Traditional yet contemporary country blues. Full of bouncy, rhythmic guitar picking, and deep vocals, Coyote Slim creates "rural California blues" - songs of love celebrated and lost, alcoholic consolation, and better times down the road.

Coyote Slim is a modern "rambling country bluesman" who divides his time between Sonoma County, urban parts of the Bay Area, and the Santa Cruz Mountains. An advocate of locally produced food and sustainable living, Coyote Slim has lived primarily in the Bay Area, but also in Prescott, AZ, and in Springville, CA. Coyote Slim is an active performer at farmer's markets, house-parties, small clubs, benefits, 49s, and speakeasies throughout California. His music is the old-time country blues, telling tales of hard work, unemployment, and better times down the road -- music that comes from the hard asphalt streets of San Jose, the dusty highways of California's agricultural heartland, and the rolling oak woods of the coastal mountains. A farmer-musician by inclination, he is also a writer, an arborist, and a steward of the land.
