By the late 1970’s after much encouragement from his parents, Guy packed his guitar out of his bedroom, grew out his sideburns and took off for the bright lights of the tool shed where his music would be less aggravating to the rest of the household.
After trying several different local blues and rock cover bands to varying degrees of obscurity, Guy migrated back to his acoustic roots, and began to gather a solid local following as a solo performer. This is still the guitarists favorite way to bring his music to the people live, although the recordings are more fleshed out will full garage band thump. Current projects include CD #4, as yet to be titled, and putting a band together for Fall 2013, "Aunt Fannies Hat Box" which will be more focused on that good old timey roots rock sound.
Guy can be heard live at local pubs, wineries and summer hootinanies. Guy's recorded work has been featured in the TV shows “Trailer Fabulous” and MTV’s “Made” as well as some local Indie films.
