Why Is It ...

… that when someone tries to persuade me to go to a party by saying, “There's gonna be a lot of people there,” my response is, “Oh, okay ... then No.”

… that I have only just learned that the best way to get out of a conversation is to take one sock off and hand it to the person speaking. Problem solved.

… that no one has yet to invent transition lenses that keep getting darker the longer someone is talking to you.

... that no one realizes that I can’t even fake “kick it” so that’s why they don’t see me.

… that my friends keep asking me to try out their new Ouija board when they know I don’t even like talking to living people.

… that people don’t realize that I do not get drunk; I just get less classy and more fun

… that people don’t realize that I am just here to post shiz I find funny. Please know, however, that if that offends you, I find that shiz funny, too.

… that people need to learn that I am not the bigger person and they should leave me alone.

… that when people say I should get out more and get out of my comfort zone I always reply, ‘Howsabout you get outta my comfort zone.’

… that people don’t realize that out of all the lies I’ve told in my lifetime, ‘Just kidding’ is my favorite.

Why Is It ...

… that when I tell people to pray for Carlos it’s not because there’s something wrong; it’s just that he married me and I’m a lot.

… that people don’t get it that I want to be invited but I won’t be coming.

… that when I’m feeling good I go to my blocked lists on social media and release one of two prisoners.

… that I can endure a lot of things at work without losing my cool, but having one of my “best pens” go missing is not one of them.

… that opening the microwave door 1 second early because I don’t need the hootin’ and hollerin’ is a form of self-care.

… that people seem to forget that I am Fucktose Intolerant and am completely unable to tolerate other people’s bull shit.

… that when Aphrodite lies around naked in a clamshell she’s a goddess, but when I do it, they call me a drunk and ban me from the aquarium.

… that no one remembers that I am not the bigger person; if you take it there, trust and believe that I am going way past that.

… that I’ve been having just two moods lately … IDGAF and IDGAF Part 2, now with extra attitude.

… that when the newscaster says shark-infested waters during a shark bite report, I shriek, “Sharks don’t infest the waters, THEY LIVE THERE!!!!!”

Why Is It ...

… that instead of writing LOL—I kid,  never write or say LOL—I’m going to start writing SALTS …Smiled A Little Then Stopped.

… that I often wish I could go back in time and leave some people right where I found them.

… that the health-nuts at work told me that I am what I eat but I don’t remember eating anxiety and back pain and rage at coworkers telling me what to eat.

… that I like smiling at people, for no reason, who don’t like me; stay bothered.

… that I have made really bad decisions while drunk, but then I ask myself if the sober ones were any better and the answer is, not so much.

… that it’s my ability to read the room that keeps me staying home.

… that my boss still doesn’t realize I don’t go to work to hustle and grind, but to chit and chat and take time off.

… that when my therapist told me I needed to love myself, I replied, ‘I’m not really my type.’

… that my boss wasn’t happy when I said I needed  a ‘maycation,’ especially when I explained that meant that I may come back or I may not.

… that being an adult is like folding a fitted sheet.

Why Is It ...

… that I am as swift as a gazelle … an old one … with arthritis … run over by a Land Rover … seven days ago.

… that I am not weird, but I am simply a Limited Edition. Kidding, I’m weird AF.

… that I don’t have a train of thought … I have seven trains on four tracks that narrowly avoid each other when their paths cross and all the conductors are screaming.

… that people need to remember that I have a soft heart and a savage mouth; I’m like a Hallmark card written by Gordon Ramsay.

… that when people disagree with me I generally say, ‘Nice argument, unfortunately, your mama,’ and then I saunter away.

… there is nothing better than hearing friends say, ‘We never see you around.’ I mean, I know, I make sure of it.

… that when people ask me if I run, I say out of patience , money and good decisions.

… that no one realizes I have three basic moods: IDK, IDC, IDGAF and it’s a daily spin-the wheel situation.

… that when I’m drunk I forget I’m shy and I suddenly become the CEO of Chaos, giving life advice to strangers like I’ve got a PhD in bad choices.

… that the idea that someone looked at a purple onion and named it a red red onion really irks me

…. that I seek restraining orders on anyone not wearing deodorant.

Why Is It ...

… that one of my biggest flaws, when I ask someone their name, is that I forget to listen to what they say.

… that if you find me offensive, then I’d suggest you stop finding me in the first place.

… that y’all need to remember if Drunk Me said or did something rude and mean, you gotta take it up with Drunk Me. Don’t come at Sober Me; we weren’t there and we don’t know what happened.

… that the conversations I have with myself while I’m folding laundry are especially deep.

… that no automated messaging system realizes that I will press 0, and continue to press 0, until I get a representative.

… that you cannot text me once a day like I’m a vitamin.

… that one minute you’re young and fun and the next minute you’re turning down the car stereo to see better.

… that when a friend says to me, “Oh that’s so mean, I can’t say that,” I say, “Give me the phone.”

… that they call me 007 at work because I have 0 motivation, 0 skills, and take 7 bathroom breaks a day.

… that Facebook doesn’t let you laugh at a Friend Request.

GOP Dumpster Fire: Take Them At Their Word

There’s an old saying about when someone shows you who they are, believe them; and when someone says something, openly and publicly, believe that, too, and not the spin machine that envelopes the liar afterwards.

Here are a few examples of liars, and morons, and weirdos showing us who they are …

Moments before The Felon took the stage at the National Association of Black Journalists [NABJ] convention Ken Lemon, the organization’s president, was told that The Felon did not want to be fact-checked live and was refusing to go on stage:

“[His team] said, ‘Well, can you not fact check? He’s not going to take the stage if you fact-check.'”

The Q&A was delayed more than an hour before he eventually joined a panel of Black journalists and blamed the delay on audio problems.

Facts are hard when you’re a pathological liar.

George Stephanopoulos abruptly cut off a wild interview with Florida GOP Representative Byron Donalds after the congressman repeatedly dodged a question about The Felon potentially pardoning January 6 rioters who have been convicted of assaulting law enforcement officers. They also battled over comments made by The Felon questioning the racial identity of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Donalds denied The Felon ever said he would pardon the insurrectionists, a promise he has made many times, even as last as last week.

It’s like lying is second nature to the GOP.

J.D. Vance has been making headlines for his “rocky rollout” since being named The Felon’s running mate with his extreme, and extremely stupid comments; but now we learn that J.D. has some extreme investments.

He has had a six-figure stake in Rumble, an online video platform that hosts Russian propaganda and to far-right personalities like Stew Peters and Tim Pool. It has also featured explicitly neo-Nazi images and themes like a song touting the “Reich” and calling for Jews to be placed in ovens from a “dissident rapper.”

I imagine J.D. did Nazi this story coming out?

Fox News’ resident Box of Wine, Jeanine Pirro is questioning Vice President Kamala Harris’ sobriety since taking office:

“Her past three-and-a-half years in the White House has been a joke. You have to look at this woman and say, you know, ‘Is she sober during the last three-and-a-half years?’”

For someone who, in 2020, seemed to be having so much to drink fun while working from home that she was late to her own show—which ran for fifteen minutes before Pirro appeared—and when she finally did show up, she looked three sheets, or five sheets, to the wind, slurring and stammering, maybe Judge Boxed Wine isn’t the right person to question sobriety in anyone but herself.

In another show of how he prefers Russia over America, The Felon congratulated Vladimir Putin over a prisoner swap that took place this week, saying the Russian strongman had outsmarted U.S. officials as part of the largest such deal since the end of the Cold War.

He said not one word about the Americans coming home because he cares not about them; his only concern is congratulating Putin.

The U.S. Senate campaign of Republican Bernie Moreno took to X last week to claim that because of the Biden administration’s policies, migrants have “destroyed” Ohio communities. But, when asked to name which communities  had been harmed by migration, where the migrants doing the destruction came from, and how the communities had been harmed Moreno couldn’t answer.

Liars can’t answer.

The Felon says President Kamala Harris wouldn’t be able to stand up to world leaders because of her appearance, adding that he didn’t want to spell it out but viewers would know what he meant:

“She’ll be like a play toy … They’re going to walk all over her. And I don’t want to say as to why. But a lot of people understand it.”

No, only racists understand it; it disgusts other people.

J.D. Vance, in another resurfaced interview:

“To be a little stark about this, I think we have to go to war against the anti-child ideology that exists in our country. Not enough people have accepted that if they put their entire life’s meaning into their credential, into where they went to school, into what kind of job they have …”

This is the same guy who stood at a podium and listed off his resume while questioning Kamala’s accomplishments and never once mentioned his children.

J.D. likes rules for everyone else and different rules for himself; typical Republican.

The Felon posted a bonkers conspiracy theory suggesting that the FBI had advance knowledge of—or even ordered—the assassination attempt against him:

“WHAT DID YOU KNOW AND WHEN DID YOU KNOW ABOUT IT? RETRUTH IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO ORDERED THE ASSASSINATION OF ]The Felon].”

I still think the call was coming from inside Mar-Illegal … say Melanie’s room?

J.D. Vance, in yet another resurfaced video:

I’ve seen people who become more attached to their communities, to their families, to their country, because they have children … And of course, you talk about going on Twitter … and almost always, the people who are most deranged and most psychotic are people who don’t have kids at all.”

I wonder if J.D. reads The Felon’s Truth Social posts, or Junior or The Dumb One’s twitter rants, or even his own incoherent, hate-filled, sociopathic bull shiz on Twitter.

Daily Wire host Michael Knowles claiming Pete isn’t gay:

“I’ve always taken Pete at his word that he is a homosexual. However, I have some friends including a homosexual friend of mine, Spencer Klavan, who has said for a long time that Pete Buttigieg is not really gay. I’m not saying he’s a straight white guy. I’m saying this is the conspiracy theory. ‘He’s a straight white guy.’ So he’s got this problem. Right? He’s over there at Harvard. He says, ‘Shoot, man. I’m not gonna rise very far in liberal politics if I’m the most evil type of person in the world, a straight white guy. So I need something. I need some struggle.’”

Yes, Pete “turned” gay, met a man, married that man, and then had children with that man, but he’s not gay he just wants to get ahead in politics.

I kinda think Matty wishes he was homosexual.

North Dakota Governor and failed VP candidate—until perhaps The Felon dumps J.D. Weirdo—Doug Burgum claimed that Russia only agreed to a prisoner swap with the United States because they think The Felon is going to win the presidential election in November.

Then why not wait and give the glory to the gelatinous mound of orange flesh? Why give Biden the win?

Because Joe did it, Dougie.

J.D. Vance defended The Felon’s lies about Kamala Harris’ racial identity, saying that it was “totally reasonable” to describe the vice president as someone who “pretends to be somebody different, depending on the audience she’s talking to.”

Vance, who is the father of three biracial children, said The Felon’s comments “don’t give me pause at all.”

J.D. is a racist, a fascist, a moron, a self-loathing hypocrite, a traitor; and fucking weird.

South Carolina’s Supreme Court has approved of death by firing squad. And the Governor, Henry McMaster McDisaster, weighed in on the ruling:

“The Supreme Court has rightfully upheld the rule of law. This decision is another step in ensuring that lawful sentences can be duly enforced and the families and loved ones of the victims receive the closure and justice they have long awaited.”

The state’s highest court upheld the firing squad, electric chair and lethal injection as methods of execution because, in South Carolina, it’s still 1920.

The Felon asked when Kamala “turned Black.”

That’s all; that’s enough.

The man is a racist; those who stand up for him are racists. He’s told us he’ll be a dictator on Day One; he’s told us he’ll punish all his enemies; his people, 144 of them, created Project 2025 so even when he says he knows nothing about it, he’s lying.

He cannot be allowed in the Oval Office ever again … not even as a tourist.

Why Is It ...

… that my phone won't auto correct when I have caps lock on? Is it because it assumes I’m angry and doesn't want to get involved?

… that my boss doesn’t get it that I don’t listen. I just smile and nod and hope for the best?

… that sometimes I’ll read a text and think ‘What a psycho’ and then I press ‘Send.’

… that when I offered a friend a sincere compliment on their mustache, she suddenly decided not to be friends anymore?

… that when I’m behind a slow car I steer my car a little to the right so those behind can see it’s not my fault.

… that exercise and extra fries sound so much alike. It’s a plot.

… that when I put thing away in the cupboards I forget where they are, but if I leave it all on the counter I get overwhelmed.

… that the first shot of liquor is so nasty and the next thing you know, so am I?

Vote Blue. Here's Another Slew of Reasons Why

Here we are again, with a wee taste of the lunacy, racism, criminality, and bigotry and hate inside the GOP …

WASHINGTON DC

House Speaker and Good Christian Nationalist Mike Johnson went down to Mar-Illegal this week and came back to tell us that he is proposing a bill to make it illegal for undocumented immigrants to vote and the Cult cheered.

Of course, none of them made note of the fact that it’s already illegal for undocumented immigrants to vote.

You cannot fix stupid … and liars.

COLORADO

Don Wilson, a Republican state representative left a loaded, semiautomatic handgun in a bathroom at the Colorado Capitol on Tuesday night at the same time that Democrats are trying to ban firearm possession in the building and the GOP is fighting them.

And yet the Wilson’s idiotic actions have proven why the Democrats stance in needed when even a so-called legislator can’t keep track of a loaded firearm.

KENTUCKY

Brian Ormes, a Republican candidate for state House of Representatives was arrested and booked for first-degree strangulation, menacing and fourth-degree assault with no visible injury.

According to Fort Wright police, the incident happened on Monday night when a 17-year-old male reported being assaulted by Ormes  inside the Walmart. Police say Ormes admitted to being in an altercation with juveniles because of their unruly behavior in the store, which he said impacted the safety of his child.

So he strangled a kid?

FLORIDA

While family and friends distributed posters of George Riley Jr., a missing Republican Party of Florida executive director, it was discovered that he was holed up in a Hampton Inn, where authorities say he trashed his room.

Riley was kicked out of a room at the Hampton Inn in Kissimmee after a desk clerk observed him “under the influence;” employees of the hotel had talked to Riley in his hotel room and found that he had “urinated and vomited throughout.” The assistant general manager noted that Riley was purchasing alcohol while staying at the hotel, and that he had bought so much booze from the store inside the hotel that the manager had to order more.

The party of Family Values, pissin’ and pukin’ …

ARIZONA

After the Arizona Supreme Court upheld their 1864 abortion law, which calls for 2-5 years in prison for anyone involved in performing an abortion, Kari Lake fired off a statement saying that she disagrees with the decision and hopes that the voters will overturn it in a referendum this November when her Senate race is also on the ballot against Ruben Gallego.

There’s just one big problem for lying, hypocritical fraudster Kari Lake … when she was running for Governor in 2022 she said the exact opposite repeatedly, saying she hoped that the Supreme Court would “do the right thing” and overturn Roe.

Huh, Kari Lake is a liar? Go figure …

IOWA

Governor Kim Reynolds signed a bill into law this week making it a crime for an undocumented immigrant to be in Iowa. The law, which takes effect July 1, has elevated anxiety in Iowa’s immigrant communities and mirrors part of a Texas law that is currently blocked in court.

Even local police officers in the state are confused about the bill; Des Moines Police Chief Dana Wingert says immigration status does not factor into the department’s work to keep the community safe and that most police agencies are “not equipped, funded or staffed” to take on federal government responsibilities.

But, hey, the Governor wants Brown people arrested.

LOUISIANA

The Louisiana House Committee on Education advanced House Bill 121 by GOP Representative Raymond Crews that prohibits the use of transgender and nonbinary youth’s chosen names and pronouns in public K-12 schools without parental permission. In addition, House Bill 122 by GOP Representative Dodie Horton would limit discussion of gender and sexuality in public K-12 schools.

The Legislature approved both bills last year, though then-Governor John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, vetoed them, and Republicans were unable to overturn his action. But now Louisiana has a GOP Governor, Jeff Landry, who  filed a card in support of both Crews’ and Horton’s Hate Bills.

GOOD NEWS

MAINE

After a fiery debate over a bill to protect health care workers who provide abortion and gender-affirming care from out-of-state lawsuits crossed a line in the Maine House and lead to lawmakers censuring two Republicans.

GOP Representative Michael Lemelin claimed that the mass shooting that killed 18 people last October in Lewiston, Maine and the recent winter storms were God’s revenge for “immoral” laws adopted by legislators, and he described the shield bill as “inspired by Lucifer himself” another GOP lawmaker, Shelley Rudnicki, announced that she agreed with Lemelin’s remarks.

House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross told Lemelin and Rudnicki that the remarks were “extremely offensive and intentionally harmful to the victims and the families of the Lewiston tragedy, the House of Representatives, and the people of Maine.”

But, hey, God …

KANSAS

Democrat Governor Laura Kelly vetoed a bill that would ban transgender minors from receiving gender transition surgeries and hormone therapy, setting up another veto override fight over GOP efforts to regulate the lives of trans residents.

Kelly says the bill dictates to parents how to best raise and care for their children, adding that the legislation is not a “conservative value, and it’s certainly not a Kansas value” and “tramples parental rights.”

The measure passed in the Senate 27-13 with a veto-proof majority. The House vote was still two votes short of a veto-proof margin. But if two House Republicans who were absent from the initial floor vote now vote to override, the House would gain the two-thirds majority necessary.

And that’s just a small taste of GOP lunacy ... pardoning traitors for political points; gibberish speakers; anti-military criminals; lunatics and Big Liars; Christian Nationalist Nazi sympathizers; party over country fools; unfit for political office; liars and flip-floppers; and Arizona.

So what do we do? We ...

Bobservations

I have no Carlos story this week because this is my mood and it’s all I can do.

Fuckity fuck fuck fuck fuck.

I blame the heat and humidity, and stupidity; luckily, Carlos gets this mood and rarely tries to poke the bear, though he does smirk at my tirades!

If the GOP really wanted to get intel out to the insurrectionists, they should have hired cats, because the cats could go anywhere unnoticed. Not Tuxedo, though, he votes Blue.

At a time when the GOP wants to punish drag queens, or people who say ‘Gay,’ President Biden reiterated that he believes no one should face discrimination because of who they are or whom they love and so this week, to mark Pride Month, he signed an Executive Order Advancing Equality for LGBTQI+ Individuals that:

Addresses discriminatory legislative attacks against LGBTQI+ children and families, directing key agencies to protect families and children

Prevent so-called “conversion therapy” with a historic initiative to protect children from the harmful practice

Safeguards health care, and programs designed to prevent LGBTQI+ youth suicide

Supports LGBTQI+ children and families by launching a new initiative to protect foster youth, prevent homelessness, and improve access to federal programs

That’s my president, working for equality rather than trying to criminalize your sexual orientation or gender identity.

CATS A GODDAMNED BLUE VOTE!!!

Last year a woman sued GEICO for catching HPV while having sex in a car insured by GEICO. The woman says she had unprotected sex with her then-boyfriend and contracted HPV and sued GEICO for $1 million in monetary damages. They declined, and the case was sent to arbitration.

Cut to this year and the Court of Appeals for the Western District of Missouri has ordered GEICO to pay the woman M.O. $5.2 million in damages because she was injured in a car they insured.

Seriously.

And not a word about the woman choosing to have unprotected sex. No responsibility.

One of my favorite parts of the January 6 hearings is the testimony from several witnesses who say that on Election  Night Rudy Giuliani showed up at the White House rather intoxicated.

The blowback from that story has led to the creation of a new adjective, giuliani’d, as in:

“I went out last night and got so giuliani’d that I had unprotected sex in a GEICO-insured car and may have caught HPV.”

I like it.

For years, Georgia GOP senate candidate Herschel Walker has expressed an enormous pride and love for his adult son, while taking a stand against fatherless households and deadbeat dads—specifically in the Black community—but now we know that Walker, who has apparently never met the truth, has a second son, who has apparently been estranged from his biological father since his birth a decade ago.

Walker was hit with a paternity suit, in which he admitted being the father, pays child support, and sends Christmas & birthday gifts, but does not see this son.

That’s all.

The new story all over the web is the ALLEGATIONS that Congressperson Lauren Boebert was an "unlicensed paid escort" who had "two abortions" and was convinced to run for office by Ted Cruz who may or may not have been a client, and then married a man who ALLEGEDLY whipped out his penis to underage girls at a bowling alley.

She really is the ideal representative of the Republican party.

PS Of note is that Ted Cruz, who never shuts up about anything—and always tries to insinuate himself into any trending topic—has not even remarked on reports that he hired Lauren Boebert and she may have aborted his baby.

Uh huh.

Thiago Lazzarato is a 38-year-old gay Brazilian model, influencer and trainer, but … Would You Hit It?

Bobservations

One day at the grocery store Carlos asked if I had a shopping list. I told him that since we only needed a few things, I made a note on my phone of what was needed. He didn’t know how that worked, so I showed him.

Cut to New Year’s Eve day. We’re at the grocery store again buying things for Carlos’ New Year’s Day dinner—Leg of Lamb, Mashed Veggie Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts and Chocolate Cake … que delicioso—and he had created a list on his phone. Before leaving home, however, I added a couple of things, one of which, as I typed it into his phone, was “bubby.” You know, for a midnight toast.

At the store we went about our business and got all the things we needed and then, just before checking out, Carlos says:

“Forgot something, I’ll be right back.”

I wait, and he returns with a Boboli pizza crust.

“What’s that for?”

“Uh, it was on the list! You wrote it … ‘bubbly.’”

“Yes, honey, ‘bubbly’ as in champagne, or Prosecco, not bubbly as in Boboli which is a pizza crust and not something you toast the New year with.”

“Oh … should I put it back?”

Happy New Year!

Tuxedo once again nails the inherent racism of our current Racist-In-Chief. He, like his Daddies, is so ready for January 20th.

Just before Christmas, the West Hollywood City Council decided—three in favor, two against—to rename the local West Hollywood Library after late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Why anyone would vote against this is beyond me, but idiocy does abound. In addition, renaming of the library is not finalized by the vote; the Public Facilities Commission must weigh the proposal before the official decision is made, and since the library is part of the LA County library system, which means they would have to confer with them to make the change.

If finalized, the name would become the Ruth Bader Ginsburg West Hollywood Library.

Do the right thing.

According to reports from Prestwick airport near Donald _____’s Turnberry Resort in Scotland that they are to expect the arrival of a US military 757 aircraft, that is occasionally used by _____, on January 19 fueling speculation that the Impeached, One-Term, Lame-duck Loser will skip Joe Biden’s inauguration and instead flee to Scotland.

Good, I say, except … earlier this week, due to a second- or third wave of COVID, Scotland has closed its borders.

I’m kinda thinking Scotland made that up to keep the con man out of the country.

Failed ReTHUGlican congressional candidate George Santos took to social media over the weekend to whine and cry that both he and his fiancé and their four dogs were forced to flee their home, and that his fiancé, a pharmacist, lost his job, after the New York Times published an article stating that Santos had attended _____’s maskless New Year’s Eve gala at Mar-a-Lago.

Sorry, Superspreader, not sorry.

And speaking of Superspreaders, former TV star, and religious wingnut Kirk Cameron hosted a large gathering on a California beach on New Year’s Eve to pray “for our nation,” defying that state’s stay-at-home orders and marking the third time in several weeks he’s hosted or attended such an event amid a surge in coronavirus cases.

Cameron was joined by dozens of people at Point Mugu State Park in Ventura County for a “Sunset Singing and Prayer Event” and said:

“We are inviting you to join us in prayer for our nation. If you want to wear masks, we welcome masks. If you If you want to spread out with your family, there’s plenty of room here. Remember, you’re in charge of your healthcare. Use wisdom, common sense and good judgment with that.”

Put it in God’s hands then, and if any of you get sick, talk to God about healthcare and leave the doctors and nurses and hospitals for the people who do the right thing.

Now, I have been drunk in my life; really, really drunk. But I ain’t never been this drunk …

Thomas Dodd, a bar worker in the U.K. got so sh*t-faced over the holidays that he legally changed his name to Celine Dion.

Seriously. How drunk you gotta be for that? He now says:

“During lockdown I’ve been watching a lot of live concerts on the TV. I can only think I’ve been watching one of hers and had a great idea after a few drinks.”

He believes that, while he was drunk, he went online, filled out the form to change his name, and paid the 89 GBP ($120 U.S.) fee and then forgot about it when he woke up. Several days later, he got paperwork in the mail that said that he had legally changed his name to Celine Dion.

His one worry: that he doesn’t get pulled over by the police for anything.

That’s his one worry? Perhaps he needs to add binge-drinking to the list because Celine Dion also ordered a snow machine while drunk.

Carlos and I are huge Jeopardy fans, and were saddened upon learning last fall that Alex Trebek, who’d been battling pancreatic cancer, had passed away. We heard that he wanted his final shows to be aired and this week is the last five. Monday night, with just a few days left to live, he opened the show with this:

“You’ll recall that about a month ago, I asked all of you to take a moment to give thanks for all of the blessings that you enjoy in your lives. Now, today, a different kind of message. This is the season of giving. I know you want to be generous with your family, your friends, your loved ones. But today, I’d like you to go one step further. I’d like you to open up your hands and open up your hearts to those who are still suffering because of COVID-19. People who are suffering through no fault of their own. We’re trying to build a gentler, kinder society and if we all pitch in—just a little bit—we’re gonna get there.”

Hearing this from a man battling cancer, and who was in his final days, is both chilling and heartwarming.

Trebek’s final episode airs tomorrow night and will include “a special tribute to the life and work of the man who captained America’s Favorite Quiz Show with skill, style, and sophistication for 36+ years.”

RIP Alex.

This is Christian Reniery Santamaría. That name alone makes me tingle. Christian is a retired Honduran football/soccer turned model. But he’s not your ordinary twenty-something model. Christian is forty-eight and hotter than men half his age.

He got a body for sin … at least that’s what’s going through my mind.

And anyone who can rock those suits, and a pair of skivvies, can rock my world. That’s all.
