Flashback Friday On Caturday Saturday

Well, I got up late, fed The Mews, fed myself, and then went grocery-shopping to avoid the weekend crowds.  By the time I got home, let The Mews out, put the groceries away and made/ate dinner, it seemed just too late to post.  

So Flashback Friday is today.  They come from this week in 2013.  And this batch is Marley's Napping Day!

This week in 2013 features Ayla and Marley.

Ayla wasn't trying to get outside in the dark; she was trying to cath bugs on the other side of the glass (LOL).

No success of course, but she kept trying.

Marley was enjoying his chair tent.  

Later, he was napping on the tree...

And went all silly for the camera!

And went right back to normal...

MARLEY:  Today in 2011, I was enjoying my chair tent.

It was really cozy!

My tail kept sneaking out though, which sort of gave away my location.  You can see me glaring at it here...

AYLA:  Yeah, Marley used ta love the chair tent.  But he hasnt gone there fer a while, so I did...

I have ta admit it is cozy.

 And no one knows I am there.

It IS camo after all...

Silly Saturday

MARLEY:   I used ta love napping unner the chair tent, so TBT set up another one on the old chair.  I havent used it yet.

But the chair is between our trees.  And I was up high on a tree and decided ta jump down in the tent...

It looked more solid than it is!  In fact, I almost bounced off the chair when the tent collapsed onto the cusion.  Silly me!

Flashback Friday

MARLEY:  We went looking at pictures from this month in the past and in 2011 it was ME!  I was still kinna new here then, an TBT had set up a chair tent for me.    I really enjoyed it.

It was like my own comfy little cave!

I could blend right in with the other colors and hide real good.

Parts of me would sneak out though...

Ive asked him to set it up again.  He says last time he did, I looked in it a couple times but wouldnt go in.  Mebbe I would now.

Marley Gets His Tent Back!

MARLEY:  A few years ago, TBT had set up a tent for me using a spare chair.  He draped a sheet over it and tucked in the bottom so it stayed tight.  I loved it.  But somehow it went away.

So he was looking at the chair the other day and remembered about my tent.  He set it up again.  It took a day for me to find it, but I went right in.  HURRAY!

Iza immediately wanted to investigate, and messed it up.  "Hey Iza, get off my tent, you are making it loose"!  I popped right out and threatened ta bite her butt...

Iza wasnt expecting THAT!  I am usually very tolerant of the Sisfurs...  

TBT came over and tucked it back in, so I was happy.  But I WAS watchful.

But being watchful is tiring...

So I settled back down.  Iza was unsure about the whole "tent-thing" and wasnt sure where I was.  She looked around the chair a bit, then wandered away to sit on TBT.
