No, not us! Two other kitties. The Big Thing went off in the noisey machine this light to buy some "pee gravel" (like we couldn't have peed on gravel for him for free) and he came back with 2 surprising tales. We don't know whether to be happy or sad about the stories. He says to be both at the same time, but that's too confoosing. And he dint ekspect he should have the flashy thing with him.
FIRST he went to the bottle and can place that lets him give them away to people who can use them. There was a friendly bean there who helped him unload the boxes of bottles and cans. While there, he saw a small kitty peeking around a corner. He asked the friendly bean who's it was. The response was, still smiling, "Oh it's been around a few months. They came and took the kittens away yesterday". And the friendly bean walked away uncaring...
Our Big Thing spent some time there trying to get an unthreatening look at the mother kitty and he says he saw her many times around corners of huge nasty metal boxes. But he couldn't get near her no matter how still he stood or carefully moved. He wanted to bring her to the V-E-T and then home with us. He says she looked pretty healthy and young... But he finally couldn't even find her anymore and gave up.
Well, duh, she knows where all the good hidey spots are. She just dint know he wanted to give her a forever home.
SECOND, so he went to the place that sells the pee gravel. The person there ignored him, was sullen, and was only innerested in fixing a noisey machine. When The Big Thing finally asked him who to talk to about the pee gravel, he admitted he was the right bean. So he says they had a real good talk for a few minutes. Then a meezer kitty came by and rubbed The Big Thing's shoes.
He asked, "Does that kitty belong to anyone"? And that sullen rude bean smiled all face-lit-up and said that she had showed up a year ago and she was his "little puddie" an he looks forward to seein her every day at the pee gravel place... She ran right to him an he pulled a kitty treat of of his pocket for her.
The Big Thing doesn't know how to handle what he calls "the ironey". The friendly bean at the bottle place doesn't care about the lost mommy kitty who had her kittens taken away and the mean bean at the pee gravel place has such a loving co-nec-shun with the second lost kitty.
He wants that first lost kitty, and so do we. We like brave kitties an we would like to show her what a home is like, an what it is like to get attention and grooming from The Big Thing and us. An we would like to show her our cave an the big safe back yard and all.
The Big Thing wants to go back next light an try an lure it into the "have a heart" cage he got for the annoyin rabbits, but he doesnt know if he should. He says it might be a really wild kitty.
We dont know what to tell him to do...
