LAZ: Lori and I have been doing a lot of chairtop-sitting lately...
It helps that TBT folded a blankie an a towel over the top. That made the top wider. An softier is good too!

LAZ: I am thankful for a new treat that only I get!
TBT has been giving me this really great treat lately. It is called "pillpocket". I get one each evening! I just LOVE it. And TBT says it is good fer me.
TBT: Laz is getting kitty prozac. It's called something like "fluroxetine". But he wouldn't take it orally whole. He wouldn't take it in his food. He wouldn't take it crushed in his food. I bought a pill shooter, but that didn't work. I tried wrapping it in cheese, but he doesn't like cheese much.
So I thought of pill pockets. I've mentioned before that he like those chicken-flavored ones plain, and accepted a pill in one. Well, it's been a week now and he still does.
He really loves them. He actually looks forward to getting "his special evening treat" lately. He just snarfs it right up!
I sure hope this lasts. Because it seems like pill pockets are the best way to pill a cat ever. He loves them, it is so easy to do, and he has swallowed his chill pill every night for a week! And they aren't expensive. I got a bag of 85 pill pockets for $13 at Petsmart, so cost isn't a problem.
So far, he doesn't notice the pill in the pill pocket. I have my fingers crossed. And Lori has her paws crossed, too. She wants a nice calm Laz near her again! With the pillpockets seeming to work, Laz will get his every night. And apparently, it takes a steady daily dose to work best.
Lori misses the closeness of "the old days".
And hopefully, that will return...
Edited to add: Paws crossed for our dear friend Brian. We have just learned that he is having a Bad Tooth Problem and that extraction is Not A Good Choice for him because it makes him too sleepy. So he is being visited by 2 powerful Auntie Biotics who may be able to help him with the Tooth Infection.
Keep Brian in your thoughts during this difficult time...
LORI: TBT has decided I am half to blame when Laz and I tangle and I screech in upset. But I don't feel blame. Just because I see Laz sitting in a room peacefully, wiggle my butt, and jump on him doesn't mean he should get all angry/fighty and stuff.
I'm a womancat; he should put up with stuff like that, right?
I miss cuddling with him on the waterybed.
But I should be allowed to jump on him sometimes, right?
Lori and Laz - Lori: We fought again. But I started it. I like ta chase Laz for playtime. But he got real annoyed. TBT suspects I am overdoing it. He says I should stop doing that. I'll try...
But he doesn't stay mad long. Here is us just an hour later...
We are kinna driving TBT crazy. So he says he might just ignore it for a while.
Easy Like Sunday and many days. We are behind in showing pics, so today is all the previous "Laz and Lori" pics of them cuddled up together over a couple weeks. Some were only an hour after fights.
LAZ AND LORI: We had a real drag-out FRAP/Wrassling/"Almost Fight" last night. We go a bit nutso sometimes. In fact, we went so crazy, we both fell to the floor from the top of the bookcases! We get pretty fierce with each other sometimes!
TBT worries about us sometimes. But then he sees us napping together in a couple of hours and relaxes a bit. We are just "2 wild and crazy cats"...
We wish we could provide pics of us falling off the bookcases, but TBT isn't that fast with the camera. MOL! It actally takes a couple minutes fer him to find the camera, start it, adjust it, click. And we don't wait around fer all that.
We were spending time together on the bed.
Oh well, there will be more soon, and the bed itself is comfy enough.
TBT: The pictures have been dark because the camera is dying. Flash is too bright and low-light is too dark. I can fix the low-light pics slightly better than I can fix the bright flashies. I have a new one and really have to get it set up.LAZ: Lori and I are takin it Easy outside on the deck today.
LAZ & LORI:
Ayla is napping in the laundry basket above. I would like ta join her, but I don't think she likes me much. But are sisfurs. She should like me. Maybe I better leave her alone and wait. Marley says to give her more time. Marley knows stuff.
Well. maybe I'll just curl up and she will join me. Whatever she likes is good.
The Ls keep finding new places to nap together. This bed had'nt been used in a couple months. But they both decided it was "The Right Place" yesterday.
I used to think that one of them decided where they should both nap (thinking one of them decided that), but it seems to be random. One settles in a spot and the other joins. I have finally observed that sometime Laz joins Lori and sometimes Lori joins Laz.
I guess it is whichever decides where to nap/sleep first and then the other finds the first "wherever".
Getting up for the day...
Lori: "Hey Laz, do ya suppose TBT will get up soon? Im kinna hungry.
Laz: "Then stop turnin yer nose up at last late meal... But go walk on him. That usually wakes him up"...
LAZ AND LORI:
Late night pics...
It starts with a noies-sniff.
