Moo Cow, Part 5

MOO COW: TBT took me on a tour of parts of the house I hadn't seen before.  I mean, there is a whole place UNDER the house.  And he grows GREAT FOOD down there.

Mostly, he had lettuce.  I LOVE lettuce!  And he grows fancy ones like endive and romaine.
They are as big as I am!
I could eat it ALL in a day!  Which is why TBT didn't let me just graze there.  He says if he cuts it carefully, it keeps growing back almost all year!  Wow...  So I ate what he gave and enjoyed it a LOT!
But he made sure I had a good meal of them back upstairs.  I sure ate well here.  TBT made sure I had lots of fresh grass, but he added neat stuff like broccoli, carrots, and cabbage.  That was like having desert for meals!

But that WASN'T dessert.  This was.  Now first, I want to mention that I liked TBT's pond.  Water is good to drink, and fishies are fun to watch.  But you see that bright green stuff at the top?  Those are called "anachris" and OH PASTURE COW, it tasted wonderful!  Sweet, crunchy, and (according to TBT) full of vitamins for herbivores!  And I hardly had to cud it twice!
Well, it has been a wonderful visit with TBT and The Mews, but it is time for me to moove on, you know?  I want to learn more about other homes and anipals...

TBT is making a nice comfy travelling box for me, so I will be on my way tomorrow.

Moo Cow, Part 4

MOO COW:  Since Iza had been sharing my barn, she invited me to share the cat tree huts.  It was interesting.  They are different in that you have to climb to get into them.  But they are rather similar in some ways.

I sat in one for a while to get used to it.  I liked it.  But without TBT, I wouldn't have been able to get into them.  And being up that high felt "odd".
But the cat huts ARE spacious and I liked that.
I even slept in a hut one night...  The height didn't bother me with a large platform in the front.  But I couldn't get down on my own.  Fortunately, TBT anticipated my problem and set a tray of straw for me to "do nature's call" (out of sight here).  Well, I AM a Very Good Cow, and can control where I go...
This other hut was especially nice.  There is a big cushion inside.  I had trouble walking on it, but it was GREAT for a midday nap.

Moo Cow, Part 3

MOO COW:  I've also spent some time with Ayla.  She tends to stay up in high spots, but TBT helped me get up near her.  We talked a lot there.  She told me some jokes that would make ANY COW blush...  They WERE kind of funny though.
And then she was a bit embarrassed.  She thought she had insulted me.  Well, it is pretty hard to insult a cow, you know.  We are Very Content and Peaceable and I told her so...
So she thanked me.  She's a Good Cat.  Possible Princess Delusions, though...

Moo Cow, Part 2

MOO COW:  Sometimes I share my barn with Iza.  She is a very calm cat.  She is also a very warm sleeping friend.
We talk a lot.  She explains about cats and I explain about cows.  Sometimes she is really surprised.  She also examines my barn for ticks.  I hate ticks.  She has nibbled a couple off me, and that was nice.
We also whisper each other jokes.  I don't always understand hers and she doesn't always understand mine, but it is really the sharing that counts.  And sometimes we DO get each other's jokes and crack up together.

Moo Cow, Part 1

MOO COW:  Hi, I've been visiting Mark's Mews for a couple weeks.  It's been great!  The first thing TBT (The Mews name for their Bein it seems) did was build me MY OWN BARN.  I didn't really need the corral fences, but I have to admit is WAS comforting and familiar.

Here I am enjoying sitting in the front door.
It was also a great place to sleep at night.
I watched how the Mews and TBT went about their days.  They sure are different from us cows, but that is why I am travelling.  I like to learn things.
It is a REALLY spacious barn!  I LOVE all the room...
I'm keeping notes about them in my brain.  Cows have Very Big Brains, you know...
