TAZ:  I'm enjoying the towel covering the laundry basket.  All that laundry sure makes things comfy!

There is an overgrown corner where an introoder cat likes ta sneak in.

But its not there today...

Which is good.  I dont feel like goin down there and fussin at it...

Taz Tuesday

TAZ:  I have really been doin The Lap lately.

I can really streetch out!

These are not all the same day.  I dont move around much, so pics of the same Lap visit would all look the same.

Sometimes, I just sit awake.

I just enjoy being there.

But I do nap there too.

And some evenings, I really stretch out.  TBTs legs make a fine napping spot.

Marley and Lori arent getting ignored.  Some nights are their turns.    But it HAS been a lot ME lately...

 TAZ:  I am the shoe rack king!

Lori has her aquarium hood and one special hut in the cat tree, Marley has his hammik and lower plant stand cushion, and Binq has the upper plant stand cushion and the arm of the TV chair.  

Its not that limited.  We all like the warmy waterbed, laundry piles, and The Lap.  But when it comes to special places, the top of the shoe rack is all mine!

Mancat Monday And Meezer Colors Day

 TAZ here:  Box Joy!  A very purrfect size.

And just high enough so I could look all around.

I was watchin out fer Lori...

And suddenly there she was!  I just knew she would show up...

But I was well-protected in my purrfect box!  She couldn't well reach over and down.  But I could.  So I had a peaceful hour...

TAZ:   We love The Lap.  Well, OK Binq doesn't quite yet, but she loves the Arm.  So I was all curled up there.  His legs were in the best position.  He had fruit, nuts, and wine next to him, so he din't move for an hour!  It was purrfect...

But eventually, he had to stretch his legs out.  Goodbye Lap!  But later, Lori and I slept next to him in bed and that was good too.  Marley joined us in a bedcorner later.  

Binq likes to sleep in The Mews Room all night.  But she runs in, in the morning, when TBT gets up and she dances around on the bed for attention (which we all get) while he puts on his furs and paws for the day.

 I recently posted a pic with Binq and Marley enjoying "bunk beds"...

And there was a question about the gadget in front...

It is a water fountain.  Sadly, it is clogged now and I really need to clean it.  But when it was working, it was lovely.

Taz enjoyed it.  

So that's on the "To Do" list...

That whole area really needs some attention, grit and fur under the plant stand.  The last place I clean, LOL!

TAZ:    Please pardon me, I'm just doing a bit of maintenance today.  I had some loose claw-sheaths and outside grit between my toesies.  I like to be a clean cat!

  What, you never chew on yer claws?

All that werk deserved a good resting place afterwards...

TAZ:  I need a new nip cigar!  This one is so old there is no smell left.

It is rather kickable and soft, so there is still something good about it.

But Nip would be nice.

Actally, we have a number of faded-Nip toys.  TBT doesnt want to go hunt so many new ones.  He thinks he will cut them open, restuff them, and sew them back up.  Yeah, right!   But he did come home with a large jar of Nip recently, so maybe he actually will.  He can actually do simple sewing.  He says the next rainy day...

TAZ:  I do love the tower of towels on the shoe rack! 

And Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone who celebrates it.  Marley says TBT once made his waterbowl green and he dressed up in green about as much as he could...  Had Marley do it too.

Easy Like Sunday

TAZ:  It was Laundry Day and we allus love that.  I claimed the basket.

I stayed there fer several hours napping after TBT took my pic.  It was actually a quiet day.  Sundays are like that sometimes.

Thankful Thursday

 Not all Thankful Thursdays have to be about major deep thoughts.  So today I am just thankful that Taz seems to have lost his habit of marking territory each time he pees and doesn't seem to want to wet the bed either.

That may seem a major thing, but after Laz becoming insane again and having to be euthanized after suddenly attacking Lori viciously and constantly, Ayla's euthanism due to not being able to eat anymore in 2023, Taz was a 2 on the scale of problems.

Taz has become a "very good mancat".  He is a clean cat.  He comes in when called.  He sits on my lap easily.  He is good with the litterboxes.  At 9.2 pounds, he is easy to deal with.  He gets into the PTU easily for vet visits, and is tolerant of the minor indignities they have to do.

I'm glad I adopted him from the Shelter.  His first day...

It must have been a confusing day for him.  From a community room with a dozen other cats, to an empty room.  I sometimes wonder what he thought that day.  Something like "Where are all the others"?

I had Binq in another room so that she could sit calmly and adjust as well.

But Taz adjusted faster, and came out 2 days earlier.

I'm glad he is in my life.  I wasn't so sure after he started peeing high, but things are a lot better now.

TAZ:   I'm being very watchful!  Not at an Evil Skwerrel.  Not at a birdy.

Those 2 big doggies next door were just let out in their backyard, so I want to keep track of where they are.

They are seldom out at the same time as we Mews.  As far as I can tell, they are let out mostly early morning and at twilight, and we aren't.  

But sometimes, they suddenly come out in the early afternoon.  So we have to be careful.  Not that we every go into their yard, but it is still smart ta be watchful.

TAZ:   Marley mentioned The Lap yesserday.  Well, I sure love it too.  I don't remember having one before I came here (and I wasn't sure about it at first).
