Larry Miller is undeniably one of the must see blues/rock guitarists bringing his unique showmanship to every performance. He is famous for his mesmerising guitar playing and high octane shows.

One of the hardest working musicians on the live music scene, he was a regular headliner at The Marquee in London and produced a barnstorming set at the Reading Festival. He is now more popular than ever and holds the record for the most encores at The Cambridge Rock Festival. Reviewing the festival the Get Ready To Rock journalist said “Crowd reaction to his performance was ecstatic ...Joe Bonamassa watch out, there's another new blues hero snapping at your heels”.

Classic Rock’s The Blues magazine readers voted Larry Miller number 3, only to be beaten by Joe Bonamassa and Walter Trout and hailed him “Keeper of the British blues-rock flame”.

"Elegantly crafted compositions … deep, expressive soloing and we, for one, are sold. Blues-rock brilliance." Guitar & Bass magazine. “The new Gary Moore” Radio Caroline.

If you like Rory Gallagher, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Moore, Walter Trout or Jimi Hendrix, you want to see Larry Miller. This is where blues meets rock.

Miller has several aces up his sleeve, including an incisive line in original songwriting, a great backup band and a voice box that sounds like its been dragged behind a stagecoach. Above all that, the main reason to track down Outlaw Blues is because its author is, quite simply, one of the fieriest, fruitiest, ballsiest guitarists you're likely to hear, drenching his smart,self-penned tracks with blood and sweat, and ensuring you believe every last note. Being bad never sounded so good.

Bluesmaster Larry Miller has been active for a long time on the road with its powerful blues-rock inspired by Rory Gallagher, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Gary Moore. Already seven albums Larry released. With Unfinished Business from 2010 and especially the excellent album On The Edge, Larry shown to belong to the absolute top in this genre. Now one (double) live album, and that's good, because this is still played live music comes into its own.

The album opens immediately with a solid blues rocker Still Is not Done With The Blues, followed by Messin 'With The Kid, clearly inspired by the release of his hero and example Rory Gallagher. Pretty slow blues songs are interspersed with stronger job. For the songs is plenty of time, with lovely long guitar solos of the master himself. The rhythm section with Simon Baker on drums and Derek White on bass is rock. added at the last studio album is keyboardist Ian Salisbury to the band and it also plays on this live album. This is really a hit. Salisbury plays the stars of heaven, and thus makes the sound complete. The band is well attuned to one another, and it sounds like a well-oiled machine. The enjoyment from splashes.

The highlight of the album is over 14 minutes long Just As Blues As It Gets. This well-known fragments of Voodoo Chile, Steppin Out, followed by a truly phenomenal play Shadow Play Rory Gallagher. Only the latter makes the purchase of this album more than worth it. After this song 2 beautiful encores and then it's over, visitors return home very satisfied, the bar has satisfied the evening and Larry get the proceeds with his companions in the van on to the next gig. Because this is what he can, what he wants and where he (really) good at.

For us it is hoped that he will soon head towards the Low Countries, a concert by Larry Miller is definitely worth it. For now have with this album Live & outlawed a nice alternative. Highly recommended!

Larry Miller has a legendary status as a blues rocker but there is more to Larry Miller. This ninth album, more than any of his other albums, shows his singer songwriting side with an eclectic mix of blues and rock. The nine tracks were taken from 25 songs written by Larry over the last two years. Larry says This is my best album ever. I love the blues rock genre but I’m always wanting to hear something more, take it somewhere else but never losing sight of passionate playing from the heart. I really believe we’ve achieved it on this new CD. The other eight tracks on the album range from power blues, as in the opening track One Fine Day and blues stomping rockers like Mississippi Mama to the beautiful love song Bathsheba and the love lost ballad Failed Again .

"`Wow, he can play! It's a standard reaction to a chance encounter with British blues man Larry Miller, and is typically followed by another thought: Why isn't he a superstar?` maybe that's the Unfinished Business' Miller is referring to.

A big live draw for many years, Miller is now starting to write albums that bottle the white heat of his shows, and you sense this latest effort is his best shot at the A-list. Back in 2008, we were impressed with Outlaw Blues, but Unfinished Business is even better: a taut, fiery, ambitious record. With stinging riffs dropping like mortar fire, there's a temptation to categorise Miller as a `guitar hero` but that's a disservice to his excellent original writing and battle-scarred voice box. Business is good."
Classic Rock Magazine 2012

"Holding his captive audience in a packed out venue hypnotising them into a trance with his guitar skills. A true master at work who many have said fit's a void left by the great late Rory Gallagher. Much respected within the music industry by fellow artists who have nothing but good words to say about him and his guitar playing ability"
Blues matters 2011

"As the natural successor to Rory Gallagher and Alvin Lee, Miller with the right backing looks set to commute his way to fortune with ease"

[4:40] 1. When Trouble Comes

[6:22] 7. The Devil's In The Detail
[6:30] 8. When The Bluesman Walked The Earth
[4:10] 9. The Wrong Name (Part Two)

Miller flexes his Marshall tone alluringly with the holy trinity at his disposal: Les Paul, Strat and Tele. There's Gary Moore-esque guitar histrionics (The Girl That Got Awav), spacious, mournful balladry (The Wrong Name) and unfussy grooves (Road Runner). Nine elegantly crafted compositions provide sturdy foundations for that deep, expressive, soloing style of his and we, for one, are sold. Blues-rock brilliance.
