I Didn't Say It ....

Janelle Monáe, comes out as pansexual:

“Being a queer black woman in America, someone who has been in relationships with both men and women – I consider myself to be a free-ass motherfucker … but then later I read about pansexuality and was like, ‘Oh, these are things that I identify with too.’ I’m open to learning more about who I am.”

Who you are is who you are.
Welcome out to that!
_____, going cray on FOX & Friends about Comey, his GOP=led DOJ, Ronnie Jackson and, well, read through the lunacy:

“[Comey] said I didn’t stay the night. Of course I stayed there. I stayed there a very short time, well of course I stayed. His memo said I left immediately. I never said that! I never said I left immediately, and you know the funny thing, he does these memos, and then fake news CNN, who’s a total FAKE, you know they give Hillary Clinton the questions to the debate. Can you imagine, by the way, if you gave me the questions to a debate. They would have YOU out of business and they would have ME you better get out of this campaign, they don’t even bring it up. I mean, CNN. FAKE NEWS CNN they actually gave the questions to the debate … think about it. How bad is that? So anyway, Comey leaked, and by the way also, what he did with CNN in order to placate them, you saw that whole scenario. This is a big mistake, this book. He is GUILTY of crimes. And if we had a Justice Department that was doing their job, instead of spending 10 millions dollars … Because of the fact that they have this WITCH HUNT going on with people in the Justice Department who shouldn’t be there. They have a WITCH HUNT against the president of the United States going on. I’ve taken the position – and I don’t have to take this position and maybe I’ll change – that I will not be involved with the Justice Department. I will wait till this is over. It’s a total – it’s all lies and it’s a horrible thing that’s going on. It’s a horrible thing, and yet I’ve accomplished with all of this going on – more than any president in the first year in our history … These are false accusations [against Jackson]. They’re trying to destroy a man. I did say, ‘Welcome to Washington. Welcome to the swamp.’”

Lord. Talk about unhinged. Sarah Palin couldn't have tossed a better word salad!
And this was on Fox!!!
Mick Mulvaney, interim director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, revealed that, as a congressman, he would meet only with lobbyists if they had contributed to his campaign:

“We had a hierarchy in my office in Congress. If you’re a lobbyist who never gave us money, I didn’t talk to you. If you’re a lobbyist who gave us money, I might talk to you.”

And that, ladies and gentleladies, is what’s wrong with Washington.
Pay the coins and you get heard.
Adam Rippon, Olympic skater, at the Time 100 Gala leaving the audience howling:

“I’m really able to be who I am very effortlessly. I met Nicole Kidman earlier tonight and she even let me smell her husband. If it wasn’t for the words that my mom told me, ‘Never give up on your dreams,’ I would never have had that experience.”

Urban admitted later that Rippon really did get a whiff and when he was asked what fragrance he was wearing, Urban said, “My wife!”
Love it!
Rex Tillerson, on who was responsible for his being fired:

“Mm-hmm when you say ‘the White House,’ who are you talking about? The White House is comprised of how many people? But people that matter, people that might have an interest in whether I stay or leave, there’s about one hundred and sixty of them. I know who it is. I knowwho it is. And they know I know.”

It’s Jared; quiet criminal Jared. According to multiple individuals, before Tillerson’s departure, tensions between the two men had been flaring regularly.
And _____ went with Ivanka’s hubby.
Sean Hannity, on the news that he  created multiple shell companies to invest millions in low income housing through an Obama-era loan program now overseen by HUD Secretary Ben Carson—and Hannity never disclosed those deals when Carson appeared on his show:

“It is ironic that I am being attacked for investing my personal money in communities that badly need such investment and in which, I am sure, those attacking me have not invested their money. The fact is, these are investments that I do not individually select, control, or know the details about; except that obviously I believe in putting my money to work in communities that otherwise struggle to receive such support. I have never discussed with anybody at HUD the original loans that were obtained in the Obama years, nor the subsequent refinance of such loans, as they are a private matter. I had no role in, or responsibility for, any HUD involvement in any of these investments. I can say that every rigorous process and strict standard of improvement requirements were followed; all were met, fulfilled and inspected. The LLC’s are REAL companies that spend real investment money on real properties.”

Wow, someone’s really angry. D’ya think he has something to hide?
Thomas Roberts, former NBC anchor, offering more proof that _____  lied to James Comey about not spending the night in Moscow on Pee Weekend:

“The first time I met Donald _____ it was in Moscow on November 8th, 2013. I taped a sit-down interview with _____ the next day on November 9th. That was also the date for the Miss Universe broadcast. During the after-party for the Miss Universe event, Mr. _____ offered to fly me and my husband back to New York. He said he would be leaving directly from the party. We were unable to accept the invitation. That was the early morning hours of November 10th.”

Seriously, every time ____ opens his mouth a lie falls out.
Barack Obama, in an open letter to Parkland survivors:

America’s response to mass shootings has long followed a predictable pattern. We mourn. Offer thoughts and prayers. Speculate about the motives. And then—even as no developed country endures a homicide rate like ours, a difference explained largely by pervasive accessibility to guns; even as the majority of gun owners support commonsense reforms—the political debate spirals into acrimony and paralysis. This time, something different is happening. This time, our children are calling us to account. The Parkland, Florida, students don’t have the kind of lobbyists or big budgets for attack ads that their opponents do. Most of them can’t even vote yet. But they have the power so often inherent in youth: to see the world anew; to reject the old constraints, outdated conventions and cowardice too often dressed up as wisdom. The power to insist that America can be better.
Seared by memories of seeing their friends murdered at a place they believed to be safe, these young leaders don’t intimidate easily. They see the NRA and its allies—whether mealymouthed politicians or mendacious commentators peddling conspiracy theories—as mere shills for those who make money selling weapons of war to whoever can pay. They’re as comfortable speaking truth to power as they are dismissive of platitudes and punditry. And they live to mobilize their peers. Already, they’ve had some success persuading statehouses and some of the biggest gun retailers to change. Now it gets harder. A Republican Congress remains unmoved. NRA scare tactics still sway much of the country. Progress will be slow and frustrating.
But by bearing witness to carnage, by asking tough questions and demanding real answers, the Parkland students are shaking us out of our complacency. The NRA’s favored candidates are starting to fear they might lose. Law-abiding gun owners are starting to speak out. As these young leaders make common cause with African Americans and Latinos—the disproportionate victims of gun violence—and reach voting age, the possibilities of meaningful change will steadily grow.
Our history is defined by the youthful push to make America more just, more compassionate, more equal under the law. This generation—of Parkland, of Dreamers, of Black Lives Matter—embraces that duty. If they make their elders uncomfortable, that’s how it should be. Our kids now show us what we’ve told them America is all about, even if we haven’t always believed it ourselves: that our future isn’t written for us, but by us.

This is how a president talks …
Sadly, our current Liar-In-Thief is too busy sucking Wayne LaPierre’s dick.

I Didn't Say It ...

Kelli Stargel, Florida state Senator and Republican, because, of course, on how to stop gun death:

“When we say ‘thoughts and prayers,’ it’s frowned upon. And I take real offense at that because thoughts and prayers are really the only thing that’s gonna stop the evil from within the individual who is taking up their arms to do this kind of a massacre. It’s not the weapon, it’s the evil from within.”

Seriously. A ‘thought’ will stop gun violence? A prayer? It hasn’t worked yet you ass, so maybe rethink your ignorance.
I pray you’ll find a rational thought in there, though I think you won’t.
Daniel Malloy, Democratic Governor of Connecticut , on the NRA:

“They act, quite frankly, in some cases as a terrorist organization. You want to make safer guns? We will boycott your company. That’s who they are. That’s what they do. The NRA today is a far cry from the NRA that in 1999 said that teachers shouldn’t carry weapons in schools. Or in the 90’s said we should have universal background checks. They have in essence become a terrorist organization.”

Word.
And let’s not forget they’re a homegrown terrorist group that supports and is supported by the GOP.
Tucker Carlson, on _____’s announcement that he’ll take away guns first and then go through due process”

“Now, I mean, how honest do you want to be? Imagine if Barack Obama had said that? Just ignore due process and confiscating guns? Obama would have been denounced as a dictator. We would have denounced him first, trust me. Congress would be talking impeachment. Some would be muttering secession.”

Of course, as happens with _____,. He changed his mind a few hours later after meeting with, and cashing a check from, the NRA.
Alec Baldwin, on playing _____:

“Every time I [play Trump] now, it’s like agony. Agony. I can’t. If things don’t go in the right direction for the midterms. … I could go out on the street, stand on any corner and tap 10 people on the shoulder. And all 10 of them, in all likelihood, would be more qualified — ethically, morally, intellectually and spiritually — than Trump. I’ll vote for Mitt Romney. I don’t care. Anybody over this guy. It doesn’t matter. We have to get rid of him.”

And when _____ Tweeted that Baldwin is a terrible actor, Baldwin released a tweet of his own that said he’s be happiest to keep playing _____ because he wants to be there for the sketches of _____’s impeachment or removal from office.
Stephen Colbert, on former _____ lackey  Sam Nunberg’s epic meltdown:

“Nunberg took over cable TV like a car chase. You know Mueller can arrest you, right? That’s like saying ‘Eat me’ to Hannibal Lecter. This guy is like a Snickers bar — the peanuts just keep coming. I think all of our feelings about Nunberg’s call-ins this afternoon were best summed up by [Jake Tapper’s] face.”

‘Nuff said; these are just the kinds of people _____chooses to surround himself with.
Lee Pace, actor, officially coming out after years of dodging the question:

“In a recent phone interview, I was asked questions that I wasn’t expecting and found myself momentarily at a loss for the right words. My privacy is important to me, so I protect it. When interviewed by the media, I keep the focus on my work. [But] aAs a member of the queer community, I understand the importance of living openly, being counted, and happily owning who I am. That’s how I’ve always lived my life.”

It does make no difference, except to that young kid who looks up to Lee Pace and sasys, ‘If he can be out and proud, I can, too.’
That’s where it matters.
George W. Bush on _____:

“‘Sorta makes me look pretty good, doesn’t it?'”

I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but George W. Bush is not the worst president ever.
Adam Rippon , on rumors that Johnny Weir was jealous of all the attention he was getting.

“Maybe … But you know what, I’m not coming for his job. I’m not coming for his gig … We’ve always reached out to each other and I’ve always thanked him because I’ve always felt like he made my way a little easier …”

Of course he did, because without a Johnny Weir, we might not have had an Adam Rippon.
Weir paved skated the way for Adam.
Chelsea Clinton, on being disappointed that Complicit _____ supports her father’s agenda:

“It’s clear that she has supported policies and decisions that I don’t agree with. I’ve been very vocal about my opposition to President _____. I certainly am just really sad that we’re at a point in time … where we have a president who has such callous disregard for thoughtful, coherent, expert-advised foreign policy. [It] is something I would hope, regardless of where we sit on the political spectrum, we would agree on.”

The difference between a pandering handbag designer , sweatshop boss, and Chelsea Clinton is staggering.
I think Chelsea should run against _____ and wipe the floor with him … then send him and his daughter to prison.
Just a thought.

It's Snarkurday!

I love a proud mom of a gay son, who just wants her boy to be happy.

I’m looking at you, Sally Field, who is trying to hook her gay son Sam Griesman up with Olympic darling … and America’s Sweetheart … Adam Rippon.

It seems that Sam and Sally were watching the Olympics and texting about Adam and how cute he is, and like every mom who wants her son to be happy, Sally decided to hook Sam up with Adam via social media.

After Sam posted the conversation with his mother, Sally tagged Adam on it and told Sam to …
Find a way [to meet Adam].”
And now Adam has responded:
“Sally! She bold.
And then he posted a message for Sam:
“Sam, your mom – I admire her. And I’m sure one day we’re going to meet! So, thanks, mom.”
And I’m sure Sally will make that meeting happen … and she will be there!
For years Jamie Foxx and his BFF Tom Cruise’s ex, Katie Holmes, have been bumping uglies dating but they almost never talk about it and are rarely seen together. But recently the two have been spotted holding hands on long romantic beach walks, but that just may be a hallucination, because Jamie Foxx will walk out on you if you bring up her name.

Recently, Foxx played in the NBC All-Star Celebrity Game and was interviewed by ESPN beforehand. He seemed in good spirits, but then interviewer Michael Smith asked about Katie, and the photos that surfaced of Foxx and Holmes playing basketball together on Valentine’s Day:
“I know you’ve prepared and I saw pictures. Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real Love & Basketball?”
Foxx instantly got his panties in a snit and had his assistant remove him from the interview as he refused to answer the question.

Note to self: don’t ask Jamie about Katie. Like that would ever happen because I could care less about the two of them, handholding or not.

Still, it was fun to see Jamie Foxx get all pissy.
Speaking of love … no matter how many of you want it to happen, I don’t think Brad and Jen are gonna get back together.

Dry your eyes. According to sources—and it’s not La Jolie—Brad has not reached out to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston since her split from “bouncy jogger” Justin Theroux. But, Brad did say he was “sad” about the split: “Brad is of course sad to hear the news about Jen’s divorce. He only wishes the best for her. However, Brad hasn’t reached out to Jen, and has no plans to do so at this point.”

Again, dry your eyes, plus, there’s this …?
Were Jen and Justin even really married?

Aniston and Theroux had a wedding at their Bel-Air manse in 2015, but TMZ says that they checked the marriage records in L.A. County and didn’t find a marriage license for them. TMZ says they went as far back as 2010.

Was it a wedding, or just a really expensive commitment ceremony?

Now, the now-unhappy couple could have gotten a marriage license in any of the 57 other counties in California, but several people close to Aniston say there have long been rumors that there was no legal marriage.
Tribeca residents better be nice because Taylor Swift is buying up blocks of real estate in the area and, if they’re mean, they might be the target of an entire album of stupid pop songs about mean people.

Swifty just purchased a $9.75 million apartment at 155 Franklin St. where she already owns an 8,000-square-foot penthouse duplex; last fall she bought a three-story townhouse next door, at 153 Franklin, for $18 million.

And already the neighbors are annoyed:
“We don’t need celebrities here that will draw the focus [of] the paparazzi or extra fan attention. [There’s already a] small swarm of teenage girls lurking and swooning outside [Swift’s home regularly].”
And clearly, that neighbor isn’t the only one irked at the Swift Invasion; days after Swifty purchased the townhouse, someone posted a flier that said—“Taylor Swift Can Go F–k Herself”—to  a Tribeca lamppost.

And brokers don’t like her either, it seems, because the firm of Douglas Elliman is suing her for unpaid commissions of $1.6 million related to the townhouse sale.

Wow; if this keeps up there will be several Swift albums about mean neighbors and bad realtors.
On the other side of the coin, the side being the one where the star can no longer avoid real state purchases, we find one Lisa Marie Presley. Despite being the sole heir to the Kingdom of The King, Lisa Marie claims to be in debt to the tune of $16 million.

In her ongoing divorce from her third, or fourth, husband, Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie claims she owes over $16 million, with more than $10 million of that coming from unpaid taxes between 2012 and 2015. Lisa Marie is also trying to unload her home in England ever since she defaulted on that mortgage—another $6 million. The rest of her money woes are tied up in credit card debt and unpaid attorney bills.

Lisa Marie’s financial woes came to light last year when she accused her managers of decimating her $300 million fortune. Now, she is ALLEGEDLY living rent-free with her daughter, Riley Keough, while her twin daughters are staying with Grandma Priscilla.

Lisa Marie sold off 85% of Elvis Presley Enterprises in 2004 for $100 million, but the estate still brings in $20 million each year.  If she’s not careful, Lisa Marie’s next home might be In The Ghetto or Jailhouse Rock or Love Me With Legal Tender.

Just a thought … why doesn’t Lisa Marie write those nasty neighbor songs for Swifty since Swifty is loaded; the Lisa Marie can pay off her debts and Swifty might actually put out a tune that doesn’t sound like something a cat coughed up on the rug.
Talk about your odd couplings …

Queen Elizabeth II was front row … the f**king front row … at London Fashion Week and she was seated right next to Anna “Nuclear” Wintour!

The Queen surprised many who thought she knew nothing about fashion, and many in the crowd were certain Anna would bitchslap Her Royal Highness for those hats.

But the Queen of England and the Queen of Fashion played nice, and even smiled and chatted with one another, though I assume that QEII wasn’t exactly sure who Wintour was and why she didn’t take off those damned glasses.

I mean, the Queen had plenty of room in her bag to hold them if that’s what was worrying Anna.

I Didn't Say It ...

Adam Rippon, US Olympic figure skater, on how his life has changed since coming out and taking on Bigot Pence:

“Being here at the Olympics it does give me a louder voice. And I’ve got a big mouth and a loud voice. But it has given men a platform. I think it’s so important that I use this platform to my advantage. I think that me using my voice has given my skating a greater purpose. I’ve gotten so many messages from young kids all over the country that my story has resonated with them and it’s incredibly powerful…In the past week I’ve heard a lot of people like, ‘whoa, Adam Rippon should tone it down.’ I can’t tone it down. I’m being me. And I’m being myself. And I’d be doing myself an injustice, and I’d be doing an injustice to those kids who don’t feel like they’re comfortable to be themselves. I talked to you about how I felt before the Games. And you know, it’s brought a lot of attention and questions to my other teammates. I don’t want to distract from their Olympic experience and I don’t want my Olympic experience to be about Mike Pence.”

We don’t want anything to be about Mike Pence, but thanks for standing up nonetheless.
Antonio Sabato Jr., is running for Congress in California and playing the Obama is a Muslim card:

“No, what I was saying was he changed his name to ‘Obama’ because he followed the Islam religion when he was growing up. So I felt once you’re in that religion, you stay for the rest of your life.”

As Judge Judy says, beauty fades but dumb is forever…and now it’s running for Congress.
Joe Biden, suggesting _____ may be compromised by Russia and Putin:

“Look, you know, I want to give every American, including the president, the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t fathom any reason other than he is concerned of what Putin might say or do, or what information he may or may not have.”

Come on, Joe, take him on. Run!
Andrew Garfield, actor, one again saying he is heterosexual, but can see himself having sex with a man:

“Up until this point, I’ve only been sexually attracted to women. My stance toward life, though, is that I always try to surrender to the mystery of not being in charge. I think most people — we’re intrinsically trying to control our experience here, and manage it, and put walls around what we are and who we are. I want to know as much of the garden as possible before I pass — I have an openness to any impulses that may arise within me at any time. But, if I were to identify, I would identify as heterosexual, and being someone who identifies that way, and who’s taking on this seminal role, my scariest thought was, Am I allowed to do this?”

So, you’re straight but you might have sex with men, but you’ve never had sex with men and you’re straight and attracted to women?
Have I got that queer?
Siddown. You’re just posing.
Jennie Willoughby, ex-wife of former White House staff secretary and alleged abuser, Rob Porter, on _____’s skepticism that she was a victim of domestic abuse:

“In light of the President’s and the White House’s continued dismissal of me and Colbie, I want to assure you my truth has not been diminished. I own my story and now that I have been compelled to share it, I’m not willing to cover it up for anyone. And for any men, women, or children currently in situations of abuse, please know: It is real. You are not crazy. You are not alone. I believe you.”

Of course a sexual predator and abuser will always stand by another abuser.
It’s what they do. I believe the women.
Mick Mulvaney, _____lackey, defending the President-For-Now and his Tweet defending abuser Rob Porter:

“What I think you saw there was a couple of different things. That tweet we can be applied to a bunch of different people. When I saw the tweet, I noticed Rob Porter wasn’t mentioned. I had wondered if he was talking about his friend Steve Wynn who has been essentially condemned without due process. What you also saw that from the president is a certain sadness that somebody that he liked had let him down.”

So, it boils down to this:_____ has so many domestic abusers around him that Mulvaney wasn’t sure who he was talking about.
Gregg Popovich, San Antonio Spurs coach, on why it's important for the NBA to promote Black History Month:

"We live in a racist country… And it's always important to bring attention to it, even if it angers some people."

Plus, and get this clear, Black History is American History; it’s part of this country and to ignore or act like it’s for someone else is to diminish all history.
Jeff Sessions, our National Keebler Elf and Attorney General, might just be a white supremacist:

"I want to thank every sheriff in America. Since our founding, the independently elected sheriff has been the people's protector, who keeps law enforcement close to and accountable to people through the elected process. The office of sheriff is a critical part of the Anglo-American heritage of law enforcement."

Anglo: a white, English-speaking American as distinct from a Hispanic American.
Yup. And it turns out that using the phrase "Anglo-American heritage" seems to have been an impromptu decision by Sessions because a written version of his remarks didn’t contain that phrase, but used the words … “The sheriff is a critical part of our legal heritage" … instead.
Anderson Cooper, on the Fox News asshat John Moody’s assertion—that has since been deleted, that the motto of the Olympics, “Faster, Higher, Stronger”, might have been changed to “Darker, Gayer, Different”:

“First of all, darker, gayer, different is a terrible motto for the Olympics. It’s not a bad motto for a gay bar, I’ll give you that, but I’ll just assume those aren’t Mr. Moody’s favorite watering holes. Apparently Mr. Moody likes his Winter Olympics like he likes his orthodontia – straight, white, and all the same. [But] why is he clutching his pearls in fear and outrage over Team USA? Well it turns out that of over 244 athletes on the team, two of them had the courage to say openly and proudly that they’re gay. And as for the darker part of Mr. Moody’s Olympic fever dream? 10 [athletes]. Does this guy seriously have so little to do that he’s sitting around worrying that people who have no athletic ability get put on an Olympic team just because they’re gay or African American? And does it strike anyone else as hugely inappropriate that a guy who’s apparently high up at a news organization is upset about another organization striving for diversity? Moody’s comments might be funny if he was just a crank standing out on the street corner on Sixth Avenue outside Fox & Friends trying to get his sign on camera with a sign saying ‘darker, gayer, different’…but he is actually inside the building in a top position…I don’t know exactly what he does. It doesn’t sound like he does much – but as a gay man, if I was working under him, I sure would not feel all that welcome.”

It’s Fox News; stupid makes the news. Ignorance rules; bigotry and homophobia and asshattery are the norm.
