That Bitch: Kelly Loeffler Replaced Again!

It’s been about a month since Kelly Loeffler lost her temporary Senate seat to Rev. Raphael Warnock.

Good. Bye.

Loeffler was also co-owner of the Atlanta Dream, a team in the WNBA—a league she criticized publicly for supporting Black Lives Matter and anti-LGBTQ+ legislation—and now she’s out of that job, too!

And, in what is surely the height of irony, after being bested in the election by a Black man, she was replaced as team owner by a three-person group of investors: Larry Gottesdiener, a real estate investor, Suzanne Abair, and out both real estate investors, and Renee Montgomery, an out Black two-time WNBA champion who last played for the Dream, prior to opting out of the 2020 season.

Oh. Snap.

Life is good, and very often fair.

Rant: Traitors, Cowards, Terrorists, Criminals

Traitors; challenging the results of a free and fair election over two months after it occurred because they don’t like the results.

Cowards; turning tail and running when their hate-filled, lie-filled propaganda stirred a mob of homegrown domestic terrorists to storm our nation's Capitol. To break windows; break down doors, take over chambers; take over offices.

I am sitting here watching traitorous Kelly Loeffler now say she will not object to the certification of the election as though she has made a heroic sacrifice. Fuck her; why this woman, who made millions off the deaths of Americans from COVID, who lost her election just yesterday when the people of Georgia decided Blue was the color to follow, is speaking at all is beyond me. She incited hatred and terror with her words, even in defeat; she should be in jail not in Congress.

Liars; trying to save face when they know they are, in great part, responsible, for this attack on our country by our own citizens.

Cheats; who know they had no power to overturn the election, but who still stood in solidarity with ringleaders and traitors like Josh Hawley and Ted Crux who brought this on, who are the cause of this riot, who spurred on terrorism, and who have the blood of those four American citizens who were killed yesterday, on their hands.

I’m sick; I’m sick of the rhetoric and the hate and the cowering before _____. We have spent four years listening to him spew hate about people of color, the LGBTQ+ community; women; dead soldiers; our military veterans and heroes. Four years of hate, of lies, of cheating, of traitorous behavior.

Four years ago, Hillary Clinton lost to _____ and I was devastated. I had long said, what would an alleged billionaire who ran every business he owned into the ground, an adulterer who cheated on all three of his wives, a racist who refused to rent apartments to Black Americans, ever do for America when all he has ever done is for himself.

Well, what he did for America was come awfully close to destroying it because he cannot handle the truth; because he fears prison, because he fears the voice of his father ringing in his ears …. Loser! Loser! Loser!

I remember four years ago listening to the group who would become MAGAts calling me a snowflake and telling me to “Get over it.”

Well, now it’s your turn. Get the fuck over it. Get all the way the fuck over it. He lost. The majority of Americans have had enough with racism in the Oval; we are tired of a crime family profiting off this government, profiting off a pandemic. We are tired; we are over it.

We are over it.

And we voted. We voted him out. And, as is his right, he objected and called it fraud without one single bit of evidence of fraud. He sued … sixty-one times … and he lost … sixty-one times.  He demanded his Attorney General, his own personal Attorney General, to declare fraud, and that man, who had carried ______’s water for years, refused; he saw no fraud. He demanded the United States Supreme Court, to which he appointed three ultra-conservative justices to, call the election a fraud, and they denied his request. The electoral College certified the election; and all that was left before the Biden-Harris inauguration was a ceremonial event in Congress to read the votes and certify them.

But a handful of liars and cheats and cowards and traitors, led by Cruz and Hawley, the lapdogs of evil, couldn’t get over it and vowed to fight the certification, to object. And because of those liars and cheats and traitors and cowards our country was attacked by some of its own people.

After 9/11 we all vowed to never forget. Make that vow again to never forget what the GOP and its group of traitorous cowardly thugs did to our country today.

Never forget. Vote them out. Make America Better Again.

The other night I was a little late getting out of work, so I texted Carlo about 6:15 that I’d be late.

I got no response. At home, I said I had texted him and he said he never got it [he did] but was on the phone with a friend at the time.

I awoke the next morning, and as I was leaving for work, I grabbed my phone, and saw a text message from Carlos responding to my text the previous day:

“Okay. Hurry home.”

It was sent at 11:15PM, right after I’d gone to bed and after I’d been home for nearly five hours. I don’t think he quite gets the texting thing.

Poor _____, every time he tries to discredit the election, and loses, Joe wins again! And Tuxedo is living for it.

The editorial board of the Orlando Sentinel issued an apology to its readers for endorsing ReTHUGlican Michael Waltz in the 2020 general election for Congress, saying:

“We had no idea, had no way of knowing at the time, that Waltz was not committed to democracy. During our endorsement interview with the incumbent congressman, we didn’t think to ask, ‘Would you support an effort to throw out the votes of tens of millions of Americans in four states in order to overturn a presidential election and hand it to the person who lost, Donald _____?’”

Sad when you have to ask a politician if they’re committed to democracy and the Constitution of this country, but then … ReTHUGlicans. That’s all.

Verillas, an LGBTQ-owned fashion label, donated $1000 to the NAACP after seeing a group of Proud Boys, the racist-far right hate group favored by _____, wearing its kilts at a pro-_____ protest in D.C. last weekend:

“Disgusted to see members of ‘Proud Boys’ a fascist terrorist org wearing our products. We’re LGBTQIA+ owned, operated, designed and lived. We’re against everything they stand for. I see $750 of our gear in the picture—I just gave $1000 to the NAACP to redirect hate to love.”

Funny how those Proud Boys love wearing LGBTQ designed clothing and bending over and baring their asses in public. How very queer of them.

Verillas move follows one from last September, fashion label Fred Perry, who announced they would stop selling the black and yellow collared shirt that has become the adopted uniform of Proud [Closeted Gay] Boys.

Joel Osteen claimed all summer long that he took no money from the Paycheck Protection Program, a  government program designed to help small businesses through the pandemic.

Turns out, shocker, that Joel Osteen is a f%king liar, because his Lakewood Church received a $4.4 million PPE. And while you are shocked about this, and notice that the photo above is where Osteen lives on the money he scams out of evangelical fools, also remember that this is the same guy who closed his church to the displaced Houstonians after Hurricane Harvey decimated the area and lied about flood damage to his church as an excuse. It was only when he was exposed, again, as a f%king lying faux-Christian hypocrite, that he finally opened his doors.

Joe Biden has picked Pete Buttigieg to be his Secretary of Transportation. Pete would become the first Senate-confirmed LGBTQ Cabinet secretary should his nomination make it through the chamber.

Georgia’s GOP senators are refusing to acknowledge Joe Biden as president-elect even after Electoral College voters officially named him the winner over _____. In fact, on Tuesday, Kelly Loeffler—who made millions on the pandemic, mind you—said she would keep fighting for _____.

Oh, and that’s smiling Kelly up there, standing side-by-side with Nazi, Chester Doles.

Ah, men, er, man.

Dear Georgia: Kelly Loeffler? Really? You Can Do Better

Dear Georgia

Your Senator, Kelly Loeffler, figthin’ real hard to save her seat, but is she doing it for you, or for her own hateful reasons?

Loeffler is one of the richest people in Congress and has pledged to donate her $174,000 salary to Georgia charities, but she gives to Hate Charities, like an anti-LGBTQ+ group and “pregnancy centers” meant to discourage women from having abortions.

Covenant Care Adoptions is a nonprofit adoption and counseling agency that compares loving gay relationships to bestiality and therefore refuses to work with LGBTQ+ people. The group also attacks transgender people, saying that “rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.”

And while Loeffler gives them money, she’s also doing their bidding; last fall she sponsored a bill to ban trans girls from school sports. The bill—catering to the whims of anti-trans MAGAts—could be interpreted to require genital exams for girls who want to compete in school sports. The irony … the hypocrisy … is that Loeffler is the co-owner of Atlanta’s WNBA franchise, whose players have organized for her opponent, Reverend Raphael Warnock, and whose team captain is a lesbian. She takes money made off an WNBA team and funnels it to anti-LGBTQ+  and anti-women hate groups.

One of the anti-abortion groups Loeffler is funding opposes contraception and tells clients to be abstinent or use the “rhythm method” of only having sex when the woman isn’t ovulating. The group also says that it offers an “abortion pill reversal” despite any lack of scientific evidence that it works.

Yes, go back to the dark ages, ladies, that’s what Kelly Loeffler hopes.

Loeffler’s opponent, Raphael Warnock, has a long track record in support of LGBTQ+ people. As the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church—where Martin Luther King Jr. was pastor—he has carried on King’s tradition of advocating civil rights, while including the LGBTQ+ community.

It seems simple: vote for the man who wants to include all Georgians, or vote for the millionaire who funds anti-trans hate and anti-women ideologies.

Seems simple enough. And that’s without even talking about how she sold off stocks to add to already considerable fortunes at the outbreak if the pandemic. People were dying and this bitch was cashing a check.

Cast some goddamned Blue Votes. Rid yourselves of Loeffler and David Perdue.

I Didn't Say It ...

Andrew Cuomo, New York Governor, on Senate Majority Leader Moscow Mitch McConnell’s recent comments opposing so-called “blue state bailouts”:

“What he’s saying is that if you look at the states that have coronavirus problems, they tend to be Democratic states—New York, California, Michigan, Illinois, they are Democrat states. How ugly a thought? I mean, just think of what he’s saying. People died. Fifteen thousand people died in New York, but they were predominantly Democrats, so why should we help them? I mean, for crying out loud, if there was ever a time for you to put aside your pettiness and your partisanship, and this political lens that you see the world through—Democrat and Republican, and we help Republicans but we don’t help Democrats. That’s not who we are. It’s just not who we are as a people. If there was ever a time for humanity and decency, now is the time. And if there was ever a time for you to stop your obsessive political bias, and anger—which is what it’s morphed into, it’s just a political anger—now is the time. And you want to politically divide this nation now, with all that’s going on? How irresponsible and how reckless.”

That’s Bitch McConnell in a nutshell. A partisan hack who doesn’t care if a Democrat dies because that only helps him move his hate-fueled agenda forward.

Van Jones, CNN political commentator, on the decision by some states to ease stay-at-home restrictions and open businesses:

"I think it's incredibly reckless. And, you know, signing these orders is signing a death certificate for many, many, many people who do not need to die and who will. I mean, it's just the bottom line. You're talking about states where they haven't even flattened the curve. It's a death sentence for communities of color that are on the frontlines of this thing already and have the least ability to deal with it. [We] need to be rushing masks, rushing tests, rushing respirators and ventilators to communities of color, because that's where the pain is. This is playing the data card. The data shows that, you know, these are the frontline communities in this fight. From the grocery stores to the hospitals people who live in communities of color need help."

Huh. Communities of color are the hardest hit and most vulnerable—as well as the elderly—and the GOP governors want to reopen?

Kelly Loeffler, Georgia’s GOP Senator, and the wealthiest member of Congress, dismissing the accusations of inside trading—she sold millions worth of stock after a private briefing about the impending pandemic—as a “socialist attack.”

“This is a political attack that is designed to distract from the issue at hand and to use this outbreak to play politics. We have addressed this and taken extraordinary measures to make sure we can’t be attacked for our success. This gets at the very heart of why I came to Washington, to defend free enterprise, to defend capitalism, and this is a socialist attack. We have taken extraordinary measures and I am focused solely on working for Georgians. I’ve been doing that seven days a week around the clock, and it’s my honor to be here and serve, and that’s why I stepped out of the private sector.”

After initially dumping shares in companies that plummeted in value, Loeffler and her husband, who chairs the New York Stock Exchange, invested heavily in a medical supply company.

Coincidence? I think not. Now, Loeffler faces a special election in November to retain her seat, and a pro-_____ Super PAC is supporting one of her GOP challengers; there are several Democrats in the race, which could decide which party controls the Senate.

Steve Schmidt, GOP strategist, on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, truth-telling about _____'s reelection prospects:

"We have tens of thousands of Americans who will lose lives they didn't have to. We see an economic collapse that didn't have to be. And we see every indication things will continue to get worse because of the ineptitude of the response. And that's the president's legacy heading into the reelection. He is the greatest disaster in the modern history of the country made worse by the ineptitudes, inefficiency, and confidence of the executive response."

Schmidt was not shy it placing the blame for the deaths of thousands of Americans on President Donald Trump. His callous disregard compounds the need to get rid of this unqualified poser.

Lance Bass, now openly gay, on the time a bandmate asked him about his orientation:

“It was a big day for me because it was the first day someone asked me if I was gay. Chris Kirkpatrick sat me down and said, ‘Hey dude, are you gay?’ No one had ever asked me that. I think most of us have had someone ask if we’re gay, before we were ready to come out, proving it needs to be done when you’re ready, and ready to live openly and out loud.

Today, Bass is an LGBTQ advocate and happily married to actor Michael Turchin; the two recently lost a baby eight weeks into a pregnancy. It was their ninth try at conceiving a baby through IVF and they say they will try again.

I hope it works for them.

Keep in mind that Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler’s most recent financial disclosures show that millions of dollars in stocks were sold on her behalf at the same time Congress was dealing with the impact of the coronavirus.

Keep in mind that Loeffler is married to Jeff Sprecher, the CEO of the company that owns the New York Stock Exchange.

Keep in mind that Loeffler and Sprecher sold shares in retail stores such as Lululemon and T.J. Maxx—that have been shuttered in the pandemic—and then invested in a company that makes COVID-19 protective garments.

Coincidence?
