Easy Like Sunday

We had a pretty good time outside twice today.  It was a little chilly, but there was no wind of wet out there, so that was good.  But we came in for 2nd Lunch an decided it was time ta nap afterwards!

 

Twofur Tuesday

 Two pairs of two's:

Lori and Marley on my lap.  Lori is discovering that, as she grows larger (and Marley being very large anyway), it is harder to find space to settle down.

Marley and Laz (being the 2 biggest of The Mews) find it easier to find room on the bed.  They don't snuggle together, but I do often find them napping "close but not touching".  

Flashback Friday

Today we revisit this week in 2011.

Marley was young and playful, and more Ayla's size then.  They played a door game.  Who would reach around first?

Nothing much ever happened.  They were both too cautious...

So it was a waiting game.

Kinna got boring sometimes...

C'mon Marley, jump through the door!

OK, time fer a nice nap...

 

Thankful Thursday

We are Thankful we are all getting along.  It has become routine that we are all around TBT together in the TV Room in the evening and the Bedroom at night,  And out on the deck, come to think of it.  

Laz will get his turn on The Lap later, but you can see he WANTS to be there.  And he has become dedicated to sleepin up against TBT at night.  So he gets touch-time.

And he has EVEN learned the pleasure of bein "unner the covers" at night.  Marley is best at it, but Laz learns from him.  I (Ayla) still get twitchy there and stay only like 15 minutes.  I like my attention elsewhere.

LAZ:   After beating up Bunny yesserday, it was time for a nap!

Tuesday Talkie Time

LAZ:  I talk ta Dad often.  He says I talk more than Ayla does, and she is a FULL Siamese.  

I'm up on Ayla's Special Towel.  She hates that.  I just laff.  I'm in charge here.  Well, it is a Good Spot and she has others I leave alone.

I like looking at Dad from eye-height, too, ya know?  It means we are equals.

See the yawn?  Its naptime...

Bet I made YOU yawn too...  MOL!

Ayla...  OK, this IS a bit unusual.  But we can't pass up showing her at peace on the Lap...

She does jump off if I so much as twitch.  And I do move, so this precious moment doesn't last long.

TV Chair

IZA:   TBT bought a new chair for watching the TV.  HE DINT LIKE IT,  but I did.  I curled right up on it.

Well, what kitty wouldnt check out a new spot to nap on?

I gave it my full approval...

And then TBT made it better!  He added a cat mat.  

Mebbe HE doesnt like it, but *I* sure do!

Mancat Wensday

MARLEY:  Well, we are all off-theme this week, but who cares?  Today IM doing "Womancat Wensday".  We are sort or relaxed about that.  And I AM relaxed...

The towel could be a little thicker though.

But it beats just the wire mesh under it...

IZA:  Yes, this is Aylas Princess Throne.  Yes, Im not supposed ta be here.  Yes, the towel is more "Ayla-sized". 

But we "common folkcats" like to take over sometimes...  MOL!

AYLA:  Im taking it EASY up on the bookcase today.  Heights make my happy.

Partly because I just like high places, but partly because Iza doesn't.

And besides, I look so regal up here with my paws front and tail curled around.

Oh, Iza is staring up at me!  I better tell TBT to check the Felliway dispenser...

Meanwhile, I will just ignore her!
