Eldon Brown grew up in Sacramento, California, playing blues, rock-n-roll, country and gospel with such artists as Sandy Rodgers and Houston Hawkins. The Eldon Brown Band plays original blues-oriented music that is a mixture of these influences, with boogie woogie, swing, jazz and New Orleans as well. The band plays throughout Northern California and been a regular fixture at Lou's Pier 47 in San Francisco for a number of years, performing for people from all corners of the world. Eldon is also a member of The Mill Valley Music All Star Band.

Other band members include drummer Tom Williard, Roger Guyett on saxophones, Mike Garty on lead guitar and Tom Pagano on trumpet. Rick Higgs often joins the band on guitar for live performances.

Eldon Brown serves up an original alchemy of jump blues, boogie-woogie, swing, rockabilly, funk/New Orleans with some roots blues thrown in for good measure. Most of our material is original, written by Mr. Eldon Brown himself in an accessible and upbeat style that draws heavily from Eldon's experiences growing up on the streets of Sacramento and his calling as a hospice nurse.
