Armadillo Blues is a very nice little band from southern Sweden. It has been around since 2004, and in april 2011 they released their third album "Swamp Music", songs are available on most digital marketplaces. Their previous album, "Doing time", is avaliable at the very same sites as well. 2012 peaked with a tour in the UK, as well as lots of gigs in Sweden and Norway.
The music is influenced by old delta blues and Chicago blues as well as more modern music, regardless of genre. Since a couple of years ago the band has increased its efforts to write its own material, as can be heard on the three latest albums which mostly contains their own material. Armadillo Blues has performed at various venues in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and England. Currently, they are making plans for a return to England during summer 2014.
