Recorded live at the famous Mosebacke in Stockholm, Sweden, friends, family and fans of Jenny's crowded the room, but you could still sense the common sadness that this person who was loved so dearly was stricken with cancer. Then Jenny took to the stage and all that sadness melted away like dewdrops in the morning sun. The night of this concert that was recorded is a document and testament of Jenny's strength and tremendous talent. It was more than just a show, it was a victory in the face of tragedy and every soul in the house that night watched her in delight. Containing 8 tracks including live versions of her previously recorded songs "The Party is Over", "Waste" and "Coming Home".

For almost 20 years Jenny Bohman was a full time professional musician. Over the years she played with established and well respected bands like "Monaco Blues Band"and "Little Jenny & The Blue Beans". Jenny was a terrific vocalist and an extraordinary harmonica player, and during her last few years she's also worked hard on her songwriting and released her first solo album "Coming Home" in 2009. Jenny Bohman passed away in November 2010.

The Monaco Blues Band started in 1982 in the city of Västerås, Sweden. The name came from the Monaco night club where the band was formed after a request from the owner who needed a little more action on Sunday nights. This was in the time of jazzrock with John McLaughlin, Al DiMeola and other super exilibristic performers that the audiences by that time had gotten tired of. MBB began with strictly John Mayall and Paul Butterfield covers, with their versions of blues material and it was an absolute success. People got crazy, flipped out totally and danced on the tables when they heard MBB's boogie-jump-shuffle versions of those old songs.

It didn't last long till the first tours started, first in Scandinavia and then Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and USA. Germany became like a second home for the band, with 54 tours and many TV and radio performances. The list of artists that MBB have shared stage with is long: Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Duke Robillard, Champion Jack Dupree, Eddie Harris, Louisiana Red, Ten Years After.

Personnel: Björn Werngren (guitar, vocals); Jenny Bohman (harmonica, vocals); Benny From (bass, vocals); Björn Gideonsson (drums).

Little Jenny & The Blue Beans - 2 albums: Hot Spicy Dish/Live! Nefertiti Blues Show

Little Jenny & The Blue Beans were a sultry blues act from Sweden. The band was first formed in 1997 and since then their career saw them feature at many of the major European festivals including the Belgium R&B Fesitval, the Copenhagen Blues Festival (Denmark), Åmåls Blues Festival (Sweden) and the Lahti Blues Festival (Finland). They also regularly toured in France as well as Scandinavia and did also face a break through in the United Kingdom. Little Jenny herself was awarded with two of the top Swedish blues awards: the Jan Rosenqvist award in 1998 and the Åmal blues festival award in 2001. She was considered to be one of Sweden’s greatest blues harmonica players. Little Jenny had a fine blues pedigree having toured with the likes of Eric Bibb between 1990 and 1999. Other career highlights included her performing at the Mustique Blues Festival with the English blues diva Dana Gillespie. Alongside Little Jenny, all the band members have years of experience backing a large number of Sweden’s most famous artists and enjoy endorsement from some of Scandinavia’s top industry players.

So what could you expect from a Little Jenny & The Blue Beans gig? They played a suggestive bluesrock mix. Harmonica and guitar duels were common interspersed with refreshing drum solos when least expected. 90% of the songs are originals and their philosophy was that they were best experienced LIVE - the connection between the audience and the band being the most essential element in their playing. Little Jenny & The Blue Beans have released two cds: “Hot Spicy Dish” and “Live! Nefertiti Blues Show”
