Formed in the Los Angeles town of Whittier, CA, The Voodoo Fix is a rock band with a genre-bending style critically praised as the “funkier cousin of the Black Keys.” In a grand leap of faith, the band uprooted from their base in Los Angeles and moved to Nashville to record their debut album, In Deep. Musically the band combines elements of rock, blues, funk, and punk with lyrics that often depict the band’s personal trials and tribulations over the past decade. Set for their European debut in 2016, the band will be touring their upcoming album In Deep, which will be out April 12th, 2016. The band’s blue-collar rock style has become their signature as they echo the sound and soul of their heroes like The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ramones, and John Lee Hooker. With an undeniable live show, the band brings a familiar experience with a modern edge that has brought them to share the stage with multiple world-class acts including Reverend Horton Heat, Howlin’ Rain, Buddy Guy, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Winter, and Foghat. Through consistent touring across the U.S., The Voodoo Fix built an organic following which continues to grow rapidly with the band’s busy tour schedule. After recently teaming up with Grammy-award winning producer Shannon Sanders (Robert Randolph, India. Arie, Johnny Lang) and Darin “D-Roc” James (Memphis Horns, Solomon Burke, India.Arie) in their new Nashville base, they are poised to make some noise in the international scene.
