Those were good calm times.

Easy Like Sunday

 TBT:  This IS actually Easy Like Sunday, but some background first.  

As much as there are fusses and yells, there are times of peace.  Peace usually involves food or being around me, but sometimes everycat seems calm.

Lori and Loki especially have problems with each other.  It's difficult.  Lori and Marley get along wonderfully; Lori loves Marley and seeks his attention often.  Loki and Binq get along wonderfully.  They play and sit around together.  Loki and Binq love Marley too and seek his attention.

But Lori and Loki just can't seem to get along.  It's not like it was at first with them going at each other  every day, but they will probably never be really friendly.  There is a fuss at least once a day.

But it comes and goes.  Most times, Loki and Lori will sniff noses and butts, walk past each other, eat near each other...  And then a shreech!  And it is always starting somewhere I am not!  Maddening.

So when they are near each other peacefully, I am happy.  The 1st 2 pics show them peacefully close.  

Later, they were close again, but it was actually a good sunpuddle day.

Binq was napping in her new favorite place, but more about that later.

So today was a nice calm Easy day.  I value those...

Flashback Friday

 Back to this week in the thrilling day of 2012!  Iza was really enjoying a sunpuddle.  And Marley got some sun too.  The sunpuddle started out kind of weak, but picked up quickly.

But We Mews need to speak to losses and unhappiness too.  The J-Cats are in difficult times.  Their world is being attacked and we have crossed paws that they are OK and that the meaness will stop soon..

And Stunning Keisha has lost "The Woman" who helped her write her posts and was a Great Friend in her life..  We suppose that leaves her to "The Man".  And we wish him peace in his loss.  We can't do anything about that otherthanb to hope well for both of them...

Flashback Friday

Looking back at old pictures is always fun.   Sometimes, they even surprise me!  So today, we revisit this week in 2014...

Ayla could get up anywhere.  Here, she is looking for a cozy spot behind books in the upper part of a bookcase with no apparent way up.  She just levitates...

Ayla and Marley were enjoying the double cat trees.

Meanwhile, Iza was enjoying a box.  She considered the sides "a bit low" but it was after all, a box.

Returning from a Vet visit, Ayla oddly didn't want to come out (maybe a bit woozy from some shot), so Marley guarded her.

Later, Ayla went out on the deck to watch the squirrels struggle through the snow.  

Back to the carrier (out of order, but moving the pictures around is fighting me), Marley got in the carrier and Ayla guarded him.

And later, Iza got in.  She needed no guard.  Given how much The News generally hate the carrier (PTU), this sequence has always baffled me.

And finally, there was a brilliantly sunny day.  The Mews all collected together to enjoy the warmth on their furs.  It was actually quite cold outside, so they made a good choice.

MARLEY:   Sunpuddle bliss...

LAZ:  I love sunpuddles.  Well, they are warm of course, but they do innerestin things to me furs.  Fer Marley, they just brighten his.  Fer Ayla, sometimes ya can actally see her face good.  Makes little difference on Lori as she is still mostly all white (but TBT says that will change).  

As I said, I love Lori.  Shes playful and I NEEDED that.  But she is a bit re-lentless.  She love battin my tail.  A fella needs SOME calm time, ya know?

But I can ignore my tail.  It seems ta have a mind of its own annyway.  Allus movin around...

So I let Lori an my talio fight it out while I nap in the sunpuddle.

BTW, I like Winter in one way; the sunpuddles reach further into the house...

 

Easy Like Sunday

MARLEY:  I'm waitin fer TBT ta open the deck door.  I wanna go out.  It will be soon, as we have all had 1st  breakfast an it isnt raining.  But I have a good sunpuddle to sit in...

An the sunpuddle reaches the scratcher box.  That is a comfy place for my head.  And I sniff it.  I can tell everycat has been using it lately.  What can be better than sniffs&sunpuddles together?  Well, OK, I could make a list, but ya know what I mean.  Those are good.

But it is kinna worn out.  TBT made it years ago.  A box with "co-regated" cardboard strips glued in.  It sat around ignored fer years, but has become popular lately.  A box with pieces of boxes in it, MOL!

I dint notice until seeing this pic of me, but I need some brusies and combies.  Fur looks a bit rough.  But thats fer later...  TBT is openin the deck door.

Time ta find some mousies!
