Bobservations

We have this guy that I’ll call Paul—cuz that’s his name—who has done plumbing work on Casa Bob y Carlos over the years but he mostly came when I was at work so I only spoke to him over the phone.

This week he was out to check one of the burners on our gas stove that appeared clogged, and one of the racks in the dishwasher with a broken wheel … nothing major. And he came back this morning and I got to meet him and I noticed a few things …

He seemed to have no issue with the two queers in the household and was friendly and talkative and nice.

He gave us a No Charge for the stove and only charged for parts for the dishwasher.

He is quite a handsome fella and he’s got these gorgeous Paul Newman Blue eyes.

I could ogle him, if I chose, and I did, and chat with him, which I did, and Carlos doesn’t notice … though I did tell Carlos about his looks and those eyes and his nature.

So it’s all good between me and Carlos … and Blue Eyes … cuz Carlos knows the score.

This Tuxedo Memory is from April 2020 when we were all housebound …

“Tuxedo seems to relish the fact that Carlos and I are in lockdown because now he has company …”

I find it interesting with all that hair on the face and the chest and yet those cakes are smooth as a silky vanilla ganache. Go figure.

Federal Judge Lewis Liman has ordered Drunkle Rudy, AKA Rudy Giuliani, AKA The Felon’s attorney and former New York mayor, to turn over his Manhattan penthouse apartment to the control of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the Georgia election workers he defamed and to whom he now owes $150 million.

The judge says Drunkle Rudy must turn over his interest in the property in seven days, so Freeman and Moss can sell it, potentially for millions of dollars. The women are also entitled to about $2 million in legal fees Giuliani has said The Felon’s campaign still owes him.

Sorry, Rudy, not sorry.

I have begun to wonder if  Demented DonOLD  wears Depends because of “the enemy within”?

I will begin by saying I adore Jessica Chastain, but gurl, when she steps in it, she steps in it …

Chastain got dragged on social media after calling out JetBlue because their inflight entertainment was down during a recent trip; and even though she, like every other passenger on the flight, was offered a $15 credit for the inconvenience, she was not having it:

“Thank you @JetBlue for your $15.00 credit. My flight was $1,500 and the credit is 1/100 of the money I paid you. Strange that I paid that for your flight entertainment system that didn’t work for the duration of my 6hr flight, but I guess it was worth it for this $15 credit.”

When the airline informed her that everyone received the same $15 credit Chastain ratcheted up her ire:

“I understand but I spent $1500 on the flight and so did my husband. There should be some flight credit or something since I have a TrueBlue account and have been a loyal customer.”

And as happens, Xwitterers came for her:

“Jessica Chastain beefing with an airline publicly on twitter shows that no matter how much money you have you’ll never stop being a millennial,”

“Is 6 hours together that horrible that you lose it over not having movies to watch?”

“Jessica Chastain is whining about paying $1,500 for a Jet Blue flight and not having a working TV. The way you can be a millionaire but still be a broke bitch at heart.”

As one Twitterer said, Jessica should learn to read the room because then she wouldn’t spend her valuable time deleting all her self-entitled, broke-ass Tweets and texts.

That moment when I get to the cash register and the cashier says, “Will that be all?” and I say, “No, I’m gonna buy more stuff but I wanted to show you what I’d picked out so far.”

Lara, married to The Dumb One, appeared on The Breakfast Club as a surrogate for The Felon and was presented with a list of racist remarks and deeds of father-in-law:

Like when the Justice Department sued The Felon for denying apartments to  Black tenants and he was ordered to place ads in newspapers saying he accepted Black applicants.

Like when he took out ads in New York papers saying the Central Park Five—who were coerced into confessing to a crime—should be given the “DEATH PENALTY.” When their convictions were vacated in 2002, and after the city paid $41 million in 2014 to settle their civil rights lawsuit, The Felon continued to defame them.

And of course, there’s ‘birtherism’ and his questions about when Kamala turned Black and his lies about Haitian migrants in Ohio eating dogs and cats and how he demonizes minorities in every single one of his sparsely attended rallies. But apparently, that’s all news to Lara:

“I think that’s ridiculous. I’ve known this man for 16 years. You can go to each of those incidents. There was never any proof of anything with the houses … there was no admission of anything there. The Central Park Five, there were so many people. You had a Democrat governor, Democrat DA who prosecuted those guys, and they admitted to it. I’ve never seen this man say a racist thing.”

And that’s when host Charlemagne The God began to laugh, forcing Lara to mutter:

“Why’s that funny, Charlemagne?”

And he said:

“I think that’s hysterical. People act like there’s no such thing as Google, or we don’t have TV.”

Cuz all you gotta do is look and there he is spewing his racist bull shiz.

Zendaya giving us her best Cher as she inducted the icon into the Rock’n’roll Hall of Fame; it was like a two-fer.

Paul Forman is a 30-year-old English and French actor and model; he has been in the Amazon Prime series Riches, the Netflix series Emily in Paris, and the Paramount+ series Stags but the real issue is Would You Hit It?

I Didn't Say It ...

Taraji P. Henson, urging guests at the 2024 BET Awards to look up Project 2025, educate themselves on it and vote:

"I'm telling y'all, you better show up and show out. I'm being serious now. It's not just about the presidential election, you guys. It's time for us to play chess, not checkers. It’s about making decisions that will affect us as human beings. Our careers, our next generations to come. Did you know that it is now a crime to be homeless? Pay attention. It’s not a secret. Look it up. They are attacking our most vulnerable citizens. The Project 2025 plan is not a game. Look it up. I'm not trying to scare us, I'm trying to inform us. I’m talking to the mad people who don't want to vote. You're gonna be mad about a lot of things if you don't vote."

So … Project 2025, known as the Presidential Transition Project, is a conglomerate of conservative policy proposals, potential picks to fill positions for the next administration, and more in the event that The Felon is elected president.

Henson also criticized the recent set of U.S. House bills, including the defense bill to automatically register men between a certain age for the draft and the suggested update that would include women.

It’s real, and a Blue vote could stop it.

Lara T, goose-stepping daughter-in-law of The Felon, suddenly concerned about democratic norms.

“Joe Biden has said he’s not going anywhere. His campaign came out right after that debate and said not only is he not quitting. They have committed to do the debate in September as well, which is shocking to hear. But Kamala Harris polls just about as bad, if not worse in a lot of cases, than Joe Biden. And so, they have a huge problem on their hands. If they remove Joe Biden from the ticket somehow and they do not have Kamala Harris as their nominee, and they try to plug someone else in, Maria, it is literally going against our democratic process here in this country.”

If, as this loon bleats, Kamala polls worse than Biden then why isn’t she all for Biden dropping out? Is it because she’s afraid Kamala would wipe the floor with her racist, rapist, traitorous con artist father-in-law?

PS I was hard-pressed to find a single picture of Lara T. where she doesn’t look like she’s on the verge of giving an oral argument.

photo

Hakeem Jeffries, Minority Leader of the House, on this week’s SCOTUS ruling to protect The Felon:

“House Democrats will engage in aggressive oversight and legislative activity with respect to the Supreme Court to ensure that the extreme, far-right justices in the majority are brought into compliance with the Constitution.”

Just one more in a long line of reasons to Vote Blue; make Jeffries Speaker of the House and give Blue a majority and they will school the court.

photo

Nancy Pelosi, on The Felon’s own issues with mental acuity:

“I want you to know I came home to California, south and north, and the people are for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They have some judgment about a person who stood on that stage and lied, lied, lied, if you’re just talking about the debate. I am respectful of some of the opinions that people have, but it is also respectful of the grassroots. My people are very much for Biden and Kamala Harris and this is an opportunity for Joe Biden to go out there and show he has the stamina. By the way, there are health care professionals who think that [The Felon] has dementia. That his connection of his thoughts do not go together. It’s not only that he just lies. He doesn’t even know the truth. So if we’re talking about mental acuity, let’s be fair about it, I don’t think … that [The Felon] should be president of the United States.”

Case in point? Read on …

The Felon, talking utter nonsense at another rally of his;

“All they know is electric, they want electric army tanks, they want electric planes. What happens if the sun isn’t shining while you’re up in the air? Well, sir, those, you know that I told you there’d be problems, sir. No, they want electric everything every day. They want electric boats. The problem, the boats, they, they don’t float because the battery is so heavy. It sinks the boat. They say we don’t care. We want 'em anyway.”

Yes, if the sun isn’t out the planes can’t fly.

That’s the kind of leadership the GOP is trying to foist on America.

photo

John Fetterman, on the talk of Biden stepping aside:

“That whole abandoned Biden thing—that’s the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard. I mean, if you are more inclined to vote for a Democrat or be a Democrat, if you’re willing to walk away from Joe Biden—you’re, by defecting, helping [The felon]. I had a difficult debate, and yet we still managed to go on to win [the election]. Now, everybody was calling that—that was the end of my career, that was the end of this race and everyone was predicting that I was going to lose actually by 2 points or more. And I smoked Oz by 5 points and that’s what I’m saying. It—it’s like one debate is not a career.”

Truth.

I Didn't Say It

Annette Bening, on the GOP and the conservatives’ efforts to stoke anti-transgender bigotry for political gain:

“They are trying to stir up all this fear in people about trans kids and parents, and they are trying to legislate that. This should not be scary to anybody else. This is a private, legitimate, complex, deep, spiritual, physical, psychological experience that has to be respected and honored. At the bottom line, life is about love. For me, the real transition has happened as the right wing in the country has become more and more mobilized on misinforming people about the LGBTQ community. They have been vilifying our community and creating problems that do not exist and creating and sowing hate and fear as a way of rallying their base. That’s obviously not new, and it’s happened in the campaigns of the past, especially against gay people. But now it’s transphobia, and it’s just rampant. They’re doing it at a time when there are more and more trans people who are living openly and who are our teachers, our writers, and our doctors … what I would wish is for every person to have someone who is trans in their family because once somebody you love is trans, then you get it. I am incredibly proud of [my son], and he has carved his own way. He’s someone I do admire, and I’ve learned a lot from when he first came out. I was very ignorant about what that meant to be a trans kid. I, like every other parent, want to protect my kids and make sure they’re OK, and I had a lot of learning to do. I didn’t always know what to do, and I didn’t always make the right choices because of my own ignorance, but we got through it [and] we all have a responsibility to protect and defend the rights of trans folks in our world. They’re precious parts of our community.”

The attacks on trans people are personal for Bening, whose son, writer Stephen Ira, is trans. The four-time Academy Award nominee and recently appointed chair of the board of the Entertainment Community Fund admitted to a certain hesitation in talking about her son publicly.

She also vowed to continue to use here platform to advocate for trans people.

Knowledge is power; love is love; the conservative right is wrong.

Hillary Clinton, after the latest Thing 45 indictment:

“I don’t feel any satisfaction. I feel great profound sadness that we have a former president that has been indicted for so many charges that went right to the heart of whether or not our democracy would survive. I don’t know that anybody should be satisfied. This is a terrible moment for our country, to have a former president accused of these terribly important crimes. The only satisfaction is that the system is working. That all of the efforts by [Thing 45] and his allies and enablers to try and silence the truth and undermine democracy have been brought into the light. And justice is being pursued.”

She tried to warn us in 2016 and a lot of us didn’t listen.

I’m still with her.

photo

Lara, speaking on Newsmax, whining about her Daddy-In-Law and playing another round of Whataboutism:

“What they accused our campaign and my father-in-law of doing in 2016, conspiring somehow with Russia to win an election. Hillary Clinton herself and the DNC actually did these things. And I think beyond that, this is what is frustrating to people, to see them throwing everything at the wall, to see anything that might stick for [Thing 45] because they don’t care in actuality how it is they prevent him from becoming president of the United States again. That is their angle. And they will try everything as evidenced now by this fourth ridiculous indictment. But to see Hillary Clinton out there talking about it, laughing about it, cackling about it, to know that the Biden family is basically getting away with selling out the United States of America, as far as all of us have seen with our own eyes, it is insane to see.”

He gets indicted and the GOP and the wingnut news people, and the family members on the payroll, or those looking to secure a spot in the will,  start squawking, Hillary!!! Hunter!!! Joe!!!

In the words of her criminal Daddy-in-Law, 'It's sad.'

photo

Brian Kemp, Georgia’s GOP Governor, on Thing 45’s claim that he will be “irrefutably exonerated” in a report to be released next week:

“The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen. For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward—under oath—and prove anything in a court of law. Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus.”

Good on Kemp for standing up against a traitor but, to be clear, Kemp is not all about fair elections.

Just ask people of color in his state.

photo

Eminem, on Thing 45 and his base … the MAGAts … the basket of deplorables:

“I just get flustered and frustrating watching him play to his base that thinks that he cares about them and it’s actually the people that he cares about the f**king least. If you’re talking about his core being, ya know, a majority white middle class, what I don’t understand is how in the f**k do you feel like you relate to a billionaire who has never known struggle his entire f**king life? I will say this, he talks a good one. And if you’re in his base, let’s say you’re going to the rallies or whatever, you watch him on TV, you hear him talking this s**t, there’s part of me that understands, like, Alright, he’s somehow still got them because he’s brainwashing them into thinking something great is going to happen. Nothing’s happening.”

For those MAGAts shrieking about Thing 45’s Freedom of Speech being used against him, that is exactly what you’re doing to Eminem because he dares speak out about the con artist who has his hands in your wallet.

photo

Trixie Mattel, drag queen, on the right’s fear of drag queens and children:

“We don’t think about your kids. We don’t hope they’re gay. We don’t hope they turn out trans. We don’t hope they become drag queens. What we hope is that, if they are trans or gay, they find a community faster than many of us did.”

We just want to show those kids who may be LGBTQ+ that there is a way to happiness and self-acceptance and if parents think that’s somehow wrong, perhaps they shouldn't be parents.

I Didn't Say It

John Kelly, former Chief of Staff for Thing 45, on his former boss’ praise of Putin:

“Disbelief. [Putin’s] a tyrant. He’s a murderer. He has attacked an innocent country whose only crime is that they want to be free and democratic and they’re working in that direction and have been working in that direction. Yes. Tyrants are smart. They know what they’re doing. But that’s—I can’t imagine why someone would look at what’s happening there and see it anything other than a criminal act. I don’t get it."

You’d think he’d know, after spending so much time as a Thing 45 sycophant.

photo

Tucker Carlson, Fox News fuck, on Putin and Russia, and proving himself to be an iditol and a traitor:

“Has Putin ever called me a racist? Has he threatened to get me fired for disagreeing with him? Has he shipped every middle-class job in my town to Russia? Did he manufacture a worldwide pandemic that wrecked my business and kept me indoors for two years? Is he teaching my children to embrace racial discrimination? Is he making fentanyl? Is he trying to snuff out Christianity? Does he eat dogs? These are fair questions, and the answer to all of them is no. Vladimir Putin didn’t do any of that.”

Let’s break it down: racists like Putin don’t call other racists racist, they call them comrade.

Putin won’t Tucker fired if he ever disagrees with him, he’ll just have him murdered as he’s done before.

Every middle-class job in America has gone to Russia? Luckily, Tucker, who is heir to the Swanson TV dinner fortune, wouldn’t know a middle-class job if it bitch-slapped him.

Tucker forgets it was his hero, his idol, who bungled a pandemic that kept people locked up and out of work for two years.

Tucker doesn’t want lily white children to learn about POC because then they’ll see what the racism in people like Ticker, at Fox News and in the GOP.

And I’m still waiting to see Democrats come for Bibles. Perhaps after they come for all the guns?

Tucker Carlson is a pandering one-percenter trying to come off like he cares about America when all he cares about is stroking his ego and his microdick … an affliction he shares with Putin and Thing 45.

photo

Lara _____, as dumb as her husband, accusing Trudeau of deploying the police in a “Gestapo-like” manner, cuz when all else fails, break out the Nazi comparisons:

“It is tyranny, what you [saw] happening in Canada. And let me tell you something. When you think of a tyrannical government, you often think of places like North Korea. [This] is how it starts. They start chipping away, one by one at your freedoms until you don’t even realize they’re gone. It is a really dangerous game they’re playing up there in Canada.”

Funny, that the majority of Canadians favor the vaccine and the mandates except for a few MAGAty truckers, eh, Lara? I’d beg you to get your facts straight, but you couldn’t tell a fact from a lie if your life, and your husband’s inheritance, depended on it.

photo

Neil Cavuto, Fox Business host returning to the air after a five-week absence:

“I’m back. I did get COVID again—but a far, far more serious strand, what doctors call ‘COVID pneumonia.’ It landed me in intensive care for quite a while and it really was touch-and-go. Some of you who wanted to put me out of your misery darn near got what you wished for. Sorry to disappoint you. But no, the vaccine didn’t cause that. That grassy knoll theory has come up a lot. My very compromised immune system did. Because I’ve had cancer and right now I have multiple sclerosis, I’m among the vulnerable three percent or so of the population that cannot sustain the full benefits of a vaccine. But let me be clear, doctors say had I not been vaccinated at all, I wouldn’t be here.”

Good on him for speaking out, but … big surprise … he received all sorts of hate mail for pushing the vaccine because … MAGAts and Fox.

photo

Kenosha Murderer—I won’t say his name—threatening to sue Whoopi Goldberg and a whole “list” of other celebrities and politicians for calling him a murderer:

“We’re gonna be holding them accountable. I want to hold them accountable for what they did to me ’cause I don’t want to see anybody have to go through what I did. We’re going to hold everybody who lied about me accountable, such as everybody who lied and called me a white supremacist. They’re all going to be held accountable. And we’re going to handle them in a courtroom.”

Oh Killer, you stupid little murderous racist. Ever heard of Free Speech? You should check it out while you still have a few minutes of your Fifteen left.

And let’s be clear, murderer, you were not found innocent, you were found not guilty and that is not the same thing. You took the lives of human beings, and that makes you a murderer.

Buh-bye killer.

photo

Kerry Washington, actor, honoring one of my heroes, Rosa Parks, during Black History Month.

“A lot of people think that Rosa’s activism started with her refusing to give up her seat on the bus, but she lived a life of activism long before that. Fighting, boycotting, marching, and even working as an investigator for the NAACP, advocating against sexual assaults on Black women. It was Rosa Park’s act of civil disobedience on that bus that sparked a revolution. She took that seat in order to take a stand. That seat on the bus was her fighting stance—and so we continue the fight today, in whatever way we can! Let’s ask ourselves, what can we do! Sit. Stand. March. Make calls. Volunteer. Talk to your family and friends. Do whatever you can and however you can. Rosa taught us that. And we are forever grateful. It was an honor to honor her.”

In a world of Tucker Carlson’s and Lara _____s and Kenosha Murderers, be a Rosa Parks.

Stand up and speak up and act up.

Bobservations

The other morning MaxGoldberg came for breakfast, ate too fast, and then proceeded to hairball in the dining room. There was drama and name-calling and shouts for paper towels as I cleaned up the mess. Moments later Carlos and I were sitting down to breakfast, and into the kitchen comes Max looking for food.

“Oh no you don’t. You don’t get to eat, puke it up and then come back for more. Who do you think you are? Karen Carpenter?”

Carlos says:

“Whatever happened to her?”

“She died. She had an eating disorder …”

“Her brother was hot.”

I have never met someone who can take a conversation about vomiting cats and bulimic pop stars and instantly turn it into … her brother was hot.

Oh, this could be good because, if true, it could spell the end of Clarence from the court. Both Tuxedo and I are giddy with anticipation.

This week in Ottawa, local residents came to the rescue of a driver whose car had crashed through the ice of the Rideau River, using kayaks to rescue her from the sinking vehicle.

While trying to get to the woman, who was standing on top of the car as if slipped below the surface, the woman stopped  to take a selfie.

There’s a special place in Stupid Hell™ for these kinds of folks.

On Fox this week, Lara, the wife of Eric, The Dumb One, was ranting about Microsoft Word’s Clippy and the fact that Clippy suggested changes to words like “postman” into “letter carrier” and “mankind” into “humankind.” Mrs. The Dumb One ranted that:

“Someone is reading this?! And assessing what I’m writing?”

She seemed to think that Clippy was a real person watching and reading what she was typing in Word instead of an AI programed into what they call “office assistant.” And no one told Mrs. The Dumb One that Clippy, AKA Office Assistant, can be turned off with a couple of clicks.

Dumb runs in the family.

Continuing the stupid … several pro-Thing 45 rioters who broke into the Capitol building last January, and have yet to be arrested, say they  dropped some of their personal belongings while ransacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office and they would like those items returned.

Pelosi’s staffers handed the requests over to law enforcement officials who were given names, home addresses, social security numbers, etc.

Seriously stupid.

With The Queen’s approval and agreement, Prince Andrew has been officially stripped of his military affiliations and royal patronages, just one day after a federal judge in New York denied Andrew’s motion that the civil sexual assault case against him be dropped.

Ouch. Even Mummy has had it with Randy Andy.

I keep hearing about a reboot of Gotham, so I’ll be ready with my audition outfit but I need a good name for my villain … what should it be?

A group of North Carolina voters told state officials that they want Madison Cawthorn disqualified as a congressional candidate, citing his involvement in last January’s insurrection by questioning the presidential election outcome.

Lawyers filed a candidacy challenge of Cawthorn on behalf of 11 voters who contend that Cawthorn can’t run because he fails to comply with an 1868 amendment to the Constitution which says no one can serve in Congress “who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress . . . to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same.”

Simply put, traitors cannot run for office.

Over the weekend, our next door neighbor saw me sitting on our back deck, and called out:

“Where's your husband?”

“In the garden.”

“I didn't see him.”

“You have to dig a little.”

That’s all.

This is model, fitness instructor, actor Eric Guilmette. I am not usually a fan of pec tattoos, but maybe I can overlook his. Could you? Would you hit it?
