A Little Snark For Saturday ...

I’ve said it once; I’ve said it a hundred times; I’ll say it again: Do not get into a fight with Naomi Campbell. I still have the Blackberry dent in my forehead from where she beaned me with her phone. But, but, if you’re gonna throw down with Campbell, maybe ask model Cara Delevingne to back you up.
See, Naomi and Cara ALLEGEDLY got into a catfight after a shrieking fit turned into fisticuffs during Paris Fashion Week. Witnesses — and it was probably Lohan working as a cater waiter  — say Naomi was shouting at Cara, and then the pushing and shoving started. Cara snatched some of Naomi’s weave out her head and Campbell got in a couple of swings, but ... what started the brawl?
Rihanna. The witness — again, Hi LiLo — says, “Naomi accused Cara of ‘disrespecting’ Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back.”
One source — Team Cara — says, “It was a noisy and packed party. Naomi was saying all these nonsensical things, she was ranting. There was a messy pushing match. Cara didn’t understand because there’s no problem between her and Rihanna. Cara didn’t want to be involved and was telling Naomi, ‘Get away from me!’ ”
But another source — Team Naomi — says, Campbell had been chatting with Dakota Fanning, and added, “Naomi didn’t do anything wrong. We are talking about a very tiny club in Paris with a very busy table — if someone pushes someone, it’s because there is no space.”
Naomi later went partying at Up and Down’s pop-up at Raspoutine, where a spy said, “Everyone was talking about the drama with Cara, but Naomi just smiled angelically.”
And held onto her phone.

First off, when you hire Christina Aguilera, you know you’re hiring a diva, right? So then why get all pissy when the diva goes diva?
Well, sources — it might be Britney this time cuz she hates Xtina — say Xtina went overboard with her demands during a guest appearance on Nashville, where she’s playing pop diva with a stripper name, Jade St. John:
“She’s asked for not one but three hairdressers to be on call 24 hours a day because she’s so worried about what the Nashville weather will do to her hair. And her wardrobe options are twice the size of anyone else’s. She insisted that she looks sexier than any other cast member and even wants her heels to be the highest.”
First off, I get the three hairdressers; I mean, it takes a village to get that platinum looking platinum every day, especially in the Tennessee humidity!
But, maybe Xtina was just maintaining her diva-tude from The Voice? See, after coming back from maternity leave, Xtina ALLEGEDLY reminded everyone on the show why they hate her:
"Christina is such a terror to work with. She is frequently late and she doesn’t even seem to care or apologize for holding up the filming of the show. To make matters worse, she is constantly fighting with Adam. They cannot stand each other.”
Maybe Xtina learned the public preferred Gwen Stefani or Shakira to her, and when the producers tried to get either woman back on the show — on a temporary basis — Xtina shut it down! She ALLEGEDLY wants to be the only woman on the show and that may actually be in her contract.
But, like I said, you hire Xtina, you expect diva, so when you get diva, you just need to sit down.

So, y’all remember that Pamela Anderson remarried her ex-husband, Rick Salomon, back in 2013 or early 2014 — no one seems exactly sure — and then filed for divorce just six months later? And then she asked a judge to dismiss the divorce filing, only to refile aging this year.
Straight people and marriage; how come no one wants to legislate that?
Anyway … now things are messy.  Pam has gotten a restraining order against Rick, claiming that there is a “pattern of abuse” and that he hurt her. In fact, she says that while they were married he ALLEGEDLY tried to smother her while they were having sex. The restraining order also claims that when Salomon is “upset,” he calls her “cruel names” such as “slut,” “ugly old b––” and “crack whore.”
Let’s see: rough sex, and dirty names; it sounds like a drunken night gone too far.
But Anderson ALLEGEDLY kept all his crazy texts and emails, like the ones in which he calls her a “cutter” and a “serial baby killer with her husbands.” He also claims she had begged him to get her pregnant while they were married and accused her of being a fraud because the PETA diva eats fish.
Gosh; I think these crazy kids will patch this up and get back together, and then divorce next year. Or … they won’t patch this up, and they will get divorced, and then get married again next year.
Again, why doesn’t anyone want to legislate against these opposite sex couples making a mockery of marriage? Oh yeah … straight.

It must be like a circus inside Kanye’s head, with all those voices telling him to do and say crazy things … like when he said that the President of the United States, Barack Obama, calls him at home just to talk. The same Obama that called Kanye as ‘ass’ after his running the stage on Taylor Swift at the VMA’s.
Except, that while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week and asked about calling Kanye, Obama said, “I don’t think I’ve got his home number.”
Well, some paparazzi caught up with Kanye later and told him that Obama denied the phone story, and the voices in Kanye’s head said:
“I love Obama. He called our house before. He knows that. Don’t try to pit us against each other. I love Obama.”
So basically, if you call Kanye out for lying, you’re trying to pit him against the person he’s lying about.
Kanye. Dial down the voices, hon, the Krazy if getting’ real.

Wow, Justin Bieber got into a wee fight with David Arquette at his 21st birthday bash last weekend in Vegas.
Rumor has it that Arquette was “pretty messed up” by the time the after-party kicked off in the birthday boy’s suite, and was openly “talking about Bieber behind his back.”
And Justin don’t roll like that: “Justin heard what David had been saying, and threw him out of his suite with the help of a friend, because they didn’t have security up there. Somehow David managed to get back in and rushed at Bieber to take him out. There was a confrontation, then other people got in the way to separate them. David was thrown out again, this time for good.”
Still, the bigger question is why is forty-three-year-old David Arquette going to a twenty-one-year-old Justin Bieber’s birthday party? Seriously, get drunk with friends your own age.

I Didn't Say It........

Matt Damon, to teachers:
"So, the next time you’re feeling down, or exhausted, or unappreciated, or at the end of your rope; the next time you turn on the TV and see yourself being called “overpaid”; the next time you encounter some simple-minded, punitive policy that’s been driven into your life by some corporate reformer who has literally never taught anyone anything, please, please, please know that there are millions of us behind you. You have an army of regular people standing right behind you and our appreciation for what you do is so deeply felt. We love you, we thank you and we will always have your back."

Nicely put.
As the son of a teacher, and the product of teachers, many of them extraordinary, we need to do all we can for them.
For without teachers we might are be illiterate, uninformed, incoherent, Michele Bachmannites.
Just sayin'.

Dr. Keith Ablow, writing for Fox News, as an asshat:
"I advise parents to not allow their children to watch the episodes in which Chaz appears....Chaz Bono should not be applauded for asserting she is a man (and goes about trying to look like one) any more than a woman who believes she will be happier without arms, has them removed and then continues to assert that she was right all along—her self-concept was that of a double amputee. Now, all is well. Chaz Bono should not be applauded any more than someone who, tragically, believes that his species, rather than gender, is what is amiss and asks a plastic surgeon to build him a tail of flesh harvested from his abdomen. If only a plastic surgeon would acquiesce, all would be well."

Hey, um, "Doctor"?
STFU.
Chaz is not asserting anything other than dancing.
HE, yes, motherfucker, HE, has the same rights to be on some cheesy reality show as anyone else. And if you don't like it, fine, then you don't watch. But don't spread fear and hate and bigotry and intolerance.
Seriously.
STFU.

Judith WeismanLiberty University law professor, on all gays--and women--being pedophiles:
"We know that pedophilia, which was the original Greek they say it’s ‘love of’ but of course it isn’t, it’s ‘lust for’ boys. And there’s a strong, clear, cross-cultural, historical reality, people don’t want to do deal with, but the propaganda has been loud and strong to deny the fact, the aim of homosexual males and now increasingly females is not to have sex with other old guys and get married but to obtain sex with as many boys as possible. That’s the reality. I wish it weren’t, but it is."

Hey "Professor"?
STFU.
Any idiot with an education and an internet connection can discover that the majority--and it's well over 90%--of pedophiles are heterosexual men.
Heterosexual men.
Pedophilia, child molestation, child rape, are not sex acts, but acts of power over someone else. The pedophile feels so inadequate that they must molest young boys and girls in order to feel a sense of power and control.
It isn't about sex any more than you are about education.
Seriously.
STFU.

Kathy Griffin, on how Marcus Bachmann is her act and her audience:
"Okay, he's very anti-gay and LGBT rights, and it's odd, because if you look at him on YouTube, it's almost as if he himself... or, it's as if...I would say that Marcus Bachmann reminds me of a lot of the type of men who come see my live shows...And he wants people to 'pray the gay away' and so I was going to call the special 'Pray the Gay Back'" but Bravo changed it to Pants Off."

Marcus Bachmann is probably getting a little tingly in his nether region at the words "Pants Off" though.
You go get 'em Kathy.
He'll be enraged, maybe, but he'll be watching....and watching again when Michele goes to her own room for the night.

Joe Solmonese, of the HRC, on the mistrial in the Lawrence King murder case:
“It is disappointing that the criminal justice system has failed to bring closure to the family, friends and community that loved Lawrence. In the wake of the mistrial, and in honor of Lawrence, we will continue our efforts to prevent these types of tragedies by working with school districts across our nation to stamp out the ignorance and prejudice that led to Lawrence’s death. It’s up to the adults around children to call out that early behavior and prejudice, and to explain that the differences among us are part of what makes us strong: that being different is not something to attack, but to appreciate. If Lawrence or Brandon had lived in that world, their lives might not have collided in tragedy and death.”

It's a sad world where one young boy can take a loaded gun into school, walk up behind another young boy, shoot him in the back of the head, and have a mistrial declared.
It's also a sad world when just expressing your love, your attraction, your like, to another human being can result in your being murdered.

Lacey Schwimmer, Chaz Bono's DWTS partner, on the "controversy:
"No human is perfect, so why are they pointing out what they perceive to be an imperfection in someone else? It's not cool. We’re all taught to not bully, or harass, and treat everyone as equals yet all these people are doing exactly the opposite...At the end of the day, everyone is going to have a hater. I choose not to listen to it, because it’s ridiculous. To us, it’s more important to focus on the positive people. I was absolutely thrilled [to be paired with Chaz]. I’ve always been a huge supporter of the LGBT community and I couldn’t be more excited to have Chaz. Not only is he Sonny & Cher’s child but he’s also a generally cool person...This is my sixth season -- the producers know that I’m very open-minded and really accepting of everyone. Ever since Lance [Bass] was on the show, it opened the door for the LGBT community to be accepted in Middle America and it’s about time. It’s 2011, let’s evolve a little bit here."

Oh, I think we need to evolve all the way.
But, it's a step.

Rick Perry, speaking to evangelicals and teabaggers, about any secrets--i.e. rumors that he's a flamer--in his life:
"I can assure you that there is nothing in my life that will embarrass you if you decide to support me for president."

Other than the fact that you are a lying, pandering, big business, non-job creating, pray the drought away, bigoted asshat who looks and acts and walks and talks like W.
And, since we've been down that road before, I certainly hope we are smart enough not to go back.

Bryan Fischer, of the AFA,  on recriminalizing homosexuality, and passing laws outlaw unprotected sex:
"What I’m suggesting is that we enact ordinances in city after city and laws in state after state that mandate that same exact penalty - whatever penalty gay activists think is appropriate - for unprotected homosexual sex. Hey, if it’s good enough for porn stars, it should be good enough for the average gay man on the street. And if someone wants to extend that same penalty to unmarried straights who have sex, who am I to complain?"

This is so over the top as to be incomprehensible.
Outlaw being gay?
Outlaw unprotected sex for everyone who isn't a married heterosexual?
Seriously, is the Delusional Bus ever gonna pick this fucktard up and take him away?

Jane Lynch speaks out about hosting Emmys:
"I'm a person, not just a gay person. So I don't focus on gay things like [my sexuality]. I just focus on good jokes and being funny. I've thought of every aspect of it, I'm very much collaborating with everybody."

She isn't the "gay" host. She's the host.
Just like NPH.
When we limit ourselves to one defining identity, i.e. gay, we limit ourselves completely.
We are not gay people.
We are people who are gay.
Subtle, yes, but still a difference.

Gary DeMar, "evangelist", on a Gay Death Penalty being enacted Christians achieve dominion over the United States:
"Obviously, certain sins often may escape detection. Homosexuals who practice behind closed doors are out-of-bounds for the courts, of course, unless others witness their criminal behavior. Such behavior may not be dealt with by courts in history, but will be dealt with by God, either in history (e.g., AIDS) or eternity. The law that requires the death penalty for homosexual acts effectually drives the perversion of homosexuality underground, back to the closet, to the dark realm of shameful activity."

So, this "man of god' wants to Kill The Gays.
And keeps spreading the myth that AIDS is god's punishment for being gay, even though straight men and women, and even children have died as a result of AIDS.
It's punishment.
Look, fucktard, I ain't goin' back in the closet.
None of us are.....so, deal.

Oscar De La Hoya, former boxer, on those 2007 photos that showed him in full-body fishnet drag, but blaming it on cocaine and alcohol addiction which he says he has since conquered:
"Let me to tell you, yes, yes, it was me. I am tired now of lying, of lying to the public and of lying to myself."

So, he puts on a fishnet body-suit and a wig and some make-up and poses for pictures and then denies that it's him for four years.
Until he decides to admit it's him, but that it was cocaine and booze that made him do it?
Maybe if he'd admitted it right away he could have gotten sober sooner.

David Arquette, on his fellow DWTS "star" Rob Kardashian's backside:
"The thing about Rob is, and a lot of people don't know this, but he's got a great ass just like his sister...I'm serious! Once you see it, his ass is fantastic...And I really think it's going to be a secret weapon."

David sounds like he's up for trading dance partners so he can grab a coupla handfuls of Kardashian boy booty.
And yet, I don't hear any outrage about that.

Troy Aikman, former Dallas Cowboy, holding a grudge for Skip Bayless speculating that Aikman was gay...FIFTEEN YEARS AGO:
"When a guy like that comes out and, whether it's intimated or stated, and there's no substance to that claim, and he's doing it purely to gain interest in a book, that's a problem...I will tell you this. I've not seen -- I've not physically seen Skip Bayless since that time. That was in '95. And I still kind of wonder what I might do to him when I do see him."

Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
It's been FIFTEEN years, Troy.
Build a bridge and get your ALLEGEDLY straight ass over it.

I Ain't One To Gossip, But.....

Uh oh.
Even I know there are certain things you can't get away with, like calling Anna Wintour a bitch, but someone needs to give Lady Gaga that tidbit of info.
Gaga was recently honored at the CFDA Fashion Awards with the coveted...really?... Fashion Icon Award, and told an amusing 'story' of how she received the news.
“When I was told I won this award, [Vogue editor] Anna Wintour sent me a text message. She text messages,” Gaga said during her speech. “So she sent me a text message, and it said, ‘We’re so excited to tell you you won the CFDA Fashion Icon Award. And I actually thought it was Anna Treblin, who was one of my very close friends and [my stylist] Nicola’s assistant.”
Okay, you thought your 'friend' Anna would say something like 'we're so excited to tell you'? Keep going.
“So I have a couple Annas in my phone, so my reply was, ‘Yes, bitch, we did it.’ So quite quickly I got a reply that said, ‘How lovely, and we will all be waiting to see what you will wear.’ And then I thought, ‘Well won’t you be helping me choose what I will wear?’ And then I said, ‘Oh! It’s Anna Wintour,’” she added.
She.Called.Anna.Wintour.A.Bitch.
And lived to tell the tale.

Poor Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I know, I said poor Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I should have said stupid, because, well, what did she expect from the MGB? Y'all remember when MGB® was runnin' fer vice president and Hasselbeck flew all over the country to kiss her ass, er, introduce at rallies? Hasselbeck was on Team MGB®.
Now, though, not so much. Now it seems that the former BFF's haven't spoken in months and all because of something Lizzie said on 'The View'.
A friend--and by friend I mean Sherri Shepard, who doesn't know when to close her yap--says, "I think Elisabeth is a good friend. She remembers birthdays and even with a busy schedule always takes time to stay in touch with her girlfriends. But S____ has let her down. Elisabeth has reached out to her several times but she never responds."
So why has the MGB® gone all silent treatment on Hasselbeck?
Well, Lizzie recently accused Sarah of "manipulating" the media to draw attention away from the more-serious Mitt Romney, and Hasselbeck actually mocked MGB®'s bus tour as yet another attempt to dominate the headlines, like when MGB® rolled through New Hampshire on the day Mitt announced his run for the White House.
Lizzie ranted, on 'The View,' "If I had termites [her metaphor for the economy] in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it. Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because S____ P____'s on a bus, and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."
Lizzie also condemned MGB®'s "crosshairs" imagery on a fundraising website, calling them "despicable" after Gabrielle Giffords, one of her 'targets' in the 2010 campaign, was shot during a voter meet-and-greet.
That insider--Hi Sherri!--says, "Elisabeth feels used by S____. When she needed her, she was all over Elisabeth and now she treats her like a stranger. It's sad."
So, MGB® is a manipulator and a user. We knew that, and now it just proves how stupid Hasslebeck is because she never got it.

Just a couple of weeks back, I talked about Zach Galifianakis going off on 'MadMen' star January Jones when she dissed him at an awards dinner.
I didn't know much about him, but I liked his style.
Now, Zach Galifianakis has words for a few other celebrities.
First off, in a Rolling Stone interview, he gives us his spin on self-proclaimed trashy pop star, Ke$ha: "I saw that Ke$ha woman the other day. She was sitting by herself, and I walked up to her and said, 'Listen, I got your e-mail. Your music is really bad! I don't know who listens to it, but I imagine it's, like, six-year-olds -- and it's a bad message.'"
And then he has a message for the little kids who stop him on the street and say they loved him in 'The Hangover'. He tells them they have awful parents, and "I mean it," he adds.
And he has a Sean Penn story. It seems that when Penn offered Galifianakis a role in 'Into the Wild,' Zach, ever the professional actor, said he couldn't talk because he had an appointment at Arby's and to "send my Jews the script."
So, either he's opinionated, and rather inclined to share his opinions about everyone with everyone, or he's being funny. Either way, he's always interesting.

Divas don't come tinier or more demanding than Prince.
In fact, the artist still known as Prince, does not want his picture taken. By anyone. Y'hear me, David Arquette?
Prince, a notorious control freak when it comes to his image, instructs his team of ushers on his concert tour to vigilantly enforce the no-photo rule, even if people try to snap them on their cell phones. And yet, the Little Diva actually encourages fans at his shows to take out their cell phones and wave them in the air like we did in the olden days, with lighters and such. And then he lets people snap a picture or two.
Crazy say what?
See, at one recent show, Mister Courtney Cox, AKA David Arquette, used his cell phone to take a picture of the wee one, and guards instantly descended on him. Arquette tried to talk his way out of it, and pointed out that other fans were using their cell phones to take pictures, too, because Prince had decreed that it was acceptable.
Prince's Flying Monkeys, er, guards, weren't buting it.
Arquette was given the boot. The size four sequined boot.

New Yorkers aren't easily pissed off. It usually takes a lot to rile 'em up.
But the Black Eyed Peas did it, and did it good.
At a concert in Central Park, the Peons, er, Peas, kept thousands of former fans waiting in the heat for six hours, and then made them wait two extra hours in the rain, and then said they weren't gonna perform and get all wet and stuff.
Brian Moriarty, of Queens, asked: "What, Will.I.Am can't play in the rain? Is Fergie's hair gonna get wet?"
Yes, and yes, Brian.
The pre-show festivities, featuring Taylor Swift, Carole King and Tony Bennett were set to begin at 5 but were delayed due to bad weather, leaving folks like Moriarty stranded in the sopping wet heat waiting for the gates to open. And open, the gates did, at 7:45, but just as fans found their space on the lawn, the police department announced they were shutting everything down due to lightning.
And the crowd goes wild!
"We won't go," chanted the crowd of some 20,000. And they meant it; police had to close in on the groups who believed that by squatting in the meadow they would be treated to the Peas' musical stylings.
Now, of course, the weather is certainly beyond the control of the Peas, but they've yet to apologize or reschedule the concert. Fergie ALLEGEDLY said she was 'bummed' about the cancellation, but I don't think she was as bummed as 20,000 people leaving the park in the rain, in search of a cab.
Note to the Peas; a little archival search on Diana Ross, performing in the park, in the wind and rain and lightning, back in 1983.
Suh-nap. They don't call her Miss Ross for nuthin'.
