I Didn't Say It ...

Hakeem Jeffries, Democrat Representative from New York and House Minority Leader, on what can, and will, happen in 100 days:

“In just 100 days, you can vote for an America where we p[ass the John Robert Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act so we can end the era of voter suppression in this country once and for all … We have 100 days to change America.”

End the rich getting richer while the middle and lowers classes cannot afford food or gas or housing or healthcare or college.

End these never-ending wars for profit.

End ICE.

One hundred days and then CAST AGODDAMNED VOTE!

photo

Jon Ossoff, Democrat Senator from Georgia, on Cankles grift while more and more Americans suffer:

“While the people pay more for everything and millions lose health coverage, while he rakes in billions and builds himself a ballroom and prepares again to attack our elections … he reanimates his 2020 obsession while he spirals in fear of the rebuke to come this fall and the accountability that will follow it. Because accountability is coming.”

Stay diligent, stay vigilant, and know your rights when it comes to voting.

If we stand together and stand up this regime can come tumbling down and accountability will follow.

photo

Rosie O’Donnell, comedian and actor, on who is responsible for the disaster that is Cankles:

“I really do blame Mark Burnett and the producers of The Apprentice for selling a lie to the American people, for selling that show as fact when it was fiction, and pretending this mediocre man was somehow a leading businessman in the country. It is the biggest load of crap. I find it very unbelievable that people can’t see him for what he is … even with 34 felonies [and] convictions.”

As many folks say, “There’s a sucker born every minute,” and Cankles was able to sell them a lie masked as a dream, and hate as power, and racism as a new America.

Burnett used Cankles to reach those idiot masses.

Hunter Biden, son of former President Joe Biden and proud pot-stirrer, on the recent White House Correspondents reboot:

“I watched [his] speech at the Correspondents’ Dinner last night. It’s hard to articulate how sad it made me. Sad and embarrassed and exhausted. Here is the thing about a man who is a joke. He can’t tell one. People think humor is a talent. It isn’t. It’s a capacity. To make someone laugh you have to be able to laugh at yourself, and to laugh at yourself you have to step outside of yourself and see what everyone else sees. For one second you have to be just another person in the room. Most people can do this by the time they are nine years old. He has never once managed it. Not in fifty years of cameras. Not for a second. That is not a quirk. It is a symptom. The muscle that lets you tell a joke is the same one that lets you feel what another person feels. A man who cannot survive being laughed at cannot imagine being anyone but himself. He will only ever be generous when it is photographed. He will only ever be kind when it is filmed. There is a name for it. So he stood up there and did what he always does. He hit down. He made jokes about people’s weight. He made jokes about their intelligence. He made jokes about how women look. He read out the names of people he doesn’t like, and mocked them. Always mocking. And when no one laughed he blamed his speech writers. The cruelty dressed as humor has worn so thin. And for the 30% of you still in the cult who will inevitably call me a crackhead and blame it all on my Dad, all I can say is please, for the love of God, open your eyes. Wake the fuck up. Have some dignity. Have some pride. Joe Biden wasn’t standing at that podium last night. Donald Trump was. And at the end of it he put on a red hat that said Trump 2028 and told the room he was running again. No one laughed because everyone knows he has no intention of leaving. Just another joke at our expense.”

And sadly a joke that we allowed to reach the White House twice and we’ll have to treat him like a squatter to get him out.

photo

James Talarico, Democrat candidate for Senator from Texas, on the priorities of the current regime:

“We are closing schools and hospitals in this country, so we can bomb schools and hospitals in other countries. There is never enough money for education and healthcare, but there’s always enough money for war. This morning, we learned that one of our own, Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, was killed by an Iranian airstrike in Jordan. Isabella grew up in Carrollton, not too far from here. she was just 19 years old. she just graduated from Hebron High School. Isabella was sent to serve in a reckless war that no one asked for. we pay for it with our tax dollars. Isabella paid for it with her life.”

I thought Cankles big goal was America first but it’s not; it’s the rich first and then fuck everyone else.

Fuck the poor, fuck the children, fuck the ill, fuck the military, as long as those checks clear.

photo

Jasmine Crockett, Democrat Representative from Texas, on GOP attempt to whitewash the National Museum of American History:

“Welcome to the Republicans' white pride rally disguised as a congressional hearing. It might be uncomfortable for some people on this committee to hear about the true history of America, and I hate that for them. But facts are facts. It's a fact that there is a violent, exclusionary, discriminatory, sexist, and racist part of American history, where our indigenous populations were forcibly displaced from their land, where thousands of Black people were unjustly lynched, where Black people were denied the right to vote, and they still trying to do it today. Women needed their husbands' permission to open a bank account, where people with disabilities were routinely excluded from schools, workplaces, and public life, where four little Black girls were murdered by the KKK at the 16th Street Baptist Church, and a lot of this wasn't that long ago. In fact, three of those girls would be 77 and one would be 74. More than 40 members of Congress serving right now would be older than them. Ruby Bridges, who was the first Black child to desegregate an all-white school, is only 71 years old. More than 100 members of Congress serving right now are older than her. So, attacks on the Smithsonian or any other institution that's willing to tell the true history of America is not only an attempt to rewrite history; it's an attempt to erase history."

If you forget history, you are likely to repeat it … Hitler to Cankles.

American history is white and male and Christian, yes, but it’s also Black, Brown, Yellow, Red and female, LGBTQ+, young and old, Jewish and Catholic and Protectant and atheist and agnostic.

And don’t ever fucking forget that.

I Didn't Say It ...

Jasmine Crockett, Democrat Representative from Texas, on Cankles obsession with the Nobel Peace Prize:

“This self-obsessed president keeps whining about not getting the Nobel Peace Prize, but under his administration a father was just killed by ICE. Children are still locked away in detention centers. And this war he promised he’d end? It’s still going [so] spare us the pity party. We deserve better.”

Peace isn’t killing schoolgirls in Iran or Americans on the streets of this country. Peace isn’t starting wars in Iran and threatening to start more wars.

But that illiterate fuck in the White House is too delusional to see that.

photo

Hunter Biden, on the death of Miss Lindsey:

“When I heard about Senator Graham’s death last night, the first thing I thought about was not all the things he said and did in service of [Cankles]. I thought of the time before [Cankles] when he was a brother to Senator McCain. A time when senators from different parties could fight about politics and still be friends. A time when a conservative Republican from South Carolina could say of my father, “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in politics. As good a man as God every created.” This is the Senator Graham I will remember today. Not because I have forgotten what came after [but] because in that memory there is hope. Hope for a country where brothers can fight like hell over policy and still share a meal, and a laugh, and the loss of the people they love. I will choose to remember the time before [Cankles] because I believe in an America after [him].”

Once again, Hunter is spot on … this time about the fall of Lindsey Graham after hitching his wagon to a traitor.

photo

Thomas Massie, GOP Representative from Kentucky, on Cankles and the GOP screaming about election fraud:

“It’s ironic that we Republicans control the House, Senate, Supreme, Supreme Court and White House –and we’re lying about election fraud? We won all the damn elections. What are we doing with that? We’re bankrupting the country. We’re starting new wars. We’re violating the Constitution. We Republicans are not cracking down on the fraud.”

Seriously, how do you control every branch of governemt if the other party cheated at the election.

Make it make sense.

photo

Raphael Warnock, Democrat Senator from Georgia, on Cankles perpetual fight to relitigate the outcome of the 2020 election:

“[He] lost in Georgia in 2020. That’s not my opinion, it’s a fact. The votes were counted, recounted, audited, and litigated. He lost, he lost, he lost. He’s trying to sow doubt on the integrity of our elections in Georgia a so he can create the pretext to interfere in 2026. This president is a liar, a cheater, and a fraud and he has shown us over and over again that staying in power matters more to him than anything else.”

We’ve all heard the phone call or Cankles demanding Georgia find 11,780 votes so he could win the state. And we all remember Miss Lindsey going after Georgia and being smacked down by every single court, including Scotus.

Do not believe the GOP lies.

photo

Michael Fanone, former DC police officer attacked on the Capitol on January 6, on Lindsey Graham’s death:

“Lindsey Graham is dead. I will always remember my first and only encounter with him when he looked the grieving mother of a dead police officer in the face and barked that he wasn’t going to listen to her blame [Cankles] for January 6th. When I showed him my body cam footage of that day he turned away and looked at his phone. Rest in Piss, you fucking worthless scumbag. If there is a Hell I hope you’re in it.”

Harsh words? I don’t think so, not when you remember that the day after January 6 Lindsey Graham spoke in Congress saying he was “done” with Cankles after the insurrection, and then just a few months later he completely switched his opinion.

Res in Piss, indeed.

I Didn't Say It ...

Mark Kelly, Democrat Senator from Arizona, on Cankles’ threat to bomb Iran's civilian infrastructure:

“If those words become orders to destroy civilian infrastructure with no valid military purpose, it’s hard to see how they would not violate the laws of armed conflict. America leads best with strength, discipline, and professionalism. Illegal orders to make civilians suffer would be a black mark on our military and our country. ‘A whole civilization will die tonight' are words no President of the United States had ever spoken until this morning. [His] behavior is unhinged and making Americans less safe. After a 25-year career in the United States Navy, I have never met or served with anyone who so completely lacks the qualities of good leadership as [Cankles] does. If the President takes the actions he has threatened to take, countless Iranian civilians will die, it will massively escalate this war, and the United States will be seen as a country without a moral or ethical compass. That will make Americans less safe right now and risk the lives of thousands of service members. The consequences will have a lasting and damaging effect on our nation. [His] mistakes have led us to this perilous moment, but the solution is not to escalate even further. This must stop."

And the best way to stop it is to have the GOP strap on their balls and stand up for America against the lunatic. But since that’s unlikely to happen with the spineless GOP, then then next best plan is to Vote Blue No Matter who in the midterms and if Cankles hasn’t destroyed the country and/or the world, then we can remove him from office, try and convict him, and lock him up.

photo

Jasmine Crockett, Democrat Representative from Texas, of the firing of incompetent women from the regime, but keeping the incompetent men:

“Well, first it was Kristi Noem, now it’s Pam Bondi … it would be too much … that Pete [Hegseth] be next. I see a theme. He will throw the incompetent women under the bus a lot faster than the incompetent men. Let’s just agree that America needs a ‘do over.’ The President nominated these awful people, the Republican-controlled Senate confirmed them, and well … too many people thought we should give this much power to the pussy grabbing, 6-times bankruptcy filing, 34 count convicted felon bestie of Epstein.”

Cankles will always sacrifice the women in favor of his buddies so, again, let’s get Democrats in office and impeach DUI Pete and get him locked up, too.

photo

Yassamin Ansari, Democrat Representative from Arizona, on introducing articles of impeachment against Secretary of War Crimes and DUI Hire Pete Hegseth:

“What we have seen out of [The Regime] over this weekend has been absolutely horrifying and gut-wrenching. The threats against Iranian civilian infrastructure and the entire country of Iran are unreal and apocalyptic. Today, [Cankles] said, quote, the entire country could be taken out in one night, and that night might be tomorrow night. That was his quote. Iran is a country of 90 million people. Threatening them with annihilation is a monstrous war crime and puts them and American service members and Americans at grave risk. It also only serves the interests of the Islamic Republic regime, further entrenching their power, providing them with a convenient boogeyman while punishing the civilian population. As a chief enabler of this illegal war, Pete Hegseth is responsible for directing this insane military action against Iran, which has already killed thousands of civilians, led to the unnecessary deaths of American service members and displaced over a million people in the region. That's why I'm introducing articles of impeachment against Hegseth for repeatedly violating his oath of office and the constitution, including the disregard of Congress and willful targeting of civilian infrastructure in Iran, like water desalination plants, like hospitals, like schools and bridges. As the top official in the Department of War, Pete Hegseth has the duty to comply with the laws, lead by example for other military officials, and uphold his commitment to the Constitution above all else. He has done none of that. Instead, he has trampled on the most fundamental principles upon which the United States was founded upon, including the separation of powers, congressional oversight, and respect for the rule of law. That's why I'm calling for Pete Hegseth's impeachment and removal from office immediately.”

Ansari  is the only Iranian-American in Congress and is standing for her Iranian people and her American people, protecting both from a drunk warmonger. Pete has often said he wants to “kill Muslims” and now he is getting his way and is firing our generals in order to increase his control over the military and ensure his loyalists hold top positions.

Hegseth is the real terror threat against this country and needs to be removed.

photo

Pope Leo, on Cankles’ threat to wipe out Iran's civilization:

"Today, as we all know, there was this threat against the entire people of Iran, and this is truly unacceptable. There are certainly issues of international law here, but even more, it is a moral question concerning the good of the people as a whole, in its entirety … I would invite the citizens of all the countries involved to contact the authorities, political leaders, congressmen, to ask them—tell them to work for peace and to reject war always. Attacks on civilian infrastructure is against international law ... it is also a sign of the hatred, the division, the destruction that the human being is capable of."

I am no fan of the Catholic Church which has long its demons free rein within the church, but I will stand with them against the idea of destroying an entire civilization that has done nothing to me, has not threatened me.

photo

Andy Beshear, Kentucky Democrat Governor, after SCOTUS struck down Colorado’s ban on "conversion therapy" for minors:

"The Supreme Court is absolutely wrong. Torture is never free speech. It’s just torture. And faith has been used at different times to try to justify torture, and it’s always, always been wrong. If [the court] is going to show people hate, a governor's there to show them love. If [the court] is there to show them judgment, a governor's there to show them acceptance. We should always be in the suicide prevention business. Never in the suicide causing business … We should always stand up for our convictions, and we should always push back against discrimination. I don't like bullies, and so I'm always going to push back. I believe all children are children of God and I don't want people out there picking on kids, especially kids that already feel marginalized or at higher risk for suicide. [The Bible] says, 'Love your neighbor as yourself, not love your neighbor, unless.' I see you. I care about you. I know this hurts, but there are people out there that support you and want to lift you up. You are not alone. We have to elect people that are against discrimination. We have to create a check on the [regime] because right now Congress is not doing its job … I'm going to continue to stand with our LGBTQ+ community until everyone's rights are recognized and this current discrimination, especially by the very top of our federal government, ends."

Beshear is putting it in the simplest terms where it can make the most sense. Listen and understand; you don’t have to ‘understand’ trans but you have to treat all people with respect.

It’s just that simple.

I Didn't Say It ...

Jim Obergefell, American civil rights activist and lead plaintiff in the 2015 US Supreme Court case Obergefell v. Hodges, which legalized same-sex marriage throughout the country, on the SCOTUS decision:

“The Court did the right thing in denying cert, and people across our nation can breathe a little easier today but threats to marriage equality will likely continue, so we must not assume marriage, or any rights enjoyed by or due to any marginalized community, is safe. Kim Davis should have lived up to her oath and duties as a public servant by serving everyone in Rowan County, Kentucky; instead, she chose to use her faith to persecute others. It is past time for others in our nation to understand that a person’s faith is not harmed by others who are different. Someone exercising a civil right does not prevent a believer from continuing to practice their faith at home or in their house of worship. As the Sixth Circuit said when denying Kim Davis’s appeal, the Bill of Rights ‘would serve little purpose if it could be so freely ignored whenever an official’s conscience so dictates,.  I hope the Supreme Court halts further attempts by public officials to use their personal faith to deny others their civil and human rights.”

This is not the end of our fight, but it is a great step forward.

My being gay has zero affect on anyone’s faith; you can be whatever faith you choose without having to worry about me. And if you think it affects you, then you might want to rethink your faith.

photo

Thomas Massie, GOP Congressman from Knetucky, taking his own party to task:

“This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than [Cankles] is gonna be president. And what are you going to do in 2028 and 2030 when you’re in a debate … and they ask, ‘How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.’”

Massie is deeply MAGAt so he gets no props for that, BUT he gets props for stepping up, stepping out, and stepping on his own party of pedophile protectors.

photo

Adelita Grijalva, newly sworn in Democrat member of the House, in her first floor speech where she wastes no time:

“Basic freedoms are under attack. Health care premiums are skyrocketing. Babies are being ripped away from their parents by ICE agents. We can and must do better.  What is most concerning is not what this administration has done, but what the majority of this body has failed to do—hold Trump accountable. It has been 50 days since the people of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District elected me to represent them. Fifty days that over 800,000 Arizonans have been left without access to the basic services that every constituency deserves. This is an abuse of power. One individual should not be able to unilaterally obstruct the swearing in of a duly elected member of Congress.”

Immediately after her speech, Grijalva became the decisive signature on a discharge petition that would force floor action on a bipartisan bill urging for the release of more files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

photo

Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania’s Democrat governor,  taking on the CouchF*cker over releasing SNAP benefits:

“As for JD Vance … America has a president [and] a vice president that don’t give a damn about all Americans. They have made that crystal clear. And I mean, at least with [Cankles], he’s transparent about that. JD Vance is a total phony. And let me explain why: JD Vance rose to some prominence by writing a book about growing up in Appalachia where there’s a whole lot of people who get SNAP. He made millions of dollars on the backs of telling their stories, and then he turned his damn back on those very people who he likes to write about and claim as his own. Here’s another thing JD Vance claims. He claims to be a person of faith. I know my Bible. And my Bible teaches us that we are to love thy neighbor and we are too feed the hungry. Deuteronomy says, ‘if you see a person who is in need, you don’t give them a clenched fist, you open up your hand.’ So for JD Vance now to turn around after claiming all these things his whole life and literally go to court to stop hungry people from eating, that is not only phony, it is shameful. And this is who is leading America today. And folks gotta wake up and realize the people who are leading in America quite literally wanna keep people hungry. And you’ll excuse me for getting emotional about it, but when I see hungry people in my state who are hungry because of JD Vance’s bullsh*t politics, that makes me angry. And that’s why I went to court. And that is why we’re funding Share. And that is why we are putting dollars back on people’s SNAP cards, because that’s what. The people of Pennsylvania deserve, and America deserves better than JD Vance.”

JD Vance is the guy who said one thing back in the day … like comparing Cankles to Hitler … like portraying himself as an impoverished waif … and another thing today when he claims Cankles is the greatest president ever and rallying about the ‘Let Children Starve’ party.

photo

Pete Buttigieg, former Secretary of Transportation and future President of the United States, took on Cankles for his fact-challenged criticism lies about the air traffic control system:

“The President wouldn’'t last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they’ve been through—and the way this administration has treated them from Day One—he has no business shitting on them now. Other than mostly pronouncing my name right, everything he said was wrong. He told a story about air traffic control that was both false and confusing. He just made a bunch of shit up about air traffic control. This is a system that was in pretty rough shape by the time he lost in 2020 and we took it over. So we improved it, including launching a long-term communications fix that is still under way that he is now passing off as his idea. And thanks to our work, this year he became the first president in decades to inherit an air traffic control workforce that was actually growing instead of shrinking. The most important part of the whole system is the air traffic controllers themselves, which is why it is disgraceful that the president went on social media earlier today and attacked controllers after everything that they’ve been through and at a moment when America has a serious air traffic control shortage. So why would the president be picking a fight with air traffic controllers today of all days? Probably it’s to change the subject from how he and Republicans are increasing your health insurance premiums on purpose right now and how he has totally failed on his promise to make everyday life more affordable. Right now the president is losing on the economy because people can see how he’s failing and people feel it every time they open up an insurance bill, every time they go grocery shopping. So for everyone who wants to see change, let’s stay focused. Let’s keep the pressure on. Let’s take the same energy that saw Democrats dominating Election Day last week and carry it into next year and beyond.”

Cankles and his Transportation Minion, Sean Duffy, are clueless as to what they are talking about. And should check their own records before jumping on any hate ride.

photo

Jasmine Crockett, Democrat Representative from Texas, on MTG’s phony new persona:

“I will tell you that while there is a new Marjorie, as some people have said, I do want to give people an opportunity to do their research. And the reality is that the big ugly bill, it only passed with one vote. And if one more Republican would have defected—we had maybe two Republicans that defected. If we would have just had one more, then we would not be talking about higher insurance premiums. Marjorie Taylor Greene voted for this. Point blank period. Her constituents were the ones that were on the receiving end of this…So you tell me if I am feeling so sad for Marjorie or buying into this because I don't understand why she didn't do the right thing when she had a chance!”

MTG is trying to position her as a more moderate Republican as she faces reelection and a possible run at the White House. She forgets all the crazy things she’ said and done over the years that will stop her in her tracks.

I Didn't Say It ...

Stephen Colbert, on his first show back after CBS canceled his show as, perhaps, a favor and/or a bribe to The Felon:

“Folks, I’m gonna go ahead and say it: Cancel culture has gone too far. Over the weekend, it sunk in that they’re killing off our show. But they made one mistake: They left me alive. On Friday [The Felon] posted, ‘I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert! Greg Gutfeld is better than all of them combined, including the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great Tonight Show.’ How dare you, sir? Would an untalented man be able to compose the following satirical witticism? Go fuck yourself.”

This is not a good look for CBS or Paramount, both who stand to lose a lot of money when advertisers bail their programming; Paramount+ is already losing subscribers.

And Colbert isn’t going anywhere; he still has a voice and can find a new platform anywhere to keep up his monologues about The Felon.

And we’ll be listening.

photo

Jon Stewart, railing against CBS for canceling Stephen Colbert's "Late Show."

“The fact that CBS didn’t try to save their number one-rated network late-night franchise that’s been on the air for over three decades is part of what’s making everybody wonder, was this purely financial? Or maybe the path of least resistance for your $8 billion merger was killing a show that you know rankled a fragile and vengeful president, so insecure, suffering terribly from a case of chronic penis insufficiency. Look, I understand the corporate fear. I understand the fear that you and your advertisers have with $8 billion at stake. But understand this, truly, the shows that you now seek to cancel, censor and control, a not insignificant portion of that $8 billion value came from those fucking shows ... This is not the moment to give in. I’m not giving in. I’m not going anywhere. I think."

Stewart has zero fucks to give and will also keep this story alive about a powerful media conglomerate trying to silence Free Speech.

And he, too, will survive.

photo

Sandra Oh, appearing this week on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert:

“Can I just start by saying something that I feel like probably everyone here and everyone who is so supportive outside wants to say—that I am so sorry and saddened and properly outraged for the cancellation of late night here. Not only for yourself and for this entire family who are here, but for what it means for what it is of where we are in our culture and what it means for free speech. So I just want to say sorry, and also if I can have your hand … [and] to CBS and Paramount, a plague on both of your houses.”

One day the tide will turn and CBS and Paramount will suffer for their goose-stepping along with a lunatic for some extra coins.

photo

Jasmine Crockett, Democrat Texas Representative, on the Texas GOP’s scheme to gerrymander the state and disenfranchise minority voters en masse:

"So first of all it hasn't quite been said, clearly that Texas has always been found to be intentionally discriminatory and so I want y'all to understand the makeup of my state. The state is a majority-minority state. And what this legislature historically has done is what they plan to do again, it's to dilute the voices of people of color in order to make sure that they can get to where they're trying to go. We saw this Department of Justice decided to put out a letter and what did they do? We only have four seats that are represented by Black folk where the vast majority of the people that get to decide who they have represent them are Black. They decided to attack three of the four seats that we have in this state. They decided to go after a Latina. They are specifically deciding to splinter the communities of common interest as well as just blatantly say, 'we are going to dilute minority voices.' So we know that the courts ever since we've had a Voting Rights Act have always found this state to be intentionally discriminatory. That is what they are going to do. So I need people of color to understand that this scheme of the Republicans has consistently been to make sure that they mute our voices so that they can go ahead and have an oversized say in this. So I fully anticipate that's exactly where they're going with this map. It's the only way to do it," she said. "We didn't understand how we got to the map that they gave us last time because that state was grown by 95% people of color. They went out of their way to make sure that we got zero new seats for people of color. So that's exactly what they're going to do this time."

Texas's MAGA Governor Greg Abbott has expanded the legislative agenda for an upcoming special session that begins on July 21st to ram through new redistricting. The seats are Democratically held and are largely Hispanic and Black but Texas Republicans want to break them up, redraw them, and dilute them so that they're more likely to swing red. Thankfully, Democrats aren't taking this fascist power grab lying down. On Friday, ten Democratic lawmakers introduced a bill in Texas called the "Anti-Rigging Act of 2025." It would end mid-decade redistricting unless such action is specifically mandated by a court order.

photo

Jack Schlossberg, hottie and JFK's only grandson, going after Republicans for trying to rename the Kennedy Center's Opera House after First Lady Nude Model Melanie:

"A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces—but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers. JFK believed the arts made our country great and could be our most effective weapon in the fight for civil rights and against authoritarian governments around the world. He took political heat for it at the time—for inviting Black artists to the White House, like the Staples Singers. For supporting Black Americans like Harry Belafonte and James Baldwin on global tours to showcase the best of our society. Pablo Casals, a symbol of resistance to fascism, played for President Kennedy. Yo-yo Ma did too … when he was just 6 years old. Robert Frost performed at JFK’s inaugural. The Mona Lisa came and visited the White House. The [Felon] Administration stands for freedom of oppression, not expression. He uses his awesome powers to suppress free expression and instill fear. But this isn’t about the arts. [The Felon] is obsessed with being bigger than JFK, with minimizing the many heroes of our past, as if that elevates him. It doesn’t. But there’s hope—art lasts forever, and no one can change what JFK and our shared history stands for."

The effort to rename the opera house after the Slovenian Hooker is a blatant attempt on the part of the GOP to kiss some fat gelatinous ass. It's especially pathetic given the fact that Melanie, other than posing nekkid and lying flat on her back with her heels to the heavens while a serial predator, rapist and pedophile, schtupped her, has not a single real accomplishment to her name; she is just the cowardly, greedy woman who enabled her husband's fascism for a few coins and a New York penthouse.
