'A Force of Nature' is the debut album from one of the most exciting Blues-Rock singers on today's scene, Sari Schorr. The album is produced by the legendary Mike Vernon, whose credits include Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall & the Blues Breakers, David Bowie, Savoy Brown, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Christine McVie and Ten Years After.

Already a consummate songwriter in her own right, with tracks on major labels, Sari has written or co-written almost all the songs on her debut album, which features legendary guitarists Walter Trout (John Mayall, Canned Heat) & Innes Sibun (Robert Plant), Oli Brown (RavenEye) and keyboardist John Baggott (Massive Attack, Portishead). The album delivers hard-driving Blues-Rock, influenced by the late 60's British Blues movement. Sari (who trained as an opera singer) mixes Blues, Rock, and Soul with concrete melodies and poetic lyrics to striking effect.

New York-based Sari has appeared on the Conan O'Brian Show, and has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. She has received critical acclaim for her blustery vocals and emotionally-charged performances, and is described by many blues pundits as a modern-day hybrid of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner - a red-hot blues mama who radiates emotional intensity, connects with and inspires her audiences, and leaves a lasting impression that's larger than life. /Amazon

10. Fly Too Near To The Sun (4:04)
11. Twice As Strong (3:39)
12. Goin' Home (3:46)

FORMER ROBERT PLANT GUITARIST EXCELS ON FULL-THROTTLE RETURN. Innes Siburn is the best sort of musician: overflowing with ideas and energy, sure, but drawing on a deep wellspring of feeling that's undeniable and immediately infectious. In the opening three songs here he negotiates several stylistic genres with ease. It's the same generosity of spirit uniting the sucker punch show-stopper 'You Can't Miss What You Never Have', the title track's paint-stripping splendour and the tender acoustic picking of 'Where Are You?'. Otis Rush is duly summoned on a wall-shaking recreation of 'Double Trouble', but elsewhere it's the late Rory Gallagher that Siburn most readily calls to mind. The invention and personality of his songwriting is clear, too, capable of producing intriguing curveballs (When love Breaks Down) and moments of self-revelation (Fly Too Near The Sun). Another release worth seeking out, from a thumping home grown talent. --Classic Rock

Innes Sibun plays high-energy Blues played with intense passion, and he s done so from the tender age of 12 after hearing the B.B. King s infamous Live At The Regal album, a record he d borrowed from a local record store. For years he honed his natural talent by playing Blues, as well as Rock, in numerous bands across the UK, meanwhile also fine-tuning his song writing. Since then Sibun's highenergy zeal, blistering, straightforward guitar artistry and raggedly sincere vocals at times recall the great Rory Gallagher. In recent years Sibun's been building momentum with a highly aggressive solo act that, of late, further fuels comparisons to Gallagher through his ability to shred his way through meat n potatoes Blues while playing his instrument with exacting tone and impassioned fervour. By 1993 Innes was playing guitar for Robert Plant on the latter's Fate Of Nations tour throughout America, Europe & South America and Innes can be heard on Plant's Sixty Six To Timbuktu & and Nine Lives albums. In his own right he has recorded over half a dozen albums for various Blues labels. Throughout his career he s opened for Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Ronnie Earl, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Taj Mahal, Chris Farlowe, Walter Trout and many more, and, while in Chicago, played with some of his Blues heroes like Buddy Guy & James Cotton. He also jammed at Antones Blues club in Austin Texas with the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan s rhythm section: Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton, a.k.a. Double Trouble, as well as with Chris Duarte & other Austin Blues-luminaries.
