The band’s tagline “Blues… Rockin’ the Groove Frequency” tells the tale of what this band has to offer music fans!
It’s difficult to assign the band to a specific musical genre. Gideon’s Radio is, at the core, a Blues Band. However, the members are well versed in numerous musical styles which all come to play in their music! The band plays a lot of traditional blues, but also incorporates contemporary Blues, Rock, Motown, Country and whatever else feels good!
Take a little Chicago style blues, send it down to Texas and have it come back to La Crosse via the Mississippi River with a lay-over in Memphis and Detroit and you’ll get the idea! Gideon’s Radio also play’s a lot of Motown Hit’s, Classic Rock and even a Country song or two, but every song, no matter the genre, is distinctively stamped “GIDEON’S RADIO”.
