‘Time Forgot’, 40 Thieves debut album, was recorded live, one weekend in April ’17 under the guidance of Melbourne based engineer / producer Robert B. Dillon (recording credits: DreamBoogie, Lloyd Spiegel, Geoff Achison), in the beautiful foothills of the Macedon Ranges in Victoria.
Included in this album are slow, soulful blues tunes like ‘Somebody Help Me’ and ‘Forgive Me’, then taking the listener through the backstreets of New Orleans with ‘Bayou Man’, driving through the badlands of Texas with ‘Trapped’ and hip shaking in the juke joints down south with overdriven guitar songs like ‘Low Down Boogie’, ‘A Big Stand’ and title track, ‘Time Forgot’. The journey concludes with the scar blues tune ‘Ordinary Fool
