Glen Robertson --Keys/Accordion/Vocals:
Born in Chicago, Glen Robertson is a life-long musician that started out on piano at age 6, then accordion at age 10. In his late teens and early 20's, Glen got into the Blues and more recently, Zydeco. This Catfish main influences include Clifton Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, and Beau Jocque and the Zydeco High Rollers to name a few.
Butch Black --Bass/Vocals:
Butch is a long time member of the Boston/ New England blues community. He was a founding member of the popular blues band Boston Baked Blues and has played with a number of bands and artists including Rockin' George Leh, and Miss Shirley Lewis. His interest in the blues started with the blues rock of the 60s. John Mayall's Turning point album introduced him to the softer jazzier side of the blues. It was with Boston Baked Blues that he developed a love of swing/jump blues. Louis Jordan and B.B. King are still among his favorite artists and influences though he has eclectic taste in blues.
Chris Noyes --Guitar/Vocals:
Chris Noyes is a composer, sound designer, teacher and performing musician. His work as a composer and sound designer is primarily for theatrical productions, and he has also designed sound and composed music for film, television, radio and dance. Chris is a featured artist on Joe Perry's (Aerosmith) solo album "10 years," and has worked for many recording artists (The Cars, Al Dimeola, Mike Stern, etc.) to produce live and recorded music. Professor Noyes also teaches sound design and related technology-based production techniques at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Mark Shemet --Drums/Vocals:
Mark has spent a lot of time in New Orleans and has seen all the great Zydeco acts. Many forays to New Orleans for Hubigs Pies and Mango freeze , opened his eyes to the world of Professor Longhair, Earl king, Snooks Eaglin,The Wild Tchoupitoulas, and Clifton Chenier. He is a real Zydeco fan that loves to peform the music of New Orleans!
Darrell brown --Rubboard/Percussion:
Darrell brings a love of Zydeco to the Catfish. As a Percussion teacher, he also brings a lot of variety to the act! The show is always filled with fun and suprises from Darrell, and he welcomes all to join in the celebration of live Zydeco New Orleans music!!!
