Acie Cargill is a singer/ songwriter currently working in the blues field. Members of the Bubbly Creek Blues Band include Acie on string bass and vocals, Tom Gurney on lead guitar, and Paul Kaye on rhythm guitar. All are very adept at their skills. The last three songs include playing by the legendary Honeyboy Edwards in one of his last recording sessions before he died.

Bubbly Creek is the south fork of the south branch of the Chicago River. For 100 years the wastes and slaughter remains like blood and hair from the Union Stockyards were dumped in the river and it still bubbles to this day.
