We are hoping for a quiet night tonight but some neighbors love noise stuff this day and we now what is coming. They do that every year. TBT is looking for his earplugs. We won't have that advantage. This is our least favorite holiday of the year...
We hide where we can. Under the headboard of the bed is good. And TBT leaves the closet door open slightly and that is a good place to go too.
We could sure do without all these sudden loud noises!
They have started already. We are just going to settle down tonight. Ayla has a lot of experience with this and offers advice about staying calm. Well, she does know stuff after 15 or 16 years...

We heard the boomies last night. Both kinds! First, it was thunder from the sky. We haven't heard that in a while. Marley goes hiding, and in places we do not know of. The other 3 of us just settle in the bedroom. We feel safe enough there.
But we also heard some different noises. Yeah, its that time of year again! Neighbors explode stuff fer fun. We dislike those more. They are more sudden and closer. And they last longer than the sky thunders.
TBT says there will be a lot of the 2nd ones tonite. We wont see Marley fer hours after that. Not that we like them either, but we will just stay unner the bed instead of going into deep-hiding.
