IZA:  I love any box anywhere.  So when TBT dropped a box in the basement, I hopped right in...

I wasn't happy, though, when I saw Ayla up on the ladder (staring at me), so I turned on my lasers to warn her not to pounce.  

And the lasers werked of course.  She hopped down and went upstairs.  I have the best lasers in the house. 

Im still not sure why TBT, Marley, and Ayla laff when they see me in my favorite boxes though...

AYLA:  Laptime wars...  I don't often get TBTs lap.  And when I do, I seldom hold it.  Iza is demanding, and she outweighs me 10 lbs to 6.

But sometimes I hold my ground (lap?). She gives me the Stink Eye, and I stay.  TBT says just stay, and that is comforting.

Even when she gets the full lazers on, sometimes I stay.  

And sometimes, she gives up and leaves and I am all alone an comfy on his lap.

It doesnt get much better than THAT!

IZA:  Long-distance night-time pictures...   TBT was in another room, so the flashie activates my lasers, but doesnt do much fer the cat tree.  So TBT had ta play around with the picture some.  Made it a bit grainy-lookin, MOL!

So I decided it looked at least a LITTLE freaky...

Mancat Monday

IZA:  Yeah, I know it says Mancat Monday an its ME posting, but its ABOUT Marley.  Mostly.  Cuz its HIM curled up in the snug planter bed.

That I want ta be in instead of this narrow chair arm.

And Im gettin tired of waiting...  

How much longer do ya think hes gonna get ta stay there?

Tunnel Monster

AYLA:  I AM THE TUNNEL MONSTER!

Safe within my Tube Of Safety, I wait for a passer-by to pounce.

No passers-by, hmmm...

I better hide a bit better.

Failing anny passers-by, I backed out to a new spot.  So, OF COURSE one shows up immediately!  There is Marley, watching me through the tunnel.  Its good, Ive planned for this.  When he runs through the tunnel, I will leap at him just before he comes out.  Trapped in the confines of the tunnel, he will go all "ACK, cant jump up, cant go sideways, ACK"!

But he surprises me and runs AROUND the Tunnel Of Doom.  Fortunately, I give him a major lazer blast and he stops in his tracks.

I will hafta rethink my tunnel strategy though...

TBT says theres a story to it. We dont really care.  But its HERE iffen ya wanna read about it.

Meanwhile, we are having fun watchin Iza stare out the door into the night.  She insists there is "somethin"out there.  We looked an there isn't.  She has been a bit nipped lately.  TBT stuffed her favrit shrimp toys in a small container of nip and she has been seeing things since.

Oh say can you see (by the stars-mangled banner) what she is seeing?







We sure cant...  But she insists, and sometimes she just mutters "Spittikins, Spittikins" so we lick her head and talk nice to her...   We havent the heart to tell her she is staring Southeast, not West!
