AYLA: I love my Big Brother Skeeter all ta death, but sometimes he is pretty cranky. Like when I stay right in front of him, he hisses and then swats me iffen I dont move fast. An he doesn't like me trying ta sleep cuddled up against him. Its not jus me, LC says he doesnt much let her do that either annymore.
So I was thrilled that he let me sleep against him like this. Not nose-a-nose like I'd like, but ya take what ya can get!
And later, The Big Thing brought a basket of garden stuff inna house! He brought some of these things in before, but I couldn't see them. They were up onna kithchen counter (where we are not allowed ta go). So I looked them over very carefully.
I dint really like the smell much, but The Big Thing asked me ta sniff them all over fer buggies. I didnt find anny, but he gave me some treats fer checkin.
Of course Skeeter an LC came runnin when they heard the treat jar opened. So they hadda get some too, efen though they hadnt done annything to earn them!
I griped a little ta LC about that an she jus laffed. She said sometimes THEY do somethin (like catchin a fly or a cricket) ta earn treats an it doesnt efer stop ME from runnin ta get a few. I hadnt thought about THAT!
