Oh the things we do for love …

Backstory; several years ago my father had knee replacement surgery and I was out in Oregon helping with his recovery. He told me one day over breakfast that the pain pills made him constipated and the laxatives weren’t working so I might have to give him an enema. Long story short; my father dropped his pants, bent over the bathtub, and I did the deed.

Why tell that story now? Carlos has been having some stomach issues and his doctor requested a, um, er, sample. So Tuesday morning he had to use a human litter box, sans litter of course, and then scoop the poop into three small bottles. And because of his eyesight I was the one scooping the poop … after wearing several pairs of gloves and a COVID mask and then bleaching my fingers.

Again, what we do for love.

A reporter from The Atlantic recently asked Arizona Democrat Senator Mark Kelly if he thought the country was “ready to have a disabled first lady” should Kelly run for president. It was a stupid, rude, insensitive question which Kelly answered like this:

"In my opinion, we have a disabled president right now."

Kelly was defending his wife, former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who survived a 2011 assassination attempt that left her with speech difficulties and some paralysis.

That’s how it’s done.

Well, apparently the lettuce responsible for the explosive diarrhea outbreak came from a  company called Taylor Farms lettuce.

But then Taylor Farms parent company, Taylor Fresh Foods, met with FDA and White House officials to discuss the situation; of note is that Taylor Fresh Foods wrote a $1 million dollar check to Cankles’ MAGA Inc super PAC back in March 2025.

And now the FDA says the positive sample was a "false positive," even as CDC traceback data keeps pointing back to Taylor Farms. Sure, maybe it really was a lab error but when regulators change their story right after a closed-door meeting with the same company that funded Cankles’ PAC skepticism isn't paranoia, it's just paying attention.

I read on Facebook that the big boss at Taylor Fresh Foods, Bruce Taylor, should sit down and have a big salad of Taylor Farms lettuce and then tell us all again about how his product is okay.

I see a boycott coming …. 

Ohio GOP Senator Bernie Moreno has introduced the “Countering Atmospheric Nuisances Arising from Drifting Airborne Foreign Incendiary Residual Emissions Act” or the CANADA FIRE Act ordering sanctions, including a ban on U.S. government contracts with Canada because wildfire smoke from Canada is drifting over the United States.

I’m surprised he hasn’t filed a lawsuit against the wind.

Another week down, with a hit of good news from SCOTUS for a change which spurred a lie-filled rage speech from Cankles about the “Democratic SCOTUS;” poor delusional old man. And of course the State of the Union speech is Tuesday and the Democrats, many of them at least, may not show up, going instead to a rally on the National Mall.

I am not in favor. I think they should show up, and say and do nothing, other than perhaps raising small signs that could say anything from “Release the Files” to “Say Their Names,” or perhaps show photos of the victims demanding accountability from the regime.

That would rattle Cankles and send him off-script into an insane rage-a-thon, which I won’t be watching because I can neither look at his decaying personage nor listen to his ignorant voice.

That said …

Pope Leo has rejected Cankles’ invitation to “America 250” Festivities in Washington DC because he wants to spend the day with migrants instead.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent claimed that in spite of the Supreme Court’s decision to block Cankles’ illegal tariffs the regime would initiate new tariffs imposed under other statutes ensuring the revenue grift remains unchanged. He also said Americans who paid for the tariffs through higher prices will never see a rebate of that money.

The FBI formally notified the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension [BCA] that it will not provide them with access to any information or evidence that it has collected in the January 24 ICEstapo murder of Alex Pretti.

In February 2026, a rumor spread that Bo French, a GOP candidate for the Texas Railroad Commission, which regulates oil and gas, wanted to deport Native Americans. Several social media posts made the claim, including on Facebook, where one user said French had called for the deportation of “third world savages” including Native Americans. French says it never happened but here’s a direct quote from his X account:

“Since we are going to denaturalize and deport all the third world savages who hate our country, I am calling for adding these third world savages, who we conquered, then bizarrely let have a nation inside our nation, to the list. “

We let native peoples have a nation in our nation? Or did we steal their nation to create our own, give them a few crumbs of land and then take it back.

This Bitch: Border Barbie AKA Dog Killer AKA Kristi Noem

California Democrat Representative Robert Garcia recently confronted Homeland Security Secretary Border Barbie AKA Dog Killer AKA Kristi Noem about the administration sending a gay man to a prison camp in El Salvador and not even knowing if he’s still alive.

Kristi Noem said that it wasn’t her problem; oh, and before anyone tells me that the photo at the top isn’t Noem I will tell you that it is her before the myriads of procedures she’s had to make herself feel better about herself though she still has a black heart and no soul.

Noem appeared before the House Homeland Security Committee for that hearing where Garcia asked her about Andry Hernandez Romero, a gay hairdresser from Venezuela who came to the US legally … let’s say that again, LEGALLY …to escape anti-LGBTQ+ violence in Venezuela. ICE picked him up and he wasn’t sent back home, but to CECOT concentration camp in El Salvador, which is known for torturing inmates.

Noem has sent numerous immigrants like Andry to the CECOT without letting courts determine if they were in the country illegally or if they had committed any crimes and so far this Nazi with better hair has refused to try to bring anyone back from the camp. But Garcia had just one question for Border Barbie:

“Would you commit to just letting his mother know—as a mother-to-mother—if Andry is alive? He was given an asylum appointment by the United States government. We gave him an appointment, we said, Andry, come to the border at this time and claim asylum, he was taken to a foreign prison in El Salvador. His mother just wants to know if he’s alive. Can we check and do a wellness check on him?”

“This isn’t under my jurisdiction,” Noem said and then added that she doesn’t “know the specifics” of Hernandez Romero’s case but that since he’s in El Salvador, Garcia should be asking El Salvador’s government about him.

Bitch, your people, YOUR PEOPLE, arrested him and sent him there. Are you suggesting your job is just to round up the brown people with the odd names and send them to concentration camps in foreign countries but that’s where your involvement ends? Robert Garcia reminded Border Barbie AKA Nazi Noem, that she said that the Salvadoran prison is a “tool in our toolkit” for fighting crime:

“You and the president have the ability to check that Andry is alive and not being harmed. Would you commit into at least looking and asking El Salvador if he is alive?”

Noem told Garcia to ask the president and government of El Salvador.

Andry Hernandez Romero is a Venezuelan immigrant who trekked to the US border last year and entered legally at San Diego, where he asked for asylum, saying that he was being targeted in Venezuela for being gay and for his political beliefs. He was held in a CoreCivic detention center; Andry’s lawyer, Lindsay Toczylowski, says:

“The government had found that his threats against him were credible and that he had a real probability of winning an asylum claim.”

Even more disgusting, it has been revealed that the evidence Immigration and Customs Enforcement [ICE] had against Hernandez Romero was his tattoos … much like Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s so-called gang tattoos. It was reported that Andry Hernandez Romero had crown tattoos associated with a gang, but his are labeled “Mom” and “Dad” and are common symbols associated with his hometown of Capacho, Venezuela.

Not a gang, but a family.

The only person in this case who is part of a gang, is This Bitch, Kristi Noem, and her fascist, racist, Nazi-wannabe cohorts.

Peyton McNabb and January Littlejohn

These two asshats were highlighted at The Felon’s State of the Union address …

The first is Peyton McNabb, on the left above. She was a high school athlete who The Felon claimed had a career ending injury from a transgender volleyball player but in the months following the assault, as both The Felon and Lil Peyton called it, she competed in both softball and basketball so she couldn’t have had a “career ending injury.”

It is also important to note that it was never proven the other athlete was transgender and many kids at Peyton’s school have confirmed then opponent was a cisgender athlete.

Peyton lies, lied, and will lie.

The second asshat is January Littlejohn, on the right above, who was there to highlight a story of a school transitioning her daughter without her approval. Here’s an email Littlejohn sent to her child’s teacher:

“This has been an incredibly difficult situation for our family and her father and I are trying to be as supportive as we can. She is currently identifying as non-binary. She would like to go by the new name [redacted] and prefers the pronouns they/them. We have not changed her name at home yet, but I told her if she wants to go by the name [redacted] with her teachers, I won’t stop her.”

Sounds nice, right, but then the Littlejohn’s went on to try to sue the school for calling her by the name she had chosen to be called and the name that the parents said the school could call their child.

So Facts really do matter people. These stories are lies and dangerous for already marginalized groups. It is sickening that these people stood in front of the world and lied for political gain.

This Bitch: Nancy Mace ... AGAIN!!!

Once again, hate-filled, ignorant, transphobic bigot Nancy Mace is This Bitch; but why now? Why her? Why again?

Well, in an effort to raise money for  her next election Mace designed some Christmas wrapping paper to sell and because she’s Nancy Mace, a media whore, a bigot, a liar and a bitch, and nothing says Jesus is the reason for the season like hate and bigotry she designed this transphobic wrapping paper:

And then she ran to X, because Bluesky won’t have her, and her base of ignorant, toothless cousin-fucking South Carolina meth heads need another dose of lies and fearmongering, she claimed that the vendors she contacted to make her festive gift wrapping refused to do so because it was “offensive.”

Mace has been on the attack against the trans community ever since the election of Representative-elect Sarah McBride of Delaware, the first trans person elected to Congress and now she's taking her heart-warming tale of ignorance to Fox News:

“My team just informed me that no company would make this wrapping paper for us because it’s too ‘offensive.' What I find offensive is men in women’s bathrooms.”

And when questioned if she actually asked anyone to make the wrapping paper or if she just assumed that she would be refused she doubled down:

“We asked our current vendors and they refused.”

And yet couldn't name a single vendor; so she then spent the weekend posting anti-transgender messages to social media, including some with slurs after a pro-LGBTQ+ protest at the capitol:

“The tr***ies came, they saw, and they did not conquer during their protest.”

In another post, she shared a rightwing pundit’s post that called trans women “chicks with d***s.”

This is an elected official whose job it is to represent all the people and she has devolved into a hate-filled hag and pandering money-grubbing bigot.

In her continuing effort to stop McBride from using the women’s restrooms at the Capitol, Mace has referred to  the Congressperson as “it” and as a “man” and said that it’s “offensive” that McBride thinks she’s “equal” to other female Representatives.

Nancy Mace is the one who isn’t equal, and once again, I ask any business out there where Nancy Mace might shop or eat or browse demand that if she wants to use a restroom that she first must prove that she’s female and not just This Bitch … AGAIN.

This Bitch:GOP Rapist John Jessup

Just days after being elected to his local County Council, John Jessup—a current GOP Commissioner for Hancock County’s District 1—pleaded guilty in a Nevada sexual assault case.

Jessup pled guilty to one count of attempted sexual assault as the result of a plea deal that lowered the charge from a Level A felony to a Level B felony—which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. He was recently elected to the Hancock County Council as one of three Republican candidates. He received over 15,000 votes while both Democrat challengers barely cracked 10,000 each.

Jessup has been held in Las Vegas since June 26 after being arrested in Hancock County and extradited to Nevada. He was granted house arrest on August 10 after posting a $100,000 bond and has been staying in the area as his case progressed.

The arrest stemmed from a reported sexual assault of a woman in January after she and Jessup had a drunken night out in Las Vegas. The victim alleges that Jessup forced her to drink excessive amounts of alcohol before taking advantage of her in his hotel room and sexually assaulting her.

Witnesses who were with Jessup and the victim corroborated the woman’s story, adding that Jessup said “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” multiple times throughout the night. At the time of his arrest, Jessup allegedly told police there was “nothing criminal” about what he’d done, describing the incident as a “f***ed up, drunk night.”

Hold on to that admission ...

A jury trial in Jessup’s case was originally scheduled to begin in late February but that trial was canceled following his plea deal; Jessup will be sentenced in April 2025, and while his attempted sexual assault charge is a probational offense, he said he expects the Las Vegas prosecutor to ask for prison time:

“We’ll be arguing for probation while the prosecution will argue from eight to 20 [years]. I didn’t have much of a choice today, it was either take the deal or go to trial … The other deal that was available for me today was to take four years in prison.”

Hancock County Republican Chair Janice D. Silvey says Jessup is planning to resign from the council as soon as he is officially sworn:

“It’s been my greatest honor serving the people of Hancock County and I’m deeply, deeply ashamed and profoundly sorry for the shame that I brought to the county,” Jessup said.

Quick to take a plea and quick to resign; huh. That seems odd until you hear the full story …

One of Rachel Jessup’s fondest childhood memories was going to the polls on Election Day with her dad, John Jessup. She began going to the polls with her dad when she was in kindergarten:

“‘Please vote for my daddy’ is what I used to say to voters. I was a typical 5-year-old kid who idolized my dad, and as I got older I always supported his political runs because I was his go-to person going to the polls with him. I was a daddy’s girl.”

Rachel, now a 22-year-old college student, is trying to forget Jessup, a man she now calls “John” instead of “Dad.” Rachel is John Jessup’s youngest biological daughter and is the woman Jessup is accused of sexually assaulting during that drunken night in Las Vegas in late January. Jessup had taken his daughter there to celebrate her 21st birthday.

Yes, he sexually assaulted his own child and after being accused of the crime called it no big deal and was elected to office. But is that really so odd, electing a rapist to county council after you elected a rapist President?

This Bitch: Nancy Mace

South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace stepped up to welcome Representative-elect Sarah McBride, the first transgender woman elected to Congress, to the House by calling McBride a “man in a dress” and introducing a resolution to ban transgender women from using the women’s restroom in the Capitol and any of the House office buildings.

Mace, who flip-flops worse than a dying fish on a dock—she was pro-Felon, then anti-Felon and is now again pro-Felon—gleefully told reporters that she introduced the bill specifically because of McBride and seemed to enjoy the added bonus that her Hate Bill would likely impact all transgender people who work at the Capitol, saying:

“She was born a biological male; she should use the men’s restroom. That’s how it should work.”

And then she took her Hate to X where Hate lives:

“Never thought this would have to happen, but we are introducing a resolution banning biological men from entering protected spaces for women on Capitol grounds. Protecting biological women starts here and it starts now.”

“Playing make believe dress up doesn't mean you should be allowed in women's private spaces.”

“Women's bathrooms are for biological women. Not men in a mini skirt.”

And because she found herself scoring clicks on social media and the news media, Nancy Mace then did an interview with Scripps anchor Liz Landers who tried to check her transphobia:

LANDERS: I just want to add that [McBride] does identify as a woman. I will be referring to her in that way–.

MACE: She’s not a woman! It’s a MAN! She was born a man! She’s a man! She is biologically a male. That is science. You guys on the left in the mainstream media want to say, “follow the science.” Let’s follow the science! Okay. He is a man. He can wear a dress–.

LANDERS: Congresswoman–.

NANCY MACE: He can call himself … his pronouns, can be she or her. But he doesn’t belong in a women’s restroom, period!

LANDERS: Are you suggesting that the representative-elect McBride poses some kind of danger to you and other women in Congress?

MACE: Absolutely! Absolutely! 100%. This is an assault on women, a man being a biological man, a man with a penis, male genitalia—being in a women’s locker room is an assault on women. And so the question is, do I have rights as a woman or not? And I’m not going to allow the media or Congress to strip away women’s rights for one half of 1% of people out there. That more than likely, he’s got a mental illness and this is why he’s doing this. He should not be forcing his private parts into women’s private spaces. I’m absolutely a no, hard pass on this. I’m going to fight it every step of the way.

LANDERS: Are you diagnosing, right now, an incoming member of Congress with a mental illness? I’m not sure how you would know that.

MACE: I am absolutely diagnosing anyone who cross-dresses with a mental illness. And in fact, by the way, I’m getting death threats from men dressed up as women who want to kill me because I don’t want penises in women’s bathroom.

Kill her? Trans people don’t want to kill her, they just want to pee. People born male, assigned male at birth, who identify as male, are not going to endure years of therapies and hormones and surgeries just to use a Congressional bathroom hoping to get a glimpse of Nany Mace’s, or any woman’s, private parts no matter how much she screams about it.

But her shrieks were heard by Nationalist Christian, AKA Nat-C Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, who announced that transgender women are not permitted to use bathrooms in the Capitol or bathrooms in House office buildings, changing rooms and locker rooms. Under House rules, the Nat-C Speaker has “general control” of facilities in the chamber, giving him the authority to issue the policy surrounding bathrooms.

General control? Will Mikey be doing Penis Proving at the ladies’ loo? Vaginal Verification at the men’s room?

But what’s even more sickening about Nancy Mace and her transphobic hatred—lies, really—is that she used to reject this kind of politics. In a March 2021 interview with the Washington Examiner, Mace said:

“I strongly support LGBTQ rights and equality. No one should be discriminated against.”

Mace said she believed “religious liberty, the First Amendment, gay rights, and transgender equality can all coexist.”

But now that The Felon and the anti-transgender party is in power Nancy Mace, like the coward she and most Republicans are, has backtracked, flip-flopped, and shrieked like a howler monkey about the dangers of allowing transwomen to use a female bathroom.

I hope that Nancy Mace goes somewhere in this country, anywhere in the country, and tries to use a women’s restroom and someone stops her because they believe her to be transgender and want to do a genital check.

Remember This Bitch? GOP Senate candidate Tim Sheehy who claimed he’d been wounded in battle and still had the bullet in his arm to prove it? Except he told a park ranger he’d shot himself when he dropped his pistol;? And a doctor who saw the X-ray of the bullet said it was from a handgun and not a military type of weapon? Remember that Bitch?

Well, he got all kinds of pissy when people suggested  he made the whole thing up, but now comes a National Park Service report that includes a detailed written statement from Sheehy to a law enforcement officer regarding Sheehy having accidentally shot himself on October 18, 2015; Sheehy apologized and asked for leniency in 2015.

Sheehy now says that story, the one he apologized for and asked for leniency about was a lie. He has told voters he has a bullet in his arm from his time serving in Afghanistan because that sounds better than shooting yourself in the arm.

Liar.

The Diocese of Brooklyn, led by Bishop Robert J. Brennan, has entered into an agreement with the Office of New York State Attorney General Letitia James regarding the diocese’s two-decade child protection policy. Both organizations have issued a press release on this matter.

But according to Hate Group, AKA The Catholic League, spokesperson, Bill Donohue, the Office of the Attorney General’s [OAG] account misrepresents the terms of the agreement reached with the Diocese of Brooklyn [DB]. Donohue says the OAG contends that “the agreement requires the Diocese to take significant action to prevent and address allegations of clergy sexual abuse” and make reforms such as “Installing an independent, secular monitor who will oversee the Diocese’s compliance with policies and procedures … ” but Donohue also claims it was the Diocese which proposed the appointment of an independent third party to monitor compliance, and then drops this whopper:

“As I recount in my book, The Truth about Clergy Sexual Abuse: Clarifying the Facts and the Causes, there is no institution in the nation that has a better record in combating the sexual abuse of minors today than the Catholic Church. This is not open to debate: the data are conclusive. And this has been true for decades.”

Wait, so the group that has paid out hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars to settle cases against pedophile priests—who were often shielded from prosecution by being moved to different parishes or even sent to the Vatican to avoid arrest and prosecution—has the best record in combating sexual abuse of minors?

Oh, Bill, you and your Catholic League and your Catholic Church and all your pedophile priests can fuck all the way off.

GOP Senator Josh Hawley—the guy who fist bumped the insurrectionists on January 6 but was then seen on video scurrying through the Capitol building as the rioters busted the windows and entered the building—went on Fox News to complain that American infrastructure is in disrepair; roads are failing, bridges are collapsing, and planes are falling apart in the sky.

Hawley, in case you forgot, because he clearly did, voted against that massive bipartisan infrastructure bill that passed in 2021; at the time, Hawley called it a “radical left woke politics bill.”

This is the problem with the GOP: the lies, the lies, the lies.

This Bitch: Tim Sheehy

Tim Sheehy is a former Navy SEAL who is the Republican candidate in the Montana US Senate race that could determine control of the chamber.

So, what about him? Well, Sheehy often tells the story of a gunshot wound he received in combat that left a bullet lodged in his right arm as evidence of his toughness; in December campaign event posted on social media, Sheehy pointed to his right forearm and said:

“I got thick skin—though it’s not thick enough. I have a bullet stuck in this arm still from Afghanistan.”

At least that’s what he says today, but back in October 2015, over a year after he left active duty, he told a different story saying that, after a family visit to Glacier National Park, he told a National Park Service ranger that he accidentally shot himself in the right arm that day after his Colt .45 revolver fell and discharged while he was loading his vehicle; the park ranger says Sheehy showed him a handgun with a missing bullet. And a trauma surgeon says that an X-ray provided by Sheehy shows an apparent wound from a handgun, not a military weapon.

The best part of the story is now Sheehy is saying that the story he told the park ranger was a lie, and that he was shot in Afghanistan during combat, but why the lie? I mean, does he just walk up to random park rangers, show them a handgun missing a bullet and say he accidentally shot himself when he dropped the gun? Why do that? That story means nothing and does nothing to boost his own sense of importance so why tell it?

Perhaps because it was the truth but wouldn’t help him win an election . Oh, and he’s a Republican, so lying seems to come easy and he’s also, This Bitch.

This Bitch: James Comer

House Oversight Committee Chairman, and Republican, because, of course, James Comer, is in discussions with at least one publisher about a book deal at the same time that he is leading the Biden impeachment probe.

And while Comer’s impeachment investigation of Biden is looking like a dud, and while Republicans insist they plan to keep pressuring the Biden over family money ties into 2025, a book would be a high-profile way to do that.

The project came to light when a source pointed Axios to a page on the HarperCollins website that shows placeholder cover for a book by Comer with a provocative title, “All the President’s Money,” and a supposed publication date of September 10.

But no book is imminent and there’s no book deal, Comer’s staff says and ye t the guy leading the investigation that is going nowhere, and has offered zero proof, has a book deal?

Yeah, nothing shady there.

PS Since this seems so perfectly above board, I suggest Joe Biden write his own book about this sham of an investigation and he can call it: This Bitch: James Comer.

If you’re looking for a groomer of children, look no further than This Bitch, Ron Hedlund, a Virginia GOP Central Committee Representative, who decided it would be a good idea to display a massive penis sign with the words, "Biden Sucks" written across it at a youth baseball game in Henrico County, Virginia. 

Hedlund, clearly a MAGAt because he’s as dumb as a basket of deplorables, defended his sign after a community member said it was inappropriate because there were children present.

But Hedlund celebrated the sign saying it was appropriate because of the so-called “woke” books at school libraries. But apparently the good people of the town were disgusted by Hedlund and his attempt at Fifteen Minutes of Asshattery and called police, who made Hedlund put away his juvenile penis sign; as MAGAts do because they are most spineless trolls, as soon as police left, Hedlund set out his “Fuck Biden" signs for all the children.

Again, this isn’t a drag queen reading to children, this is a grown-assed, pea-brained, MAGAt bitch displaying penis cartoons and profanity around a ball field where children are playing.

Oh sure, he’s got name recognition, but other than that he’s just one conspiracy theory away from a tinfoil hat.

This week Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. held a press event at an Upper East Side restaurant and served up some wild COVID-19 conspiracy theories. He claims that the virus was a genetically engineered bioweapon “ethnically targeted” to spare Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people:

“COVID-19. There is an argument that it is ethnically targeted. COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately. COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese. We don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted or not but there are papers out there that show the racial or ethnic differential and impact.” 

Kennedy’s remark are literally taken from anti-Semitic literature that blames the Jews for the emergence and spread of COVID. In an age where anti-Semitic attacks are on the rise, the spread of this nonsense bull shit is dangerous and stupid, but he doesn’t just say that; he goes on to say the Chinese did this and are planning even more:

“We do know that the Chinese are spending hundreds of millions of dollars developing ethnic bioweapons and we are developing ethnic bioweapons. They’re collecting Russian DNA. They’re collecting Chinese DNA so we can target people by race.”

To be fair, there is a growing consensus among US intelligence agencies that COVID-19 was man-made and escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China  but there is no evidence it was designed to spare certain religious groups or ethnicities, and Kennedy offered no studies to support his claims.

Cuz it’s all bull shit; Kennedy has also claimed that poppers cause AIDS and that tap water is turning children transgender.

UPDATE: Kennedy is incensed that this story got out and claims it’s entirely false:

“The [Post] story is mistaken. I have never, ever suggested that the COVID-19 virus was targeted to spare Jews. I accurately pointed out—during an off-the-record conversation—that the U.S. and other governments are developing ethnically targeted bioweapons and that a 2021 study of the COVID-19 virus shows that COVID-19 appears to disproportionately affect certain races.”

Sounds like he’s admitting that he said it, while trying to deny he said it. But what he’s mostly irate about is that he was quoted in an off the record conversation. What I am most irate about is that there is a videotape of him saying exactly what he says he didn't say.

Well, I say that’s a good thing, because it once again points out the lunacy of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Poppers cause AIDS, water makes children trans, and COVID was designed to kill only certain people. Seriously, you don’t even hear the most wack-a-doodle Republicans try to sell these theories and they never met a conspiracy they didn’t try to peddle.

So, please vote Blue, but not this crackpot shade of Blue.

This Bitch: Ryan Walters

Out there in Oklahoma, the state’s far-rightwingnut superintendent of public instruction, Ryan Walters, wants the schools in his state to teach students about the Tulsa Race Massacre, as long as they don’t teach that it was about white supremacist murdering Black people for EWB … existing while Black.

If you haven’t heard about the Tulsa Race Massacre, maybe take a gander here … Tulsa Race Massacre: We Can't Fix Racism If We Don't Learn From It  … at one of the vile parts of American history.

This post isn’t about that necessarily though it is about teaching about the massacre, but it’s mostly about Ryan Walters, who took office in January, and who is, big surprise, anti-CRT [Critical Race Theory] because the right believes that if you teach white children about racism and white supremacy you’ll make them feel bad about themselves.

Here’s the deal: I’m a grown-assed man and I was never taught about the Tulsa Race Massacre, though I learned of other examples of racism in America … Slavery … Emmett Till .. Rosa Parks … church bombings … Medgar Evers … Martin Luther King … Selma … and so much more.

And yet how many of these topics aren’t taught in school, save for the obligatory hour or two spent on slavery, or a couple of classes about Civil Rights; if we fail to learn from history we’re doomed to repeat it and we are on that precipice again thanks to people like Ryan Walters who doesn’t want it taught lest white people get their feelings hurt. So I will say this once more:

I don’t feel bad about being white in America because I had nothing to do with that massacre or any of those other events; I feel horrible for what was done to Black citizens of Tulsa, who had their homes and businesses destroyed and those who lost their lives because of hate and I loathe the fact that much of that still goes on today, but how can we teach our young people, any people, that hate is wrong, that hate kills, if we don’t teach them  the history of hate?

Ryan Walters recently held a public forum at which someone in the crowd asked him how teaching about the Tulsa Race Massacre doesn’t violate his ban on CRT and he said:

“I would never tell a kid that because of your race, because of the color of your skin, or your gender or anything like that, you are less of a person or are inherently racist. That doesn’t mean you don’t judge the actions of individuals. Oh, you can. Absolutely, historically, you should … But to say it was inherent in that because of their skin is where I say that is critical race theory. You’re saying that race defines a person.”

You are not a racist because you’re white; you’re a racist because you’re a racist and never learned any better and yet Walters does not want children to be taught that; but the Tulsa Race Massacre was all about race, hell, it’s been called the Tulsa Race Massacre for over a hundred years!

The Tulsa Race Massacre occurred because a young Black man may have, or actually may not have, brushed up against a white woman in an elevator. And because a Black man might have touched a white woman, he was arrested, and a mob gathered at the courthouse demanding the right to lynch that young man. When the crowd of white men, many of whom were deputized before the massacre began, didn’t get their wish to lynch that young man, they marched to the Greenwood District in Tulsa, a thriving Black neighborhood also called Black Wall Street, and destroyed it, burned it to the ground, set private homes on fire, leaving 100,000 people homeless, and murdered some 300 Black people; it was all about race.

It was all about a Black man allegedly disrespecting a white woman in the eyes of white men, and if we don’t teach that to our children they will never learn. And we’ll see it happen again.

Lastly, let this sink in: Ryan Walters has no problem teaching about the Tulsa Race Massacre as long as you don’t mention race.

This Bitch: JessicaTillmann

Down there in Florida, where insanity runs rampant and Hate is the law, Seminole County Public Schools is offering to reprint the 2023 Lyman High School yearbook in order to remove two pages of LGBTQ+ content because some parents, well, to be fair, one hate-filled parent, is upset about it.

Jessica Tillmannn, chapter chair of the Seminole County Moms for Liberty—meaning Liberty for her group of bigots and homophobes, but not for everyone—says she’s concerned about the definitions in the yearbook because she thinks they are teaching children about sex outside the state-approved standards that parents can choose to opt their children out of:

“They shouldn’t have any sexual definitions in a yearbook. This is a yearbook that goes to every student as young as 14.”

I got news for you Jessica, fourteen-year-olds know about LGBTQ+ people, and probably even have friends who are gay and bisexual and trans and genderfluid, so your homophobia is kind of ridiculous, misplaced and a little too late.

But what really has Jessica’s Spanx twisted? It’s the fact that the LGBTQ+ section in the yearbook includes photos of member of the student’s Gay-Straight Alliance, definitions of LGBTQ+ terms, a passage on the evolution of pronouns and a profile of a student who advocates for the LGBTQ+ community.

How terrifying.

And what kind of terms do they explain? How about genderfluid, defined as “a gender identity that changes with time and/or a given situation. This is opposed to a fixed gender identity.” The yearbook also defines aromantic as “someone who experiences little to no romantic attraction. Many aromantics still feel sexual attraction.”

Danielle Pomeranz, Lyman High School’s faculty yearbook adviser, disagrees with the district’s offer to scrub LGBTQ+ content since the book features all aspects of the school’s diverse student body, including Latinos in Action, Black History Month and even the Dungeons & Dragons Club and defended the LGBTQ+ section:

“They are definitions. They are not teaching anything about sex at all. … Nobody is teaching anybody about sex acts. It is ridiculous.”

And while the principal approved the yearbook’s content it is under scrutiny because the Florida Department of Education got involved when Jessica Tillmann had her Hissy Hate Fit and decided only her opinion counts; wrong, again, Jessica.

If fact, Jessica Tillmann is so thrilled it be a bigot and homophobe that she is also requesting that Danielle Pomeranz  and the school be fired. Sadly, Danielle Pomeranz resigned from her job a couple of weeks ago in part because of Florida’s political climate and a lack of support from Seminole County’s school leadership, so there’s one less teacher to care about all students in Florida.

Still, I have a suggestion for Jessica Tillmann: shut the fuck up. If you don’t like LGBTQ+ content in a  yearbook, get yourself a pair of scissors and cut the pages out of the book, but why believe your opinion should rule over all opinions?

On the upside, as of now, no one had requested a reprinted yearbook, not even Jessica Tillmann.

I guess she wanted her Fifteen Minutes of fame as a bigot and homophobe, and I hope she sits all alone in her hate rots there.

As for the LGBTQ+ community, we need to speak up, loudly, and condemn this kind of hate. Staying silent is not an option; use your voice, use your vote. What happens to one of us, happens to us all.
