Bobservations

The other morning I was walking past our bedroom when I heard Carlos talking to Rosita:

“She’s such a pretty girl. Pretty girl. Ohhhhhh, she’s so pretty. Pretty girl. Such a pretty girl. Who’s the pretty girl.”

“Why don’t you two get a room.”

“This is our room.”

I guess I’m sleeping in the guest room now?

This Tuxedo memory is from November 2019 and is entitled “Tuxedo Went To The Vet”

I noticed Tuxedo had licked the fur off the back of his front leg and so, after Carlos did a quick check, we took him to the vet to see what was what. Turns out it may have been a bug bite that he scratched and then cut into his skin, so he began licking to clean it and the fur came off; or, it is the result of a play fight with either Max or Consuelo. Either way, it’s nothing bad and he’s on antibiotics—which he hates—and a twice daily cleanse of the area.

But this isn’t about that, it’s about the joy of Tuxedo. See, he was a bit of an abused cat when we rescued him; he’d been adopted out several times and always returned to the vet’s office in Miami as “mean.” Then we took him and let him acclimate to our house and the five other cats we had at the time, and Tuxedo has become the sweetest, friendliest cat ever.

And that leads us to the vet’s office in Smallville.

While he cried in the car on the ride, once there he was calm and watching the goings on from inside his carrier. When we got in with the vet tech, as she was weighing him and checking him out, he was perfectly calm and easy going. Then came to thermometer up the butt; and he was calm and handled it like any bottom at any gay bar anywhere … or something. But … as she finished with him, Tuxedo stood on his hind legs and put his paws on my chest and rested his head against me. The vet tech squeeed with delight about the hug he was giving me.

When the doctor came in, the vet tech was holding Tuxedo for the exam, and he stood on his hind legs and gave the vet tech a hug, too. The doctor loved that and asked if Tuxedo would give her a hug and, yes, he did. And then they took his picture while hugging the doctor.

Long story a little shorter … as we left with his medications we stopped to pay at the desk and were asked our pet’s name.

“Tuxedo.”

“The one who hugged the doctor?”

“Um, yeah. Do you want one?”

“Can I?”

And she could.

At the Emmy’s this week first-time nominee, for Reservation Dogs, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai made a powerful statement by arriving with a red handprint over his mouth, symbolizing solidarity with missing and murdered Indigenous women. It stands for all the missing sisters whose voices are not heard. It stands for the silence of the media and law enforcement in the midst of this crisis.

If you didn’t know about the epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women, and how little help is giving by local authorities and government agencies to tribal police, take a look at Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women USA MMIWUSA

A friend posted to Facebook that according to PureWow she, as a Virgo, is one of two excellent cult leaders, with Aquarius, which is me, being the second. I commented that I needed my own cult, and she posted what my cult would be like according to PureWow:

"Fixed air sign Aquarius leads a stylish cult. Ruled by Saturn, planet of discipline and structure, Aquarius is a sign that others naturally look up to as an authority figure. All of the air signs are social and very into spreading knowledge and ideas. But unlike their fellow air signs [Gemini and Libra], Aquarius loves the info, but also has a lot of style in their approach to travel, education and cult-ivation. This is because Aquarius’s ninth house is Libra, another Venus-ruled sign. Aquarius is very strategic when it comes to starting their cult. The PR is always on point. Who can resist a great logo in a cute font? Or a targeted merch drop? Joining the cult of Aquarius is like joining a scene that never goes out of style."

Oh, I need to jumpstart my cult.

Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder recently changed the lyrics to their song “Daughter” to make a politically charged statement.

At a Wrigley Field show last month, in the middle of their song “Daughter,” the band played a portion of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2” but fans noticed a slight variation as Vedder took the opportunity to change the lyrics to something a little timelier. Where the song would normally say, “Teachers leave them kids alone…” Vedder sang:

“Politicians leave our daughters alone.

A woman’s right to choose is her own.”

Just another way to get the message out that one party is pro-women and the other is own women.

There is nothing like having some cakes as a midnight snack; and you all know exactly what I mean.

Speaking of musicians doing good work, Jon Bon Jovi, known for helping the unhoused, the hungry and America’s vets, talked someone out of taking her own life in a video shared by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.

The video shows Bon Jovi slowly approaching a woman on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. Bon Jovi happened to be filming a music video for his song “People’s House” when he and his team noticed the woman standing on the outer ledge of the bridge and clenching onto the handrails. He stopped a few feet away from her and spoke to her before moving closer alongside another bystander.

It’s unclear what was said, but Jon and the other individual convinced the woman to return to the main part of the bridge; they helped her back over the railing and then the trio walked away.

Bon Jovi has extensive training in interacting with people in crisis due to his Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. He has chosen not to make a statement regarding his actions out of respect for the woman  but the Nashville Police Department has praised him for his actions.

Y’all know Diddy got nabbed, right? Well, according to the grand jury indictment, during that raid on his homes in Miami, Florida and Los Angeles the feds discovered “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” for his ALLEGED Freak Off parties.

Bottom of Form

Diddy was charged with three counts: racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. In addition Combs is currently facing at least eight lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, rape, sexual misconduct and more. He remains in jail.

No word on what happened to all that lube but, in a world of Diddy’s be a Bon Jovi or a Vedder.

Atila Escolano Sánchez is a Spanish model and singer which is all very nice, but Would You Hit It?

These Bitches

Another week and another selection of Bitches, homophobes, liars and serial abusers ....

Jeffrey Little, an Evangelical Christian lifeguard—is he able to walk on water during a rescue—is suing the LA County Fire Department claiming religious discrimination after he says he was punished for refusing to fly an LGBT pride flag at his beachside lifeguard facility last summer.

Little requested the exemption because he “adheres to traditional Christian beliefs regarding the moral illicitness of same-sex activity.” He is asking for damages based on “severe emotional distress” and a “standing exemption” from raising the flag.

Little claims he’s being discriminated against because he’s not allowed to discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community. He’s being represented by the anti-LGBTQ hate group, the Thomas More Society, who claims that Little has a First Amendment right not to have the flag within his sight.

I want to sue because I don’t want his bigoted hate within my sight.

Back in July 2022, during an Idaho Pride event, drag queen Eric Posey, AKA Mona Liza Million was performing. There were several members of the Hate Group Patriot Front who were arrested for disturbing the performance.

A blogger—I guess some of us are vile humans—named Summer Bushnell posted a video of herself discussing the mass arrest:

“Why did no one arrest the man in a dress who flashed his genitalia to minors and people in the crowd? No one said anything about it and there’s video. I’m going to put up a blurred video to prove it.”

The next day, Bushnell published an edited video she had received from local videographer Jeremy Lokken. Bushnell told others that the blur concealed “fully exposed genitals” and urged people to contact police.

Trouble was, that was a lie and local police refused to file charges because the unedited video showed no exposure.

This week a jury sided with eric Posey and order Summer Bushnell to pay him $1.1 million in damages.

Bitch better have his money!

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. addressed the Libertarian National Convention on Friday and told an anecdote about his views on masking during the Covid pandemic:

“They asked me why I wasn’t wearing a mask, which, nobody was, except for the NBC film crew. They said, ‘Wasn’t I scared of dying of Covid?’ And I said to them, ‘There’s a lot worse things than dying.’ And they said to me, ‘Like what?’ And I said, ‘Like living like a slave.’”

Yes, being sold into slavery, kidnapped and stolen from your land and your family, and raped and beaten and tortured and murdered at the hands of a maniac is akin to wearing a mask.

Robert F. Bitch is more like it.

Sean “Diddy” Combs believes the video of him beating then-girlfriend Cassie “doesn’t tell the full story about what happened,” a member of his inner circle says:

“He’s incensed. Especially about the video. He insists it doesn’t tell the full story about what happened. Not that he’s excusing it, but he says that it’s a selected video. It’s his position that there was an agenda in releasing the video when it was released,” the insider continues.

In the video, released by CNN on May 19, Diddy is seen attacking Cassie after chasing her through the hallway of the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. As Cassie attempted to get on an elevator to leave, Diddy grabbed her by the back of the neck and threw her to the floor. As she lay motionless on the floor, Diddy kicked her and dragged her through the hallway by her sweatshirt.

The agenda is to prove that Diddy beat his girlfriend after saying she was a liar, but who’s the lyin’ Bitch now?

I Ain't One To Gossip But ...

Goddess, could Meghan McCain be a viler individual? Short answer: no.

On The View this week—her last week thank the goddess—McCain took a swipe at Kathy Griffin in response to Kathy’s announcement that she has lung cancer and was undergoing surgery. See, Meghan still has her granny panties in a twist over jokes Kathy made jokes about Clay Aiken’s sexuality years ago:

“I don’t like her; I’m never going to like her.”

I wonder how McCain would feel knowing all the people who said they didn’t like her father after his cancer diagnosis. Oh wait, we know because she’s talked about it endlessly. So this is just another case of Meghan McCains self-entitled, spoiled little rich girl, conservative bitch-i-tude because Meghan also had zero problems when her rightwingnutjob husband, Ben Domenech, made gay jokes about Seth Meyers when Meyers dared make fun of his wife.

I cannot wait for this awful human being to be off TV for a while …a long while.

Sidenote: Clay Aiken sent Kathy lots of love and prayers for her surgery, which went quite well by the way. So, you see …Meghan McCain is a horrible hypocritical person. Be gone before someone drops a house on you.

Back in May  when JLo and Ben Affleck  reconciled 17 years after their initial split, one of JLo’s exes—and there are many—Diddy, posted an old paparazzi photo of him and JLo holding hands. Commenters took the since-deleted post as Diddy trolling Bennifer 2.OMFG but now Diddy says his motives were pure and, “that’s just my friend.”

Oh, and he used the interview to announce that he’s changed his name again … he was Sean Combs, then Sean John, then Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, and now he’s …wait for it …it’s desperate … no, it’s not literally desperate … it’s Love.

Seriously. I thought he’d choose something more relevant, like ‘Over.’

Homophobic rapper DaBaby—seriously that’s the name he chose—is apologizing for being a rabid homophobe who is also ignorant AF about  HIV and AIDS.  I mean, he said some antigay shiz, and was called out for it by the likes of Elton John, Madge, Questlove, and even his one-time collaborator Dua Lipa, but wasn’t about to apologize.

See, at last month’s Rolling Loud music festival, DaFool, used his time on stage to wax poetic about women whose “pussy smell like water” and how he loves them. What he does not love, however, are men who are “sucking dick in the parking lot” and people with HIV, because he doesn’t want to be around something “that’ll make you die in two or three weeks.” So, like I said, a lot of famous folks took DaBaby to task and he doubled down and refused to apologize until … he was dropped from several high-paying gigs and thought he might soon have to change his name to DaBrokeAss. And so he said this:

“I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. Y’all business is y’all business.”

Not really an apology, and not enough to keep the jobs from disappearing. He lost a campaign with the clothing brand boohooMAN, and was dropped from several music festivals including Lollapalooza, the Governors Ball, and Day N Vegas. And now he’s sorry, posting his to Instagram:

Oops, sorry DaBaby, but when you apologize by blaming social media for making your bigotry go viral, you still aren’t really apologizing, and the jobs keep looking at you and saying:

“Um. It’s a DaNo.”

After his Instapology DaBaby was dropped from the Austin City Limits Festival and the iHeartRadio Music Festival; he will not be performing at the Can’t Wait: Live! benefit concert in Philadelphia or the Parklife Festival in Manchester.

DaBaby is DaIdiot. And I’m SorryNotSorry.

When you are being accused of being part of a million-dollar scam with your ALLEGEDLY soon-to-been-husband, Rule One is “stop talking.” Especially when you appear on a reality show and your words are on film for all the world to hear. Know what I mean, Erika Jayne?

It seems that statements that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “star” made on the show can and will be used against her in a court of law by Ronald Richards, the attorney investigating the bankruptcy case of Girardi Keese, her “estranged” husband Tom Girardi’s law firm, who says:

“The show is a treasure trove of self-authenticating admissions from non-scripted actors who did not anticipate that many months later those statements would come back to haunt them or that they would be investigated. This is because none of the housewives have a duty to tell the truth on television. They are now caught in [an] undesirable legal position, were they lying then or now.”

And this has Erika Jayne ALLEGEDLY running scared because she just asked the court to remove Richards from the case, claiming he made “false and inflammatory social media posts and public statements” suggesting that she was not participating in his investigation. She also slammed him as a “clown ass,” “low budget” lawyer on Twitter.

Oh, someone’s nervous.

Poor Dean McDermott, AKA Mr. Tori Spelling. He and his wife have long been rumored to be breaking up because their lives are no longer interesting enough to sell to any channel for a reality show and why stayed married if it no longer turns a profit?

The gossip started last March when Tori made sure to be photographed without her wedding ring—which she probably hocked to pay a credit card bill—and then celebrated their eldest daughter’s birthday without Daddy Dean, and then left him off the family Christmas card, didn’t say squat to him ON SOCIAL MEDIA for Father’s Day and took the word “wife” on her Instagram page, though she inexplicably left the word “Actress” there.

Looks like it’s over, and rumor has it that Dean is cool with it except … they’re both too broke to break up. If only they’d paid their bills while they were married and were in debt up to their out-of-work eyeballs, maybe they’d have the coins for an attorney or two?

Someone needs a GoFundMe page.

Sweet news? After almost 20 years of dating John Corbett and Bo Derek secretly tied the knot six months ago. John says:

“Around Christmas time we got married. Bo and I got married. After 20 years, we decided to get married. We didn’t want 2020 to be that thing where everybody looks back and hated it. Let’s get one nice thing out of this.”

Congrats to the happy couple.
