13 Things Big Things Should Always Keep in Mind:
1. A piece of paper on a wood floor is more comfortable to sit on than no paper.
2. When you step over a cat you better keep balanced on one foot because you never know if we will panic from where your awkward hulking feet will come down. Slow Big Thing foot movement is real good.
3. We LIKE sitting on newspaper, so stop trying to get us offa it.
4. The most interesting side of any door is the OTHER side.
5. Sniffing outside air is better than being out in it (but see 6 and 7).
6. Being outside is wonderful.
7. Being inside is wonderful.
8. Food is where ever you find it.
9. No one ever objects to the offer of a fresh crushed catmint leaf.
10. No one ever objects to a clean litter box, either.
11. Pooping outside in the leafs is better, but we want that clean litter box, too.
12. Water from ponds with fishies tastes better that that stuff in the house.
13. If it is raining outside the back door, there is no reason we shouldn’t check the front door too.

Spring2
LC Reports: Oh goodness, Me, Skeeter, and The Big Thing have been outside almost all day the past few lights! He has been diggin holes and movin plants around (why, we do not know). But we have been runnin around the yard too, and all 3 of us is tired each dark!
The Big Thing hadn't been providin much lap time for Skeeter, and he has been real touchy-feely about that. I sit down, an he comes over and wants to lay on top of me! What a big heavy lump he is. And while I usually just sit on the next chair, I miss the together-time, too. So, when The Big Thing sat in his favrit Big Thing chair, Skeeter demanded lap time and I stayed even closer than usual so I could get some chin scratching too. That was good!
Skeeter got his lap time and I got my chinny-scratches, so all's well here. The Big Thing has been puttin all kinda small plants in the ground outside. We looked at him like "well, why" but he says they will not only get bigger but they will have great big leafs for us to hide unner. He promises, and that's good enough for me.
He calls them "hostas" an he is sure puttin a lotta them in the ground. Why you bury something to make it come up big is beyond me, but he says so. It's not what happens when I bury things in the dirt!
