Well, The Big Thing says a lot of things we don't unnerstand, but we usually get some of it (an we are learnin every light). But sometimes he spaeaks words we REALLY dont get at all.
So we hadda cut and paste it:

It went on like that, but we didn't unnerstand it. The Big Thing leaked some tears, so it must have been words he unnerstood. We wish we unnerstood his words better, an we also wish he unnerstood us better. We guess he does the best he can, an we think that is pretty good.
Whatever he says that we dont unnerstand, we know that he cares a lot about us an protects us an loves us an stuff (an we love him), so its OK if we dont always unnerstand everything he says.
We are happy an that's all we can ask for...

Thursday Thirteen
Thirteen Sounds We Dont Like To Hear!
1. Doors Closing.
2. BOOMS, POWS and SHHHRRRZZZSKRIEKS!
3. Little Noisey Machines that go on the street ("motorcycles").
4. Birdies hittin the window when The Big Thing isnt around to let us out!
5. Plastic trash bags bein fluffed open.
6. Thunderboomers.
7. The garbage-eating machine (we jus KNOW there is somethin goin down there we want).
8. Little noisey machines that claw the grass ("mowers").
9. The ringy machine that The Big Thing talks into (cause he wont pay any attention to us when he is talking to it).
10. The noisey machine in the garage (cause it means The Big Thing is leavin).
11. Trees throwing their parts down on the top of the cave.
12. Slinky things that hiss at us outside.
13. The DING-DONG thing at the front door (cause that means STRANGERS)!
Note: #10 is a little uncertain, cause sometimes The Big Thing returns with food or toys or treats). We had to discuss that. But mostly he doesn't return with good stuff for us so we agreed to leave it. The Big Thing says that he often has to go to places that dont have kitty stuff, but we think that he is avoidin our objeckshuns.

Loud Noises Last Dark!
Skeeter: We were really surprised last dark with lotsa really loud noises happening. The noises kept up for a whole naptime at least! LC was sittin on the stool next to The Big Thing an I was sittin on his lap when it started.
LC was upset an I was ready to run unner the bed an hide, but The Big Thing was pretty calm an he was talking to us while scratchin us an all, so we stayed were we were.
The noises were all like BOOM and POW and SHHHHRRIZZZZZSHRIEK, not like the thunderboomers when it rains real hard an we dint like it AT ALL. We werent sure The Big Thing was hearin them at all at first, but we noticed he would sometimes look exactly were the sounds were comin from, so we guess he could hear them. Well, seriously, his hearin isnt all that good cause we hear a lot of things he doesn't (like birdies and bugs and outside kitties an woofies an even invadin varmints outside).
But he says he knows that an its OK cause he hears some stuff we dont (yeah right). But he seems serious about that. He says really low noises fit in his ears better than they do in ours (or somethin like that). He explained about whale sounds an we asked what a "whale" was. When he described one, we knew he was funnin us. I mean, a fishie the size of the whole cave? The isn't enough water around the whole cave for somethin that jumongous!
Anyway, we were sure glad when the BOOMS/and POWS stopped. He says it happened a long time ago too but we jus dont remember. We think he makes up stuff like that alla time.
So we all slept real late this light and it was all nice and quiet when we got up an had breakfast. I sure hope the BOOMs and POWS don't come back again...
