Easy Like Sunday

We are all resting today (and last night).

Marley said I could use the hammick.

Loki was sitting on a box.  

Lori was enjoying the top of the aquarium.

Marley was enjoying the time on the cat pads.  They used to get warm, but they died.  But they are still cushiony!

Binq got her turn on the pads.

All in all, a great evening and morning. 

Ooh, this is Easter, isnt it?  TBT says we should search the house.  He says he has hidden some treats around the rooms.  We will find them...

Flashback Friday

 Well, why not get a bit more current?  This week in 2015...

Marley was up on Ayla's "special place" (note the sign).  He got down quickly when she came in.

She had been out sitting on a fence post.  She loved that.

Marley discovered he could no longer fit in "the hidey hole".

Ayla was enjoying The Fancy Box.

But Iza got a turn in it too, later.

Meanwhile, Marley and Ayla were mutually grooming while Iza enjoyed the box....  I need to make a new one.

Those were seriously "non-fuss days".  And we had another 5 years of that...

Thankful Thursday

LOKI AND BINQ:  We really get along together well.  

TBT is very happy about that.

We wrassle briefly sometimes, but it is very brief.

Mostly, we are both generally near each other.

It is good ta have a close friend.

Marley is all very friendly too, but not the "sit together friendly".  More like he watches over everycat and is kind to all.

Womancat Wensday

 LORI:  Some varmint was on our deck last night.  I'm checking out the stink.

OK, smells like a possum.  We don't see many these days, so I had to think about it.  You know, run through the "stink list"...

TBT throws orange peels into the corner of the back yard where they like to sneak in.  They don't like citrusy stuff.  Well, neither do we, so that makes some sense.  Mebbe TBT needs to eat more oranges.

Twofur Tuesday

 LOKI AND BINQ:  We are playing with an ant.  Of course you cant see it.  But it is there.

If something moves, we want to investigate it.

Sometimes it disappeared for a bit.  

We looked everywhere.

Never saw it again...

Annoying Monday

We had a couple of "contractor" strangers here earlier today.  We weren't happy about that of course.  But they dint make TBT very happy either.  Something about "costs".  He will post about that on his own bloggie tomorrow.

Easy Like Sunday

 The flowing water fountain is attracting us.  I (Loki) drank a few times from it.

The moving water is interesting.

I like this thing suddenly!

Caturday Saturday

BINQ:   Im still not crazy about being "out".  But I love to sniff at the open door.  Going "out" is still a bit scary though.

But sometimes I do it!  Like yesserday...

It helps when TBT is on the deck outside and calls to me.  If he is out there, I fell safer.

So I carefully went out.  I dont know who the other 3 just "run right out confidently".   Well, Marley and Lori are used to going "out" and Loki was enthusiastic from the first chance.  We came from different first homes, so mabbe Loki was used to going "out" there.

But there are a lot of noises and smells Im not used to. 

So I'm careful.

I look around a lot.

And Im always ready to run back inside.  But it was quite yesserday so I went out.

To TBT's surprise (and mine), I suddenly ran down the deck stairs.

And there I was, standing on GRASS!

I ran back inside.  But it was kinna eciting.  And TBT says I can take all the time I need ta get used to "out".  He says it is my choice.  An I dont have to.  Just "if I want to"...

Flashback Friday

TBT:   For this week, we go to 2013...

Iza and Marley were enjoying each other's company.  

Looking and listening for mousies.

It took time.

But it was also mid-day and that is not really when the mousies are active.

So not much happened...

But they liked each other, so they stayed close.

But eventually, they decided to try their luck elsewhere.  And each had different favorite spots...

As best I recall, Marley prerred brushy spots and Iza liked grassy areas.

But, they knew what they were doing better than I did.

I think Marley found a hole to paw around in.

And found one...

But had to go look elsewhere.

I don't think Iza found one that day either.

But exploring the back yard and looking for mousies sure kept them happy!

Thankful Thursday

LOKI:   Today, I am thankful for warm spots. 

The dishwasher may not seem the best place, but when TBT opens it, I hop right up.  Warmth flows from it for a while.  And I never miss the chance to enjoying that!
