The Barflys began in a lonely corner of old man Cuz's property at Rosewater. On a screaming cow pad, Queen Blowie after having a wild time with King Blowie, down at the Lambs Arse Tavern that night layed five moggots. Unknown to them they were destined for mega stardom. The five little dudes slid around Port Adelaide feeling the wrath of a down-trodden society. Dole queues oeds in gutters, goodwill oins, flagons in the park, cigarette outts, yeah these guys had it real bad. So bad, cow pads started looking good! One day while sitting around sucking the dregs from old man Cuz's home, king Blowie Junior said 'Hey brother Blowies, There's only one way to escape all this shit and get all the things we ever wanted - chics, booze, weed, coke and fish'n chips.
How do we do that? said an cager Boof. 'We got to boogie woogie' said king Blowie Junior. The brothers sprang into action, as if destiny took over and ripped off the nearest mysic store. Gathering all there wares, they buzzed off to old man Cuz's shed, where they practiced and experimented with rock, swing, jazz, blues and alcoholism. After months of dedicated endurance by the five little gents, they finally created the right formula for rock & roll and alcohol. So they blew the Cuz's sged, to take their rightful place in rock 'n' roll history!
