Carlos is the Absentminded Professor, always has been. Yesterday …YESTERDAY … he said to me:

“I need you to drive me to the statehouse at 10AM because it’s World AIDS Day and I’m speaking.”

“TOMORROW? You never told me about that and I have to work.”

“Tell ‘em you can’t work.”

“At the last minute?”

He blustered about how he thought he told me, he was sure he told me, he knew he told me …. did he tell me? No, he did not, but luckily I have a rapport with my boss because I’m so bloody valuable, that I was able to get the day off, though I will be doing some work from home.

Then … yes, there’s more … I get up early to take Carlos to Columbia and I’m turning on the water to take a shower. I’m stooped over the tub, feeling the water come out of the tap and get hot, and as soon as I have the temperature correct, I turn on the shower … except Carlos had cleaned the bathroom yesterday and when he put the handheld shower head back, he turned it slightly. So, as I turn the shower on a huge spray of icy cold water—it’s 29-degrees here this morning—spewed out onto my head, down my bareback and across my bare ass.

Oy, the screams. It is gonna be a long cold drive to Columbia.

Oh this is such a shame.  I mean, how he’ll ever make back the $25 million of his own money that he put into his campaign?

This week the Senate voted 61-35 to advance the amendment to the Respect for Marriage Act that includes language related to religious liberty and conscience protections under the Constitution and federal law. It would also continue to prohibit polygamous marriage.

This vote puts us one step closer to sending the bill to President Biden.

PS Mitt Romney voted ‘Yes,’ while lifelong “confirmed self-loathing bachelor” Lindsey Graham voted ‘No.’

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about Broderick Hunter Jr. in the Would You Hit It section of this post, and Upton said this:

I spent my childhood watching "The Sound of Music" and "Cabaret", so I really thought the rise of fascism would have more show tunes.

Kanye West said he’s planning a 2024 presidential run and has tapped far-right provocateur anti-LGBTQ+ homosexual Milo Yiannopoulos to work on his campaign. He has also asked white supremacist Nick Fuentes, with whom he dined at Mar-Illegal with Thing 45, to help him run for office.

Let that sink in … the anti-Semite has asked a an anti-LQBTQ+ queer man and a Nazi to help him run for public office.

Supervisors in Arizona’s Maricopa County voted unanimously to certify their election canvass ahead of a state deadline on Monday, defying Republican objections. The Republican-controlled board … read that again, the Republican-controlled board … ruled that no voter was disenfranchised.

Oh Kari Lake, AKA Thing 45 in a Dress, you’re a loser.

Candace Cameron Bure is the chief creative officer for the Great American Family Channel and is responding to media coverage regarding LGBTQ representation in the network’s programming. See, in a WSJ profile, journalist Ellen Gamerman asked Bure if Great American Family will feature same-sex couples as leads in its holiday content, and she “said no”:

“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

Now, Bure is accusing the media of fanning “flames of conflict and hate” by reporting on her quote.

“I would like to address my comments on Great American Family’s programming … All of you who know me, know beyond question that I have great love and affection for all people. It absolutely breaks my heart that anyone would ever think I intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone.”

Great love and affection but your marriages don’t matter and deserve no recognition.

Fuck off, Candy.

I find Trevor Noah hotter than hot … that’s all … that’s the post. I mean, the wit, the intelligence, that smile, the accent, it all reminds me of someone, but that’s unimportant. Would You Hit It?

Is Paul Gosar a White Supremacist?

This week, Paul Gosar [Q-AZ] Tweeted the motto of a white nationalist group:

Perhaps he made a mistake; perhaps he didn’t know; perhaps he’s that dumb.

But, the Tweet came on the heels of Herr Gosar delivering the keynote address at the America First conference in Florida; America First is the white nationalist movement headed by the racist and anti-Semitic podcaster Nick Fuentes. 

So, again … mistake … he didn’t know … he’s that dumb … or he’s a white supremacist.

Gosar’s office is not commenting on why he felt the need to post the white nationalist group’s slogan, given that shortly after the nation learned he was a speaker at a Hate Rally, he tried to distance himself from it.

Fuentes—a Holocaust denier utter illiterate moron who attended the deadly 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia—ask Herr Gosar to speak at the group’s second annual conference and Gosar spoke for twenty minutes before Fuentes took the stage to say that that “white people are done being bullied” and that America needs to protect its “white demographic core.”

And Fuentes Tweeted a photo showing him and Herr Gosar having coffee together. 

So, did he make a mistake? Perhaps he didn’t know? Maybe he’s that dumb? Or, is he a racist?

Well, if it speaks at a white supremacist convention, and then pals around with the leader of the white supremacist group, and then Tweets out a white supremacist slogan, it’s safe to say …

Paul Gosar is a white supremacist.

ISBL Asshat of the Week: Racist Nicholas Fuentes

Nicholas Fuentes, a 19-year old Boston university student, is leaving school after receiving death threats for attending the Charlottesville white supremacist rally.

He says the "level of hate" he's seen from people who do not know him is "disturbing."

Odd, isn’t that, coming from an Asshat who marched through Charlottesville with Nazis and white supremacists shrieking about people they don’t know. Odd, isn’t that, from a man who wrote on Facebook:

"The rootless transnational elite knows that a tidal wave of white identity is coming. And they know that once the word gets out, they will not be able to stop us. The fire rises!"

Honey, all we need do is piss on your little fire and you’ll all crawl back under that rock.

"They say we're the hateful ones, we're the bigots, and I get messages all day long from people I've never met telling me what a terrible person I am. There's no hate on this side. I hate no one. My reason for going down to Charlottesville ... was to demonstrate [against] “immigration, multiculturalism, and post-modernism.” 

Against immigration, Nicholas Fuentes? he sounds like a descendent of those fine first families that arrived on these shores and created America ... Washington ... Jefferson ... Adams ... Fuentes? Honey, unless you are a direct descendent of Native Americans we are all immigrants here; asshat.

“The rally was about not replacing white people. It was to show solidarity for a cause which has not been talked about in the mainstream media, which the American people never got a vote on, and that is the fundamental transformation of the composition of our country."

Yes, Nicholas, remember that one word you said? “Our” country; it isn’t yours and your idiot friend’s country to demand that we cease immigration and get rid of brown-skinned folks; it’s our country.

And Nicholas, the “mainstream media” has been talking about racism and hate forever, most notably the rise in racism since we elected our first black President in 2008; that’s when the white supremacists went full bore into hatred, Nicholas.

In the wake of Charlottesville, Nicholas is growing fearful of Boston, which is why he’s leaving school:

“It’s becoming very dangerous. Massachusetts, and Boston in particular, are among the most left wing states and cities. Probably anywhere I would go would be safer than Boston.”

Fuentes says he's hoping to transfer to Auburn University in Alabama.

He’ll fit right in there.
