Somos un grupo de amigos de diversos sitios.No 2010, un golpe de sorte fixo posible xuntármonos todos os mércores no bar "Bloody Mary", para facermos jams ao longo do ano.Doce meses despois, decidimos formalizar o grupo un pouquiño máis. Comezamos polo nome. A idea foi de Trilli e o porqué da escolla penso que non é necesario explicalo.

No 2011 o noso punto de encontro para os concertos semanais foi o bar Miudo, e foi alí onde realmente nos formamos como banda. A todos nos une amizade e a paixón pola música. Pola música en xeral e, polos clásicos, en particular. O noso repertorio esta formado por versións de clásicos do blues, soul, country, rock & roll ... ao que pouco a pouco estamos incorporando temas propios que se moven xeralmente nese abano de estilos.

Country, blues, boogie, soul and even a topic that approaches the rockabilly is what we find in Homegrown, the new album from The Galicians Lákazans. The band released this job on March 13 in Room Sonar Santiago in a concert that promises to be "very energetic" and "fun."

One of its members, Benja, who acknowledges having nerves but also "eager" to present to the world is 'homegrown'; named to be composed mostly by his subjects. Thus, of the nine songs that brings the album, seven are creations of The Lákazans and other two are versions of two classics: 'Dancing in the Street "by Martha and the Vandellas and' Hound Dog 'Willie Mae' Big Mama 'Thornton, but that would make famous Elvis Presley. "We wanted to include them because we turn a lot with respect to the original, we take them to our ground and try to defend the tools we have. The Lákazans was created in 2012 after meeting a group of friends (Trillo, Benja, Almudena, Sabela, figs, and Fran Velo Likal) crazy by blues and country. Its formation is a somewhat peculiar harmonica, percussion includes darbuka, spoons and washboard, plus drums, bass, guitar (acoustic / electric / slide) and two great female voices.
