Sunday Pile On

TBT:  I got up early and watched political news on TV.  I fed the cats first, of course; they always get fed before I eat.  Their "full-tummy-happiness" caused a cat-pile as soon as I sat down.

I was happy about THAT, but I know I don't look it.  The news wasn't great.  And I don't LOOK smiley a lot normally.  Some people do, I don't.  I used to get a lot of "Hey, smile" comments at work even when I FELT happy.  So don't worry about that.  I was happy...

Seriously, with Marley licking my hair and Ayla on my shoulder, I really was pretty pleased!

And you can just barely see Iza on my lap in the bottom left...

But Ayla is disturbed by the least movement, and I was starting to avoid Marley's rough tongue-licks.   He is determined and dedicated to licking.  I have abrasions to prove it.   Ayla went off to the desk.

She always likes to be "near but not on" after a few minutes.  Well, each of them has their own habits...

We are spending Easy Sunday nappin together again.

TBT is actally watchin a football game, but he is up doin stuff while it is on, so we cant lapnap.  Thats OK, he'll have ta sit down eventually!  Meanwhile, the bed is soft an the company is good...

We are sometimes a couple unner the blankies an one on top, 

 but most often like this.

This one was cuter than normal cuz Ayla had her long back "bunny" legs draped over Marley.

I stayed out of all that a bit this time.

So, it was an "almost" kitty pile.  But still close...

Easy Like Sunday

AYLA:  Well, we got through the hurricane just fine!  The lights dint go out, no water got into the house, and we had safe places to sleep.

In fact, towards morning, the strong winds had all calmed down and the rain sounded about normal, so we all got up on the bed and slept together.

Yes, a real kitty pile!

Of course, with TBT up and about, we started ta wake up too.

Marley especially was ready ta get up and started ta stretch.

Cuz when TBT gets up in the morning, it BREAKFAST TIME...

TBT went out after that ta look around the yard.  There was some fallen branches an stuff, but thats not OUR concern, so ya can see pictures about all that on HIS blog, HERE.
