We have added Tre' to our ranks as the new young bluesman to be reckoned with. Tre' is a new and very exciting performer who can compete with the best of the best like Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton. I know you'll think that last statement is a bit strong, but we think it will soon become apparent that Tre' deserves all the accolades and honorable mentions that come with a career that has spanned over three decades.

Delivered for Glory: Reclaiming the Blues is a promising debut from Tre, the son of L.V. Banks. There are some Banks influences on the record, particularly in his guitar phrasing, but the record remains grounded in Chicago blues, with the occasional uptown flourish that distinguishes it from the pack of modern electric blues. He needs to grow as a songwriter, but he shows enough potential as a vocalist and guitarist to have Delivered for Glory be a strong debut. ~Review by Thom Owens
