on you now. You efen have HARNESSES!”. "Think on that!"

She suddenly wasn’t there annymore and we were back nappin together. Skeeter said “We better be careful of that beef stuff”...
Maybe there was some bits of gristle init!

Holding Down LC

SKEETER: I jus have to mention this. LC has a very odd habit an The Big Thing took a picture, so this seems the right time. One day, many Big Moons ago, LC was standin on the bed wile The Big Thing was puttin away his changable furs. He tossed a hanky an it landed on her back.

Well, she went down flat like he sat on her or somethin! An she WOULDNT move. It was SO funny. I went an sniffed her to see what was wrong, but she jus said she was bein held down.

So The Big Thing was sortin paw-socks yestaday an LC was standin there, an well, ya can see what happened... He didnt leave the paw-socks on her for longer than it taked to make the picture (he's not mean, jus playful). But I think it is SO funny she does that.

As ya might guess, she doesn't earthworm unner the blankies at night like I do. She'd neffer get OUT!

Sunday Hadda Lotta Good Stuff

We got lotsa nice news and stuff yesterday!

1. The Big Thing forgot to check the mail the day before, so we got Chrissy Mouse cards onna Sunday when there is NEFER mail! We got 4 cards. The Big Thing set aside a table for our cards jus for us! He has 2; we have 10. WooHoo! We're gonna take pictures of them in groups inna few days. But we are SO thrilled to be getting cards from our kittie friends all ofer the place.

2. We got Fancy Feast twice yesterday and treats twice too. The Big Thing is amazed we go outside efen fer a short while in this cold weather and he feels sorry fer us when we come in wif cold-feelin fur. He doesn't unnerstand we are still warm unnerneath the fur an we AINT gionna tell him. An dont you EITHER. We want those treats!

3. We admired DMM's vase again many times. It looks so pretty wif da efergreen leafs in it. Those leafs sure drink a lotta water, though, The Big Thing filled up te vase twice when we were watchin (an maybe some when we werent). He is keepin it down onna floor fer a few days so we can look atit real close. Then it goes onna table (where we can go when he isn't eatin his food there) an we can look at it there too.

4. We gotta call yesterday saying our new fancy TV will arrive in 2 days. We are all curious about whether Skeeter will be able to see the pictures on it. If he can, he is gonna be amazed at what he sees. Lions an Tigers an Bears, oh my... The Big Thing promises he will let us hide in the bedroom wif da door closed when the stange people bring it into the cave.

5. Our Gizzies are finished! We gotta a email sayin so! We might get them inna few days... Ooh, we cant WAIT! We fanked Millie lots. Wait til ya see the pictures; they are the best EFER!

6. The Big Thing hunted a NEW Fancy Feast food fer us. It is Wild Salmon Florentine (or somethin like that). It was great. We will be reviewin it real soon.

7. LC: I almost caught a squrrel! I was jus sitting mindin my own bizness when it jus walked right past me. I waited til it had its back facin me and ran at it. But those "Mouse-droppings" things is fast! And dang zig-zaggy! The Winter Kitty of years past used ta catch em an I cant figure out how AT ALL!

Was THAT a great day or WHAT?
