Bobservations

Oh the things we do for love …

Backstory; several years ago my father had knee replacement surgery and I was out in Oregon helping with his recovery. He told me one day over breakfast that the pain pills made him constipated and the laxatives weren’t working so I might have to give him an enema. Long story short; my father dropped his pants, bent over the bathtub, and I did the deed.

Why tell that story now? Carlos has been having some stomach issues and his doctor requested a, um, er, sample. So Tuesday morning he had to use a human litter box, sans litter of course, and then scoop the poop into three small bottles. And because of his eyesight I was the one scooping the poop … after wearing several pairs of gloves and a COVID mask and then bleaching my fingers.

Again, what we do for love.

This Tale of Tuxedo is from  June 2010 and is another Tuesday Tuxedo. He just loved basking in the sun on a windowsill but often looked like he was riding the luge in the winter Olympics!

Such a peaceful punim.

There are times when just a tease of some cakes is all you need … oh who am I kidding!

A reporter from The Atlantic recently asked Arizona Democrat Senator Mark Kelly if he thought the country was “ready to have a disabled first lady” should Kelly run for president. It was a stupid, rude, insensitive question which Kelly answered like this:

"In my opinion, we have a disabled president right now."

Kelly was defending his wife, former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who survived a 2011 assassination attempt that left her with speech difficulties and some paralysis.

That’s how it’s done.

Well, apparently the lettuce responsible for the explosive diarrhea outbreak came from a  company called Taylor Farms lettuce.

But then Taylor Farms parent company, Taylor Fresh Foods, met with FDA and White House officials to discuss the situation; of note is that Taylor Fresh Foods wrote a $1 million dollar check to Cankles’ MAGA Inc super PAC back in March 2025.

And now the FDA says the positive sample was a "false positive," even as CDC traceback data keeps pointing back to Taylor Farms. Sure, maybe it really was a lab error but when regulators change their story right after a closed-door meeting with the same company that funded Cankles’ PAC skepticism isn't paranoia, it's just paying attention.

I read on Facebook that the big boss at Taylor Fresh Foods, Bruce Taylor, should sit down and have a big salad of Taylor Farms lettuce and then tell us all again about how his product is okay.

I see a boycott coming ….

Ohio GOP Senator Bernie Moreno has introduced the “Countering Atmospheric Nuisances Arising from Drifting Airborne Foreign Incendiary Residual Emissions Act” or the CANADA FIRE Act ordering sanctions, including a ban on U.S. government contracts with Canada because wildfire smoke from Canada is drifting over the United States.

I’m surprised he hasn’t filed a lawsuit against the wind.

And here was a little gift sent to me by a blogging angel … Savannah Marsh Mama. I will now be logging my Gay Agenda as I move through the world … equality, equality, drag queens and all love; oh, and brunch, of course!

I Didn't Say It ...

Mark Kelly, Democrat Senator from Arizona, on Cankles’ threat to bomb Iran's civilian infrastructure:

“If those words become orders to destroy civilian infrastructure with no valid military purpose, it’s hard to see how they would not violate the laws of armed conflict. America leads best with strength, discipline, and professionalism. Illegal orders to make civilians suffer would be a black mark on our military and our country. ‘A whole civilization will die tonight' are words no President of the United States had ever spoken until this morning. [His] behavior is unhinged and making Americans less safe. After a 25-year career in the United States Navy, I have never met or served with anyone who so completely lacks the qualities of good leadership as [Cankles] does. If the President takes the actions he has threatened to take, countless Iranian civilians will die, it will massively escalate this war, and the United States will be seen as a country without a moral or ethical compass. That will make Americans less safe right now and risk the lives of thousands of service members. The consequences will have a lasting and damaging effect on our nation. [His] mistakes have led us to this perilous moment, but the solution is not to escalate even further. This must stop."

And the best way to stop it is to have the GOP strap on their balls and stand up for America against the lunatic. But since that’s unlikely to happen with the spineless GOP, then then next best plan is to Vote Blue No Matter who in the midterms and if Cankles hasn’t destroyed the country and/or the world, then we can remove him from office, try and convict him, and lock him up.

photo

Jasmine Crockett, Democrat Representative from Texas, of the firing of incompetent women from the regime, but keeping the incompetent men:

“Well, first it was Kristi Noem, now it’s Pam Bondi … it would be too much … that Pete [Hegseth] be next. I see a theme. He will throw the incompetent women under the bus a lot faster than the incompetent men. Let’s just agree that America needs a ‘do over.’ The President nominated these awful people, the Republican-controlled Senate confirmed them, and well … too many people thought we should give this much power to the pussy grabbing, 6-times bankruptcy filing, 34 count convicted felon bestie of Epstein.”

Cankles will always sacrifice the women in favor of his buddies so, again, let’s get Democrats in office and impeach DUI Pete and get him locked up, too.

photo

Yassamin Ansari, Democrat Representative from Arizona, on introducing articles of impeachment against Secretary of War Crimes and DUI Hire Pete Hegseth:

“What we have seen out of [The Regime] over this weekend has been absolutely horrifying and gut-wrenching. The threats against Iranian civilian infrastructure and the entire country of Iran are unreal and apocalyptic. Today, [Cankles] said, quote, the entire country could be taken out in one night, and that night might be tomorrow night. That was his quote. Iran is a country of 90 million people. Threatening them with annihilation is a monstrous war crime and puts them and American service members and Americans at grave risk. It also only serves the interests of the Islamic Republic regime, further entrenching their power, providing them with a convenient boogeyman while punishing the civilian population. As a chief enabler of this illegal war, Pete Hegseth is responsible for directing this insane military action against Iran, which has already killed thousands of civilians, led to the unnecessary deaths of American service members and displaced over a million people in the region. That's why I'm introducing articles of impeachment against Hegseth for repeatedly violating his oath of office and the constitution, including the disregard of Congress and willful targeting of civilian infrastructure in Iran, like water desalination plants, like hospitals, like schools and bridges. As the top official in the Department of War, Pete Hegseth has the duty to comply with the laws, lead by example for other military officials, and uphold his commitment to the Constitution above all else. He has done none of that. Instead, he has trampled on the most fundamental principles upon which the United States was founded upon, including the separation of powers, congressional oversight, and respect for the rule of law. That's why I'm calling for Pete Hegseth's impeachment and removal from office immediately.”

Ansari  is the only Iranian-American in Congress and is standing for her Iranian people and her American people, protecting both from a drunk warmonger. Pete has often said he wants to “kill Muslims” and now he is getting his way and is firing our generals in order to increase his control over the military and ensure his loyalists hold top positions.

Hegseth is the real terror threat against this country and needs to be removed.

photo

Pope Leo, on Cankles’ threat to wipe out Iran's civilization:

"Today, as we all know, there was this threat against the entire people of Iran, and this is truly unacceptable. There are certainly issues of international law here, but even more, it is a moral question concerning the good of the people as a whole, in its entirety … I would invite the citizens of all the countries involved to contact the authorities, political leaders, congressmen, to ask them—tell them to work for peace and to reject war always. Attacks on civilian infrastructure is against international law ... it is also a sign of the hatred, the division, the destruction that the human being is capable of."

I am no fan of the Catholic Church which has long its demons free rein within the church, but I will stand with them against the idea of destroying an entire civilization that has done nothing to me, has not threatened me.

photo

Andy Beshear, Kentucky Democrat Governor, after SCOTUS struck down Colorado’s ban on "conversion therapy" for minors:

"The Supreme Court is absolutely wrong. Torture is never free speech. It’s just torture. And faith has been used at different times to try to justify torture, and it’s always, always been wrong. If [the court] is going to show people hate, a governor's there to show them love. If [the court] is there to show them judgment, a governor's there to show them acceptance. We should always be in the suicide prevention business. Never in the suicide causing business … We should always stand up for our convictions, and we should always push back against discrimination. I don't like bullies, and so I'm always going to push back. I believe all children are children of God and I don't want people out there picking on kids, especially kids that already feel marginalized or at higher risk for suicide. [The Bible] says, 'Love your neighbor as yourself, not love your neighbor, unless.' I see you. I care about you. I know this hurts, but there are people out there that support you and want to lift you up. You are not alone. We have to elect people that are against discrimination. We have to create a check on the [regime] because right now Congress is not doing its job … I'm going to continue to stand with our LGBTQ+ community until everyone's rights are recognized and this current discrimination, especially by the very top of our federal government, ends."

Beshear is putting it in the simplest terms where it can make the most sense. Listen and understand; you don’t have to ‘understand’ trans but you have to treat all people with respect.

It’s just that simple.

I Didn't Say It ... But Frst ...

Look what arrived at my doorstep this afternoon! I cannot wait to read San Geraldo’s story, as well as Mitch’s story, and their story … If you need me, I’ll be reading!

Tim Walz, Democrat Governor of Minnesota, has put the Minnesota National Guard on standby following an ICE gent’s murder of a woman in Minneapolis and has urged Minnesotans to remain peaceful while criticizing the Fascist Regime’s lies:

“We do not need any further help from the federal government. To [Cankles] and [DogKiller]: You‘ve done enough. I want Minnesotans to hear this from me: The desire to get out in the protest and to speak up to this administration of how wrong this is, that is a patriotic duty at this point in time, but it needs to be done safely. I feel your anger, I am angry. They want a show, we can't give it to them."

Stay strong, stay peaceful, and show this regime that we will stand against their fascist tactics and state sanctioned murder.

Resist with your voice and your vote!

photo

Mark Kelly, Democrat Senator from Arizona,  forcefully rejected DUI hire Pete Hegseth’s censure over his “illegal orders” comments, calling it on Free Speech and on generations of service members who have earned their rank through sacrifice:

“Over twenty-five years in the U.S. Navy, thirty-nine combat missions, and four missions to space, I risked my life for this country and to defend our Constitution – including the First Amendment rights of every American to speak out. I never expected that the President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense would attack me for doing exactly that. My rank and retirement are things that I earned through my service and sacrifice for this country. I got shot at. I missed holidays and birthdays. I commanded a space shuttle mission while my wife Gabby recovered from a gunshot wound to the head—all while proudly wearing the American flag on my shoulder. [But] Pete Hegseth wants to send the message to every single retired servicemember that if they say something he or [Cankles] doesn’t like, they will come after them the same way. It’s outrageous and it is wrong. There is nothing more un-American than that. If Pete Hegseth, the most unqualified Secretary of Defense in our country’s history, thinks he can intimidate me with a censure or threats to demote me or prosecute me, he still doesn’t get it. I will fight this with everything I’ve got—not for myself, but to send a message back that Pete Hegseth and [Cankles] don’t get to decide what Americans in this country get to say about their government.”

Mark Kelly is a hero; Hegseth is an adulterous drunk while Cankles is a draft-dodging rapist.

I stand with Kelly.

photo

Chris Murphy, Democrat Senator from Connecticut, on the criminal White House and the attack on Venezuela:

“[Cankles] thinks he is above the law. He steals from taxpayers. He thumbs his nose at the law. And now he is starting an illegal war with Venezuela that American didn’t ask for and has nothing to do with our security. How does going to war in South America help regular Americans who are struggling? How does this do anything about drugs entering the US when Venezuela produces no fentanyl? What is the actual security threat to the United States? And what happens next in Venezuela? He cannot answer these questions—and that’s why there was no briefing to Congress to explain this action, and no briefing scheduled. And Maduro’s illegitimate election does not give the president the power to invade without Congressional approval, not does it create ma national security justification. That contention is laughable. This is about satisfying [his] vanity; making good on the long-standing neocon grudge against Maduro, enriching [Cankles’] oil industry backers and distracting voters from Epstein and rising costs.”

Did anyone ever think a morally bankrupt con artist would ever be elected president … twice?

Did anyone ever think that America would ever attack another country without cause, without Congressional approval, just for money?

We got the war because we elected a draft-dodging criminal.

photo

Pete Buttigieg, former Transportation Secretary and future President of the United States, speaking truth:

“It’s an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president—failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home—decides to launch a war for regime change abroad. The American people don’t want to ‘run’ a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one. As of this week, millions of Americans are now paying thousands more for health insurance. If the President and Congressional GOP think Washington has the capacity to ‘run’ Venezuela right now, why won't they fix the insurance cost crisis they've created here at home?”

The country is in turmoil because of one man and hist goose-stepping group of lapdogs and sycophants and they want you to believe they can run another country?

photo

Gustavo Petro, President of Columbia, on the invasion of Venezuela and the threats against other South American countries by a little dick-tater:

“A clan of pedophiles wants to destroy our democracy. To keep Epstein’s list from coming out. They send warships to kill fishermen and threaten our neighbor for their oil.”

All to save a child raping predator from prison.

That’s the legacy of the GOP going forward.

photo

Jacob Frey, Democrat Mayor of Minneapolis, where Renee Nicole Good was murdered by an inept, untrained, lunatic with a gun and a face mask:

“I have a message for ICE—get the fuck out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. People are being hurt. Families are being ripped apart. And now [Renee Nicole Good] is dead. That’s on you. It’s also on you to leave.”

We all knew this was going to happen at some point when you allow an inept, foolish, out of control Kristi Noem play sheriff and hire the untrained and uneducated dregs of society to go after anyone who doesn’t look white.

We all knew someone would die.

This is Kristi Noem’s fault, and Cankles, and the shooter, Jonathan Ross, needs to be arrested.

I Didn't Say It

Mark Kelly, US Navy combat veteran and Democrat Senator from Arizona, on the bombing of boats in the Caribbean and killing any survivors:

“This president, when he says things like ‘third world countries,’ what is he really saying? I think what he’s saying is he doesn’t want brown people in our country. And that’s disturbing. It’s un-American. If what has been reported is accurate, I’ve got serious concerns about anybody in that chain of command stepping over a line that they should never step over. We are not Russia. We are not Iraq. We hold ourselves to a very high standard. Going after survivors in the water—that is clearly not lawful. We have a president who doesn’t understand the Constitution, who installed an unqualified secretary of defense. I cannot think of a secretary of defense in the history of our country that is less qualified than Pete Hegseth. He should’ve been fired after Signal-gate.”

Grifters and drunks are in charge and what happens is that we become a country killing people that the regime “suspects” to be trafficking drugs while Cankles pardons a real drug runner in former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández.

photo

Rand Paul, Kentucky GOP Senator, on Pete Hegseth:

“Secretary Hegseth said he had no knowledge of this, and it did not happen. It was fake news. It didn’t happen. And then the next day, from the podium at the White House [they] are saying it did happen. So, either he was lying to us … or he’s incompetent and didn’t know it had happened. Do we think there’s any chance that the secretary of the defense did not know there had been a second strike? So as a country, we’re just going to let people lie to us, to our face?”

He's incompetent and he’s a liar; he’s a war criminal and he’s a murderer. And now even some in the GOP are seeing it.

photo

Jessica Tarlov,  political strategist for the Democratic Party and a rotating co-host of The Five on Fox News, on the murder ordered by Pete Hegseth and Cankles in the Caribbean:

“The government has carried out seven strikes, killed thirty-two people, produced zero indictments, and still can’t show a shred of evidence [the victims] were [drug] traffickers. The admiral running the mission quit rather than own it. This isn’t ‘national security.’ It’s state-sanctioned killing dressed up as counterterrorism and they’re hoping you don’t ask why the courts were never involved.”

I have stealing Venezuela's oil fields and giving them to Cankles in my Fascism Bingo Card.

And, oh yeah, I also have Distract from the Epstein Files.

photo

Mark Hertling, Retired US Army Lieutenant, on disobeying illegal orders from grifters and drunks and criminals:

“For what it’s worth, as a commander and officer, it was my duty, moral obligation and legal requirement to first question and then not obey any illegal order I was given. The same is true for everyone who swears the oath. Hope that clears things up.”

How hard is this to understand? Don’t help anyone break the law and if you do, do you think Cankles and his regime will protect you??

photo

Rachel Maddow, reading KKKarolying Leavitt’s resume live on air, after Leavitt called her activism ‘outdated, irrelevant, and based on a world that doesn’t exist anymore’:

"Let’s do a little homework together, sweetheart … Karoline Leavitt. Born 1997. Former White House assistant—lasted eight months. Lost two congressional races—both by double digits. Hosts a podcast that averages fewer listeners than my nightly show. Claims to fight for ‘free speech,’ yet blocks everyone who disagrees. And her latest achievement? Calling someone who’s spent decades reporting, analyzing, and informing the public ‘irrelevant’ while trending for the wrong reasons. Baby girl, I’ve reported from the frontlines of politics, covered stories that matter, and challenged those in power with facts, integrity, and rigor. I’ve been questioned by critics with more fame and less knowledge than you. You don’t scare me"

Snap.

Don’t come for Rachel, Little Lying Girl, because you are way out of your depth. She has little time for faux-christian liars and goose-stepping fascists wearing crosses.

photo

Greg Walker, GOP Senator from Indiana, has refused Cankles’ request to travel to Washington and meet with him, saying that it violated the Hatch Act:

“I refused [the invitation], but the underling who reached out to me is trying to influence the election on my dime. That individual works for me. He works for you. He’s on my payroll, he’s on your payroll, and he’s campaigning on company time. That’s a violation of the Hatch Act. He’s a federal employee. He works in the White House. But does anyone care about the rules anymore? Not that I can tell. How does [Cankles] have the time to mess with a nobody like me with all of the important matters that are to take his attention as the leader of the executive branch in this nation? There is no way that he should have time to have a conversation with me about Indiana mapmaking when that’s not his business, for starters. But secondly, doesn’t he have anything better to do? I can make a big list of things that are more important for him to focus on.”

It’s rare to see a Republican so openly refusing to pay homage to Cankles and Walker is far from the only Republican to do so recently. It’s nice to see the tide turning, though let’s be clear that it’s turning because the GOP is seeing chinks in Cankles’ flaccid armor.

photo

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat Representative from New York, on Marjorie Taylor Greene pretending to have principles by resigning when it’s just a coin grab:

“She’s carefully timing her departure just 1–2 days after her pension kicks in and after making millions of dollars insider trading stocks for weapons manufacturers and others while in office. She is saying a lot but her ACTIONS have not backed up the rhetoric. For all her talk, she’s STILL voting with them to gut healthcare and advance self-dealing corruption schemes!”

Large Marge is playing us all , pretending to be tired of the GOP and Cankles and The Little Johnson when she is just doing it to get herself a nice little money bag.

I Didn't Say It ...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York Democrat Representative, taunting Mike ‘Christian Nationalist’ Johnson for trying to blame Democrats for the next government shutdown:

“Hey Mike Johnson, you run the government. Republicans have the House, the Senate and the White House. If you have the votes, then go ahead. If you need Democrats then you need to negotiate with Democrats. Those are your two options. Blaming someone else because your shoes are untied isn’t one of them.”

Sadly, all it takes is a couple of Republicans to do the right thing and the GOP will topple out of favor and out of power.

photo

Hunter Schafer, trans actress from "Euphoria" and "Hunger Games," taking on The Felon for changing her passport gender from female to male:

"So I'm sure most of us remember on—I think the first day of [The Felon]'s presidency—he signed an executive order to declare only two genders recognized by the state, male and female, assigned at birth. As a result of this—which I wrote down because I want to get it right—the Bureau of Consular Affairs has frozen passport applications requesting a gender marker change or renewals or new applications with a gender marker differing from an applicant's gender assigned at birth. So my initial reaction to this because our president, you know, is a lot of talk was 'I'll believe it when I see it' and today I saw it. Now, I'm not making this post to fearmonger or to create like drama or receive consolation, I don't need it. But I do think it's worth posting to sort of note the reality of the situation and that it is actually happening and I was shocked because I don't know ... I guess I'm just sort of scared of the way this stuff slowly gets implemented, you know, because things just sort of start happening I think as we've seen in historical rises of fascism and everything this new administration kind of represents ... [there's] a lot of talk ... and we start to normalize the circumstances we're under and I just feel like it's important to share that it's not just talk, that this is real and it's happening and no one, no matter their circumstance, no matter how wealthy or white or pretty or whatever is excluded ... I also want to say I don't give a fuck that they put an 'M' on my passport. It doesn't change ... anything about me or my transness … it does make life a little harder ... [though] I haven't tested it out yet; I'll find out next week when I have to travel abroad for the first time with my new passport—but I'm pretty sure it's going to come along with having to out myself with … Border Patrol agents ... much more often than I would like to or is really necessary. And this is just my personal circumstance and thinking about other trans women who this might also be happening to, or other trans people, you know the list only gets longer as far as the intricacies that come along with the difficulty that this brings ... This is getting very long but I just want to say trans people are beautiful. We are never going to stop existing. I’m never going to stop being trans. A letter on a passport can’t change that and fuck this administration. I don’t really have an answer on what to do about this, but I feel it was important to share. This is real! So, um, yeah, f*ck this administration."

Schafer first had her gender marker changed to female when she was a teenager and got her first driver's license. All of her identification documents since then until now have been female.

And no matter the marker on her passport, she should be celebrated for her courage in the face of this hateful fascist administration who are targeting transgender Americans because they knows that it excites the bigots who populate The Felon’s base.

The time to take a stand is now before they come for the rest of us.

Mark Kelly, Democrat Senator from Arizona,  on social media and X, about his recent visit to Ukraine:

Just left Ukraine. What I saw proved to me we can’t give up on the Ukrainian people. Everyone wants this war to end, but any agreement has to protect Ukraine’s security and can’t be a giveaway to Putin. Let me tell you about my trip and why it’s important we stand with Ukraine. This war started with what Putin thought would be a three-day operation to take Kyiv and control of all of Ukraine. Now three years later, that hasn’t happened. American and allied support has been a big reason why, but I saw how cutting it off now risks everything so many Ukrainians have laid down their lives for. And while our support hasn’t been free, we haven’t sent even half of what [The Lying Traitorous Russian Asset Felon] says. Hospitals should never be targets in war, but Putin is a war criminal who targets hospitals routinely. These nurses told me how they witnessed Russian soldiers raping children in front of their parents and then murdering these children in front of their parents. Horrendous war crimes which can never be forgiven. [The Felon] says he trusts Putin and is trying to make him look like a friend and a good guy. I look forward to seeing Putin rot in prison. [The Felon] is trying to weaken Ukraine’s hand and we are owed an explanation. If Putin gains ground he won’t agree to a ceasefire and will eventually threaten a NATO ally and this puts American troops and the American people at risk.  I met with Ukrainian pilots, one who I had met in Arizona when he was learning to fly the F-16. They are flying challenging combat missions against the Russians who are protected by a considerable electronic warfare and surface to air missile system defense. When [The Felon] cut off these pilots from US intelligence that they need to plan their missions, he blinded them to the threat and put them and their aircraft at risk. But worse than that, it helps the Russians advance further into Ukrainian territory and murder more Ukrainians. [The Felon] says the Russians are ‘hitting them hard’ in a tone of voice that implies approval. It is sickening to see from an American President. ‘Hitting them hard’ means more dead Ukrainian kids.”

After his series of twelve posts, which included photos from his trip, Kelly received many responses, many offering praise and thanks, except for one from Leon Skum that simply read:

“You are a traitor.”

Kelly responded:

“Traitor? Elon, if you don’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do.”

I’ll take one Mark Kelly over an entire continent of Nazi Leon Skums.

Melissa Gilbert, actor, responding to “podcaster” Megyn Kelly’s assertion that the Netflix reboot of Little House on the Prairie will be ruined by “wokeness”:

“Apparently Megyn tweeted—I’m not on that platform—asking that Netflix not ‘woke-ify’ their Little House remake. Ummm [Megyn?] …watch the original again. TV doesn’t get much more ‘woke’ than we did. We tackled racism, addiction, nativism, anti-Semitism, misogyny, rape, spousal abuse and every other ‘woke’ topic you can think of. Thank you very much.”

Too bad the show didn’t take place in 2025 so the Ingalls family could tackle dumbass podcasters who don’t have an effing clue what they’re ranting about, they’re just ranting.

PS Megyn Kelly is seriously dumb.

photo

Pete Buttigieg, future President of the United States, blasting The Felon’s SOTU speech:

“I believe politics is about everyday life. It’s about what government can and must do to make our everyday lives better. And the biggest issue on people’s minds, the affordability of everyday life, is not something that got more than a few seconds of mention in his speech, nor did he mention some of the biggest things in dollar terms that he’s doing. I mean, objectively , the biggest thing that he’s working on is tax cuts for the rich. $5 trillion, minimum. No mention in a speech that was what, two hours? But it’s always like this, right? It’s always gonna be about—they’re gonna talk about Greenland, and about pronouns, and about mice, and not about what’s gonna actually make our lives better. We have to stand up to this, and by we I don’t just mean Democrats. Like, freedom loving conservatives, libertarians, where are you? We might not agree on everything, but if you are so committed to liberty, as a libertarian or a freedom loving conservative, that you think the clean air act is ‘tyranny,’ then what do you have to say about the head of your government threatening to expel or imprison people who protest in disagreement with his politics? Where are you? We should be able to come together around that. Our nation has always been at its best when it widens the circle of belonging and equality to take care of more people and not less, and our nation’s been at its worst when we’ve been discriminating. [But] you gotta be engaged. Doesn’t mean being online every minute, but you gotta be engaged. You’ve got to hold elected officials accountable, like, what’s going on at these town halls, and you’ve got to be organized. I campaigned on freedom, security and democracy back when I was running for president, and I still believe that is the core that should drive our message, and we need to take that message everywhere. It’s not just what we say, it’s not just how we say it, it’s where we say it.”

A father of two who often talks about raising two young children with his husband, Buttigieg and his family moved to the Great Lakes State to be closer to Chasten’s parents.

Buttigieg sat down with Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to discuss a possible run for a Senate seat opening in Michigan since Democratic Senator Gary Peters is not seeking a third term; it is expected to be a closely watched race in 2026—one that could help swing control of the Senate back to the Democrats. But Buttigieg’s name has also been tossed around for a gubernatorial run: Michigan’s Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer, is term limited.

Some say Buttigieg could run again for the White House in 2028, although it’s far too early for him to make that decision. And some believe he has the clout, experience, and support that few other Democrats can currently boast, given the state of the party.

I Didn't Say It ...

Kamala Harris, in October 2024, telling us what we would get if The Felon was elected:

“If [he] were president, Putin would be sitting in Kyiv right now, and understand what that would mean, because Putin’s agenda is not just about Ukraine. Understand why the European allies and our NATO allies are so thankful that [he is] no longer president, and that we understand the importance of the greatest military alliance the world has ever known, which is NATO, and what we have done to preserve the ability of [President] Zelenskyy and the Ukrainians to fight for their independence. Otherwise, Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes of the rest of Europe, starting with Poland.”

Oh, but she laughed so much and she’s a woman and a woman of color at that, so the lot of you looked the other way and voted for the man you knew was a liar and a traitor and a cheat and a fraud and just hoped he would hurt you.

You deserve what you get.

Friedrich Merz, Germany’s newly elected leader, on Putin’s Puppet and Leon’s Bitch:

“I am communicating closely with a lot of European Union heads of state, as for me it’s an absolute priority to strengthen Europe as quickly as possible, so that we achieve independence from the US, step by step … I never thought I would ever need to say something like that on TV, but after the latest statements made by [The Felon] last week, it is clear that the Americans—at any case, these Americans, this, administration—mostly don’t care about the fate of Europe one way or the other.”

Soon enough there will be no allies for this country other than murderous dictators and tyrants.

Thanks MAGA.

Thanks Democrats who didn’t vote because of “a woman.”

Liz Cheney, former GOP Congressperson, and real American patriot who put country over party, and over a traitor:

“Generations of American patriots from our revolution onward, have fought for the principles Zelenskyy and Ukrainians are risking their lives to defend. But toward, [The Felon] and [The CouchFucker] attacked Zelenskyy and pressured him to surrender the freedom of his people to Putin, the KGB war criminal who invaded Ukraine. History will remember this day—when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for.”

No matter what has been to done to Liz Cheney, she continues to speak up and fight for our country, and not for the enemies of our country.

When you hear the word ‘patriot,’ think Liz Cheney.

Mark Kelly, Democrat Senator from Arizona, demolishing [The Felon] over his Zelensky Oval Office disaster in terms that even MAGAts can understand:

"Well, [Democrats] have a role. We do our own negotiations. We do our own diplomacy so to speak. So we do have a role. We can push the administration. Hopefully, we can get them to come back to the negotiating table … [even though] we are in a much worse position. Our European allies especially are looking at this and they're thinking to themselves what just happened? What happened to the United States of America? It used to be the leader of the free world. And you know I pointed out in our meeting this morning … that I was rather disappointed that our country, we're about to celebrate our 250th birthday. Which is a big deal … but now we're dealing with one of our allies like this is a business transaction. I mean, that's not the way we have traditionally done things and so where do we go from here? … [The] President and the Vice President need to figure out how do they pick up the pieces from this total disaster and get back to the table and negotiate in a way that is who we are as a nation. [We] have principles, we have values, and we don't berate our allies in the Oval Office. I’ve never seen anything like this before. And throughout our entire history there have been a lot of tense negotiations between countries. We don't do this in public. This did not get us anything. And I think it's important for the American people to understand because of what happened today we are all less safe. And I'll tell you there is one winner in this, one winner, and if you watch Russian TV tonight or tomorrow morning you will see that they're going to cover this. They're going to be happy about this. Putin and his cronies are probably popping champagne bottles right now."

Kelly is spot on; The Felon and his cabal of traitors and ignorant cronies have made America less safe in the world today by aligning with a murderous dictator and they don’t even realize. They’re the new bullies on the playground who care only about looking tough, not being tough, and scared shitless to cross the boss.

Tony Bisignano, a Democrat state Senator from Iowa, in an interview with The Advocate after the GOP voted to remove transgender Iowans from the state’s civil rights laws:

“We were time certain, which means that we had to vote by 3:30, and we didn’t start [debating] until 12:15. That wasn’t part of the Senate conduct—we don’t do that in the Senate, but this particular majority has chosen to do it on a number of large issues. This was just a lead-up, the prelude to finally just choke [Transgender Iowans] out and try to eliminate them from our culture here in Iowa. When my colleague brought [this] forth, I said, ‘Well, if you say this is all [about protecting women and children], then why don’t we eliminate the housing and the employment and the credit [elements] and all these other important things because we don’t need ’em?’ ... I did not have the intention to speak to that particular amendment, but the fact that we were just starting the debate and I could see where it was going, it was time to take a role to call them out. [My niece] is a transgender girl … She’s a sweet person, she’s lovely, she’s smart, she’s talented, and you want to dispel and disgrace and demean these people? I’m sorry, Tony Bisignano cannot sit in a room in any capacity to see that done to anybody for anything. I had to call that out because I’m a Catholic; we’re Christians. And I asked [my Republican colleagues] in a speech a few days ago, ‘What Bible do you use at your Bible study? Because I’ve not seen quotes ever apply to what you’re doing here.’ I know these people on the other side. They’re friends. I’ve known some of ’em for years. I can’t believe that in their heart they believe this is the right thing to do, but they understand that’s the only way to stay elected ... I’m calling them on it. Transgender people need champions and voices and not people voting against people because they’re afraid—they need somebody willing to take it on the chin, and I’m willing to do that.”

He's so right talking about these people weaponizing their faith against the trans community when nowhere in the Bible is there a single anti-trans message.

It’s ignorance and hate, but not Jesus at all.

Stuart Stevens, GOP consultant, on his party weaponizing gender and sexual orientation:

“When I see sexual orientation hate come out of the Republican party under the pretext of just being anti-trans, I am very tempted to name the Republican operatives and elected officials who are closeted gays. It’s not a short list.”

Do it.
