A few weeks ago, I told y’all about Carlos’ outrage at the Charmin bears quibbling over who is to pick up the underwear on the bathroom floor because, as he shrieked:

“They’re naked!!”

Now he has a new target … the Liberty Mutual Emu, AKA the LiMu Emu. It seems in one commercial the emu’s human partner is motoring the duo across the desert on a motorcycle with a sidecar. Carlos grows incensed, because as they are spreading across the sands, the human partner’s tie is not flapping in the wind.

He had no issue with an emu in the sidecar of a motorcycle, but a non-flapping tie sends him over the end.

Oy, mi Madre.

While he generally likes most people, and is not at all skittish, Tuxedo, like his daddy, has an extremely low tolerance for stupid.

After thousands of people visited Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, over Memorial Day weekend, there are now new cases exploding across the state.

Hope they all had a good time, and hope there’s a bed at the hospital for them.

Two weeks after your GOP-controlled Supreme Court struck down Democratic Governor Tony Evers’ stay-at-home order, there are now a record number of COVID-19 deaths and new cases for you.

Oscar Isaac, My-Husband-In-My-Head, recently appeared on Twitter in a mask and a Joe Biden hat and people went nuts. I mean, the mask they were pissed off about, but he had the audacity to also wear that cap!

Personally I was furious I couldn’t see his gorgeous face, but anyway … for you asshats that are pissed that Oscar has and wears a Biden hat, I hope you equally pissed at the MAGA-hat wearing morons storming state buildings to protest a deadly pandemic.

But I doubt you’re that bright. And heeeeeeere's Oscar ....

Speaking of stupid … I was going to post this in tomorrow’s I Didn’t Say it, but I chose to use that post for real people with real feelings and raw emotions. Still, we need to know what an absolute racist idiot and goose-stepping Nazi for _____ that is Laura Ingraham.  Let’s listen …my commentary is in red:

I’ll stop her there because she is actually suggesting that a millionaire—he’s no billionaire—white racist president knows the same feeling of police brutality as a black man in America? And a black man, among many, who was murdered in America?

While the evangelicals cheer him on because all the right people are being murdered in this country, it’s nice to see a man take on the Racist In Chief.

After teargassing and firing rubber bullets into a crowd of peaceful protestors so he could hold up a Bible in front of a church. The next day _____ visited a shrine honoring Pope John Paul II, and one man, Archbishop Wilton Gregory, was not having it:

“I find it baffling and reprehensible that any Catholic facility would allow itself to be so egregiously misused and manipulated in a fashion that violates our religious principles, which call us to defend the rights of all people even those with whom we might disagree.”

That’s the polite way of saying to _____, you, too, can fuck all the way off.

A new CBS News/YouGov poll shows that most people agree that the Racist-In-Chief favors white people.

Not surprising, really, except that 58% of Republicans agree that he’s pro-white.

The poll didn’t say how many of those 58% agree with ____, but I’m guessing it’s around 58%.

Sorry Republicans, if you stand by a racist and support a racist, you’re a racist.

Out there in Iowa, the people voted in the GOP primary and voted asshatted, homophobic, racist, white supremacist, Nazi, Klansman Steve King out of office after nine terms.

We watched The Girl in the Spider’s Web the other night. It was kind of like a female James Bond, but one thing that made it interesting was that Claire Floy played the badass; and this was right on the heels of her playing Elizabeth II in The Crown.

The other two good things about the movie were Lakeith Stanfield, top—I’m assuming—as a hot nerd and sharpshooter, and  Sverrir Gudnason, bottom—perhaps—as a journalist.

Eye candy and Lizzie as a badass? Please.

Steve King ... Racist ... White Supremacist ... Congressman

Iowa’s Republican Congressman Steve King is a racist, a homophobe, a transphobe; he’s anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant; he’s every kind of bigot you’ve ever heard of, and probably a few you haven’t.

In 2002, as an Iowa state representative, King filed a bill requiring schools to teach that the United States “is the unchallenged greatest nation in the world and that it has derived its strength from … Christianity, free enterprise capitalism and Western civilization.” Western Civilization is a King code word for white people. He also sponsored a law to make English the official language of Iowa.

In 2005, in the US Congress, King introduced the English Language Unity Act, a bill to make English the official language of the United States, while suing the Iowa Secretary of State for posting voting information in Spanish, Laotian, Bosnian and Vietnamese.

King has called the deaths of Americans at the hands of undocumented immigrants “a slow-motion Holocaust” and claimed, without fact, that 25 Americans die daily because of undocumented immigrants.  He demonstrated a model of a 12-foot concrete border wall topped with electrified wire; both of these ideas became the rallying cry of _____ in 2016.

He has spoken, on the House floor, of ways police officers can spot undocumented immigrants by their clothing, their shoes, their speech. He opposed the Affordable Care Act’s mandate to cover contraception because he thought it would lead to the death of “civilization,” i.e. white folks.

On a 2012 panel at the Conservative Political Action Conference with Peter Brimelow, a white nationalist,  King said multiculturalism was a “tool for the Left to subdivide a culture and civilization into our own little ethnic enclaves and pit us against each other.”

In 2013, King came out against legal status for Dreamers because, “for everyone who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert. Those people would be legalized with the same act.” That seemed to set the stage for _____’s “some of them, I’m sure, are good people” remarks.

In 2015, King invited far-right, anti-Islam Dutch politician Geert Wilders to DC; Wilders has called Islam “not a religion,” said the Quran was “worse than Mein Kampf,” and called for the closing of mosques. In 2017, King Tweeted his endorsement of Wilders in Dutch elections:

“Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

Later, defending that Tweet, King said:“We’re watching as Western civilization is shrinking in the face of the massive, epic migration that is pouring into Europe. That’s the core of that tweet. They’re importing a different culture, a different civilization — and that culture and civilization, the imported one, rejects the host culture. And so they are supplanting Western civilization with Middle Eastern civilization and I say, and Geert Wilders says, Western civilization is a superior civilization — it is the first world.”

In 2016, at the Republican national Convention, where _____won the nomination, King claimed that nonwhite groups haven’t contributed as much as whites to civilization:

“This whole business does get a little tired. I would ask you to go back through history and figure out where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people you are talking about. Where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?”

On the heels of that lunacy, King told the Washington Post a few days later:

“The idea of multiculturalism, that every culture is equal—that’s not objectively true … We’ve been fed that information for the past 25 years, and we’re not going to become a greater nation if we continue to do that.”

In October, King met Marine Le Pen, the leader of France’s far-right party; he was the first elected American official to do so. He also met with leaders of the far-right Freedom Party, founded in 1950 by former Nazis, including Heinz-Christian Strache and Norbert Hofer.

Steve King recommended people read “The Camp of the Saints,” a racist 1973 novel about an invasion of Europe by nonwhite immigrants, and Tweets his agreement with Viktor Orban, Hungary’s authoritarian leader that “mixing cultures will not lead to a higher quality of life but a lower one.”

In 2018, he said he did not want Somali Muslims working in meatpacking plants in Iowa because he didn’t “want people doing my pork that won’t eat it, let alone hope I go to hell for eating pork chops.” He was then asked by a Huffington Post reporter if he is a white nationalist or white supremacist, and he said:

“I don’t answer those questions. I say to people that use those kind of allegations: Use those words a million times, because you’re reducing the value of them every time, and many of the people that use those words and make those allegations and ask those questions can’t even define the words they’re using.”

linked to the far-right Freedom PartyKing also endorsed Toronto mayoral candidate, Faith Goldy, who had recited the Fourteen Words, or 14/88, a Neo-Nazi slogan:

“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.”

At that time the Anti-Defamation League demanded House Speaker Paul Ryan censure of King for endorsing Goldy, but nothing is done.

And finally, all this leads to 2019, when, in another interview, King says:

“White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive? Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”

And that, and only that spurred Congress, now with a Democratic majority, to censure Steve King; that, and only that, spurred House Republican leaders to strip Steve King of all his committee assignments, including the powerful Judiciary and Agriculture Committees, and keep him from serving on any committee in this Congress.

Still, with all he’s said and done over the last decade, it took  many top GOP leaders several days before denouncing King's comments, although not his political beliefs or policies. But many House Democrats are acting to rebuke and censure white nationalist, white supremacist, racist Steve King.

Congressman Bobby Rush, the Democrat from Illinois, and a top member of the Congressional Black Caucus, said:

"He has become too comfortable with proudly insulting, disrespecting, and denigrating people of color. As with any animal that is rabid, Steve King should be set aside and isolated.”

And now it appears King is trying to walk back ten years of Hate Speech; he took the floor of the House to say he denounced the "evil ideologies" of white nationalism and white supremacism and called his poor choice of words a "rookie mistake."

Ten years? He’s been saying these things, publicly, for over ten years. But what I find most troubling about the GOP is that, if you go back and listen to some of the things King has said and done over the last decade, you’ll find many of his actions, many of his words, were lifted up and spread anew by _____ as he ran for office, and yet not one Republican denounced him for those words; not one Republican demanded he not be president; they stood by his said and refused to comment when he said Mexicans are drug dealers and rapists and murderers, though some are good people; they stood by and said nothing when he said of the riots in Charlottesville, that there are good people on both sides of that cause.

The GOP can remove King from committee after committee and rebuke him or censure him all they want, but the cancer in that party, that huge seed of racism, is still growing in the White House and they are doing nothing about it. 

Think about this: when asked about King and his racist views the so-called President of the United States said he hadn't heard anything about it. He didn't have an opinion on whether King should be censured, or if he should resign because, as he's often said, "some of them are fine people."

So, it’s up to We The People … get rid of the racist cancer in Congress and then remove it from the White House.

The Biggest Bigots On the Ballot in 2018 ...And All Republicans

I have been saying that ever since _____ took office the bigots, haters, racists, misogynists, homophobes and, yes, child molesters, would come crawling out of the woodwork and into the light, emboldened by their Orange leader.

And here are some of them, thanks to RollingStone …

Joe Arpaio, running for US Senate from Arizona.

Arpaio, the former Maricopa County Sheriff, gained national notice when he instructed his officers to demand proof of citizenship from any person suspected of being undocumented.

When the courts ruled his idea unconstitutional—cuz it’s racial profiling—he kept doing it. And so, he was convicted of contempt of court in 2017, but then pardoned by _____ before he was even sentenced, and then said he was running for office.

John Fitzgerald, running for US Congress from California.

A rabid anti-Semite, Fitzgerald is a Holocaust-denier—six million Jews were not murdered in Nazi Germany—and believes 9/11 was a Jewish-orchestrated conspiracy. Amazingly enough, Fitzgerald received more than 36,000 votes in his California primary, earning a slot on the ballot in November. Since then, he’s been all over the media with his neo-Nazi, anti-Semitic rhetoric promising to expose “the truth about the Holocaust and how it’s an absolute fabricated lie.”

Seth Grossman, running for US Congress from New Jersey.

Grossman is a former city councilman and county freeholder from Atlantic City who believes that gay men should have been quarantined in the ‘80s and has called Islam “a cancer.” On Facebook, he’s shared posts by Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer, anti-Islam agitator Pamela Geller, alt-right poster boy Milo Yiannopoulos as well as racist memes, including one that suggested Arabs, like Obama, want to “move to your country, rape our women, bomb your buses, riot in your streets, and demand that you accept [their] religion.”

Arthur Jones, running for US Congress from Illinois.

Jones, a member of the American Nazi party, lost seven bids for Congress before finally securing the GOP nomination this year, after _____ became president. The Illinois state GOP worked to defeat him, but twenty-thousand Republicans voted for the man who called the Holocaust was “a greatly overblown nonevent.”

King—the incumbent and considered a shoo-in for an eighth term—has retweeted the thoughts of prominent bigots like Geert Wilders, Mark Collett and Viktor Orbán; he has proudly displayed a Confederate flag on his desk for years, has said white people have contributed more to civilization than any other “subgroup” in history, and has characterized immigrants having “calves the size of cantaloupes” from hauling drugs across the desert.

Paul Nehlen, running for US Congress from Wisconsin.

Nehlen describes himself as the “pro-White” congressional candidate and is a friend of ex-KKK Grand Wizard David Duke and Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin. He’s been permanently suspended by both Twitter—for racist “jokes”—and his views are so toxic that he’s not only been condemned by the state GOP and Paul Ryan—yes, Ryan actually spoke out against someone in his own party—whose seat he’s seeking.

Corey Stewart, running for US Senate from Virginia.

At the height of the debate over Confederate monuments last year, Stewart declared on Twitter, “Nothing is worse than a Yankee telling a Southerner that his monuments don’t matter.” More recently, he’s asserted his disbelief “that the Civil War was ultimately fought over the issue of slavery.”

Russell Walker, running for US House from North Carolina.

Walker says that “God is a racist and a white supremacist” and that all Jewish people are descendants of Satan; he won the GOP primary and since then has appeared on the white supremacist Stormfront Action podcast where he used the N-word to call voters in his own district; he will face an African American minister in November general election.

On the upside, some of these racist, bigoted, homophobic, misogynistic asshats have already been defeated, like …

Nathan Larson ran for US Congress from Virginia.

Larson, a Libertarian, created a series of websites for likeminded pedophiles and involuntary celibates. His campaign manifesto envisioned a country where a “benevolent white supremacy” ruled, where incest and child pornography were legal, where the Violence Against Women Act was repealed and replaced by “a system that classifies women as property, initially of their fathers and later of their husbands.” Larson got less than two percent of the vote in the primary, but he’ll have a second shot when he appears on the general election ballot in November.

Patrick Little, ran for US Senate from California.

Little campaigned for the chance to challenge Dianne Feinstein under the slogan “Liberate the US from the Jewish Oligarchy.” His platform included a promise to have the United States formally declare the Holocaust “a Jewish war atrocity propaganda hoax that never happened.”

Roy Moore ran for US Senate in Alabama.

Moore, a chief justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court, tried, and failed to fight off criticism of his racist, anti-gay and transphobic views for years. His Senate bid was tanked by multiple credible accusations of sexual misconduct with underage girls.

So, you see, that while the racists and haters are feeling emboldened to step into the light, they are being defeated, though some have inched forward to the general Election in November.

All the more reason to register and vote, and tell everyone you know to register and vote. Vote out the GOP—whose mute indifference to _____ and these racists—has emboldened them to step forward.

Make it clear that this is not happening. This will not happen.

South Carolina Republican Wants Pride Flags Taken Down

So much going on in politics, scandals and scandals, sex and political, and all at the feet of the Fat Bastard. So, you know the politicians in charge would be doing something about it, right?

Not if you’re a politician from South Carolina—where it’s not the heat, it’s the stupidity. Nope, Republican Congressman Jeff Duncan has introduced legislation that aims to bar U.S. embassies from flying the Pride flag in recognition of the LGBT community.

Duncan quietly introduced the measure—because homophobes fear the light—which seeks to “prohibit the flying of any flag other than the United States flag over United States diplomatic and consular posts, and for other purposes.” Now, we have the title of the legislation … H.R.6450 … but the full text of the legislation isn’t online at the Library of Congress website—again, homophobes fear the light—and Jeff Duncan’s office isn’t responding to questions from the media.

However, Ian Thompson, legislative director of the American Civil Liberties Union [ACLU] is talking and he says, based on the title of the legislation, the measure seems aimed at barring U.S. embassies from flying Pride flags, though the wording isn’t specific to the Pride flag:

“[But] that is clearly the motivation for this ridiculous, petty bill. It is telling that many of the most doggedly anti-LGBTQ members of the House of Representatives are co-sponsors.”

Those thirty-three co-sponsors include a plethora of the most wacknut, anti-LGBT lunatics in Congress, from Republican Vicky Hartzler, Missouri, to Republican Steve King, Iowa, Republican in the midst of a sex scandal, Jim Jordan, Ohio, and Republican, and certifiable asshat, Louie Gohmert of Texas.

Before now the flying of Pride flags at U.S. embassies has become common as a sign of U.S. solidarity with the LGBT community overseas and just days ago, for the first time ever, the U.S. embassy in Belize raised the Pride flag in support of LGBT people in that country. 

But Jeff Duncan is still trying to lie about his little legislation:

“The United States flag is the single greatest symbol of freedom the world has ever known, and there’s no reason for anything but Old Glory to be flying over our embassies and posts around the globe.”

Except to show that this country, under most presidents, except the amoral traitorous kind that Duncan, Hartzler, King, Jordan and Gohmert, support, this country is proud of its LGBTQ citizens.

But hey, what’s a little hate from the GOP? It’s business as usual.

After the story broke that Kevin Spacey had tried to molest 14-year-old actor, Anthony Rapp, thirty years ago, it was announced that this next season of Spacey’s Netflix how, House of Cards, would be its last.

Now, though, production of the upcoming sixth and final season of the show has been suspended indefinitely:

“MRC and Netflix have decided to suspend production oh House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew.”

Good. I mean, if thirty year old assault charges against Harvey Weinstein force him out of a job, the same should be done to Kevin Spacey. It doesn’t matter how many victims ... one is too many ... no matter the gender or sexual orientation.

Oh, and let’s add director Brett Ratner, Dustin Hoffman and Jeremy Piven to the list of men who have sexually assaulted or harassed women.

Also speaking out about sexual harassment in Hollywood is actor Gilles Marini, who played Samantha’s neighbor Dante on Sex and the City for two seasons, who says that after his appearance on the show he “became a piece of meat for many executives in Hollywood.”

Without offering any specifics about the unwanted sexual advances, Marini says:

“I didn’t have to talk about it because I told them to their face that this is not going to fly, this is not who I am. … If this job entails me bending over, it’s not going to work for me.”

And he spoke about the difficulty for men to come forward because it’s emasculating:

“I didn’t see many men use the hashtag #MeToo. And the reason is because it’s a stigma, it’s a shame, you lose your manhood. When a young man is affected by being raped, or sexually harassed, or touched … you will never hear [about it] — but those people exist.”

Marini finished up by saying that Harvey Weinstein should have gone to jail rather than a week-long stint in a sex rehab facility.

George Papadopoulos is a former member of the foreign policy advisory panel to _____'s 2016 presidential campaign and has plead guilty to lying to the FBI and now _____ and his cadre of liars and traitors are trying to downplay his role as that of a volunteer and a, wait for it, it’s rich, “coffee boy.”

Yes, the coffee boy who arranged meetings with Russia and had contact with The Keebler Elf, Jeff Sessions, and who allegedly wore a wire to work ....

This is getting juicy.

Senator Rand Paul says that even though _____ is out raising millions for a 2020 campaign, no one should assume he's running. And Paul isn’t the first to suggest that _____ will be a One-No-Hit-Wonder; _____ BFF, and fellow Fast Bastard, Chris Christie said:

"If he runs again I would support him, yes, but I'm not so sure what will happen."

And we all know _____ hates to be a loser, even though he’s The Biggest Loser, so the idea of him leaving office after one term is not so far-fetched.

Now, onto _____’s Little Bitch, Junior ... he went on a so-called “peasant hunt” with racist alt-right asshat, Steve King.

Now, clearly, it was meant to be a pheasant hunt, but Steve King is stupid and can’t spell.

I’m’a just put this out there, because you know who you are ... if you’re unloading your grocery cart on that moveable belt at the checkout stand and someone comes in line behind you, put that plastic bar at the  end of your stuff as a courtesy to people.

I don’t wanna cause a riot in a grocery store ... again.

The One Million Moms—which is more like 40,000 moms—is enraged over the Disney Channel’s groundbreaking introduction of a gay character into its series Andi Mack:

“What is wrong with having family-friendly content that is acceptable for all ages or even leaving a couple of networks solely for children’s entertainment? ... As one of only a few channels catering to children, it cannot possibly be that Disney Channel has a financial need for more adult viewers [but] by choosing to abandon family-friendly entertainment, Disney’s inexplicable choice to move toward more “adult” fare may ultimately prove to be a huge mistake.”

And Disney isn’t budging on this because Disney knows that gay people exist in every single family out there ...

Like this one ... Amber Cantorna, the daughter of an executive at Focus on the Family, a rabidly anti-LGBT Hate Group, has come out as gay in her memoir, Refocusing My Family: Coming Out, Being Cast Out, and Discovering the True Love of God, and stating:

“My Focus on the Family upbringing had taught me that the LGBTQ community were basically the archenemy of Christianity and were responsible for destroying the family unit ... My family and I were always close. We did everything together… So this pressure, feeling like I had to filter everything I did and said to ultimately make them comfortable, was exhausting. I got to the point where I felt like, no matter the cost, I had to be authentic with myself.”

After coming out in 2012 Cantorna was instantly rejected by her family, her church, and many of her old friends.

Focus on Family? Not so much. Welcome out, Amber, you’re better off with the family you make than with the family you were born into.

As we watched television one night, Carlos said this to a character on the show:

Lucy! You have to do some ‘splaining.

Yes, he’s Ricky Ricardo trying to mimic Ricky Ricardo, so I said:

The line is: Lucy! You have some ‘splaining to do.

He said:

In other Good gay News ... last week the City of Ferndale, Michigan, became one of the first government municipalities in the country to officially and permanently install the LGBT Pride flag in City Council chambers. The historic move, led by Mayor Dave Coulter and the City Council, was meant to send a strong message about Ferndale’s inclusiveness:

“Our motto in Ferndale is ‘Good Neighbors,’ and we interpret that to include the diversity of our residents and guests and the benefits of inclusive decision-making. My fellow Council members and I strive to act in ways reflective of Ferndale’s shared values.”  

Small-town America gets it, so why can’t the rest of the country?

Last weekend we went to an Arts and Crafts Fair here in Smallville where we saw some very interesting things and a lot of crap.

But this one booth had some cool signs for Christmas, mostly because not one of the signs was actually mentioning Christmas.

They said things like Have A Holly Jolly! And Tis The Season! And Merry Merry! I thought I might like one of two for Casa Bob y Carlos and then I found the perfect one ...

It hangs in our kitchen and suits us to a ‘T’.

Okay, so I’ve mentioned that I find Ben Daniels, left, of TV’s The Exorcist kinda sexy in a creepy devil kind of way, and because I’ve seen him, um, nekkid, and it’s real and it’s spectacular. But this week on the show he met up with Fish and Game Warden, played by actor Christopher Cousins, right, and there was some sexual chemistry. Both Carlos and I looked at each and said:

“Are they coming on to one another?”

We’ll have to wait and see I guess, but the heat between the two—and Daniels is openly gay while Cousins is probably not—is palpable.

Also burning things up is fitness model Eric Turner, a silver fox built like a ... well, he’s built.

Just sayin.
