Bobservations

The other day I was getting ready to take a shower and Carlos came into the bathroom asking if there was someone at the front door. Now, before you think our front door opens into the bathroom, it does not, and I explained that to Carlos. But he said the cats had scattered as they sometimes do when someone rings the bell.

Did someone ring the bell?”

“No.”

“But you think that I know, here in the bathroom, at the back of the house,  if there’s someone at the door?”

I followed him to the front door and he’s looking through the glass to see if he spots anyone. I’m behind him, and it’s me who spots … something.

We have a wreath on the door and as I glanced beyond it, I saw a snake slithering up the glass and inside the wreath. I said to Carlos:

“Maybe that snake rang to bell.”

Howler monkey scream!!!!!

Once I peeled him off the ceiling, I told him I’d take the wreath off the door and put it away so that these snakes don’t think it’s food and climb the door. And he put the kibosh on that because the snake will kill me because snakes slither so fast and you can’t get away and it’ll come in the house and … and … and ….

I had to sedate him; with a frying pan to the melon.

What? Y’all know Tuxedo has the Common Sense. It’s a shame the two-legged inhabitants of the planet don’t always follow his lead.

Seen along the roads in Florida:

“Matt Gaetz Wants to ‘Date’ Your Child.”

Claude Taylor, Mad Dog PAC founder, funded the billboard and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving asshat.

For the past couple of weeks Aaron Rodgers has been the guest host of Jeopardy. At times he seems a bit tentative, but he sure is easy on the eyes.

Texas GQP Party chairman Allen West says Texas could secede from the United States and become an independent country:

“This is something that was written into the Texas Constitution.”

West is mistaking the state constitution for a congressional document which allows Texas to divide itself into five different states. But let’s say Texas does secede, as asshat politicians like to threaten. No more Ted Cruz. No more Louie Gohmert … Greg Abbott. The next time a bad hurricane comes through, or the power goes out, they’re on their own.

Secede away!

In an Economist/YouGov Poll released this week, respondents were asked if they believed Derek Chauvin should be found guilty of murder.

Among all respondents, 57% said “Yes,” with 25% saying they were “Not sure,: and 18% saying “No.” But among Republicans, only 31% said Chauvin should be found guilty, and 36% said he should not.

Now, again, I am not saying that all Republicans are racist, but this makes it look like all racists are Republicans.

PS Look closely at the above picture in case you didn't see it the first time.

Kentucky Governor, and Democrat, because, of course, Andy Beshear signed into law an election reform bill making it easier for Kentuckians to vote early, bucking the GQP trend of more restrictive election laws spurred on by The Big Lie:

New in Kentucky will be voting supercenters—where a voter from any precinct in the county can vote—and the online absentee ballot request portal will become permanent, as will absentee ballot drop boxes and three days of early in-person voting for all registered voters.

It’s nice to see some states in the country making voting easier.

SIDENOTE: Andy’s kinda cute, no?

I don’t particularly care for Will Smith, but I like this.

Smith and director Antoine Fuqua are pulling their upcoming film production “Emancipation” out of Georgia because of the state’s new voting law, AKA Jim Crow 2.0.

Now, Marvel and Netflix? Are you gonna pump money into a state that tried to suppress the vote or are you gonna step up?

In November 2020, two years after Taylor Swift’s contract with Big Machine Records expired, so did her re-record clause.

And so Swift is now going to re-record every song from the six albums she released while at Big Machine meaning that those of you who bought them the first time can now buy the re-recorded versions and Swift can fill her change purse with more coins.

Ted Nugent, MAGAt rocker with no active brain cells, asked a question about the COVID-19 pandemic that possibly nobody else had considered … except Cryptkeeper Kellyanne Conway:

“Why weren’t we shut down for COVID one through 18?”

Um, Ted, perhaps the years of drug use and lack of education have left you unable comprehend that the ‘19’ in COVID-19 designates the year in which the first infection was reported.

2019, dumbass.

This week’s Hottie is not an actor or a model, but a writer, activist, and perhaps a candidate for governor of Maryland, Westley "Wes" Watende Omari Moore.

That smile. Those eyes. That voice. That passion. That drive. Wes Moore? Yes, more.

I Didn't Say It ...

Pete Buttigieg, first gay man to win a state in a presidential primary, on being named President-elect Joe Biden's transportation secretary nominee—Buttigieg said he remembered watching as James Hormel was attacked and denied a vote in the Senate to serve as President Bill Clinton's ambassador to Luxembourg because he was gay:

"At the time, I had no aspirations of being appointed by a president to anything. At that age, I was hoping to be an airline pilot, and I was a long way from coming out even to myself. But still, I watched that story and I learned something about some of the limits that exist in this country when it comes to who was allowed to belong. Two decades later, I can't help but think of a 17-year-old somewhere who might be watching us right now, somebody who wonders whether and where they belong in the world, or even in their own family. And I'm thinking about the message that today's announcement is sending to them."

It’s sending them hope.

And, if confirmed by the US Senate, Buttigieg would be the first out LGBTQ Cabinet secretary approved by the chamber. Buttigieg is also the youngest member named so far in Biden's Cabinet, and the only one of Biden's former Democratic presidential opponents to be named as a Cabinet secretary nominee.

Mitt Romney, on _____’s refusal to accept that he is  an impeached, lame-duck, one-term loser, and his MAGAts:

“The biggest concern that I have is that people here genuinely believe that somehow this election was stolen, and there’s not evidence of that. The president was saying it was stolen even before election day happened! He said if he loses it would be fraud. Well, no one knows that! I thought I was going to win too when I ran for president in 2012. I didn’t. I didn’t go out and say fraud. We have a process. We count the votes. That’s the way it is.”

But _____ is a sociopath, and a narcissist, and a child, and an Adderall addicted rapist racist adulterer con man grifter traitor.

And his minions love that.

photo

Allen West, Texas Republican Party chair and lunatic, on that SCOTUS rejection of a baseless lawsuit brought by Attorney General Ken Paxton in an attempt to overturn the results of the U.S. election in favor of _____:

“The Supreme Court, in tossing the Texas lawsuit that was joined by seventeen states and 106 US congressman, has decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law. Resulting in damaging effects on other states that abide by the law, while the guilty state suffers no consequences. This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable. This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic. Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution. The Texas GOP will always stand for the Constitution and for the rule of law even while others don’t.”

Actually, dumbass, the Supremes said the lawsuit had no merit because you’re just a bunch of pissy bitches with crap-filled diapers who need to grow a pair.

And shut up.

photo

Chris Christie, former New Jersey Governor and perhaps former _____ friend and ally, on the GOP backing _____’s insanity:

“Well, listen, the legal theory put forward by his legal team and by the president is an absurdity. And the reason why the Supreme Court didn’t take it is because it’s an absurd idea to think that any state, or any number of states, no matter how good they are, can challenge another state’s right to run the election as they see fit. And also there’s no evidence.”

But then, ReTHUGlicans don’t understand the law and are so afraid of a mean Tweet from an Impeached, One-Term, Lame-Duck con artist and grifter, that they sold their souls to an orange devil.

And speaking of …

photo

Mo Brooks, the Mo is clearly short for Mo-ron, Alabama’s GOP Congressman, proving himself a traitor to Democracy, the Constitution of this country, and out electoral process …as long as doesn’t favor a ReTHUGlican:

“So, I have a choice, I can either sit back and surrender and be a part of the surrender caucus, or I can fight for our country. And that’s what I’m going to do. So, on January 6, I’m going to object to the submissions of Electoral College votes from various states that, in my judgment, have such flawed election systems that their vote counts are unworthy of our ratification in the United States Congress. What I need is a United States Senator who will join me. If we have a House member and a senator, then by golly, that forces a House vote and a floor vote on whether to accept this systematically flawed election system or to reject it. I want to reject it so that we can have an honest and fair and accurate election.”

First, you dumbass, prove the election was unfair. I mean, just because the man whose ass your lips are puckered to, claims fraud, doesn’t prove fraud.

Fucking traitor.

photo

Jen O’Malley Dillon, Biden’s incoming deputy chief of staff and former campaign manager, calling the GOP … well, let her say it:

“The president-elect was able to connect with people over this sense of unity. In the primary, people would mock him, like, ‘You think you can work with Republicans?’ I’m not saying they’re not a bunch of f—ers. Mitch McConnell is terrible. But this sense that you couldn’t wish for that, you couldn’t wish for this bipartisan ideal? He rejected that. From start to finish, he set out with this idea that unity was possible, that together we are stronger, that we, as a country, need healing, and our politics needs that too.”

Marco Rubio, GOP goose-stepping, foam party asshat, with his panties in a snit over O’Malley:

“Biden talks about unity and healing, but you want to know what they really think? Read how the person he wants as the next WH deputy chief of staff called Republicans in Congress a bunch of f—ers.”

Nicolle Wallace, from MSNBC, calling out Little Marco’s hypocrisy, and pointing out that he is a f—er:

“Are we really talking about the f word in any context other than the f—ing people who stood by _____ as he boasted about ‘grabbing women in the pussy’, smeared ‘shit hole countries’ called black NFL players ‘sons of bitches’ and assaulted our democracy while ignoring COVID-19?”

I think it’s clear … the GOP, for the most part, almost the whole part, are f—ers.

I Didn't Say It ...

Pat Robertson, telling a listener to his show how to respond to her daughter who recently came out:

“You want to be loving and warm and let them know that you love them, BUT you cannot accept it and you cannot be an enabler. If they’re living together as a homosexual and you’re a Christian you cannot say I accept this lifestyle. Right now there’s an incredible barrage of activity forcing people to accept the homosexual lifestyle. Well, do we accept adultery? Do we accept fornication? Do we accept immorality?  Well, the answer is no. I don’t think we ought to be accepting of it.”

Christian love. Ain’t it grand?
Miley Cyrus, bashing the former ‘love of her life,’ Lima hems worth, while in concert:

And every time you get in your car, you’re going to hear my fucking song on the fucking radio, you piece of shit. That’s right. And then I’m gonna take all my clothes off, I’m gonna sit on a big, giant dick – sometimes two – I’m gonna swing around ... — you know, you can tell a lot about a person — I think you can tell how big their dick is by how much confidence they have usually, and if I was a dude I’d probably have a really big dick, ‘cause I feel really good about myself now. So I’m gonna tell those motherfuckers that broke my heart, particularly one, to suck my fat dick and to enjoy hearing this song for the rest of your life. This song is called Wrecking Ball.”

Someone is really harboring a grudge, meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth was heard saying, “Miley who?”
Allen West, wingnut Teabagger, and former one-term Congressman, in a blog posting that many say is his acknowledgement that he is considering a run for president:

"A diamond is but a rock until it undergoes intense pressure and heat. Steel is purified by intense heat. We cannot seek to live a life where our goal is to go from one oasis to another. Sometimes we have to cross a desert in order to develop inner strength. Many are asking me to consider a huge undertaking. If God had not placed a challenge before me and closed one door, perhaps a new mission would not be possible."

Seriously? have a better shot at being elected President.
Michele Bachmann, speaking out against the National Women's History Museum to be built on the National Mall:

“I believe ultimately that this museum, which will be built on the National Mall, on federal land, will enshrine the radical feminist movement that stands against the pro-life movement, the pro-family movement, and the pro-traditional marriage movement.”

So, it’s basically because of The Gays, I guess, that she’s anti-women, which is funny, because that’s the same reason her husband is anti-women, too.
Jason Benham, whose HGTV was cancelled before it started based on their anti-gay “religious” beliefs, taking on Michael Sam:

“Michael Sam is a talented football player and for that, he should be playing in the NFL. But his sexual expressions and the propagation of them are not healthy for him as a young man. Both heterosexual and homosexual expressions outside the context of traditional, historic marriage between a man and a woman are not healthy for us as individuals or for us as a nation…”

Funny, though, he says anyone who acts outside of traditional marriage, either heterosexually, or homosexually, is wrong, and yet he hasn’t taken on one professional athlete who has wives and girlfriends and all kinds of children running around.
It’s just the openly gay one.
Stephen Colbert, on the Michael-Vito kiss:

"Folks this is just wrong. In the NFL sexuality is supposed to take place OFF CAMERA. And the fans should only find out about it when the charges are filed."

True that. A loving kiss between a couple as they hear good news is bad, but let’s turn down the set when our players are charged with rape, or worse. And let’s keep that on the down low.
Chuck Todd, MSNBC political commentator, on the Michael-Vito kiss:

“That could be the most significant cultural moment in hindsight. We may look back on that moment being sort of THE big moment when same-sex marriage and same-sex relationships as far as pop culture was concerned went mainstream. … That was as significant as a state legalizing, as being the first state to legalize same-sex marriage.”

The kiss felt ‘round the world … or at least in Homophobiastan.
Newt Gingrich, on ex-NFL player Derrick Ward’s Twitter meltdown over the Michael-Vito kiss:

“You guys talk about how you want to be inclusive, except of course if somebody tweets this, then [there are] death threat or let's send them off to sensitivity training. I mean it strikes me as repression, that’s not inclusive…shouldn’t you also be teaching people who are gay to be open and understanding [of anti-gay views]?”

Newt the Serial Adulterer talking about sensitivity is laughable. He doesn’t seem to see that if the religious right bashes any kind of gay interaction, a kiss or a coming out, that’s okay, but when we bash back, we’re insensitive.
Michael Sam, on a young man who came out of the closet to his father after Sam was drafted:

"I'm honored that I helped someone to be comfortable with who we are - gave them a little courage to speak to his father. But right now I'm just looking forward to continue on my dream. And if it inspires other people. Hey, I'm with you. And anyone that's not okay with that, like I said earlier, if someone disowns you, be part of my family. I'll welcome you. Ram up!"

Sometimes it isn’t the family you were born into, it’s the family that accepts you.

Have A Coke ... Tener Un Coca Cola ... يكون للفحم الكوك ... 有一个可乐 ... Есть кокс ... Haben eine Coke ...

I sometimes think I’m the odd man out; not just for being gay, though there are some who think that makes me odd; not for being a snarky queen, though others disagree. I think I’m the odd man out because when I see someone who looks different than me — me, being a middle-aged … gosh that hurts … white man — I like what I see. If I pass a person on the street who is a different color than I am, I find it interesting; when someone speaks another language than the English I speak, I find it appealing; if someone dresses differently than the so-called norm, I find them charming.

Which was why I loved the Coke ad that played during the Superbowl; that one-minute commercial that featured children and adults, gay and straight, from all walks of life, from all across America, singing "America the Beautiful" in multiple languages. I loved the different ethnicities and genders and orientations and families and languages in the ad because it made me remember that, despite the fact we are all so different, we are all Americans, and I think that’s cool. I like living in a country where we don’t all look and act and think and speak and dress and love the same; I live for different.

And so I am the odd man out because that little Coke ad up there at the top seems to have really pissed some people off; it sent a great many into hysterical reactions, racist comments, and just plain idiotic responses.

At first people jumped on the idea of the two gay dads in the ad — and it was a kind of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it segment — because, I guess, in their America, two gay dads don’t exist. News flash: they do. Still, I expected a little outrage over those dads because we rarely see gay couples featured in mainstream ads on mainstream shows, much less the most watched Superbowl in history-ry-ry-ry-ry-ry. Echoing is mine.

Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart.com was not happy to see gay dads roller-skating, with children, and Coke:
"When the company used such an iconic song, one often sung in churches on the 4th of July that represents the old 'E Pluribus Unum' view of how American society is integrated, to push multiculturalism down our throats, it's no wonder conservatives were outraged."
Wait’ “America The Beautiful” is sung mostly in churches on 4th of July? So, that means no gays? How Leahy can talk about integrated society in the same breath as having multiculturalism shoved down his throat is the height of GOP and conservative pundit lunacy. See, try as we might, America is not yet fully integrated? Not for all of us, sir; many of us are still considered less than in this country. I know, because I’m one of them.

But then I heard people were going nuts because “America The Beautiful” was being sung in languages other than English even though we are not a solely English-speaking country no matter what anyone thinks. We don’t have an “official” language in this country, so stop thinking and acting as if we do.

Former GOP Congressman, and deluded asshat, Allen West was especially unnerved by having to hear a non-English commercial, and wrote on his blog:
"If we cannot be proud enough as a country to sing "American the Beautiful" in English in a commercial during the Super Bowl, by a company as American as they come -- doggone we are on the road to perdition."
But Allen, it was an American ad sung by American for an American company and aired during an American sports tradition, but if you want to hear the song sung in America’s “native” language then might I suggest that you pick a Native American group to sing it because everyone else in this country is an immigrant who brought their own language here.

And that’s what’s good about this country; that America welcomes everyone and respects their differences; we are, as that old saying goes, a melting pot of multiculturalism and we are every language and creed and religion and gender and orientation and for Coke to feature that in an ad makes me wanna shout, I’ll have a Coke please. But, while West’s condemnation of the ad was somewhat tame — if also somewhat stupid — conservative columnist and Fox News Radio host Todd Starnes could not contain his rage or his Twitter fingers:

This is the typical right-wingnut, conservative zealot GOP response: America, love it, and speak English, or leave it. Starnes only speaks English so then English should be the only language he hears. How American is that? How welcoming is that? How delusional is that?

And then we have Glenn Beck, who recently began speaking a little more intelligently about the LGBT community, especially in light of the Russian anti-gay laws, but now he’s reverted back to form:
“So somebody tweeted last night and said, ‘Glenn, what did you think of the Coke ad?’ And I said, ‘Why did you need that to divide us politically?’ Because that’s all this ad is. It’s in your face, and if you don’t like it, if you’re offended by it, you’re a racist. If you do like it, you’re for immigration. You’re for progress. That’s all this is: To divide people. Remember when Coke used to do the thing on the top and they would all hold hands? Now it’s, have a Coke and we’ll divide you.”
It’s funny, and sad, to me, that Beck thinks this ad is divisive because I think when you include everyone, all nationalities and genders and orientations who live in this country and call America home, you’re being inclusive, but then Beck probably only wants to include the white right people.

As I’ve said, we are a country made up of many different peoples; we don’t all look alike, think alike, speak alike, love alike, worship alike, but if we can’t agree on one simple fact … that we are all Americans … then we’re sunk. Why can’t we celebrate the differences? Why can’t people who speak Spanish be American? Why can’t two men raise a family together as a loving couple? Why can’t we wear certain clothes, and preach certain things, and sing in our native tongue?

I say embrace the differences; learn something new. Or sit back in your easy chair and grow more and more angry.

Oh yeah, and let’s not forget that Katharine Lee Bates, who wrote “America The Beautiful”, was a Lesbian.

Snap.

I Didn't Say It ....

Frank Mugisha, Ugandan activist, on the proposed Kill The Gays Bill:
"If the law is passed the way it is right now, I would go to jail, and I would be killed. The bill says anyone who commits the offense [and speaks out] against this legislation more than once is a serial offender. And the fact that I’ve already said in Uganda that I’m gay, and that I’m an advocate for LGBT rights, that means I’m promoting homosexuality in Uganda, according to this bill. This legislation, if passed into law, it would automatically make me a serial offender and I would be sentenced to death."

This is the world today?
A world where a person can be killed simply because they’re gay?
Anyone who doesn’t take a stand against Uganda—and any other place around the world with this same view—needs to rethink their humanity.

Barney Frank, saying liberals need to "empower" themselves and stay out of government-bashing:
"I have a couple books in mind: one is what I think liberals should be doing. The fundamental point is going to be that we need to empower ourselves to do more with government than we’ve been doing, both as an end in itself and then there’s a viscous cycle. People don’t like government, so they deny government the resources, we deny ourselves—which is what government is, ourselves acting collectively—we deny ourselves the resources to be effective and then because we don’t do things right, people get angrier so they deny more resources. The way to break that cycle, in my judgement, is with substantial reduction in America’s worldwide military commitments. I want us to do a better job of using our collective resources through government to improve the quality of life....I think the mistake many liberals make is in the current situation where government is unpopular, to join in the critique of government but then advocate specific expansions of government authority."

Isn’t it odd that we have no qualms about spending billions on war and warfare and the machinery of war, but we question spending money on education and health care?
Will we ever learn?

Sally Field, on her gay son, Sam and parents of LGBT people:
"It's important to have a parent speak about raising a magnificent, proud, intelligent, funny, lovable, sexy gay son. And there are so many parents who are frightened of that and who don't embrace their children as they struggle. Those children are struggling to embrace who they are, what nature intended them to be."

If we, as gay people, cannot find acceptance within our own families, how can we expect anyone else to accept us?

Allen West, wingnut and loser, comparing himself to Lincoln....Abraham Lincoln:
"Look, you know, God closes a door so that he can open up greater doors. I will continue to, you know, stand up and fight for this country. That’s my goal. I have two daughters, 19 and 16, and I want to make sure that they grow up in a great America that provides them all the opportunities that it provided to their mother and father. And always remember, Abraham Lincoln only served one term in Congress, too."

To paraphrase: Oh, Mister West, I knew Abraham Lincoln, and you, sir, are no Abraham Lincoln.
You’re just a loser still whining about losing.

Tony Perkins, on West point's Cadet Chapel hosting a lesbian wedding:
"Army officials are experts at following orders--except when it comes to federal marriage law. For the second time in two weeks, the brass at West Point opened its gates to lesbian 'wedding' ceremonies in direct defiance of the Defense of Marriage Act. Adding insult to the law's injury, Saturday's service was held in the Cadet Chapel, a 176-year-old house of worship that has been the heartbeat of the Academy's Christian community for almost two centuries. Brenda Fulton, one of the 'brides,' said the Chapel was a particularly meaningful site, because it's where she first heard the Cadet Prayer: 'Make us to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong' -- words that, in the end, even West Point failed to live up to. Fulton and her same-sex partner marched down the aisle knowing full well they were leading the military's own processional away from the rule of law."

Marriage equality is legal in New York.
DADT is over.
Build a bridge, Tony. Seriously, build a bridge and maybe you’ll be so busy with that you won’t have time to spew your idiocies.

Elaine Donnelly, drinking Tony Perkin's Kool-Aid:
"Even though Congress made it very clear and it's in the legislation that they intended the Defense of Marriage Act to be respected and honored on military bases, several times now the administration has allowed various branches of the service to disregard that. This is the most blatant example. I think West Point is going to disappoint many of its alumnus community. And I think that some people may start to question, what is the purpose of the military service academies."

Elaine, honey? You look like a Lily Tomlin character only you aren’t funny.
You’re irrelevant.

Cory Booker, Newark, New Jersey Mayor, on living on Food Stamps:
"This morning, I will begin living on a food budget of $30 a week / $4.32 per day.  This is the financial equivalent of the budget provided to people participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, in the State of New Jersey.  I will live only on a SNAP equivalent food budget for the next seven days....As I begin this journey, I am doubling down on my commitment to the Food Justice Movement that is gaining awareness and participation in this country.  We have much work to do at the local level to address a legacy of structural inequities in the American food system.  As more and more working people and families - many holding down more than one job - face greater and greater challenges to juggle housing, medical, and transportation costs, meeting nutritional needs becomes a serious problem and a social justice issue."

I think it’s cool he’s doing this. He’s walking a mile in the shoes of people with whom he might not ordinarily have anything in common.
I wish more politicians would be like that.

Adam Levine, on here Comes Honey Boo Boo:
"Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn't mean it's good. So many people witness atrocities and can't take their eyes away from them, but that doesn't mean they're good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That's. Ever. Happened. It's complete f**king ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F**k those people. You can put that in the magazine: F**k those idiots. They're just the worst. Sorry, I'm so sensitive to that—like, I don't know, man, it's upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, "F**K THOSE PEOPLE."

Okay, so I’ve never seen Honey Boo Boo and have no intention of ever seeing it, but, um, Adam? If you don’t like it, don’t watch. But, by speaking about the show in a national interview, you’re giving it publicity.
Plus, after you said your preferred method of birth control was “The Pull Out” I began to doubt any of your opinions.

Bill O'Reilly, on how same-sex marriage as an example of Christian traditions being taken away:
"If you guys don't start stepping up soon and more forcefully, you're going to lose your Christian traditions in this country. Let me give you one more example. Gay marriage. I got nothing against gay marriage. Not my issue. I want homosexual Americans to be happy and to pursue happiness. So I'm not going to be an anti-gay marriage warrior. But if you believe, and the other Christian religions, and there's a lot of em. That gay marriage is wrong and harmful, then you gotta get up there and make just as strong an argument, and you haven't. And that's why public opinion is turning against - in favor of gay marriage. You're losing these wars, father."

Bill is such a moron.
He has no problem with The Gays getting married, but he’s offering advice on how others can work against it.
Sounds like typical O’Reilly double-speak.
