Ain't That America XXXVIII

What a long, strange week it’s been, with the GOP clusterfucking all over the place about Pope Leo and Cankles latest AI-generated Epstein Deflection posts. And with JD Vance failing to forge a treaty with Iran, failing to get Viktor Orban re-elected in Hungary and failing to follow his Catholic faith as he, too, tells the Pope to take a seat.

So, what else happened …

US Transportation Secretary and Reality Star Sean Duffy says it makes a lot of sense to hire gamers to address a shortage of air traffic controllers.

They play games and you want to insert them into real-life situations?

This is the Regime.

We all know that, like his wives, Cankles has a complicated relationship with the Bible. He has often called it his favorite book, has posed with it for photographers outside a church and has sold his own edition for $60, but cannot utter a single passage as his favorite.

So now, after fighting with Pope Leo and portraying himself on social media as Dr. Jesus H. Christ, Cankles will participate in a marathon reading of the entire Bible in Washington.

The Bible and reading; one thing he doesn’t understand and the other thing he can’t do.

In Texas, where some estimates say nearly 10% of the work force is undocumented—compared with about 4.5% of the US work force—the Texas Restaurant Association wants the Regime to create work permits for “long-term, law-abiding immigrants playing critical roles from farms to restaurants.”

I guess those darn immigrants aren’t stealing jobs in Texas, they’re just doing jobs Texans don’t want to do.

Oh the hypocrisy.

PeeWee German’s wife, Katie “Eva Braun” Miller says childless rates among men and women differ according to political ideology. For instance, 60% of “extremely liberal” men report being childless, while 22% of “extremely conservative” men were childless and Katie’s response was brief:

“Liberal men aren’t attractive.”

This from the woman married to Stephen Miller.

Cankles stirred up a hornet’s nest, even deep within his MAGAt base, when he shared an AI-generated image portraying himself as Jesus Christ. The image, posted to Truth Social, shows Cankles in a Christ-like role, healing a sick patient while surrounded by followers. The post quickly spread across social media through the night until he finally deleted it and then claimed he thought the picture was of him as a doctor.

Seriously.

GOP Representative Lauren Boebert stunned reporters this week by chastising “horny” lawmakers in Congress; her comments came in the wake of sex scandals involving Eric Swalwell  and Tony Gonzales, both of whom resigned from Congress.

Does she think anyone has forgotten the video of herself in a public theater watching a musical version of Beetlejuice while stick her hands in between the thighs of her date to grope him?

Seriously Gropert, sit down.

Clearly in the White House it’s always Happy Hour for Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent who this week confused the name of the Strait of Hormuz, a key waterway for the world’s petroleum market, with his beverage of choice:

“The U.S. kept their side on the ceasefire. We’ve stopped firing. The Straits of Vermouth have not been completely reopened, so we will see ….”

I do think the strait is owned and operated by the country of Martini.

Former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley indicated that she won’t seek the GOP nomination in 2028.

She failed to mention that no one had asked her to run.

Judge Darrin Gayles, U.S. District Court in Miami, dismissed Cankles’ $10 billion lawsuit against media baron Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal, which claimed the newspaper defamed Cankles with a story about the birthday card he’d sent his PBFF—Pedophile Best friend Forever—Jeffrey Epstein.

Gayles dismissed the civil complaint because Cankles had “not plausibly alleged that the Defendants published the Article with actual malice.”

It’s not malice when it’s fact.

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Bryan in Minnesota has ordered the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security to turn over unredacted evidence in Nicole Renee Good’s January 7 killing within three weeks.

In a comprehensive discovery order, Bryan directed the Regime to produce not only photos, videos, and audio recordings from 30 minutes before to 60 minutes after the shooting, but also ICE officer Jonathan Ross’s training and personnel files, cellphone extraction reports, witness statements, and internal DHS and ICE use-of-force policies. The order also requires disclosure of Ross’s medical and psychological fitness evaluations after the shooting, widening scrutiny beyond the shooting itself to the federal government’s training, oversight, and post-incident response.

Justice needs to happen for Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti.

Democrat Analilia Mejía won a New Jersey special election for the U.S. House after defeating Republican Joe Hathaway on a message of standing up to thew Regime and defending progressive policies.

The Blue Wave continues.

The Dream City Church, a megachurch in Phoenix was supposed to be a venue for Cankles to drum up support among the young voters but instead he found an audience whose members skewed older and were focused on divisions within their own party. Sadly, Demented DonOLD didn’t notice the lack of young people:

“I want to thank all the young people. I’ve never seen so many young people.”

It seemed odd he thought he saw so many young people when the church, which holds about 4,000 people was barely half full.

Keep this up. Keep up the rage and resistance; keep up the demand for the release of all Epstein files and get yourselves ready for the next big protest on May 1st. The May Day Strong movement is organizing protests, marches, and a general strike featuring "No Work, No School, No Shopping" actions that demand “Workers Over Billionaires," protesting against economic inequality, anti-immigrant policies, and corporate influence to prove that We The People and not the billionaires have the power.

And remember …

Ain't That America XXXVI

Another week and the war that isn’t a war rages on, with the threat of ground troops and a President who has said he’s now bored by the whole thing. How comforting to the families who’ve lost loved ones or have had loved ones injured in the war to know that Cankles isn’t enjoying himself any longer. So, what else is happening …

Cankles, who has long railed against mail-in voting and calling it “mail-in-cheating” voted by mail in a Florida special election last week.

I wonder if he’s going to call his vote mail-in cheating after Democrat Emily Gregory won the election and now represents Cankles’ district in the Florida state house.

Vermont Democrat Senator Peter Welch and Connecticut Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal released new information on payments made under a subcontract issued to The Strategy Group as part of the $220 million advertising campaign for recently-canned Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

Expenses included a $60,000 “signing bonus” to Strategy Group, a $20,000 horse rental, $4,000 in hair and makeup services, $52,599 to videography, photography, and production vendors, $100,000 in labor costs, $500 to Magic Makers, Inc, a magic store in Sioux Falls Idaho plus $42,000 to “other” venders for a total of $286,000 in taxpayer dollars for Noem to film commercials.

DogKiller, adulterer, grifter and thief.

Cankles, who for years has played Elvis Presley’s music at his campaign rallies and often compared himself to Presley, went to Graceland last week while his illegal war raged in Iran,

Let that sink in.

Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has been pushing Cankles to continue the illegal war against Iran, arguing that the US-Israeli military campaign presents a “historic opportunity” to remake the Middle East.

So now he’s taking war advice from the country of the 9/11 hijackers.

Let that sink in.

MAGAt Republican Lauren “The Groper” Boebert has once again tried curry favor with Cankles by praising the installation of the ICEstapo in airports by posting a video on her social media:

“ICE agents show up at airports. While the rest of our country has three-plus-hour waits—thanks Democrats—in Minneapolis Airport’s TSA, wait time right now is less than five minutes.”

And then she added “you can’t make this stuff up!!” Only, she can and she did make it all up, There were no ICEstapo agents at  Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, or any other airports in Minnesota.

Before Kristi DogKiller Noem was even out the door after getting fired, her more than 10 framed glamour shots hanging on the walls of one of her Washington offices were being taken down by staff.

Her replacement, Markwayne Mullin, began work right away, undoing the unprecedented regulations that Noem and her lover, Corey Lewandowski, had imposed across the department.

Wait, so then even the GOP knew she was a grifting con artist?

Matt Schlapp, head of the American Conservative Union, led the crowd at CPAC [Conservative Political Action Conference] in an unintentional cheer for Cankles’ impeachment when he asked the audience:

“How many of you would like to see impeachment hearings?”

The crowd cheered and Schlapp stammered:

“That was the wrong answer. We’ll try it again. How many of you would like to see impeachment hearings?”

And again the crowd cheered.

Despite these alleged peace talks, Pete Hegseth would rather the killings continue because according to DUI Pete “we negotiate with bombs” when it comes to Iran.

War criminals all of them, and when the Cankles runs to Russia and Saudi Arabia to hide I hope they drag Hegseth into court and sentence him for his murderous reign.

Melanie held something called the "Melanie’s Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit at the US State Department" which was about education and spent all of eight minutes in attendance saying:

“As people we dream. As leaders we progress. As nations we will build. Beginning today, let’s accelerate our new global alliance, this bond, to positively impact the progress of our children.”

The only thing "accelerating" was Melanie running out of the building like a Slovenian Hooker on the stroll and making it clear she doesn’t give a shiz about education.

Fuck her.

Mike “The Littlest” Johnson and the GOP gave the first-ever 'America First award' to Cankles. Johnson handed a gold eagle statue and said the event would be an annual honor.

With Cankles winning every year.

Minnesota Republican Representative Elliott Engen was arrested last week on suspicion of drunk driving. White Bear Lake Police Chief Dale Hager said that officers pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations, including speeding, expired tabs and a broken headlight and arrested Engen for suspicion of driving while impaired after blowing a BAC of .13.

Engen once said Democrats are “drunk at the wheel on systemic fraud.” Oops.

The Senate voted last week to fund the Department of Homeland Security except for the ICEstapo, raising the prospect of an end to a weekslong partial shutdown that has strained federal workers and caused long waits at airports. The package will next be considered by the House, which was scheduled to convene last Friday morning.

This is another win for Democrats.

Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska who has harshly criticized the Cankles Regime for keeping Congress in the dark on combat operations in Iran has begun drafting legislation that would force lawmakers to vote for the first time on whether to authorize the war.

Let’s see how many Republicans will stand with the Constitution against their Cult Leader.

Due to the impact on resources from the longstanding government shutdown, Delta airlines temporarily suspended all specialty services to members of Congress. Delta has long operated a special congressional service desk that helped members of Congress book trips at government rates, make last-minute ticketing changes and even reserve seats on multiple flights on the same day to accommodate congressional votes.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian suspended that service and said the TSA agents who screen passengers at airports are being used as “political chips” in congressional negotiations over DHS funding.

The resistance.

Cankles’ approval rating fell again to its lowest point since he returned to the White House due to an illegal war, the high price of gasoline, and his fucking ineptitude.

And then we had a booming turnout across the country and around the world for No Kings Day; estimates suggest between 8 and ten million in the US alone! The Resistance is real, and we played our part in lil ol’ Columbia, South Carolina where thousands turned out.

Keep it up and never forget:

Bobservations

I have a birthday coming up—I’ll be somewhere between forty and death—and Carlos has already given me two gifts.

Now, before I divulge the gifts, let me say that I love Carlos more than anything in life, but one thing I do enjoy is solitude. And since I don’t normally work on Tuesdays, not even from home, Carlos told me today that next Tuesday, as well as the 27th, the anniversary of my birth, he will be busy and gone all day and I can have the home to myself.

Carlos doesn’t get that feeling because he grew up as an only child; I had siblings and relatives nearby and friends and such and learned to like a little peace.

I can do everything or I can do nothing.

That’s love.

Of course, the weekend after my birthday we will be away for a mini-vacation to celebrate!

This is Tuxedo from July 2021 … mid-pandemic …

I’m thinking of running for Mayor of Smallville, but only as a front for Tuxedo, who would be the real mayor.

Nikki Glaser hosted the Golden Globes the other night and released a list of jokes she cut from her monologue. I kinda wish she ‘d left this one in, about “Wicked” star Jonathon Bailey being named the 2025 “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine.

“Jonathan is the first openly gay man to be named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. And at first I was like, do we really need to say ‘openly’? And then I looked at a list of past winners and I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, we do.’”

Snap.

Kristi DogKiller and CitizenKiller is a liar; do not let her fool you.

ICE’s jurisdiction is only on matter related to immigration; not stopping vehicles at random.

They do not have nor mal police powers or authority.

To stop a vehicle they need to have reasonable cause to believe it contains an undocumented immigrant.

They cannot detain anyone without reasonable cause to believe that person is undocumented.

They cannot detain a  US citizen for passing by the area.

To draw their weapon on someone they must have reasonable cause to believe their lives are in direct danger.

ICE had no jurisdiction to stop or interact with Renee Nicole Good at all, never mind drawing a weapon, shooting her in the face and then calling her a “fucking bitch” as she lay dying.

The regime is conducting a thorough investigation of Renee while Noem exonerated the murderer, Jonathan Ross, before Good’s body was even cold.

These are the facts; don’t be gaslit by the regime.

I saw this meme on Bluesky, posted after Renee Good’s murder about how she should have just complied; something to think about …

“All you have to do is comply and you won’t get hurt by cops. When they tell you to get down, you get down. When they tell you to turn in your guns, you turn in your guns. When they tell you to get in the boxcar, you get in the boxcar. Why is this so difficult for people to understand.”

Think on that.

Last week, the House passed a bill to extend desperately needed healthcare subsidies and stop millions of people from being kicked off their health insurance and one of the more surprising “Yea” votes was from MAGAt cultist Lauren Groper.

Except once this was highlighted by the media, Boebert played the “um, actually” card and posted a picture of her holding an “incorrect vote form” that said she actually wanted to vote “nay.”

How dumb is Boebert? There are two choices for the vote and you say you accidentally picked the wrong one. You had two choices and you chose the one you didn’t want to choose.

It’s hard to fathom which degree of stupidity we’re dealing with here.

Thankfully, the bill still passed even with Boebert switching her vote to “no.”
